Took my son, who is naturally always scared of Dr. Offices, ans were great with him. They made him feel comfortable and at ease. They walked him through proper treatments and assured him none of them were scary or hurt. He definitely felt better once he was talking to him. The front desk was exceptional as well. It was our first visit and she had everything ready for us to fill out and was nice and welcoming.

Dr Melissa Wise is a good doctor and the team at the office are nice, but Forefront has not been a great company to work with. I was recently charged over $300 (after processing through my insurance all for in-network providers) for a very small biopsy including a copay from a separate provider that I never met. When calling their billing department to seek an explanation I was told I should have asked for an estimate of charges before the service was performed. Had I known that I would be charged so much (over $700 before insurance) I never would have agreed to have this "small spot that is probably not anything to worry about" removed. I will continue to see Dr Wise but will definitely ask before any services are performed whether or not they fall within my copay that I pay to her at my time of visit or if I should expect a bill from another provider.

I was prescribed a medicine my insurance did not cover cost was $595. Walgreens called Monday and said they sent authorization papers to the doctor that day when it was denied (Monday). I called forefront Tuesday to verify the received and completed the papers and they said they did not. I requested they start the autorization process themselves and the secretary said she would add it to my patient summary. I then got a call Wednesday from forefront telling me to go to St Matthews pharmacy for the prescription because they do all the paperwork to get the medicine approved. I get a call Thursday from St Matthews to pick it up I inquired about the cost and they said I need to get an autorization. At this point it has been a week and forefront has not sent any papers to my insurance company in order for me to get my medicine. My visit there was a waste of time and money and I feel like since they did nothing for me I should get my copay back! The run around and unirganization in their part has made me write this negative review. I don't understand why I would prescribe an expensive medicine that my insurance company would not cover! I called today for them to prescribe something else but who knows if they are able to do that since they haven't been able to do anything correct for me. A week later I got my meds so I upgrade my start I took one off for the wait time

Loved my experience! Reception was very polite, the office was CLEAN, my practitioner listened to my concerns and wasn’t pushy, and my scripts were sent to the pharmacy within 30ish minutes. Loved it! My doctor was also able to hand calculate the estimated overall dose of a past (medication (dosage/year/decade)) by HAND! I was amazed, usually a doctor would simply just say “wow” and move on. I’ll definitely be continuing care here!
