I have bounced around a few dental offices in town and just recently landed at Smile Connections. From the front desk to the hygienists, the staff here is amazing. I had to reschedule half a dozen times and they have been so patient and accommodating. Finally made it in for my first deep cleaning and I couldn't be happier- I have never done well in a dental chair and I can't believe how easy and pain free they kept my visit. Highly recommend them for anyone who is "afraid of the dentist". I even took our 18 month old son and they were so great with him! It's a relief to find a dentist I don't dread going back to!

For some 14 years I have used Smile Connections Family Dental. I have had a few crowns installed as well as my two annual cleanings with Smile Connections. Smile Connections explains the billing up front so no surprises, and for years, had a good system to remind patients of their next visit. Finally and most important is the staff. Always been kind, helpful, and flexible if I need to make a change to my appointment. Dr. Volker is very good at explaining what they are doing or giving good options. Also neat to see how Dr. Volker stays updated with new technology I have recommended Smile Connections Family Dental in the past and will continue to do so.

Candy cleaned my teeth today and she did one fine job! She said she has worked for Dr. Volker for several years now, but this is the first time I have ever met her. Kirsten usually cleans my teeth, but she wasn’t there today. All the dental hygienists are very nice and they all do a good job cleaning teeth, so it doesn’t matter which one I get. Dr. Volker came in and did a full mouth examination and had the hygienist take a couple pictures of my teeth; I think he saw something that could become problems later on. Uh oh! Nothing yet. He’s such a good doctor!! Thank you Smile Connections! 😊 ❤️ This is January 25, 2023 and I just had another teeth cleaning done yesterday. No cavities and less bleeding than the time before. The hygienist asked me if I drink anything that could stain my teeth and of course I told her coffee. Evidently she found it between my teeth. Flossing will get that! Ouch! Ok. I will do it. The appointment went smoothly. I am scheduled February 22 to get the occlusal guard refitted. Thank you for your patience with me. I’m happy with your services.

Honestly the best dental care I have ever received. I haven't been to a dentist in quite some time because quite frankly I hate it, but they were extremely nice and welcoming and made the experience pretty tolerable. They explained things in a comprehensive way and it shows that they genuinely enjoy working there. I had a good appointment with Candy. However I am concerned about you no longer being In-Network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. We like our insurance. We know Out-of-Network costs will be higher. We don't like having to pay first and then having to mess with re-balancing any differences with BCBS. That's the way it was when I helped my Mother with her Medicare back in the 1990's and was a continuous nightmare! We hope you change your mind.

Billing surprised me. I asked initially if I could pay each visit and after 3 months came in for another cleaning and was told I had a $471 bill. Why did nobody ever tell me this before 3 months? Then was quite the challenge trying to get any answers as to what insurance would be paying. I paid half of the current visit along with arrears to hopefully avoid surprises for next time. Dental care is wonderful and Dr Volker is amazing. I would like very much if billing would be more informative. I received a refund from the Endodontist so never had any idea I owed this amount.

I've seen 3 dentists prior who could not get it right/would tell me I didn't know what I was talking about/would say they can't fix it. I almost gave up on dentistry all together. Then I found this office. Dr. Meng and her team took the time (even extra beyond the appointment I was paying for) to listen to my concerns and work on adjusting my bite. After almost 10 years of pain, my bite is so much better, my headaches are gone, my teeth sensitivity is down to a minimum, and I couldn't be more thrilled. The staff here communicate well with you to ensure they are meeting your needs. If you want a dentist who makes you feel important and welcome, and you want your problems listened to and prioritized, Dr. Meng's office is where you need to be. In addition, the staff work wonders with people who have dental anxiety. I always feel calm, informed, and like I am in control, even when I have my 2 sets of hands and tools in my mouth for a filling. They regularly check in on me to make sure I'm feeling ok, and my anxiety is always at a minimum with them.
