I was just in to see Allison Hoffman yesterday, December 22, 2020. I have been seeing Allison for over 10 years. She is awesome! She takes the time with you - never rushes through your appointment. I have had many different types of skin cancers, and she always found them early- thank goodness. I would highly recommend Allison Hoffman. I give her more that the 5 stars above.

Sort through the review history of many of the negative reviewers and you’ll get the impression they’re the kind of people who will always find something to be grumpy or miserly about. I spent two decades churning through dermatologists who could treat my severe atopic dermatitis. And none of them compare to Dr. Hoffman. Prior to being treated by Dr. Hoffman, most of my derm appointments consisted of being rushed and prescribed the same old treatment of steroids. I never felt listened to or understand. Dr. Hoffman actually listens to me - she never makes me feel like she is just rushing to get to her next patient. She also doesn’t prescribe treatments nonchalantly . I knew I found a great doctor when I didn’t walk away with steroid prescriptions my first visit. When it comes to the expensive medications I’ve actually needed, Dr. Hoffman has been really diligent about getting insurance companies to approve coverage for them. The rest of her staff, especially Camille, are really friendly. If you have severe atopic dermatitis/eczema, I highly recommend visiting this practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hoffman for 5 years. She has always been super professional, personable, and you can tell she takes her job and your health seriously. She takes the time to explain procedures when they are needed, and just does a great job overall. If you need a quality Doctor for dermatology, Dr. Hoffman is an excellent choice.

I have seen a number of Derm Doctors over the past 20 years primarily for pre-cancerous skin conditions. I started seeing Dr Hoffman about 15 years ago and continue to go to her for skin care. She is the most thorough Derm Doctor I have seen. Any skin condition that looks abnormal beyond the typical sun damaged pre-cancerous (AK) condition has been biopsied and sent to a lab for further analysis. I am called back within a week with lab results for further procedures if needed. I am 77 years old and for the most part ignored the use of sun screen when younger. However, with the PDT Light treatments I receive annually, people think I am much younger looking...thanks Dr Hoffman! Dr Hoffman and the staff at Mill City Dermatology are professional, caring and friendly. The billing is always accurate with no error or disputes. During this Covid season, they have taken extra care for sanitizing/cleaning the office environment. I feel very safe in their clinic. If you are looking for a Derm Doctor who truly cares about her patients, I highly recommend Dr Hoffman at Mill City Dermatology.

my experience was fantastic!! i am extremely grateful i found her. everyone on staff from the receptionist, nurse to dr. hoffman herself were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and kind!! the surgery itself was both painless and very professional!! dr. hoffman also did a double biopsy which left me with peace of mind. her follow up work was was extensive. i would highly recommend dr, hoffman to anyone!! sincerely mark tocci
