Alex is wonderful and so is the staff. I love how they send out reminders for your appointment and early appointments if you want to take.Not only is everyone friendly they make you feel welcomed. Alex is attentive,listens and quick. He gave me options and reasonable price solutions as well. And my pigmentation cleared up! I definitely recommend this facility! Great dermatology services here.

They scheduled me quickly after I got my referral and met all my expectations. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They quickly assessed my skin issue and performed the simple procedure I needed during my initial appointment which saved me a trip. I definitely recommend this practice based on my experience.

Amazing staff and doctors. I've taken my daughter twice and both times we were in the waiting room no more than a couple minutes. They are very thorough and clean. Dr. Jennifer Whaley talked us through our options and explained everything that was going to be done, and gave us her opinion on what she thought would be the best options for my daughter. I highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Dermatology Associates. Today 1/10/23 was my very first time. I was scheduled to see the physician but did see the PA. I am beyond impressed. The PA truly had such a huge amount of knowledge she could have passed for the physician herself. She listened to me and let me show my areas of focus. She was able to tell me lightning fast what the diagnosis was and the medication to treat the condition. This office is going to change my life. I need to make an appointment in 4 weeks and I am excited to go back. For the first time, I have found a place that is going to help me tackle skin conditions that have taken over my life for years. I’m a new patient and have been there only once. The wait was short and the staff made me feel comfortable & at ease. I went to their office as a referral from my PCP…to have a spot on my face and leg checked. To my surprise they did the biopsy right then and there on both areas! I was extremely happy about that. Turns out the spot on my face is topical melanoma and I’m scheduled in March to have it removed at their office. Jennifer W. is the one who called to explained things to me and I appreciated that. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars (for now)is because I tried 2 days in a row to speak with someone at their office… because the place on my leg wasn’t healing very well..and all I could get was scheduling. I’ll update my review after my Mohs surgery in march. Wish me luck! Michele Barowy ~

My daughter is a patient here and has been for a few years. She is always apprehensive when we go cause she once had a biopsy performed here. But the wait isn't too bad for a dermatologist office, and the staff are always friendly. By the time we leave, she is always feeling better and smiling. The staff is wonderful and so are the doctors. Great with kids!

Very professional. The receptionist was really friendly and very pleasant. The medical assistant was awesome she took her time to talk to me to make sure all my information was correct and she had a very friendly disposition. Dr. Alex was so nice. Took his and didn't try to rush me through. He was very clear on what my diagnosis was and how to treat it. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs a good doctor and a pleasant experience.

Great staff!! NP Jennifer was very attentive, and professional to me and my daughter. I had 2 biopsies during our first appointment, which is way better than having to schedule another appointment specifically for that. All staff was fabulous and friendly from check- in to check-out. 100% recommended for all your skincare needs!

We absolutely loved the office!! From the beginning, the front office staff was friendly, courteous and welcoming! We got the meet the assistant whom was a dream, then on to Alex Epperly, the PA hit it out of the park!! He was friendly, knowledgeable and put the kid and the parent at ease. Alex and Jennifer were rockstars!! My son said “why didn’t it hurt” after the procedure was completed! 11/10 recommend!!

My family doctor recommended to me that I go to a dermatologist. I actually found DASC online and read the reviews, which were mostly positive. I attended my first appointment today, staff including front desk, nurse and doctor were very kind and professional. The nurse was very kind and took the time to answer questions and explain what to expect. The doctor seemed competent and explained what his diagnosis was. I had to have a skin spot looked at, have a follow up in one month. So far I think I chose the correct doctor and would recommend!

I had a good visit except for doctor kinda rushing. The staff on the other hand is something else. I called last week to confirm appointment time bc I was running late was told I had been called which I never got and it was changed til 10:30am and it was 10:40 when I called. So they said I will put you down for the following Thursday at 1pm. Fast-forward to today. I called them to confirm because I'm not driving 50 minutes away and not being seen was told they put me down for yesterday at 1 instead of Thursday. Thankfully they had time to work me in today at 2 but I still didn't get out of there til 3:25 this afternoon. Moral of the story check and confirm by calling before you go. I know they have Alot of patients but they definitely need put you down on the day they claim.

Very friendly staff. Professional and caring medical team. Dr. Alex is the best. He is willing to jump through all the hoops to get insurance approval for the appropriate medication or procedure. I appreciate the Charleston office so much. They are the only dermatologist that take my insurance. I highly recommend them.

My daughter started having issues with her skin and was nervous about going at first. Let me just say that EVERYONE is so sweet and genuine. The lady working the front window is so friendly and professional. We are greeted with a smile by everyone in the office and we absolutely love them all. Highly recommend.

Had an appointment in May, I was soooo nervous because this was my first visit to a dermatologist. I seen Dr. Ashley & she was super nice, very quick but thorough (my anxiety was sky high by this point so I was super thankful). The 2 nurses that came in and did my biopsies were super nice! They legit knew what they were doing! Even though I almost passed out because I accidentally looked down (thinking they were finished) 😂 thats my own fault lol... But the nurses were super nice I told them I needed to lay back & needed some water! The ONLY thing I didn't like was the time it took for my biopsy results; they took almost like a month. But I know that isn't the offices fault, its the pathology office that had my biopsies. I do recommend if you need a dermatologist or skin care Dr., by all means go here!
