After extensive research, I settled on Dr. Ferguson for my hip surgery. And am I glad I did! Dr. Ferguson and her staff, particularly Liz, are superb. Dr. Ferguson is a gifted surgeon whose skills are, frankly, unrivaled. If you need a THA, she's the only one!

Dr. Fergie was amazing. She took great care to examine me when she first looked at my hip. I had Steroid Induced Bone Necrosis and needed a full hip replacement at age 36. She not only gave me all the info on the different options on hip replacement, but made me feel empowered to make the decision myself. She talked me thru different complications I may have due to my personal health conditions and how to best avoid them. Her day-of-surgery coordinator, Nurse Liz, was awesome as well! She talked me thru what to expect and encouraged me to reach out to her with any questions. She always texted me a thorough response with all of my post-op questions. I was worried about surgery, but all the staff made me feel safe and secure. I would recommend Dr. Ferguson and her team if you are: a young hip/knee replacement, a small-stature person (she invented a hip surgery for children!!!), a fan of powerful females, or in need of a surgeon who listens more than they talk.

Dr. Ferguson replaced both my wife's hips last year. To say the result was positive is a gross understatement. She has done more than return function to my wife's hips. She's given her her life back. She has delivered quality of life where before there was very little. And she has returned our marriage to a state that existed when we were young but that was all but a memory before the surgery. She is a gift to people who need the type of treatment she provides. If you need a hip replacement, look no further.

In July 2020, Dr. Ferguson replaced my hip and I am absolutely thrilled with my new hip!! About three months after my surgery, I hiked 6 miles. Dr. Ferguson is a great surgeon, very compassionate, and always has time for all of my questions. If I need another hip replacement, I will definitely return to Dr. Ferguson. By the way, her staff is also awesome!

I had a total hip replacement in January of 2021. I was able to walk roughly four hours out of surgery and went home the same day. It’s early March now and I’m completely recovered. Dr. Ferguson is knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly a highly skilled surgeon. Her office and medical teams are excellent.

I have suffered my ENTIRE life with hip pain!! I had my first hip surgery at 12yrs old and for years that surgery reduced my pain; however by the time I hit my 30's the pain returned...10x worse!! After a few years of trying any and everything from diet, exercise, to seeing a chiropractor nothing relieved the pain. I finally decided it was time for a more invasive approach and a coworker recommended Dr. Ferguson. She told me how highly a friend of hers' spoke of Dr. Ferguson. I held unto Dr.Ferguson's info for a year before I finally decided I could not put this off any longer and I needed relief. I spoke with Dr. Ferguson in March 2020 and she explained my options as she sensed I was SUPER nervous about having surgery. My mother had both hips replaced over 10yrs ago and her recovery process TERRIFIED me which is a big reason why I delayed having surgery. At my first appointment with Dr. Ferguson, I decided to get a cortisol shot to see how that would work. The shot helped and lasted for about one month. At my follow up I decided now is the time and waiting would not change anything. After setting my surgery date of May 2020, Dr. Ferguson and her team were great about explaining what to expect before and after surgery. Now that the surgery has been done...I do not regret my decision at all! I can now perform simple task like putting on socks or polishing my own toe nails completely pain free. I would recommend Dr. Tania Ferguson to anyone needing a replacement! My surgery and recovery went so well my mother is considering having her hips redone by Dr. Ferguson 😊😊😊

Dr. Ferguson gave me a total right hip replacement and I couldn't be happier. After being misdiagnosed for a few years about my pain, She found several acute problems. My old hip had served me well after a creer as a young ballerina, but at age 56, it was....a mess. My new hip changed my life. No pain, great function, fantastic experience. Look forward to replacing my L in due time. Dr. F is a perfectionist and expects her team to be the best.

Dr. Ferguson performed 3 separate surgeries, during one operation, on our daughter. She is an amazing doctor and explained procedures during a consultation and also personally, about the outcome, to us after the operation. During the 8-hour surgery she also had the nurses call us every hour, with brief details, which gave us as parents a great feeling of relief. We are highly pleased with Dr. Ferguson and the care she has given to our daughter. Thank you!!!

Dr. Ferguson is absolutely the best! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and caring - she’s the only surgeon I’ve had that personally came to see me each day in the hospital. I had a PAO with her, and while I’ve heard of many complications with that surgery with other surgeons, I have had zero issues. Her office gave me plenty of information to feel prepared for surgery and recovery - an experience that spoiled me a bit for my neck surgeries a year later where I felt like there was a huge lack of information in comparison. I feel that she always has the best interest of the patient in mind and I have recommended her to several people.

If I could give Dr. Ferguson 10 or 20 stars I would!!!! From the moment I met her nurse, Val, I knew this was going to be a great experience. I was referred to her office from another hip surgeon because my issues were deeper than he could fix or address. From the MOMENT I met Dr. Ferguson, I knew I would never go to another hip surgeon and I was completely confident that if I needed surgery, she was the one to do it. At my first appointment, she spent a solid 45 minutes with me, and I felt like I was the only patient she had to see that day. We were talking about performing a PAO repositioning surgery in addition to a few other things... Very scary for this athlete. She walked me through what would need to take place over the next few months (MRIs, etc.) and told me how big of a decision this was. then said that it would ultimately be up to me on when I was going to have the surgery. The words from my first meeting with her again solidified that I was in the right place: "if you choose to have surgery, I will hold your hand through the entire thing... it's a BIG DEAL." She sure came through on her world. Once I decided that I was ready for the surgery, I was sitting in her office, almost in tears, and she AGAIN spent a solid hour, AT LEAST with me.. she walked me through the entire procedure: where she would make cuts, what she would do first, second, third; how she would close, what recovery would need to look like. She connected me with a prior patient whom was SO HELPFUL to this scared athlete. Dr. Ferguson knew how important getting back to athletics is for me and has done everything in her power to help me get not only back to where I was, but BETTER! When it came to surgery day/recover in the hospital, I was one of the first PAOs post Covid-19. Visitation was pretty much non-existent, but Dr. Ferguson fought for me because this surgery is too big and too intense to have to go through 3 days in the hospital alone. She fought hard. Why? because her patients come FIRST! She visited and/or called me everyday for a week post-op. When I thought I had an infection just a week after getting home from the hospital, she fit me in a crazy day to make sure I was ok, instead of sending me to an ER. She cares deeply for her patients. I don't trust my hips to anybody else.

Once again, Dr Ferguson and her team accomplished a very complex surgery on my right gluteal muscles and repaired A Heterotopic Ossification (HO) repair. The procedure was accomplished in an amazing efficient manor in 3:00 hours. This was my second surgery with Dr Ferguson. In 2008, I was referred to her to repair ALL three of my gluteal muscles. No one in my state would attempt such a complex repair. Dr Ferguson works with many out of state and international patients, and the staff was very accommodating to our out of state travel plans. Her staff even arranged a special rate at a local hotel for our housing needs, The surgery in 2008 lasted 5:00 plus hours and she reattached the gluteal maximus, medius and minimus. I believe this was the first time she attempted such an operation. My recovery was well organized and lasted about 8-10 weeks. After approximately a year, I started experiencing pain again in my right hip. I flew back to Nashville for a consultation and after various tests, it was determined that I developed a HO (calcium deposits). Some patients develop HO’s, due to extensive trauma and/or surgeries. This was my 4th procedure on my right hip. My HO procedure lasted about 3 hours. It’s now been two weeks and I have no pain and I am able to move about very well with my hip brace and walker. I also used the game ready icing device that alleviates most pain during the healing process. I highly recommend Dr Tania Ferguson and her staff.

I love this place. the staff is awesome and Dr. Ferguson is the best. This was my second Hip replacement and if I had another one I would go to her. I never had the pain I had I had with the first one. I was able to go home the day after my surgery. Walking up and down steps. The best by far

I had a Total Hip Replacement by Dr Ferguson. Everything far surpassed my expectations. I was able to walk and go home the day of my surgery. Dr Ferguson was great from the first visit with her. She listened to me and answered all my questions. When I was with her I was treated as if I was her only patient. She is very warm and friendly. Her Assistant Val, is also very easy to talk to. After surgery I was able to call her with any question. She made me feel like answering my question was important to her. They make an awesome team. I would recommend Dr Ferguson to anyone and everyone that needs hip surgery.

I felt thoroughly prepared for hip replacement surgery. Dr. Ferguson is personable and easy to talk. I was shocked that I was able to place weight on my hip the same day as the surgery. Im 7 weeks into the surgery and I'm healing well. Thanks Dr. Ferguson! Ken, my physical therapist, is encouraging and honest. I am beyond pleased with Dr. Ferguson and Dr.Byrd. When I met Dr. Ferguson I was going on 12 years of battling a hip injury from a ATV accident. I have had multiple surgeries and multiple doctors throughout the years. I was to the point I was ready to throw my hands up and accept the fact I was going to live in pain daily and not be able to do the things I once did. There was so many complications with my hip, I wanted to keep on doing things normal and then would pay for later as in could not walk right for a couple days or could not do anything hardly. There are plenty of details I could give and stories I could share from the things I suffered from, but that would take a while. To keep from posting a huge story, I will say I am almost 10 months out from my last surgery which was done by both Dr's. I am still amazed at how I feel, how I sleep and being able to walk without pain and being able to walk a 1/2 mile to mile and take a break and not have the pain I once did. Compared to the condition I was in when I met Dr. Ferguson in 2017 and where I am at now 10 months after surgery is a complete turn around. I am very thankful to have met this team.

Doctor Ferguson is an amazing woman! I had been living for years with an issue, embarrassed by my walk and a lot of pain. She was so understanding and cared so much for my issues. I ended up having to have an Arthroscopy done by Dr Byrd, and a Femoral Osteotomy by Dr Ferguson. It is very hard for me to find comfort in A doctor, due to my anxiety/panic disorder. However she always came in with a smile, telling me that everything will be okay. She truly cares about her patients, and wants to let you know she is there for you! Absolutely amazing doctor, surgeon, and woman! She is very thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. She really takes time with her patients to explain what’s going on, why it’s happening, and where to go from here. She listens intently and answers any and all questions the patient has. If the patient has any concerns, she doesn’t move forward until the patient feels comfortable. She did my RPAO & LPAO and did a magnificent job on both!

Dr Ferguson and her staff are professional, kind and efficient.
