Dr. Collins is seriously one of the best Rheumatologist I’ve ever had!! He almost made me cry (happy tears, of course) because finally my concerns had been heard. 10+ years with this disease and many providers later I’ve finally found the one! He provided me with the tools I need to manage this disease and gave me a very detailed explanation behind his decision for treatment. You’ll be in amazing care if you choose him and his team for all your internal needs. I’m beyond excited to come back to my next appointment. Hands down he’s the best of the best! 😊 Thank you times a million for being so great!

I have retained Dr. Collins as my Rheumatologist since he relocated from Mississippi to Nashville nine years ago. He saved my life about a decade ago after my Internist told me "there was nothing more he could do for me." Dr. Collins is an expert diagnostician and he quickly understood my symptoms. Suddenly I had a diagnosis, a course of treatment and a fabulous physician who actually cared about me and my multiple health issues. I always had a very positive experience at his clinic - this doctor and his staff are top notch. If you want the BEST - choose Dr. Deaver Collins.

Dr Collins and his staff are so kind and compassionate. I have dealt with issues my entire life that other rheumatologist have missed and other specialists have dismissed. Within minutes of talking to Dr collins he had a suspected diagnosis that he was able to “confirm” through a genetic test and specific radiographs. Dr. Collins is incredible. He is so patient and kind. He really listened to my symptoms and didn't dismiss me simply because my lab work didn't align perfectly with a diagnosis. Since he started me on the right lupus medication I have gotten my life back. My only complaint is that the office is so warm but the nurse told me that he does it for his RA patients, because cold is so difficult for their joints. So it's just another way he looks out for the people he cares for. Wish I could give him an extra star!

The nurse, Lizzie was great and so nice. My appointment with Dr Collins was very informative. I didn’t feel rushed and he took the time to explain things and treatment options with me. Follow up has been outstanding. I drove from Alabama to see him Bc the options are limited in North Alabama. They have been very accommodating with virtual visits and letting me have my labs performed here at home. Awesome Dr and staff!!! Would highly recommend!

Well I read a few of the negative reviews and to be honest, I am not sure if they are talking about the same practice. The staff was awesome, friendly and accommodating. They even called and checked on how busy Premier radiology was and did all of my check in stuff prior to me getting there. The office is clean and inviting. They were prompt and the doctor was on time for his appointment. I was there when instructed and I was attended to immediately. Dr. Collins is very nice. EXCELLENT bedside matter. I think he knows his stuff and is direct and to the point. He spent 45 minutes with me and LISTENED and he asked questions to determine the right path. I was very impressed. I have a follow up visit next week. He really made me feel comfortable and appreciated for being his patient.

Great experience. New patient. 1hr 20 min and I had my diagnosis and was on my way. He is kind, thorough, and attentive. The staff is as friendly as they get. Yes, you have to pay up front, they will not bill you later. There is a $100 minimum if you're going to pay part and pay the rest later. This is unfortunately their policy, so don't get a referral here if you cannot afford the copay because they will cancel your appointments. That said, if your insurance is decent, Dr Collins is great. Anyone looking for EDS diagnosis should get referred here, because he knows what it is, and he knows what it isn't, and he can tell you if you have it.

This practice is hands down the absolute best medical facility I’ve ever been to. Every medical office should take notes from this Dr and his staff. From the beginning process of my appointment being made, obtaining new Patient paper work via email to walking in the front door, the process was smooth and everything was explained in great detail. Eric at the front desk is very personable, kind and answered all and any questions that I had for him and made sure that everything with my insurance was as it should be and got me back very fast. Once I was back the nurse was very knowledgeable, kind and put any fears I had to ease. She went above and beyond her job description to make sure that everything was taken care of for me. The lady that took my blood was very kind and did her job exceedingly well!! The Doc... he was absolutely outstanding. He was very kind, knowledgeable far outside his scope of practice. He took his TIME to sit and LISTEN to everything I had to say and explained EVERYTHING in great detail!! There just aren’t doctors out there anymore quite like this. I will never go anywhere else. This office needs an award. It is far and few between that you find service like what was presented to me today at my visit with such a wonderful staff and doctor that truly care and gave their undivided attention. I would recommend anyone of all age ranges to this office! Thank you Dr. Collins and staff for making the not so fun things in life a bit lighter and a wonderful experience when it comes to medical care! I appreciate you all!

His nurse Lizzy has always been so kind, down to earth and helpful.
