I cannot recommend this dental practice enough!! Everyone, from the front desk to hygienists to dentists are kind, friendly, and skilled. I've never felt as comfortable and cared for at any other dental office. Dr. Yacoub does excellent work. I have had several procedures done and they walked me through everything step by step and made sure I was always comfortable. If you live in DC this is the practice you want.

I went here when I broke a tooth and they were the only people open Saturday morning. They were very helpful, saw me quickly and took x-rays... But then they tried to sell me on a root canal and gumline de-scaling at jacked-up prices. My regular dentist determined I just needed a crown and several years later it appears he was right. Points for being open and taking walk-ins, bad karma for being predatory with people in pain.

Such a great experience! I had a dental emergency and had no established dentist in the area. Dental Town was able to get me in the next day, and the entire staff was beyond helpful from start to finish. Chelsea at the front desk called my insurance company for me and let me know upfront exactly what I would need to pay - the transparency was amazing. The doctor was so incredibly kind and had me in and out in less than an hour. I can’t thank them enough for all of their help!

Best dentist hands down! Dr. Shenasi and the whole team are amazing. I have been her patient for over a year now. The environment is clean and calming for anyone who is nervous about the dentist, and everyone is super friendly. They treat you very well, look out for your health, and explain things every step of the way. I even referred my boyfriend (who used to dread going to the dentist) but he loves it here too.

This was by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I broke my tooth the day before and called slightly freaking out the next morning. Chelsea answered the phone and was able to get me in ASAP. She was so sweet throughout and made me feel taken care of. My hygienist, Nina, was also very kind and answered all my questions. Dr. Martin greeted me warmly and thoroughly went through my options, making me feel comfortable with scheduling a root canal. The office itself is very clean, spacious, and frankly quite pretty. Very grateful to have found Dental Town!

This was my very very first visit and here’s my assessment: the dental hygienist and the actual dentist were great. They were amazingly friendly and made you feel at ease. Absolutely love the service they provided, the only negative thing for me was the receptionist today. She was beyond rude and have no people skills. I almost gave a proper telling off, but not necessary to waste energy on people like that. I hope they can put more friendly & inviting people on the forefront. That woman need not be there.

Dental Town DC is hands-down the best dentist I’ve ever been to in my life. Dr. Shenasi, Dr. Park, and the staff care so much about the patients; I truly feel like I am treated as their family member. Their hours are extremely accommodating, and they are always willing to work with patients and their busy schedule to make appointments. They take great care to remind you of appointments ahead of time. I am a medical professional and have moved around many times for school, training, and jobs, and have never found such a fantastic office.

I've already started recommending this practice to friends. The staff are friendly and responsive to questions. I hadn't been to a dentist in years but after a consultation here I never felt that I got a runaround. Dr. Shenasi is impressive both with her bedside manner and her ability to distill treatment concepts/practices into a way that is intelligible to the layman and easily followed at home. For example, she explained the importance of closing my mouth in a certain way while brushing in order to reach the back molars. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist.

Going to the dentist can be rough for anyone, but the staff at Dental Town DC definitely made my experience a lot better. The people at the front desk are clear in their explanations, friendly, and helpful. I really appreciate how they work with the insurance before moving forward with anything and then clearly list out what you will be responsible for. That kind of transparency is lacking in so many other medical offices, but here I always know exactly what will be happening when I walk back and what my card will be charged at the end. The dentist herself is also great, very quick, and always on the look out for signs of discomfort or pain.

The whole team is thoroughly professional and very helpful, my case was fairly serious and treatment was appointed straight away. OMG!!! Where do I even begin? This dentist office and the dentist herself were so amazing. From the minute I called to make an appointment, I was assisted by the patient registrar Nahom I believe his name was, he was beyond polite and helpful and my god was he funny. At the day of the visit and each time after that, I went total of 3 or 4 times so far, they were very professional, courteous, accommodating, clean, and efficient. The doctors, hygienist, as well as the rest of the office staff seemed quite knowledgeable and experienced. They were very meticulous with the medical and billing side, who wants to have gunk in their teeth or be overcharged? I know I don’t! I didn’t feel like the doctor or the staff just wanted me to get stuff done for their own good, like I have before at various practices. Overall, I’d give them a 10, and boy oh boy the main female dentist is extremely lit and personable. Lastly, I always felt apprehensive of getting care at those dated looking and dirty offices but I’m so glad that they’re anything but that. I love this dentist very much, and even though I normally don’t do reviews, but I felt compelled after they asked me to but more importantly due to the level of service and care they provided because many business ask me all the time. If you live in the metropolitan DMV, anywhere near or ofc in DC and need a dentist for any of your needs then check them out, and although I didn’t need them for ortho care but I believe they even provide that. Dr. Shenasi is a superhero! She is the only dentist I know who takes a preventative approach. My first visit she consulted me on what type of foods to avoid/consume and what time of day to clean my teeth for optimal tooth longevity. A different dentist told me I needed 3 fillings whereas she advised, with a habit change, we may be able to avoid the fillings. She used a high tech camera (not just low tech x-rays) to show me where my teeth were grinding and why a mouthguard would solve a lot of my problems. She could've made more money on me by suggesting fillings like the other dentist did, but she only operates when needed. She's a great dentist because if I follow her advice I'll visit the dentist less frequently. Bonus - the excellent interior design and color scheme of the office is zen AF.

This was our first time at Dental Town DC. We had avoided going to the dentist for the past year but I could no longer hold it off. The appointment process was a breeze and quick. The office extremely clean. Very friendly staff and noticed them disinfecting the various high touch areas. Our temperatures were taken and hands sanitized. My son was handed a remote control to watch youtube on the tv while waiting in his room. Under my supervision of course. The dentist was extremely friendly and even handed my son a mirror and asked him to help her count his teeth. X-rays were taken and a thorough cleaning done. Thank god no cavities! I was even asked if it was ok to allow fluoride treatment for my son which I was never asked before and just assumed the dentists will do so anyway. Overall, a very positive experience. We will make this place our go to dentist place for sure!

The cleanliness of the office matches the sweet personality of the Assistant, Nina and the Doctor herself, Dr. Shenasi. I have to say, I really enjoyed my trip to the dentist today. I was pleasantly surprised that Dr. Shenasi did the cleaning rather than a hygienist. I think this is the most amount of time I've ever interacted with a dentist for a cleaning. Dr. Shenasi is wonderful. She's very friendly and easy to connect with. I felt like she took the time to listen to my concerns and explained things so I could easily understand. In addition, the office is quite meticulously decorated which was a nice touch. The waiting room has cool star lights with a brass/copper finish that matches the arms of the chairs behind the checkin desk. Both those chairs and the waiting room chairs are covered with a deep blue velvet material. Each patient room has a different bright colorful wall that matches the patient chair. It's a very inviting environment. The pandemic precautions were also fantastic and the office is proudly LGBTQ+ friendly. I hope to come back for years to come! :)

While parking is rather challenging in the area, once you walk in the door you'll be greeted with great service. One of my favorite things about the space is that each exam area is a different color. It helps make it feel a little less daunting when you don't feel like you're walking into an interrogation or a surgical theater. I actually had fun there chit chatting with the staff, hygienists, and the doctor herself (Dr. Shenasi). Also, this is being written in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, and I felt very safe with their protocols in the office. I really felt like my teeth and my emotional comfort were important to the staff. I have to have a few follow-up appointments to address dental issues discovered at my recent appointment, and I'm weirdly looking forward to it because it was the most enjoyable dental experience I've had.

I think I identify with most people when I say going go the dentist is a pain and while essential, not something I look forward to. Over the years I’ve bounced around from many dentists. Oftentimes leaving to find a new location due to the combination or similar factors - lack of transparency with costs and billing, horrible communication, and/or just the general sense of feeling like just another patient in the chair of someone who really doesn’t care about what they do or who they are working on. I reached a point in the last couple years of needing to get more work done than just a routine cleaning, and all I can say is - I am so glad I stumbled my way into Dr. Shenasi’s chair. She is extremely professional and personable but more than that - she’s the first dentist I’ve ever seen that truly cares for her patients and exemplifies a mission of “patients first.” I started seeing Dr. Shenasi when she was at a different practice and when she came to Dental Town DC it was a no brainer for my family and I to continue to see her at this practice. I feel like five stars isn’t even enough to give this practice. I would give it an infinite amount of stars if it was humanly possible. I had a dental emergency and Dr. Shenasi not only did a consult with me during a holiday weekend she was able to squeeze me in during the week and schedule me for surgery in less than two weeks. I am incredibly appreciative to her and her staff. The office is beautiful, the taste in decor is impeccable and the wait time is virtually nonexistent. Even though I live 45 minutes away I will still come back to this practice. If you’re looking for a dentist especially one that is compassionate, caring and has an amazing bedside manner you should start and end here. I will recommend this place to all of my friends. And bonus points for being open on the weekend! I manage medical practices and providers who are open on the weekends are saints for individuals like me who work during the week!!! She is personable, gentle when flossing and always has advice to help me maintain my teeth and gums. I had a tooth capped at the beginning of the shutdown. She called or texted to let me know when I could come in to finish. Personable! Genuinely cares! Dr Denasi I just wish all dentists and dental hygienists floss before the cleaning. After they use that sharp pic to scrape tarter the gums are very sensitive. then they want to pull the string up fast so the teeth clap hard each other.

This place gets a 💯 when it comes to dental care for children - hands down! Brought my 3, 5, and 6 year old children. The practice set up a multiplex for my kids with two different children's shows playing simultaneously on two different screens so the kids which weren't being seen had a choice of what to watch!
