I love uptown dermatology. I went in for a small issue and my derm did not take advantage of my minimal skin knowledge to try to sell me any fancy prescription or product to treat my issue. She didn't talk down to me and explained the cause of my issue in a caring and informative manner and I left feeling positive.

Very efficient. I had a cyst removal here. The doctor saw me on time (which is rare compared to most clinics I’ve been). The procedure was done neatly and quickly. Stuff were friendly too.

There’s a lot of pseudoscience marketing in skincare and so the facial I got doubled as a skincare routine consult that clarified my enormous confusion - already using results from recommended products. The staff here does good work and is very knowledgeable. The facial is incredibly booked out for a reason, and worth the wait!

Staff have all been very professional and listen to my concerns well. I've been seeing a provider there for a few months now and have been treated respectfully and have no issues. Cost hasn't been an issue and my payments have been around $25 with Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance for anyone concerned about cost.

Just had a fabulous experience at Uptown Dermatology & Skin. I was referred to Rachel through a coworker. I saw her for a consultation for wrinkle prevention. She recommended a facial with microdermabrasion to start. The process was great! It was very relaxing with only a few brief moments of very, very minor discomfort. My skin already look so much better! I don't feel upsold at all, thought the pricing was fair, and am excited to begin the new skin care routine she recommended. Her knowledge, personality, and professionalism made all of the purchases comfortable. 10/10, would recommend :)

I have only great things to say about uptown dermatology. The staff are amazing always friendly and fun. Feels a lot like family. Always up front with what will help you in your skin care needs. They are extremely knowledgeable with everything that they do with their products and procedures. Just an amazing group of individuals. Ready to help with whatever you need. I would Recommend this place to anyone Who has skin care issues from scarring to acne. I have terrible scars, Joan has helped me so much. I saw Dr. Davis. She was efficient, professional, and very nice. I didn't feel rushed, even though the appointment went quite quickly (minimal wait time). She got to know me, removed a mole for biopsy and burned off a couple angiomas, and kept a chipper, upbeat conversation going with me and the nurse who assisted her. She and her nurse were also super clear about what followup I needed, what I may experience from the extraction, and overall left me feeling informed and well taken care of. I will definitely return.

Was referred to Dr. Davis by a friend and I was very satisfied with my consult after I had been diagnosed with a malignant melanoma on my back. I got an appointment the next day! The staff over the phone and at the front desk couldn’t be more accommodating and gracious. I'm always happy to recommend Uptown Dermatology and Skin Spa. My first experience was when I was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer. I was understandably concerned and upset, and the staff was very reassuring and supportive. My most recent visit was for my annual full body scan/skin cancer screening (with Nadine). I'm always welcomed and reassured. I have been treated with respect and educated about my skin issues. Thank you for your excellent care for many years now.

FANTASTIC service. I see Angie for skin checkups and she is incredible. She caught a mole-turned-melanoma on my first visit with her, then she listened to my concerns and removed a "textbook normal" mole that I was suspicious about and ended up being melanoma. I've been to other dermatologists who made a big fuss about cutting off moles that worried me (which later were found to have melanoma) and I'm so happy to have found a dermatologist who I can literally trust with my life. And one of the best parts is that they always call you on the phone with your test results, so if poor results come back you're already talking to your doctor about next steps and reassurances instead of sitting at home reading "worst-case scenarios" on the internet. Five stars, so pleased.

I’ve only been here once, so can’t speak to long term care. But from the scheduling to the end of the appointment, it all went very smoothly. The staff was all very kind and patient with my two small children. The office was very clean and professional looking. The PA I met with did a good job of talking through all the possible diagnoses with me. Based on other reviews I was honestly expecting something much worse. But I would definitely go there again!

I have had several moles removed and have never had any issues with insurance covering it. I always recommend this clinic to friends and family looking for a dermatologist in the metro.

I have never had such great care and it was so helpful for me considering I was so scared. His nurses were excellent as well. I called several times and Emily and Chad were caring and considerate. I just got the bill, and it was $1200 (reduced to $650 by the insurance company) for what I considered a pretty minor procedure. That's healthcare in the U.S.

Love this place!! I left my previous clinic because they weren’t able to treat me very efficiently and scheduling was difficult. Uptown Dermatology has awesome service, and they take the time to listen and answer any questions you might have. Scheduling is super fast and easy, and they validate 1/2hr of parking in the lot which is really convenient. It’s also a skin spa so I personally prefer the environment, it feels more relaxing than a doctors office ☺️ Would recommend for dermatology services!

These are a result of my overexposure to the sun as a very athletic youth playing tennis, biking, and swimming without sun protection. Dr. Baker is the most thorough dermatologist I have ever had and has saved me from many more serious problems and cancers because of her periodic and thorough full body examinations.

I had a Change in a skin lesion that needed the eye of a dermatologically trained professional. I could get an appt. within a day. The physician had a family emergency and I was able to see a physicians’ assistant. He was easily able to diagnose the situation and suggested removing the chronic lesion Which I had been treating with a steroid cream. In and out in 45 minutes.

I'll share my positive experience today at Uptown Dermatology because it is very contrary to other reviewer's experience. - Pleasant reception staff and welcome - Waited in lobby for 10 minutes before appt, 2 minutes in patient room for doctor - Very pleasant, patient, knowledgable, and reasonable doctor and nurse - Had a mole removed. No pain or discomfort. I didn't even realize when it was over.
