I just finished session 10 today, and my whole body has changed! When I first came to Greg I had a chronic pain in my back, a lasting hamstring injury, and a weird pain on my hip. All of these injuries have dissipated thanks to SI. When I look at myself sideways in a mirror I can clearly see that my body has become straighter and longer. My hips which used to splay outwards have been brought back in line! My ankles can actually rotate now! I have more space in all parts of my body. Even breathing has become easier. My whole body is now functioning with more ease. During the sessions I could actually feel my body moving into place and becoming aligned. I cannot recommend Greg enough!

I've been through all ten sessions with Greg and a few tune-ups with Rachel. They're an incredibly skilled team and have a deep understanding of body mechanics that they've developed through thousands of hours of study and practice. I'm 25 years old, I work in construction, and I've boxed, wrestled, climbed, run spartan races, and put my body through all kinds of stresses and injuries. Greg and Rachel can recognize an issue the moment I walk through the door and immediately go to work on fixing it at the source. It's incredible to watch and feel! Not only are they proficient in their craft, but they're eager to teach and explain the mechanics and processes of the joints, muscles, tendons and fascia they're working on. Thanks to them I'm stronger and more capable than I've ever been. I can't recommend Bodywork Architectures highly enough!

Rachel has worked wonders for me and my posture. My upper back used to get so angry sitting at a desk, while standing for long periods to cook, or honestly for no good reason whatsoever. After the ten series with her I was able to sit at a picnic table all day with no back pain!!! I don’t know what higher acclaim is needed.
I feel like Rachel cares deeply about the work she does and the outcomes she is working towards with me. You can feel it during the bodywork and when she checks in to see how you are doing after. I highly recommend Rachel and Bodywork Architechtures!

I am so grateful to have found Rachel! I am a hairdresser and had been living with chronic back pain for months, and undiagnosed breathing issues for years. After only a couple sessions, my pain was gone and my breathing issues (we think now they were due to my body being so out of line therefor being unable to inhale fully) have totally subsided. I finished my ten-series months ago but still go for maintenance appointments because I believe so strongly in the benefits. I have been to doctors, chiropractors, and PT but ROLFing with Rachel has been the most beneficial, hands down.

For over 7 yrs now , I have been struggling with not feeling right inside.
Just crooked and so uncomfortable in my body, even after many treatments. I was referred by a great friend to Rachel, and she understood ME! Now, being 1/2 way through the series, I finally feel my body coming together and working together, like my legs, hips, ribs, feet & arms.
It's hard to put into words, when your body is feeling like all the parts are
not working against each other , Pure Happiness!!

Rachel is an absolutely amazing person and Rolfing practitioner. I'm thrilled with the results I get from our sessions. She has an infectious personality and an incredible outlook on life. I would highly recommend her to anyone !!

I injured my lower back/hip during a CrossFit workout and had decreased range of motion and shooting pain, and wasn’t able to workout. This was my first experience with ROLFing. It’s not only a physical but emotional experience. I only knew one other person who completed a 10 series, yet remained opened to my own. Rachel was who I saw. She is intuitive, kind hearted and she provided a safe and comfortable environment and was open to me sharing any feelings I had in my body, which allowed me to release or become aware of parts that needed tending to. Going through the 10 series I was able to find more relief, range of motion than when I saw a chiropractor and massage therapist, which I believe was necessary to get me to seek a ROLFer. Rachel’s presence is warm and inviting and I am so grateful to have met her.
If you have any doubts try it for yourself! Highly recommend!

OMG! Rachel is a miracle worker. Me serving many years in the armed forces and law enforcement did break my body but I’ve done three sessions with Rachel so far and I can say that I can almost jump out of bed every morning with any struggles. My body went from really bad to almost good. I’m absolutely grateful!
Brittany Relyea
Rachel is such a blessing! I can’t express enough gratitude for how much she has helped me. I finally feel good in my body again! I was in so much pain when I started seeing her. She is so knowledgable and in tune with body structure. I can not recommend Rachel enough!

Remember when you were a kid and you'd run forever then would suddenly trip and fall but just jumped right back up to continue running anyway? Well, that's what it felt like to me after a few sessions with Greg. If only I hadn't had a stroke 15 years ago that lead to my semi paresis, I'd probably start training for a marathon. But unfortunately my body isn't able to right now. The right side of my body is weak. My right hand is completely atrophied, my elbow is less atrophied but unable to be straight anymore, and I walk with my right foot dropping and am unable to keep it straight without shooting pain on my calf. Then after my sessions with Greg my foot is straight and painless as I walk. My elbow is straight and I can actually move a few of my fingers. As he managed to improve my range of motion, he's also managed to improve my neck and back pain substantially from over using my able arm. It's amazing. I'm hopeful again. I recommend Greg to everyone, whether you're in pain or not! The man is a miracle worker, freal.

When I first arrived at Bodywork Architecture in the old mill building I was breaking down and I hadn't found anyone that could help me push through a wall of hurt, pain, discomfort, and arguably a bit of paralysis in some areas. Things just "didn't move there anymore.nope". I had past injuries from sports, never quite the same, major life stuff, and then a broken neck that completely threw my body into chaos.
I've been with Greg now 6 months. My son has been with Greg 3 months. My daughter works with Rachel Rubin, also Bodywork Architecture.
The work he does is intentional and precise and necessary. Yes, it's an investment, but I think of ALL the money and time spent on every type of doctor or healer I could find to help me. All of what could have been saved if I'd found Rolfing first. Bodywork architecture has helped me and my family immensely and I hope by seeing this review you find Greg and the Rolfing practice before I did. You have a life to get back to. This was my way back.

When I started the journey of rolfing, I did not realize how much I needed it in my life. Only talking to Greg for five minutes and you know this is going to be more than just a physical experience. Greg and his wisdom of Rolfing have done wonders not only physically but also mentally for myself. Every session I go in open minded and excited for the work that is about to be done. As soon as my first session ended my closed off shoulders were wide open and I had more range of motion than I knew I was missing. Post session 5 and continuing to be excited for each. Each session has shown me so much about myself I was blind to and it has been amazing to see the daily changes even after Greg's part is done. I can not wait to see how I improve by session 10 and beyond.

I saw Greg for a hip injury from skiing - I had been to two physical therapists over a year and half but was still struggling with pain and limitations from the injury. Greg was amazing - he fixed my hip after one session, and the pain/limitations disappeared (I went through the entire 10-session series, but the pain relief was immediate). I slept better, was able to start running again, and felt better overall. If you are struggling with pain/injury or just want a better aligned body, I would recommend the investment!

Intro--Greg Garcia @ Bodywork Architectures came highly recommended in mid 2021
For reference--34M in the midst of shaping their integrated health service model. I recently completed the Rolfing Ten-Series along with 5 tune-up sessions w/ Greg Garcia.
In my opinion--Greg operates from a deeply rooted respect for Ida Rolf. Every session of the ten series in their traditional form was incredibly productive, insightful, and inspiring. Each session helped awaken and align my structure while moving towards integration and an overall sense of feeling grounded in one's well being. Speaking specifically from my sessions the additional tune-up appointments were where the depth of Greg's profound skill as a Rolfer & healer were on full display. Greg is a game changer.
Greg's balance, his intuitiveness as a healer, and his compassion for the essence of life will seamlessly encourage each of your bodywork sessions to be better than the last. My case is complex but after even my 1st session it was clear to me that Structural Integration with Greg would benefit nearly everyone, especially youth and professional athletes focusing on performance, recovery, and longevity in their respective discipline(s).
Arriving at Bodywork Architectures, the focus is always quite clear and you quickly realize it as a destination rather than a casual stop on your journey to optimal wellness and spiritual growth.

I started with Greg in the Fall, I was 8 sessions in and then ruptured my ACL in November. To be honest, I was devastated. Greg pushed me to challenge my physician when I couldn’t get an MRI because they thought I was fine. He also helped me stay out of pain while I was waiting for a surgery date. I had surgery in Feb and Greg consistently checked in with me about my surgery and post surgery. As soon as I could walk, I was back on Greg’s table for session 1 again. I can’t explain how instrumental Greg has been and continues to be in my ACL recovery. My entire body structure has changed in the best way possible. I have reached so many PT benchmarks ahead of time and have never felt better. We have continued with advanced work and I cannot say enough how grateful I am to have such a wonderful person in my corner. If you are looking for someone to change your life exponentially, look no further. Greg is the only person I trust with my body and I am forever grateful for the work!

Before seeing Greg I had whole body aches and pains. I also slipped and fell on ice in February and injured my neck. After doing PT for my neck it wasn't getting better. That's what brought me to try rolfing, if I never fell I might not have ever started doing the series of sessions. Now post session 7 I wish I had started years ago! I was skeptical at first because I didn't know much about rolfing. Greg is great at explaining what he is doing and what is going on with your body. The sessions are intense in some spots for me where I'm the most tight but everyone will have a different experience.
After session 1 I felt instant relief in my neck and shoulders. My shoulders felt a lot more relaxed and I could move my neck easier without pain. I was AMAZED on how quick the change was and how it actually helped. I couldn't wait to do all 10 sessions!
Each session I have felt better and better. Just finishing session 7 where Greg does inside your mouth work and nasal work. The mouth work was the most intense part of all the sessions so far but when I left I could open my mouth wider without popping and grinding in my jaw. I could also breathe better after the nasal work. I couldn't believe it! Now after 7 sessions I don't have knee pain like I used to, I can actually get through a day of work without my knee hurting. I feel like my feet are more level to the ground and my shoulders aren't elevated like they used to be. Now I feel like I can do much more physical activity that I haven't been able to do in years.
On top of the amazing whole body work Greg does he is a very professional, highly skilled, overall cool guy. He is very easy to ask questions to and is a very interesting person to talk to while he is doing the sessions. I would recommend Greg to everybody who has any kind of body pain or previous injury. Thank you Greg for everything!

Greg is a master at what he does and I'll recommend him to anyone who's looking for fascial release work or Structural Integration. So far I've completed 6 sessions with him and always leave feeling much more relaxed then when I arrived. The tension I hold everywhere in my body just disappears during a Rolfing session. I'm looking forward to continued progress in sessions 7-10.
Julia Luckett
I'm on session #7 and I cannot say enough good things about Greg and his wholistic philosophy towards healing the body. I had an extremely complex jaw surgery 2.5 years ago that was very successful, but my healing seemed to reach a ceiling, and then not progress any further. I have been seeing chiropractors, PTs, massage therapists & more my whole life and yet I have continued to have pain and discomfort. 7 sessions in with Greg and he has made more positive *long-lasting* changes to my body than years of work with other bodywork professionals.
UPDATE: 1 year later and I have only gained more respect for the deep healing work Greg provides. I now come in for tune ups. Some chronic pain and muscle spasms that I lived in constant fear of experiencing for 5-10 years have completely vanished from my life. For example, I would very often have back spasms that would make my work extremely difficult - those spasms literally don’t happen anymore. Worth the investment 1000x over.

I am post session 7 and I have had immense progress! I am a healthy 22 year old and I started this structural alignment mainly for preventative measures. After just a few sessions I immediately felt more range of motion and flexibility in my body. My legs were always injury prone because they were really tight and no amount of stretching yielded any longterm progress. Rolfing immediately improved on this issue and weeks after it has remained "fixed". I was told that post session 7 is the 50% mark meaning their is still a whole lot more progress to be made in the next three sessions. As a whole, my body naturally feels stronger and my posture has improved. AND my favorite part is that my throat area has seemingly loosened and I feel that it is easier to speak and sing.

The day I basically crawled into Greg’s practice was a game changer! I had an old back injury that despite 3xs a week Chiropractor adjustments, and bi-weekly massages, and Physical Therapy, my herniated disc L5-S1 was still affecting my quality of life! After the first session I was optimistic that Greg might be helpful, by session 5, I was convinced he was the best voodoo magic I had seen! However I found myself doing more and even ended up throwing my back out again while horseback riding. However before I met Greg it was almost impossible for me to think about riding. I had a moment where I was panicking that maybe this wasn’t going to work either. Greg yet again with his knowledge and encouragement to have me finish the 10 sessions lead me to feeling better than I had in years! I started in February and completed my sessions in middle of March. I’ve been riding and running, and I’ve not been in pain at all! He’s helped my riding improve and his knowledge of his practice has shown me that he can align my body to be so effective from swimming laps in pools, running and horseback riding! I’m so glad I trusted him! I’m forever grateful for his work as it has allowed me to return to living my life fully every day!! He’s now part of my regime that helps keep my body working and improving!! I highly recommend him!

It's been a few months since session 10, and I couldn't be happier. I've had scoliosis and back pain for my entire life, as well as poor alignment between my knees and feet. Greg was able to essentially reverse the curvature of my spine, and for the first time now I can effortlessly hold my posture upright. I didn't quite know how much discomfort I was in because I had never lived without it, I didn't know I could feel this good.
The real testament to Greg's work is how much change he enables to happen in the months after the 10 sessions. I'm about two inches taller now, fully upright, and my knees and feet are pretty close to pointing in the same direction (so much better then before). It's no exaggeration to say that this has been life changing for me, I really wish I took some before and after pictures. My whole family has gone through the sessions with their various ailments, and it's just awesome to see the changes in everyone. Can't thank him enough for his work, I would recommend him to anyone.

I’m 13 years old and post session 6. I have had structural issues my whole life and nothing has given results anything close to rolfing. I have done PT, chiropractic, etc. Rolfing with Greg is now by far the first thing that I would recommend to someone with anything having to do with the body. Greg has fixed things that I didn’t even know functioned wrong. I had a compressed airway and there were thoughts of surgery. In 6 sessions I can now breathe better then I ever have in my entire life. I keep thinking after every session “what more could feel better and get fixed?” and every session my whole body unlocks more and feels looser. I was told to come to Greg by my orthodontist for my jaw but it has improved so many other aspects of my life.
Christine Germano
Working with Greg has been great! I had been worried that Rolfing would be too intense, and I had put off trying it despite having had Greg recommended to me by several people. Now, I'm post session 7 and my body feels better than it ever has. My range of motion has increased, old injuries are being helped, and I'm moving with greater ease and lightness than I have ever experienced. I'm so glad to have started this work with Greg and appreciate the special caring and skill that he brings to working with his clients.

This review is 2 years overdue. Greg has been instrumental in my ability to get back into daily life, the gym without being in constant pain or wondering when the next back flare up would be. I sought him out after my trainer had notice some imbalances in my general stance and limitations in the gym. It is a complete full body approach based on functionality that unfortunately cannot always be found in modern day medicine. I wish I would have started seeing him starting out as an athlete. I would recommend anyone, any age with any level of pain, or just as general care for your body!
Rachel Rubin
Post 10-series, I still intensely feel the physical and emotional shifts Greg has inspired via Structural Integration. There is absolutely no alternative to the pain relief I’ve experienced with this work.
Greg has been my lighthouse, my shining reminder to live more ‘in line’ with my authentic self. He’s guided my chaos with open arms and created the most beautiful, safe space to show up and do some shining of my own.
Eternally grateful for Greg and Bodywork Architectures.

I first heard about ROLF-ing through a friend of mine who invited me over to watch her session one with Greg. She told me I had to come over and hear about this technique, to watch her session one, then decide for myself if I wanted to try it.
Well after hearing Greg speak about the goals of ROLF-ing, and after observing my friends body physically change just in one session I was sold. I made my first appointment with Greg and the next night I had my session one.
I am seven sessions into my treatment and I have had an incredible experience. Each session leaves me feeling more balanced, elevated and looking forward to the next session. Greg is a competent, intuitive and compassionate body worker. He truest cares for each client, and their body.
I would recommend this 10 series to anyone who is ready for real change to occur in their body. There are some intense moments but it is well worth it. If you're curious, book session one. You won't regret it.

My teenaged son, a ballet dancer, recently completed his series of sessions with Greg. It was an incredible process to witness. From the first few minutes, Greg saw both my son's restrictions and potential. He had lived with daily knee pain that took away from his dancing and limited enjoying everyday activities and work. Nearly all the pain has been resolved, his body and limbs have lengthened and found ease, and he is able to move again with freedom and joy.
Greg's focus and attention in the sessions is noteworthy. He brings a wealth of experience and training to his work but is also ever-present to the individual. Greg took a lot of care to speak with my son about listening to his body and how to stay true to his good health in a physically demanding pursuit. Greg offered him a life-changing alternative to the "tough it out/ pain is gain" myth. I would highly recommend Greg to the parents of any young person.

I am writing this review after completing session #3 with Greg. After having having regular deep tissue massage for the last 3 years I am amazed at the difference I feel after only three sessions! I am noticing a significant decrease in the degree to which I experience pain in my feet, ankles, and lower legs when walking long distances. I also feel more connected to and aware of my muscles and how my body moves. I am really looking forward to how I feel at the end of the full series!
Hutton Dart
I am post session 10. This work has been transformative! Greg is a knowledgeable one of a kind practitioner! In just months I went from feeling like I was living in a body that was a prison to waking up to the freedom of life without pain! My list of injuries and issues could have filled a notebook and are now mostly forgotten. All of my physical activities are easier. My flexibility is greatly improved. I honestly have never felt this good.
If u have sciatica, back pain, neck pain, TMJ, whatever, run walk or hobble as I did to get this done!
Gabby Freeman
Post session 5 and am already experiencing major improvements from where I was a couple months ago. Before I started working with Greg, I was suffering from a frozen hip & lower back pain which was limiting my ability to exercise, sit for extended periods of time, sleep, and the source of a lot of anxiety. At it's worst, my injury and misalignment had worked its way up to my face and was causing my jaw to move involuntarily. Since working with Greg, I'm started to see results that PT, massage, and even seeing an orthopedic surgeon failed to achieve. My hip is finally starting to move again and releasing years of stiffness and tension. If you're like me and have been dealing with daily pain caused by injury or misalignment - Greg's your man. Do yourself a favor and let him help your body start down the path to health and alignment.
Patricia Desautels
Greg has significantly improved my body architecture. I went to him for three issues: a neck pull that I had for over 6 months; a constant lower back twinge and a dysfunctional jaw. I'm happy to say that my neck is 90% improved; my back pain is gone and I can now eat a sub without having to take three tries to get my mouth wide enough to take a bite!!! If you are suffering from a chronic or acute condition, I would highly recommend that you give him a call. If you are contemplating surgery, try a kinder and gentler approach first.
Stephen Burkert
I am post session # 3 and I already feel a new function and understanding of balance in my body. Prior to my sessions, I had been putting off dealing with a longstanding backache, that was occasionally involving my neck, and also irritating my knee. I had tried to treat each area individually, which gave some benefits, but was frustrated with the inability to completely resolve each issue. I came into Bodywork Architectures without a clear understanding of the work they do, or any expectations to have. The treatments and the results have reoriented my mind to limitations I was unaware of, and possibilities I hadn't anticipated. Following each session I have noticed an increased ease, comfort, and efficiency of my own movements. This has helped me to focus better at work, sleep better at night, have better workouts, and play more with my kids. I am looking forward to continuing my journey and reaching a new potential that previously appeared unrealistic.
Updated: I am now post session # 7, and I continue to feel increased ease of movement including a sense of increased height and forward propulsion. I feel I am standing taller, and I find that walking forward has a more natural feel, although it never felt unnatural before. My long history of back pain has not been noticed since I started working with Bodywork Architectures, and I have noted an absence of clicking in my jaw and increased breath ability through my nose. I continue to feel increased ease of movement and am excited to see how my next few sessions go. Each session is pleasantly surprising to observe my own changes and improved abilities.
Updated: I finished my cycle of 10 sessions last week, and I continue to feel changes in the way I move, the way I feel, and the way I am able to workout. My levels and areas of discomfort have decreased, my movement feels more efficient, and I am able to exercise with increase weight as I feel stronger throughout my workout. I feel that I stand and move differently than when I first started. My wife has even commented on standing taller and looking more comfortable. Taking time and committing to having myself taken care of has brought me to a new level of ability and understanding of how my body can better work during everyday life. I look forward to continuing to have changes occur overtime and I am increasing aware of my body movements. Having treatment with Bodywork Architectures has been an enlightening experience and my mind and body are both grateful for the work that has been done.

I had been Rolfed previously, having done the 10 sessions about 20 years ago and I have always been sold on the technique. However, not all Rolfers are the same. I have tried various other people with ok results but Greg has totally restored my trust in the practice of Rolfing! I recently completed all 10 sessions and i am, as they say, a new woman!
As a tennis player, I have had shoulder issues for the past few years. I went on and off to P. T. for 6 months with minor success. After just a few sessions with Greg, my posture was better and my shoulder no longer hurt. I think P.T. can be great, but sometimes, you just need to get realigned to let your body heal and stop hurting. My hips feel much much better as well. I couldn't be happier with the results.
One last comment... I did not find the Rolfing sessions to be overly painful. One might experience a few minutes of discomfort, but the full sessions are generally relaxing and you feel so much better when it is done, that it is easy to forget any discomfort! Greg does a great job and knows what he is doing.
Jeffrey Wettstein
Post session 6 - Prior to my first six sessions with Greg, my days were centered around managing body pain. After sessions 6, I spend much less time in pain which lets me do the things I love without concern. Looking forward to finishing the 10 series and continuing the amazing progress I've had so far.

Greg is a magician! His understanding of the structure of the body and his ability to change it is spooky (in a good way!). I have been to several rolfers and believe me he is the best there is! Don't make the mistake of going to the other guys in town because you are just wasting your time and money. The improvements Greg has made in my body and posture are astounding...and best of all the changes have stayed! I've been to massage therapists, chiropractors, naturopaths and traditional physical therapy and nothing works and permanently changes my body like (Greg's) rolfing. It is truly revolutionary what rolfing can do for people and the best practitioners like Greg have "the touch" and artistry to maximize it's benefits. Besides the physical healing he provides, Greg is like a life coach: positive, funny, intelligent, dedicated to his clients and passionate about improving people's lives. It takes physical and emotional work to go through the process and he is there to help you through it. There were many times when I doubted the process, but Greg encouraged me to keep going through the sessions and just as he promised, we got deeper and deeper into the structure and major improvements started to happen. My advice to all new clients is to trust the process, which means go through the entire 10-series plus the advanced work (if needed) before judging if it did enough for you. You will see immediate results even from your first session, but it may take until after all 10 sessions to see the most change. I just wish I had found Greg sooner and started rolfing years ago!
Brittany Robertson
Greg does an amazing job! I am a former athlete and I use to go through so much pain in my knees and feet while playing basketball. I am only post session 3 and I am already feeling a huge difference in my body! I highly recommend!

It’s such a relief when someone can relieve your child’s pain! My daughter is a musician that came to Greg after suffering from tendinitis for 2+ months. Everything hurt her - from brushing her teeth to opening a door. And most important to her - she couldn’t play her fiddle! After the very first visit with Greg, she was out of pain. The results have continued to be astonishing after every session since then. She is post session 6 and feels like she has a whole new body! I highly recommend Greg - he works wonders!
Lauren Leebove
Every time I work with Greg I am amazed by the instant feeling of lightness and rebalance I feel throughout my body. He is incredibly knowledgeable, comforting, and truly passionate about his work. This practice is much more than just a massage or physical therapy. He does not tell the body how to heal- he has a conversation with the body and offers it the space it needs to settle into and free itself- FOR GOOD!
Anybody who has struggled with pain or misalignment of any sort in their body would benefit from Rolfing- and Greg is without a doubt an expert. He works from a very intuitive place, which lends itself to a peaceful and genuine experience. He is trustworthy, and is guiding me to a more enjoyable embodiment. I highly recommend working with him.

I came to Bodywork Architectures due to a full body pain which had compounded over time. Continual stiffness and the dull aches began slowly affecting my day to day routines: bike commutes to and from work, my sleep, and over all energy levels. During my first appointment, I was floored with how the single session he removed the pain and stiffness through adjustments to my upper my back and extremities. I was previously unable to move with my full range of motion through stiffness and lethargy. That night I had one of the most complete and well rested sleep that I have seen in months since the pain began. I booked my second appointment for the following day, where the lower half was worked on. Greg spotted my issue areas and treated misalignments I didn't realize I had; until I felt better immediately after. He applies the right amount of pressure to get the job done and keep the client feeling comfortably and relaxed. Mr. Garcia is very professional and each session is jointly run like a class. He explains in detail not only what is being treated, but how it relates to the system as a whole. You leave each session more physically aware of your own body with every step you take. I recommend this service to whomever is considering treatment, and have already recommended Bodyworks Architecture to both colleagues and staff at my local Gym for anyone who may need it.

I am so fortunate to have met Greg! He has changed my life in so many ways. After living in constant pain and discomfort for over 2 decades I was ready to try something new. Greg alleviated pain, brought alignment to my body and aided in correcting my posture and movement. He was very attentive and specific to my personal needs and areas that required extra attention. I sleep better and have an overall more quality life. Thank you Greg for bringing change to my body, and most importantly, for giving me hope again.

Greg Garcia is a bodywork genius.
His training is in Ida Rolf's traditional Structural Integration
which is now unfortunately a rare training (this has to change).
I came to Greg with a range of physical problems induced from 40 years
of very competitive sports of all kinds
(a few examples: Australian rules football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, running, triathlon).
What seemed to be a tibial stress fracture had put me out of action for over half a year
and I was reduced to walking with a cane and using a boot.
The pain was constant and teeth grinding
and interfered with sleep.
No one could identify the problem (PTs, orthopaedic surgeons). An MRI seemed to show nothing.
Greg immediately saw the tibia as being rotated (the knee has an old ACL reconstruction which probably didn't help).
In only three or four out of ten sessions, and using only part of those sessions, he was able to
completely eliminate the pain by rotating the fascia.
I had a raft of other problems that the ten sessions either mostly undid or greatly reduced
including constant soreness throughout my upper body.
Because of general injuries and a decades-long back problems (complicate by congenital issues),
I have tried many, many treatment modalities over the years, everything I could find really.
I have learned a great deal about the body and developed a dangerous level
of self-knowledge (I can certainly fix some of my own problems).
I can say that nothing comes remotely close to Rolfing.
Before finding Greg, I fully knew that a good Rolfer can utterly transform the body.
I have had one long term Rolfer before and they were able to save my back over
a period of several years' work.
But they had moved away, and I was unable to find a comparable person.
I was utterly desperate by the time I came to see Greg and the first session
showed me I was in the right place. And that there was hope.
It's crucial to do the ten. I hadn't gone through it properly before
but it's the right thing to do. The 7th session, where the head and neck are
finally sorted out, is truly spectacular.
There is no way I would have been able to recover without the techniques
of Structural Integration in the hands of someone like Greg.
Greg is youngin a few decades, I can't imagine how good he will be.

I wish I had found something like Bodywork Architectures a long time ago when I was a competitive athlete. Even when I began playing sports as a kid, my structural issues were already present/developing, and this technique would have made a world of difference. My feet have overpronated for most of my life, and I have found sitting up straight noticeably difficult since middle school. In high school, shin splints stopped me from running competitively. In college, I cross-country skied for a DI school, and once again, injury (this time, shin splints and a very painful, recurring rib injury that received various, inconsistent diagnoses and treatments) eventually forced me to stop. I was told that, to continue skiing without pain, I would need to have surgery to remove my rib or receive periodic injections to the affected area to numb the pain. I had lost a lot of hope at that point, but I also thought that most of these problems were normal. I also believed that I would be living with these issues for the rest of my life, so I adjusted my expectations and slowly began cutting out the activities and sports I enjoy to accommodate all my “injuries”.
The change Bodywork Architectures has made has been absolutely incredible. I never would have expected that my body could improve so much. After the first session, I was an inch taller (!!) and could hold myself upright without trying. I once caught a glance of myself in the mirror and thought for a split-second that I was looking at another person because my structure looked so different. Session two left me feeling lighter and looser than ever before. I am still amazed that Greg could transform so much of my structure in so little time. A few days after my third session, I ran for the first time and WOW!! I think I ran properly for the first time (in my life..?), and I felt so fast! I’ve never been able to run on my mid/front foot before, but it felt right and super springy. I tried to keep the pace slow, but my body really wanted to run fast, and I could do it so much more easily. Now, my legs are really sore because I used muscles I haven’t in a long time (or at least in a different way). For the first time, I felt like my muscles worked to move me forward. My feet are not overpronating, and my shins did not hurt (and I imagine that they will not in the future). My rib issues are connected to my back issues, which have improved immensely now that I can sit and stand upright with no effort (there are pictures on Google of me skiing that really show how bad things were...). And, all of the changes from these sessions have stayed with me. My body is continuing to change for the better between sessions as I continue living and moving.
I stopped thinking of myself as a runner a while ago and am not as in shape for running as I used to be, but I am so excited to see where I could go now. The change to my structure has really shown me how hard both running and moving in general were for me before. And I wonder how much faster I could be (running, skiing, or whatever!) when I am actually training.
I hope that writing this review will encourage others with similar experiences to try this method. Greg has made me hopeful again about what I can do and where I can go. I am so excited to see what changes the rest of the series will bring!
***Post-series update: After having done all 10 sessions and a couple tune-up sessions, I am farther along than I ever could have imagined. Somehow, after most sessions, I could not imagine any further improvement because I felt so much better (and had a similar degree of improvement each time); yet, every time I came back, Greg was able to fix something else. For me, this felt like letting out a huge breath and relaxing without even knowing what I was holding in. Now, I feel more vibrant in general because I am more connected to how my body feels. Before all my sessions, everything took so much effort (not just exercise). Now, I feel like I float. It's an incredible feeling. I feel like the athlete and person I should have been a while ago!

Every time I step into Greg's work place, everything seems to be cleared from my mind almost immediately. This type of bodywork is beyond fascinating to me and can have very powerful affects, if you are completely on board with it.
What I love most about Greg's work, is that he is genuinely interested in everyone's health and well-being, which really motivates me to attend his sessions.
I have learned much more about the body in only 3 sessions, then from what I have learned in my entire lifetime. Greg is always making the most out of each visit and he is never hesitant to answer any questions that I might have for him. Greg really strives to make everyone's lives better and more balanced and each session I see more and more of that.
I highly recommend to come check out Greg and his work at Bodywork Architectures! No matter what state your body may be in, there is always something you can improve.

I just finished Session 3 with Greg yesterday, and the experience has completely shaken my perception of the body!
As always, my current schedule includes lots of activity - daily yoga practice, and lots of dance with a performing company. About a month ago, I suffered a calf strain. I self-healed it 2x, but somehow I knew things just weren't right. I wondered if this problem was also related to the pain in my hip I was experiencing when hiking with my kids - even for short distances. I wondered if all of this was just a fact of life - getting older.
Enter Greg. Last week, I decided to follow up on the advice of a friend to go see Greg and do the SI work. The process is brand new to me, so my understanding is limited, but the sensations that have resulted from the first 3 sessions are so powerful. so exciting!
Of course I have been running around to yoga and dance, trying to describe it to my friends. I have compared it to that feeling of having your tights, or a pair of pantyhose on, that is bunched up somewhere; and how freeing it feels when you get that bunched up knot straightened out. Another time, I told someone it felt like my body was of piece of sheet metal, like that of a car body, and Greg was working dents out of it. I described the funny sensations of my upper body twitching uncontrollably as Greg was working on a lower limb.
I got sessions 1 and 2 in before a long day of over 6 hours of intense physical activity. Even in the 6th hour, I was able to use my full range of motion. I did not get one foreboding feeling about that calf muscle possibly failing me. I told Greg it was as if he had put a new set of tires on my vehicle before I headed out on a cross-country trip. Without his help, I am certain that I would have had a blow-out this summer. And this is all just post session 3!
Already, I am beginning to see how imperative this SI work is to those who study classical dance technique (and yoga). It makes perfect sense to me now that Ida Rolf, the Grand Mother of SI, began her work in the 1950's with the dance community. There are physical rules of dance technique that I have grasped intellectually, but could not coax out of my body, no matter how hard I concentrated and sweated. After the first 2 SI sessions, some of the range of motion had opened up, allowing me to use my muscles in EXACTLY the prescribed method - without any more effort -in fact, somewhat spontaneously!! I am really excited to see how the subsequent sessions will affect my dance execution, yoga, hiking, everything!!!!
In summary, Greg is an adept student of a technique that not only respects the body, but gives the body's innate ability to heal itself the central role. Like the doctors I have seen in the past, Greg is not concerned with exactly how a specific injury came to be. However his approach to fixing the injury could not be more different. Instead of giving me drugs or performing surgery on a specific isolated site, Greg carefully follows a methodical process with the faith of a saint that addresses the body as a whole, complete, and ingeniously designed system that mere mortals have yet to fully comprehend. I think that there is a certain amount of humility that is required of a person in order to carry out the SI work authentically. Greg seems to have that, and I think that is rare - the balance of ability and humility.

I recommend for anyone who feels limited from enjoying life because their body isn’t the same as it once was. If you wish to be more active or be able to move I would recommend Bodywork Architectures. Feel freedom from old injuries or long forgotten hurts as Greg works to free long restricted muscles creating a greater range of motion through all your joints.

Greg is a master Rolfer. I have been Rolfed on and off for more than 20 years. It is a brilliant technique to remain strong and fit, when it is done well. Greg is the best Rolfer I have ever had. I have done the 10 series with him twice now over the past 3 years. I highly recommend.

Going into my first session I was skeptical because my mom had told me that rolfing was "very intense" and I should be careful. The anxiety around that unsolicited advice was a little overwhelming, but not being someone who avoids doing things out of fear, I went through with the session as planned. Greg is great at explaining the kind of work he does, and helped ease my anxiety right off the bat. While receiving the body work it was not like going to the PT or getting a massage, but rather something sort of in the middle -- it was less relaxing than a massage in the moment but more passive than going to PT. Still it was not uncomfortable; it felt good and at moments I felt major tensions release. When I got home from the session I felt very tired and heavy, and the day after I was quite sore in my shoulder blades where I imagine I've held a lot of tension in the past. My arms felt super flexible and loose after the work (almost plastic, in the "pliable" sense of the word), even with the soreness I experienced. They swing much more fluidly and evenly when I walk. Now, that a few days have gone by and the soreness has subsided, so has my anxiety about rolfing. Compared to other bodywork I've received, it is intense, but I can see its benefit and believe it will pay off in the end.

If you are looking for Rolfing Structural Integration work, Bodywork Architectures is where you should go. Greg is a passionate practitioner who will meet you where you and your body are at. He is both professional and passionate. Greg makes sure you are comfortable and understand every step of the process, working with you and your body to get back to a place of comfort. I have completed the ten sessions and continue to receive additional support with Bodywork Architectures.

I have suffered back pain for a while now and I also have had trouble sleeping. I was referred to Greg from a friend and I immediately felt positive changes. I have since finished the 10 courses and I sleep much better. It used to be a chore to tie my shoelaces, but now I am no longer in pain.
Many thanks Greg. I look forward to future sessions.

I'm sad my 10 sessions are over. There was no pressure to complete them within any time frame, so I took months to do so. I received valuable and lasting results from each session. Greg is an interesting person, a well-schooled, good-natured, physically strong, and intuitive practitioner, and I think Ida Rolf would be proud.

I am now post session 8, and I could write a very lengthy list of all that Greg has done for this 75-year old body. I walked in injured with four dislocated bones and muscles frozen or half frozen all over the place. Greg painlessly put the dislocated bones back in place as he worked on fascia. Now I have the body of a 25-year old. All the injuries are healed (some of them were incurred years ago), and now I walk and run like a child. I'm off the Ibupofren! I'm strong. I'm limber. I just feel great. I am at least one inch taller. Nice to look down on the world a bit! I'm also a ballet dancer (yes, anyone of any age can dance if motivated) and I dance with Farm to Ballet in Vermont. Thanks to Greg and SI, I am progressing much faster in ballet classes than before because now my body can do what it needs to do. Without pain or protest. Did I mention the much better breathing and sleep?

Greg is knowledgeable and personable. He stays true to the teachings of Ida Rolf, which I appreciate! Definitely recommend him to anyone looking to find more ease and relief from chronic pain in their body.

Post 10 series. Can truely say that it was an incredible and changing experience. Cliche right? Maybe for a google review. But for real, physical and internal differences were noticed. Major, MAJOR one would be walking. It wasn't noticeable right away but all of a sudden I was just like "whoa that never felt like this" me having aggressive ankle rolls from playing so much basketball, I was always an super aware of my feet/legs how they feel. Now they feel so incredible it's almost unbelievable. Im so happy I went through these sessions, I know the feeling it gave me and the way my body reacted through it. So appreciative.

I had knee pain for years from running and the military. I went to Greg, and I have absolutely no pain anywhere. My run time has increased, and so has my flexibility. I highly recommend this care before going anywhere else.
