Johanna NowickiI have seen Dr. Kauls for probably 10 years. She is absolutely the best in the business and I’ve seen a ton of dermatologists that could never get my skin under control! She has helped get my acne under control, helped me with acne scarring, she is fantastic at Botox, she referred me to an endocrinologist when no other doctor would, and I am so appreciative of her knowledge and willingness to help me in any way she can! She has a patient for life with me. The reviews here that state she is cold and not willing to listen, are completely untrue. She is direct and honest, and I appreciate that. She is a GREAT doctor.

After some time the treatment wasn't working and the office began pushing very expensive products that were not part of the original treatment plan. I started to get the impression that they may have contracts with these skin companies and ultimately decided to find a different provider
Kayla WallaceAs someone with a lot of anxiety around anything doctor or needle related, Market Street Dermatology and Dr. Kauls made my visit extremely pleasant, easy and enjoyable. Right when you walk in it feels more like a spa than a medical clinic. The staff is professional and friendly. I was brought to a sunlight office with two large windows as opposed to a small windowless dark room like most doctor offices. When I started feeling a little panicky about getting a mole removed, Dr. Kauls was very empathetic and understanding and even did breathing exercises with me during the whole thing which ended up being very quick and virtually painless. My experience at Market Dermatology was amazing compared to other dermatologists and doctors I’ve been to in the Twin Cities. 10/10 would recommend!
Lynn EdwardsIf I were just reviewing the doctors or facilities it would be 5 stars. Dr. S is great and I’m so glad she was recommended to me. However, a huge part of visiting a clinic of any kind is who your first interactions are with when you get there. The woman at check in is rude EVERY time; as if it’s an inconvenience for her to check me in or answer any questions. The girl who’s usually at payment is very friendly, but why they keep the other one is beyond me. You work 4 days a week. Meditate or something. The nurses are also super condescending. Don’t talk to adults like they’re children. I’m pretty sure I know my body and skin better than you do as I live in it every day. Basically, if you can get past the first two passes of humans I highly recommended going here to see her. Again, she’s amazing. It’s just too bad they keep such terrible support staff.
judith walkerI have red hair and pink skin with eczema and have had skin problems my whole life. I am also an Internal Medicine doctor. So over my lifetime I have seen many dermatologists with a variety of skills. I have discovered Dr.Kauls who is the most skilled and knowledgeable of any I have encountered. I had a very rare inflammatory skin condition that had been misdiagnosed elsewhere. With her extensive training and experience she was able to diagnose it right away and put me on effective therapy.
She and Dr Scheuer both have wonderful personalities, knowledge, and empathy. You can’t go wrong.
KatherineEvery doctor should practice medicine as Dr. Scheuer does! She is compassionate, friendly, reassuring, confidence-inspiring in addition to providing excellent care (as far as I can tell - I haven't had concerns beyond skin cancer exams and miscellaneous rashes). Additionally, the staff is uniformly kind and professional, and the office is beautiful, clean, and well-run. Parking is free. I highly recommend Market Street Dermatology.

Jill FossDr. Kauls is amazing and and has always provided me with excellent patient care. Unlike other derm clinics in the metro, you can usually get appointments here in a timely matter. They also carry the best retail products. Clinic staff Amberly and Kimberly are absolutely delightful.
