The staff are always very pleasant, the office operates very efficiently so appointment times are honored, but Dr. Gerdes is attentive, patient listens and is always engaged. She puts her patients care first always. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable and encouraging docs and staff at a quiet, convenient location - finally! I love the little touches around the office to cultivate a relaxing environment. The minimalist design and neutral colors of the new decor have a calming effect. The fresh iced lemon water was just what I needed to exhale and take my mind off the stressful reason I was at the doctor in the first place! It was quiet, and there was plenty of seating in the waiting area - even when it got a little busy. The location is easy to find - on the second floor of a tall office building on Causeway near 14th Street. There's plenty of parking and several elevators. I saw Dr. Charbonnet, and she was awesome! Not only was she the first to give me an accurate diagnosis, but I really appreciate that she was knowledgeable about how other conditions and medications affect my hair and skin. All the staff are pleasant, and my entire experience from making the appointment to checking out was positive and efficient. Although this was only my first visit, it was reassuring to see the relationships they have with other paients who've been going for years. I could tell that the Family Dermatology Specialists and staff really do treat patients like family.

Best service everytime!! No wait and Dr Charbonnet genuinely cares. For years I had scalp irritation and have visited several dermatologist that only prescribed shampoo for temporary relief. Dr Charbonnet has given proper diagnosis and treatment for my condition. I have been free and clear for 3years now. Side bar: This lady seems to look younger everytime I visit her😁

I’ve been with Dr. Charbonnet about 2 years. I just received a VP chemical peel from her. The staff is amazing and I feel like she really want to help me solve the problems that comes with having hormonal acne. I’m excited to see how my new skin looks in a week. I also have bad eczema (I know right), and she it also helping me find ways to not rip my skin to pieces and help with scarring.

My doctor was amazing. She is honestly the first doctor I’ve ever had that wants to aggressively treat my psoriasis. She genuinely showed that she cared about resolving my issue and I highly appreciate it. I honestly was so happy because I’ve been dealing with this for well over 10 years. And I’ve been to so many doctors that I’ve lost count. I had given up hope that I would be able to resolve this. But seeing how determined she is. I’m going to give it a go with her treatment plan and hope for the best.
