I’ve been seeing Dr. Young for years, but today I had a visit that reminded me why she is absolutely the best at what she does, and why I will always keep coming back to her as my favorite dermatologist. At a somewhat unexpected/unplanned visit, I was immediately greeted by her staff as usual, with the warmest of welcomes like I just came home for Thanksgiving dinner. Once in the exam room, Dr. Young arrived promptly with her usual smile and amazing sense of humor. We caught up (as you would with family), she listened to my needs, provided some immediate recommendations and treatment, and sent me away with more useful information than I could ever get from hours of perusing the interwebs or messaging back and forth with my normal primary care physician. Not only does Dr. Young always do what’s right, she does it with a sense of compassion and urgency that you just can’t find everywhere these days. Also her staff….. top notch. I wish I were a medical provider so I could try to poach them from her ;)

Doctor Young is very knowledge in her field and she treats her patients with a lot of patience. But the team and billing process was not so great. I visited Dr. Young last Friday and I was charged $424 for three prescriptions! And it was just regular medications for acne and eczema, nothing complex. When I called the office and questioned why it was so expensive, they told me I can actually go to a coupon pharmacy and get the same medication for only $65. So why did not you tell me this EARLIER when you know I could pay WAYYY LESS if I use a coupon? Feel like I'm overpaying which is totally unnecessary.

Literally the best dermatologist experience I have ever had! I've been dealing with acne for a decade and usually when I go to a dermatologist they glance at my face, and just prescribe me a few things. Dr. Young took the time to really investigate the source of my acne and did a full body exam and noticed other issues going on that no one else had even bothered to look at. She sat with me explained the full regiment she wants me to do with detail and made it a safe environment to ask questions. I'm looking forward to starting my routine and seeing her again!

I came to see Dr. Young for a perioral dermatitis rash that had not gone away for 6 months. She immediately identified the issue and made sure to explain everything about the causes, symptoms and treatment options. She addressed all of my concerns and also identified a separate skin issue (rosacea) which she also gave me products for. It was clear that she was very knowledgeable and I would definitely see her again. She did not try to sell me any products or procedures that were unnecessary and she also checked what my insurance covers and provided alternative pharmacies that had better prices for the medications that I needed.
