I highly recommend this employer for home health. I cannot name one staff member who was rude or unkind toward me during the whole process or time I have worked here. They care for their patients, and for that, I give them a high rating. If anyone is looking for a well-rounded job, with caring staff, Amada is where you should be. They are awesome. I like Amanda senior Care services. They have experienced caregivers. My favorite is Teresa. She is a joy to work each time she comes. She is a great. Worker. Amanda always tries to send a substitute if caregiver is absent. I am pleased with the service I get.

AMADA has done a great job finding a consistent caregiving team for my grandpa who has dementia. It is very important he has a consistent team and Amanda makes sure that happens. They always inform me of the schedule each Friday for a new week and as soon as they are told of any changes they contact me. They have notes in his file that all the caregivers can see and review to know about him and his preferences. Overall we are very satisfied with their services.

Most businesses don’t have there stuff together like they should but this company they know what there doing. They deserve to be put out they. I hired Amada Senior Care in Charleston, WV, to provide homecare for my two aunts seven days a week. The Amada employees took the time to get to know my aunts so that they could make diet and safety suggestions. Kari went to great lengths to get us started and helped with our insurance. Her team was skilled at tailoring my aunts’ needs to their care and they were very quick to address any concerns or glitches that arose. Andrea was a great caregiver and even helped the day we moved my aunts to assisted living. Since I live five hours away from Charleston, I needed people I could trust to help my aunts and I found that with Amada. Highly recommended!

I'm truly lucky to work for this company! I started with the company a few months ago as a caregiver. I had worked in a hospital for 3 years before and wanted a change of pace. I wanted to work somewhere that I actually had time to build a trusting relationship for the people I was taking care of. Being a caregiver for this company is amazing! The office placed me me with a few different clients to see how we fit together until we found the clients I was best able to care for and provide companionship to. A spot had opened in the office to be a manager and it was offered to me. I accepted, but was scared I wasn't going to be able to be good at the job. Everyone in the office was GREAT at answering all of my questions and walking me through everything step by step, and still are. I also still get that 1:1 with clients. Even though my job is mainly in the office, I'm still regularly out meeting new clients and able to work shift with the ones I had before I switched from a full time caregiver. I love my job.

I genuinely enjoy working for Amada Senior Care West Virginia. Kari Peyatte is a very thoughtful, kind, and fair employer. She recognizes her outstanding employees regularly with certificates, thank you cards, gift cards, and incentives for a job well done (bonuses and pay raises for good performance evaluations). In the 3 months that I have worked for Kari, I have received 2 thank you cards, each one containing a gift card and a personal note thanking me for specific things that I have done for her as her employee. She is also generous with her verbal praise to myself and our caregivers. Furthermore, I know that she does her best always to provide all her clients with their services, aiming to never miss a shift. She has even gone out to a client's house before to be the caregiver when there was a last-minute call-off. I feel very fortunate to work for someone who values my hard work and expresses her appreciation in meaningful ways. I don’t know that I have ever felt so appreciated by an employer. I went to 10 interviews and had already accepted a position with another company the week I interviewed with AMADA. Their mission and friendly staff won me over. I was able to begin right away. I love the individuality AMADA has for each client and their specific needs. So much thought and planning goes into providing care. AMADA sees its clients as people. Getting to know clients on a personal level really fuels my drive for success. Having a diverse staff from all walks of life brings so many perspectives to my job. Everyone has been so helpful and the team-oriented environment is such a positive. I wish I would have found AMADA earlier in my career.

Amada Senior Care was very accommodating with providing staff during the hours we requested. Their staff were very helpful, caring people who we were comfortable leaving our father with when we had to be away. Any concerns or schedule conflicts we had were addressed right away. If we have the need arise again, I would not hesitate to contact them.

My father had emergency surgery and after a slow recovery we needed to bring him home. I only had two days to get his home ready and find help. Amada showed up that day even though it was a weekend and assured us they could handle our needs, even at short notice. They worked with us to staff 24 hour care. We could not have gotten my father fully recovered without their support. I always got a quick response, the care givers were loving, competent and easy to have in our home. I would highly recommend them.
