Dr Claiborne is a good doctor. He is knowledgeable, experienced, funny, and naturally nawlins. The only problem I have is, if there is an emergency who do the patients let know they won't be able to make it? There is no message center after hours. Then when you do call to let them know you won't make the appointment, the doctor don't get the message and he gets upset with the patient. He is not rude or loud, but he will matter of factly tell you to let them know if you can't make the appointment (by calling).

I have to say I am very impressed with MD Claiborne & Associates. My last experience at a dermatologist was not very pleasant. I went in with three different concerns and i felt that she just kind of blew them off. When speaking to Dr. Claiborne I was very surprised when i presented the same three concerns to him and he listened, and had solutions for every one. I was over the moon! The few things have been bothering me and i wanted to get them resolved for the past two years, but was dreading to find another doctor. I can't say enough about how pleased i am with my experience here. The staff is professional and super nice. Dr. Claiborne was straight forth and knowledgeable.. I was pretty nervous to have some of the procedures done, and he was very patient with me and calmed me down. Very thankful I found them!

Dr. W.C. Cole Clairborne is an amazing dermatologist. He is very knowlegable about dermatological conditions and treatments. On my first visit he diagnosed by skin condition within a couple of weeks drastic improvement was visible. I had been going to dermatologists since 1985 but to only be told I had hyperpigmentation. One dermatologist put tar over my skin problem, then put me in a tanning booth for 20 minutes. She was really a quake, and I went to her for years. I am African American. There is no way I should have been put in a tanning booth. I later found out that she wasn't board certified. Back to Dr. Clairborne, he is caring, communicated well to me what is wrong, how well I am making progress with my skin problem, and I most definitely am doing so thanks to him. His nursing staff is terrific as well. The front desk staff makes sure that you see the doctor within your scheduled allotted time. Dr. Clairborne should be voted best dermatologist in New Orleans, LA. Or Southeast, LA.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Claiborne for over 10 yrs now. He’s the only doctor that’s helped me with my psoriasis. I tell everyone about him. I love him. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. My appointments are always quick but VERY thorough. He takes his time and talks to you. But you’re also in and out. I’m always going right before work and I’ve never been late. I don’t have insurance but he’s very reasonable and he works with you. I highly recommend him.

I love Dr Claiborne. He has been my dermatologist for over 15 years I met him after visiting many other dermatologist’s who couldn’t figure out what the rash was on my chest. He knew exactly what it was. I have subacute lupus, which means skin lupus. He was a godsend for me as the longer the rash wasn’t treated the larger and more irritating the rash became. He put me on medication , which I took for several years and I haven’t had a problem since. I have continued to be a devoted patient as I can trust him. I recommend him and his staff highly.
