I would like to set the book straight. I am giving this group of caregivers 5, yes, I typed 5 stars. I have had a very positive experience with this in-home care people. Alison one of the Life Advisors that goes way above anyone else that I have come in contact with......however ALL the staff has been amazing in helping my brother navigate through his "Senior" years. If there is any time that people need help, it is their "Senior" years of life. We are ALL going to get there, if we are lucky! Having a group of in-home helpers is invaluable!! Thanks to ALL!!

Lifespark tries reasonably hard to be of service, but sometimes all they are able to do is to provide a misc. person (often with no experience) to sit with your loved one. In our case, we needed help assisting/lifting a loved one for help with the bathroom, but Lifespark sometimes only had a young woman available to help, who might only weigh 100 lbs herself. We had to pay $1000 per day, even though the service wasn't much more than a babysitter in many cases. Be sure to read the fine print regarding refunds because sometimes you can be reimbursed if the help is inadequate. We used Lifespark while we were searching for a nursing home. No Nursing Homes would take my dad with dementia because he would punch & kick whenever anyone touched his broken arm while they were trying to help him. So we had to check him into the hospital to get him medicated enough, and after that we found a nursing home and hospice that finally accepted him (Brookdale). Best wishes, these are very difficult transitions to manage.

My husband and I contacted Lifesprk to help with the transition from 2 months in the hospital following heart surgery to home. We were lucky to have Vicky as our case manager. She and two staff members came to the hospital (at no charge) to learn the procedures for caring for my husband with his heart pump. She was very diligent in managing the staffing for his needs, and was professional and extremely competent in all of our interactions. Most of the caregivers were very good - particularly the nursing personnel. We did have an issue with over billing, but that finally got resolved. I would recommend this agency and would use them again, if the need arises.

This company has such a holistic view of wellness for seniors, and is innovative in their use of technology to serve clients even in the days of COVID. I have the leverage to hire the staff I need to grow an amazing team. I am so excited to see their Hospice program grow and thrive!
