J Craddock is amazing. She is our manager and makes sure not only that our family member gets great care, but actually rolls up her sleeves and gets things done. She visits regularly, coaches/monitors his care and even helped clean up when he had a water leak. Reshena is an amazing caregiver. She does more than just keep him going—she engages and cares about his & his quality of life. She looks at his photos with him, engages him in conversation and motivates him to do more than he normally would (like exercising on his foot pedals). The two of them are a blessing.

I honestly don't know what our family would have done without Comfort Keepers. We had to scramble to find immediate care for our father once he got home from a nursing facility. I first spoke with Jennifer who was so helpful and caring and connected us to Nicole who began to set us up with immediate care. We then had a very thorough home assessment with Mariea who was above and beyond reassuring that Dad would be taken care of. The amount of time she took with us, her attention to detail, and her caring demeanor was everything we needed in that moment. From there Dad was set up with the most loving and professional caregivers - Hornela, Aisha, Erica, Bradley...literally everyone Dad has had in the home has been truly AMAZING. The best part about Comfort Keepers is that they truly become like family. We are so blessed to have them.

Carolyn is absolutely amazing. She is able to juggle different needs for different people and make sure that all of the clients have full coverage. We have used comfort keepers for hospice care and for care of the widower after the hospice care. We have had 24-hour coverage to make sure that my uncle is okay. Unfortunately, not every person that we have encountered has been amazing, but in this field and during these times (covid) we have had a very positive experience. The vast majority of the people who have come in to take care of my family have cared and been willing to be flexible.

Choosing an individual to care for the people who have taken care of you their entire life is an overwhelming task, at least for me. I am an only child and POA for both of my folks who's memories leave their consciousness about every 15 seconds. If you are on this site, I am sure you know these feelings well. I would like to share very GOOD NEWS with you, and its just around the corner! Over the past few months, I came to the realization that I could no longer handle them on my own, but due to some extenuating circumstances, home care is the only option open to me at this time. We now have a wonderful individual from Comfort Keepers named Stephanie Tanner, I call her a gift wrapped package from Heaven! I know there are many caregivers out there who do their jobs very well, but for me, I immediately noticed a sincerity of care in he r voice, smile and demeaner. I hardly ever see that in someone on an initial meeting, and sure enough, just a few days later, it was apparent that she was definitely meant for this career, with the gift of talent God bestowed upon her. Stephanie has come to love my parents as if they were family, and when she told me that every morning when she arrives, my father opens the door with a big hug for Stephanie, then my mom follows suit, I could hardly believe it! I don't nor have I ever gotten that from them!! I have always given anyone the benefit of the doubt and will trust them until they give me a reason not to. Every passing day, the trust continues to build. One of the gifts she has given ME is her understanding { and I mean she, REALLY "gets it"} of how stressful it can be to be in the caregiver roll as their daughter week after week, month after month, year after year, and realizing that nothing I do is solving anything. She seems very very happy to be able to be the one to provide me a presence of mind, and peaceful calmness , to take such worry and stress off my shoulders, and be able to know that my folks are safe. That is a feeling I have not experienced in 3 years. Her skill set is stellar, but the way she applies it, I can see when I watch the 3 of them, they have just become buddies! I told Stephanie when she started that I need clear communication from her, and in the couple of months she has been with us, she has never failed to carry out anything I have ever asked of her with kindness and respect! I would have bet a years paycheck that the powers that be at Comforts Keepers would find someone with the specific qualities that I thought were essential for their care, but I was very happy that they proved me wrong. Stephanie is such a blessing to us in so many ways and I thank God for her! If you have needs for caregiving big, medium or larger, Please call the wonderful staff at Comfort Keepers. I have had no problems or issues of any kind with any staff member ever, only compassion, a listening compassionate ear, and a desire to provide all my needs any time I call. I do not regret any expenses I have incurred, because the service and my peace of mind and safety of my parents is much more valuable than a price! It takes exceptional service, usually, for a customer to take the time to write a review, and that is exactly what has prompted me to recommend this company for in-home care of your loved one. The decision is complex, and if feels like one that is made without complete assurance that what-you-hear is actually what-you-get. Let me share my experience to help inform you. I contacted Comfort Keepers, and several other area companies, and interviewed each. The shining star, far and above the rest, was this company, and Mariea responded quickly to my needs over the 6 month period necessary to actually begin the transition from assisted living to home. When finally the time was right for us to take action, she was there for us and the transition was smooth as silk. She had carefully considered our environment and our needs and had chosen the two live-in caregivers she felt would most compliment my mother's personality and needs. And, she hit a home run! Laura and Suzanne have been trading weekly shifts, and we could not be more pleased with the service. Each caregiver brings a different personality and style of care to the table, and the variety is exactly what benefits my mother. Each of them provides the guiding company and compassionate assistance that my mother so much needs, especially after such a brutal year in assisted living. The Covid situation in facilities has delivered us into a situation that is nothing short of PTSD, and the tender sensitivities that these caregivers have used in helping Mom through this transition has been an absolute Godsend.They understand the need to rebuild Mom's confidence in herself, and are able to do so while re-establishing Mom's sense of place in her own home. There is not an academic degree available that trains a person to better deliver what these caregivers have been able to provide out of the compassion in their hearts. We are forever grateful for their help, and forever satisfied that we chose the best company for the critical job at hand. Mariea, Suzanne, and Laura are an absolute rock-star team!

Although, unfortunately they were not able to provide the services necessary for his current condition they provided many resources that will help them tremendously. Resources they would otherwise have not known about. If his condition changes they will definitely go with comfort keepers.

I called them on a Friday night after we realized that Hospice does not provide overnight care. They did not have a sitter available that weekend, but the person I spoke with on the phone could tell I had a rough day with the move from hospital to home hospice for my dad. She prayed with me over the phone that Friday night and then called me on Monday to check on me. I have not used their services but the people working there have hearts of gold!!
