My appointment with Dr Eze yesterday was very good. He was very up to date with my pain problems and was making sure I was letting him know how I was progressing. He has been very helpful making sure my pain was being taken care of. Rachel . I was in terrible pain when I first starting seeing her. She is very professional and concerned about my arthritis and she making sure she is doing the best for me. I am thankful that my daughter told me about her. I can't say enough about Rachel and the help she has given me. I love her and will remain with her as long as she keeps me

Dr. Ezeanolue has been a great find. He spends a generous amount of time explaining things to his patients and clearly is very knowledgeable. He also does not look for short cuts that might be more profitable for a doctor, but rather pursues the safest route to address a patient's ills. I highly recommend him.

This was my first time getting the shots I had no knowledge of what to expect during the process. Once I went to the office I had no clue of what was going to happened what I really dislike once I was in was not being informed I keep asking what was the proces. Dr.Ez fixed me right up with draining fluid off my left knee. Their was 25cc of fluid that wasn't supposed to be there. Then I was given a Cortizone injection. My knee feels a thousand times better & it's only been 45 minutes!!! I'm so happy & I thank him for helping me! {This the next morning. My knee isn't hurting! Dr ez is great Dr has helped me many time with pain issues. But doc if you're reading this you and Rachel and many of your other employees are wonderful but if you could please address your phone system it is absolutely atrocious and that's not fair to your patience who can't get a hold of anybody at any given time or ever I've been told to use the texting app if I can't get through on the phone and honestly that hasn't worked either nobody has responded to that either so doc we love you but please fix your phones thank you.

Just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the excellent care I’ve been receiving from apex medical center, Dr EZY and his awesome staff for the past year. Dr EZY is my pain management dr and I see him once a month for pain medication due to chronic pain. I don’t really like depending on medication to deal with this but his care has made my life more functional. The problem with being prescribed this type of medication is that it is often out of stock due to the opioid crisis. I may get my 30 day prescription on a certain day but if the pharmacy is out I may not have my refill anywhere from one day late to up to 2 weeks late. This has become a real problem because due to not being able to control the pain but the awful withdrawals that my body goes thru. The withdrawals are actually worse than the pain Dr EZY and his staff saved my holidays this past December. I saw him on 12/5 and of course the pharmacy was out of stock but I was told I should have the medication one week later when their next shipment came in. I waited the one week and was told it would be another week as my medication did not come in with the shipment Not only was my body experiencing severe withdrawals from not having my medication but my husband and I were due to take a flight out of town to spend the holidays with both my daughter son in law and my grandchildren I started to panic as I knew I could not leave town without some kind of pain medication And also was told that due to short notice my airline tickets could not be refunded Dr Ezys staff saved the day After speaking to them they started working on my problem It took all day but they were able to find an alternative medication that could be filled for me Of course it was not a strong as my regular meds but I did not care because it enabled me to continue with my plans The prescription was actually filled at 9pm on the evening before we flew Nothing like Cutting it close lol Anyway I know this is long but I felt it was important to explain how this all came about I just can’t say enough about how kind and compassionate and caring dr EZY and his staff are We are currently exploring future procedures to help with my chronic pain and for that I am most grateful Dr EZY I thank you so much along with your staff Sincerely Sheryl Cox

Staff very kind!!! Dr was very passionate on how I was feeling! He took care of my need. I was in excruciating pain, insurance denied my request twice and the authorization dept kept insisting that it was medically necessary and finally was able to have my injection to release some of this pain. I appreciate the fact that that he can serve as a Primary Care Physician because of having a specialty in Internal Medicine, can help those who need pain management, those who become disabled to restore function and to be successfully integrated back into society because of his speciality in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He also is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME); which enables him to provide medical evaluations at the request of other entities. All of the above proves that he is a highly intelligent and capable physician. He also hires competent staff who care about their patients, are professional and keep a clean environment.

Thorough Staff, Dr Eze was Excellent, went above n beyond to help me... My injections he administered help me relieved my pain in my lower back, due to my Disc herniation.. What an Miracle it was for me to find Dr Eze Donalue!! He saved my life.. I literally couldn't bare the pain any longer and decided I couldn't live with this pain, til I met Dr. Eze(whom is my Hero) He literally saved my life!

One of the nurses spoke to another about her weekend like I was a piece of furniture....while she was putting in my IV. The other nurse kept trying to ask me intake questions and be professional. Once I was actually in the room getting the shot, everyone is very professional. No one tells you anything about the shot you're getting. Before, after...I didn't know what to expect. For one appointment they didn't even tell me to fast so I had to come back another day. If you need to communicate with anyone at APEX do it through the portal. Or text. Don't bother calling. Major staffing issues. The send surveys after every appointment. I said it went badly one time and it sends me to their website. Since I at least got the shot I went for this time I said it went well and it brought me here to leave a public (assumed positive) review. Cute. If I wasn't in so much pain, I would start over with another doctor's office.

Dr. “E,” is outstanding. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to . He has three different offices in the valley. I been to them all and his staff makes me feel important and comfortable especially Rachael and Daisy who works at the Henderson office. I been his patient for years and it feels like almost family. His website is full of easy to understand video knowledge about the different types of back issues and current surgeries that one can have. So I'm not very proud of the fact that I had a total meltdown right before getting my cortisone shot. I was so nervous and tears was running down my face but the doctor made sure I was okay. and he was personable. The attendant reassured me the whole time and was so kind. It was fast and was relatively painless and every one of the staff members helped make a positive experience. Saniya at the front desk is awesome! The wait time wasn't to bad.

I was having chronic hip pain to the point I was unable to walk without a significant limp, the pain was excruciating, and I was also unable to stand and sleep comfortably. I went to see Dr EZ and he did injections in my hip. I woke up the next morning with a minimal limp and the pain was reduced significantly. Dr. EZ is an amazing doctor and there is minimal wait time in the office. I have been recommending Apex Medical to all of my friends and family and 7 of them have switched doctors and are now happy patients of Apex!!

He makes certain that everyone knows what is expected of them. I admire and I respect that. Andrea Castillo has been the best thing to ever happen to me. She has been responsible for my primary care. She discovered an extremely important medical condition that no doctor could find in over 15 years. I will follow her to the very end. She has my absolute trust. And she's beautiful! However, she is as smart and dedicated to her profession as she is beautiful. Andrea has a personality anyone would love. But...she is very, very professional. All of the staff members, nurses, assistants, reception, have been the best. They are always pleasant and professional. The only real issue I have is that my insurance does not seem to pay them enough most of the time. The entire team is worth far more than they get paid, in my opinion. I have seen multiple doctors over the years. But I finally found what I have been searching for. Thanks a million times over, to everyone who works at Apex Medical Center. Update... A year later I would rate Apex higher. I have been disabled and in poor health for 18 years. I had seen multiple doctors in several states (more than a dozen). Apex found exactly why my health was so poor for all those years. I could not thank them more. I love this place! And everyone that works here!

First off I gotta remind people that everyone has different experience based on their own behavior. If you come in rude and demanding then you will get treated the same way. But not here. For me anyway. I have "white coat fever" I have a long medical history and have had to deal with the worst and the best of them as far as doctors are conserned. I have been going to Apex now for almost a year. And I feel comfortable. I see Andrea for my Primary care needs she LISTENS! She takes the time to make sure all my questions are answered. She knows I have anxiety about my health and she has a calm soft voice and her smile always just relaxes me. When I had a specialist who I wasn't comfortable with she sent me to someone else. She looks over all my tests and helps to to understand everything from procedures to possible issues. I absolutely adore her. I also see Dr EZ for pain mgt and he too knows about my anxiety with doctors. He laughs at my jokes and will give me his honest opinion about things I have questions about. He listens and will give options but ..he will tell you his HONEST OPINION. He makes his points without being rude or hasty. Though he is busy he does apologize for running behind if need be. He even answers my husband's questions and puts us at ease. When my other Dr had an opinion Dr EZ showed me facts and was able to make the best choice in my care. The office does get busy but then again that just proves that they care for a lot of folks. The ladies in the medical billing and prior authorization dept are sweet and I always crack jokes with them. The nurses are always polite and I haven't found one I don't like. My ONLY issue is the ladies at the front desk kinda ignore folsk and seem to upset ppl but I don't think they mean to. The phone situation could be better but hey ..I trust these folks with my life. And I thank them for helping me stay alive!!!

I love Apex med. I love Rachael. I love all the staff. However, what I don't like is this. You have to have injections of any kind on a Friday and you also need your medication refills on a Friday. You don't get them. I had injections yesterday and I needed refills and I have not got them that kind of bites because I'm out. But everything else is great

Dr Eze’s treatment plans for my back/spine issues is always precise and successful. I have had epidurals, etc in the past but no one has ever been able to relieve the degenerative disc/arthritic caused pain. The staff in the surgical center are kind, reassuringly, and always have upbeat attitudes! (Especially Irene and Tamika). The main office can be difficult with follow up and it’s difficult to get through to anyone on the phone at times. The medical staff at the main office are professional and attentive, and the new staff front office is better than last year.

The actual visit with Dr. EZ was good. The wait time was insane and exhaustive. I waited nearly 2 hours for a follow-up appointment that was over in less tan 15 min. This is an issue that I discussed with Dr. EZ who informed me that it was a staffing issue that they are tryin to resolve and gave me pointers for next time. I will definitely being doing as he suggested and I am hoping the long wait time issue is resolved.

The front desk is very rude, told me I had to come in 1 hour early to complete paperwork. I informed them that I had already downloaded the 21 pages and completed them.They stated that still had to come in 1 hour early, I expresed my displeasure at the prospect of sitting around for an hour, they still said I had to come in early. I arrived early and sar around.I had to wait 30 minutes for the Doctor to see me, The front desk staff also mispelled my name on paperwork they gave to my tech. I was upset at having to wait so long that I forgot to ask the Dr. some questions and he was in a hurry to get to other patients that techs were telling him were getting impatient at having to wait so long. The tech that assisted me and took my information was exceptional, a true professional. She treated me with respect and was just "The Best" The Doctor was vevy good and completely understood my pain and provided a good course of treatment. I wish he wasn't so rushed, he was very competent and I wish I could have talked to him more. I highly recommend the Doctor and his tech, but beware of the front desk.

They have both been my primary care and pain management doctors for several years and when I first arrived I had no quality of life and my pain was so severe I was bed ridden. I have been going to Apex for both Primary care and pain management for well over 5 years. All the staff have been really professional. Rachel Lunini one of the nurse practioners has been caring and knows her stuff. She is very thorough and was the one to send me for the tests that found my thyroid cancer and got me taken care of and on my journey to a full recovery. I try to see Rachel when I need medical services, but all their other doctors and nurse practioners are great too. This is the first facility to actually pinpoint the pain down to the specific nerve and tendon instead of just pushing medication, surgery, or simply no treatment. I actually felt listened to as a pain patient. I not only trust Dr. Ezeanolue but I can count on him making decisions about my care that always has my health as the top priority! The staff is very sweet and polite to me so I have no idea why other reviews say anything different! My calls are answered and if not immediately then they call me back within an hour or two! Apex on Mohave n Bonanza take much better care of my needs than the main office on Wellness way... But the main off ice on Wellness Way does a good job on injections n both offices combined are a great place for pain management overall . (Rock on Ms. Jen.) I was put under general anesthesia for these injections, (I went AFTER WORK),I woke up feeling fine, and my back has NOT HURT SINCE I WENT IN! I had to have a form filled out by Dr. Eze for the Department of Motor Vehicles attesting to my eyesight and physical well being. There were a lot of people in the waiting room and I had to wait over an hour to be seen. Also, parking is very difficult. That being said, when I did meet with Dr. Eze he immediately apologized for the long wait time; explained why it happened (his office always sees walk-ins to help lower medical costs) and was very thorough. I left feeling Dr. Eze cares about people, knows his employees (I mentioned how good one of his physician assistants is) to which he responded in such a way that I understood that he knows his employees. Anyway my point being everybody is struggling right now during this PANDEMIC so if i tell the girl all i have today is 10 dollars and i can pay more on the 3rd as that is when i get paid from social security my ck is 963 a month and my rent is 792 so when you take all this into consideration??? Be a little more COMPASSIONATE with your patients. She told me you have to pay at least 20 or i wouldn't be seen?? I think that was wrong. It wouldn't hurt anyone to have given me another week or so to pay on the 3rd. My meds are 47 dollars so because i paid out that 20 i had to go to my neighbor and borrow some money

I can say this I was bothered with over hearing a woman nurse talk down about a patient because she wasn’t understanding. As a matter of fact, I walked in today, which was the wrong day for my appointment and still they kindly fitted me into their schedule. I'm also a patient of Dr. Rachael Lunini. She use to be my primary care physician, but that changed because of insurance. I'm so sad about that. She was the doctor who cared and saw me as a person with sickle cell and chronic pain. She missed nothing. The moment she stopped being my primary care, I ended up in the hospital with a low hemoglobin of 4.0, requiring blood transfusions, in chronic pain, and my specialty doctor seem to show very little concern for me as an individual. I feel like someone that just walks in his office, he does his daily routine and that's it. He doesn't talk to me, he vaguely answers my questions. I don't know , perhaps it's because his specialty is cancer patients and he has very little or no interest in sickle cell patients. I have been admitted into the hospital at 5 times since I stopped seeing Dr. Lunini. I wish I could find a specialty that cares for me the way she did. I just got discharged from the hospital again. My only complain worth Apex, this entire week, after being discharged, I ran out of pain meds and have been suffering greatly and for 5 days my husband and I have left message for Dr. Lunini because I have laid in my bed for nearly a week in pain and no one has taken the time to simply give her the message. That is sad, because Dr. Lunini is a very caring person and she would never ignore her patients, especially in moments of suffering.

This office has amazing staff and atmosphere. Dr. Eze treats his patients with so much care and you can tell they have great results. I read a few people complaining that Dr. Eze is rude, and for someone who would like their healthcare sugar coated possibly, but he is just very straight forward and honest about his care. I have referred family members to this clinic and they themselves have a seen great results. I definitely recommend this office to anyone who wants to see results and improvement in their pain situations. My only complaint would be wait times but the providers make it so much worth the wait.

Pleasant staff, the front desk ladies and the friendly nurses and I can't leave out the scheduling staff. My first appointment with Dr.Oruene was the first time I have ever been treated with 100% sense of sincere concern and honestly felt truth and compassion in his words of advice from a professional and a person who demonstrated with sharing his own experience with having hypertension (High Blood Pressure). My blood pressure was 228/211 that day. The highest it's ever been. The nurse ask me to sit and wait for her to immediately go to Dr. Oruene and tell how dangerously high it is. He sent the nurse back to the exam room I was waiting in and handed me two blood pressure pills that were the doctors own prescribed to him because of his hypertension. With him doing that for me along with a very serious talk about the importance of taking my medication every day and how easily I could have had a stroke or heart attach and possibly even died if I don't take my medicine that is prescribed for my hypertension. That was very impressive and thoughtful of a doctor to do that. I finally have a real doctor I said to myself.

UPDATE: My appointment was confirmed via text and they made sure to keep confirming even on the day. When I needed to reschedule they answered the phones and they were very pleasant. I can't wait to meet the doctor. His rep proceeds him. I have a primary physician there that I am supposed to see. I was told by another doctor that I could possibly have Lupus and or rheumatoid arthritis. I've been calling all week long to set up an appointment to see the Dr I am assigned to. However I only got through to hearing a real person once and they put me on hold, NEVER picking back up. Upon calling several other times I got two rings and then voicemail and other times I got sent straight to voicemail. This is supposed to be my primary physician and I can't even see him because NO ONE NEVER ANSWERS. I've even left messages and no call back. I made an appointment online no one has called to confirm it with me. I'm highly disappointed because I need to see a doctor my primary doctor I've been assigned to in order to get the proper diagnosis and since I can never get through I'm just in pain suffering.

I had an emergency that didnt require the ER but they could of easily paged the Dr. But refused to and said call back when the office was open but it was 5:30pm and they closed at 6pm and didnt want to bother them and said you will be ok throwing up for another night so call at 8am. Miss Tamika ( I hope I spelled this beautiful ladies name right), who answered my call at the Bearden office, just recently helped me with a problem I was having getting a prior authorization. She accomplished more in 5 minutes then I was able to accomplish in 5 days. And she did this while making me feel important and special. Her presence and many others are why I have been a patient with Apex medical for many years now. The doctors are wonderful but we all know it's the support staff that keep things going. And Miss Tamika is one of those people that make you believe there is still good and caring people in this crazy world. Saw Dr.Ezeanolue for injections and he was thorough, listened and did a very good job of making a very painful procedure less stressful. The nurses were also very polite. -Side note, upon leaving one of the patients asked me to lend them my Juul, I gently declined and he yelled at me outside of the facility. I hope not to see him again at my next appointment. He had a walker and was there for pain management, and I decided not to engage in his behavior. Luckily my ride pulled up just as it happened.

Cons 1. Waiting time in lobby - 2 hrs+ 2. Waiting time in room - 1 hr+ 3. Front office - Unorganized - referrals take long and sometimes office fails to send. Approval notices sent out when in fact are denied. Referrals are made without verifying if company accepts patients insurance 4. Appointments are not same day appointments, I usually have to wait 1 to 2 weeks to see Dr.Ez or Rachel 5. Nurse or student helpers- I feel nurse should be with students to help the appointments go faster. 6. Dr.Ez does need to work on his people skills. Pros 1. Dr. Ez is a very good Dr. I had a pain in my shoulder for 2 yrs and it was very hard to move my arm. Dr. Ez fixed my pain in 2 weeks. 2. Rachel is awesome she listens to every word you say.
