My dad hired BrightStar care to help him at home after he took a fall almost 2 months ago. Mari has been a great asset to the BrightStar care team. She’s is exceptionally friendly and caring. Mari goes to great lengths to make sure he is clean and comfortable and keeps things very clean and organized around his space.

Debra has been our caregiver for more than a year. She does an excellent job caring for our mother who has dementia and Alzheimer’s. Debra provides other services such as light cleaning, laundry, preparing meals, and more. Our mother looks forward to her visits and their conversations. Even though our mother repeats herself consistently Debra will find ways to bring up other topics that will peak our mother’s curiosity. This type of engagement assist our mother with her memory loss and allows her mind to think outside of her normal routine. Often times our mother will share the conversations that she had with Debra. I often hear them laughing and enjoying each other‘s company. Debra is an excellent caregiver and I highly recommend her. She is professional, skilled, and knowledgeable.

When I arrived at your hospital I was extremely confused due unforseen sercumstances with my intestines. I was scared and wished I could run. In the past two days I have heard from the staff that I did and said things that I never would have said or done. I've always prided myself on being a good man and I'm one of the nicest people you'd ever meet. I'll have to learn to forgive myself because all these employes have showed me so much compassion. And because of them I'm recovering and know when I walk out of here I'll be leaving in much better condition. I was visiting Las Vegas with my 93 year old dad, when he fell ill. He became confused and unable to transfer from his wheelchair to the hotel bed and I was incapable of helping him by myself. I called a few places in Las Vegas that offer caregiver service and the only one that returned my call was Brightstar. Not only were they able to find me a caregiver to come to the hotel at a strange hour , they laid out all the terms prices and contacted me to let me know when the caregiver was nearby . [v] My dad lives at an assisted living facility and I'm very familiar with the level of care expected. The caregiver they sent was so professional, compassionate, and capable it made a bad situation very pleasant due to the way they handled the situation. My dad is a very tall man and it was difficult to transfer him, but the caregiver managed to do so and was able to bathe him in bed, change him and also get him back in his wheelchair. [ ] [ ] The company followed up to ensure our satisfaction and asked if we needed further services. I didn't think we did, but it turns out that I did again actually. They came through in a pinch with short notice and provided me with a second fantastic caregiver that was equal to the first. They additionally sent I manager to help with my dad do to his size and inability to help himself and they were the most professional, cheerful, incapable caregivers I've ever witnessed . I'm happy to report dad's back to his normal old happy, capable self and I'm very appreciative of your service while we were out of town.

I am a disabled resident of Oakland CA, who is a client of Brightstar Care. I decided to go on vacation to Las Vegas this year in May. I contacted the Brightstar Care office and told them That I was in need of their companion care giving, or chaperone service. They assigned me a caregiver named Jeremy Daughrity. As soon as I landed at the airport and was taken to the baggage claim area Jeremy met me and asked if I preferred being called Mr. Borr, or Blaise. Then he offered to push me to his car, which I graciously accepted. I knew this was going to be a good vacation, because I had never been treated with this level of respect before. I am a high functioning disabled man, which means that I can take care of my own personal hygiene, and grooming needs. All I need is for someone to show me around and keep me from getting into trouble. What made this trip different was that I felt that Jeremy was my ally in Las Vegas. We arrived at The Rio around 4pm to survey the room to find out what I would need to buy from Walmart. Jerremy took me to Walmart and helped me shop for items like a coffee maker, baby wipes, milk and soda pop. After dropping the groceries off, we had dinner at The Carnival World Buffet. Jeremy made sure that my glasses were constantly full of iced tea, and that I had plate after plate of shrimp, crab, and prime rib. Once we were finished with dinner he took me back to the room where we both flushed out an itinerary for the week. I had a few things that I wanted to do, such as seeing one of Elton John’s last concerts as well as Jennifer Lopez, but he suggested some other activities as well. I had the experience of going on The CSI tour where we both ended up solving a crime, as well as seeing the Titanic exhibit, and a museum tour called The Bodies. I was particularly impressed when Jeremy was more than willing to start his shifts later the night of the concerts to allow us time to sightsee and eat either before or after the concerts. Jeremy knew of some great opportunities where I could buy discount tickets for exhibits and shows. Thanks to him, Las Vegas was the first time I got to experience eating at Bubba Gump’s restaurant. I also had the experience of riding The Zipline on Front Street, and the roller coaster at NY NY. I was having so much fun, I didn’t want the trip to end. On the last day of the trip, Jeremy arrived at my hotel room early to help me pack all my souvenirs, as well as bring back my clean clothes which he volunt6eered to wash the night before. He also arrived with my boarding pass which I asked him to print out for me. When we arrived at the airport, Jeremy and I were both under the impression that he could take me to the TSA line for boarding. We were wrong. He pushed me back to the Southwest ticket counter where I requested a Southwest employee to help me through the boarding process. If you ever travel to Las Vegas, I highly recommend that you contact Brightstar Care and ask to work with Jeremy Daughrity.
