I just had my wisdom teeth done yesterday and the Dr. And staff were amazing! I was a little nervous because anesthesia is a little hard on me but everything went great and smooth. The instructions and what to do after provided in the booklet are great as are the prescriptions used to help treat you afterwards! The gift box at the end was an incredibly nice touch and really made me feel welcomed!

I had a tooth infection starting on Christmas day. I went to my dentist on 1/2/23. I was sent to River Ridge Oral as they agreed to remove my tooth late in the day with no nitrous oxide treatment (novacaine shots, no pain during procedure). So I was able to have my tooth removed without a 'responsible adult' with me. Therefore, I was able to drive home on my own. I was impressed with their prompt and professional service.

I came here to have my son's wisdom teeth removed. They were very, very busy when we came. The waiting room was packed full. We arrived a half hour early, but didn't get in until 10 mins after actual appt time. The ladies at the front desk were friendly. So were the nurses and doctors. Masks are required in the building and they ask that people wait in their cars unless you are there with a minor patient. Then you can wait inside. The parking lot is very small and narrow to get into. I thought I was going to have to park across the street but found the last available spot. I got a phone call that my son was done and had to drive around back and go in there for after care and to talk with the doctor. They send clear instructions for after care. They also sent us with a care package for him which was a nice touch. So far, he is healing nicely without problems. My one word of caution, while I was in the waiting room the receptionist got a call from someone regarding their bill. She explained about finance charges and they decided to make a payment. She had told them several times she was having a hard time hearing them. When she took the credit card over the phone she proceeded to read the entire card back to them out loud. The entire waiting room heard it. Everyone just looked at each other and couldn't believe that just happened. So, as a warning to the staff and those calling in. We can hear everything in the waiting room that is said at the reception area. Might be better to take payment phone calls in the back offices for privacy and safety.

Wow. Got my wisdom teeth removed literally today. I had the most fabulous experience. The people at the front desk Kendall and Justin(pardon me for misspelling) were incredible and understanding of my anxiety. I had Kendra who helped me prep before the surgery and she was kind, compassionate, intelligent and efficient she even played some music to relax me before surgery. She answered all of my questions and explained everything she was doing. Dr. henricksen did great. He is a baller. Best of the best. He also explained to me some things and I was like thank you. The team at riverview understood my anxiety , I was so scared, but they made me feel safe. The team is incredible and they should be very proud of themselves for running such a great clinic that is based on compassion, quality of care and serving the needs of the patient. Everyone I talked to was very friendly and professional, starting at the front desk. I had terrible nausea after waking up from the general anesthesia and had a lot of dry heaving, but the dental assistant was very kind and helpful and I appreciate everything she did for me. I appreciate the care shown by several of the doctors and assistants while I was there, especially since I did not have a good experience with the anesthesia. Thank you!

I was referred to River Ridge by my dentist to have my wisdom teeth removed. I had a few small concerns about them getting removed, but the process went smoothly. I was a little sore on my lower jaw for about 5-6 days afterwards, but by a week after the surgery, I felt like I was back to normal. And I've had no lingering issues since then. The staff was super friendly, and Dr. Henriksen did a bang up job.

Great team. I experienced good customer service in a clean and pleasant faculty. I was offered a warm blanket before surgery and the nurse who did my IV was fantastic! I think she could tell I was a little nervous, so she just kept talking to me and got it in there quick. I was referred by a friend who works at Aspen dental. She told me this was the best oral surgery place in town. I would also recommend.

I had all of my wisdom teeth surgically removed here and they did a fantastic job. The assistant that prepared me for surgery made me feel welcome and safe. I was nervous as this was my first ever surgery. The facility was quiet and clean, and the surgery went very well. I left with no pain right away, and plenty of medications to hold me off. The instructions they gave for after surgery care was detailed and left me with zero questions. I would highly recommend River Ridge for anyone with or without speculation on oral surgery.

Was impressed how they got me in for an emergency tooth extraction and to drain the infected area. Staff was very friendly. I had a quick recovery even as an everyday smoker. I thought pricing was reasonable. I paid everything up front however at the time of going over the bill they did say a payment plan was an option if I couldn't afford it all that day. I didn't think $930 for the extraction, drainage, IV sedation and general anesthesia was bad.

I went here to get a few teeth pulled and I have to say that the staff here is incredible. They are all very friendly. Once you go back for your procedure they ensure that it gets done in the most comfortable and painless way possible. Dr Hille and Katie both made this such a pleasant experience for me. After I met them I knew I was in very good hands. I would recommend River Ridge to anyone who needs any oral surgery done.

I had a pocket of infection after my wisdom teeth removal and was referred here. They got me in right away, answered all my questions and reassured me after each phone call that everything was healing normally. Wonderful staff. If I ever have to go back, which I'm hoping I don't, I will go here! Edit: Ended up having to go back, and were still wonderful!

The front desk staff, the Dr, and his nurse were wonderful. They were very friendly and made me feel comfortable as I have high dental anxiety. They are also very flexible with payment arrangements. My recovery however was terrible!! I woke up in extreme pain so they gave me toradol however my pain level was still at a 10 a half hour later. I laid there crying my eyes out in pain and got ignored as I listened to the nurses chat about Christmas sweaters and shopping. I finally had to sit up and ask one of them for a stronger pain med. They gave me a little bit of morphine which wears off rather quick so I continued to lay there sobbing in pain and still being ignored. I had to sit up again and holler for a nurse to come over I asked her if the Dr could come and try to numb me to see if that would help and he happily did that. The numbing took the edge off slightly so still in tears I asked the nurse if there was anything they could do, she told me that she couldn't do anything and took my iv out and told me to just go get my prescription for my pain med filled and basically shooed me out the door. I have had 15 surgeries in the last 3 years and I have never had to leave recovery in pain so here I am at home unable to get the pain under control and considering going to the er.

I was referred by my dentist, because I have exposed jawbone. My appointment was made the same week I called in, late afternoon. The doctor had something come up, so they moved my appointment up by 2 and a half hours. When I walked into the building, the staff was really friendly. I got checked in and in the back for x-rays withing 5 minutes. X-ray runner was super nice. I went into the room, the dental assistant was very nice. The doctor was nice. They both explained to me what they were doing and their recommendation. I'll be scheduling another appointment to have the bone removed in the future. You're mouth is in good hands!

Had a great experience. Got 4 wisdom teeth removed. 20 minute procedure, no pain and they even followed up the next day to check and see how I was doing. I'm feeling really good. Haven't had to take the oxy yet, because I haven't even had pain yet. The nurses and docs are really professional. Made me feel right at home!

I just had my 4th and final wisdom tooth (lower right) pulled because it was coming in at a 45 degree angle and was impacted. The actual surgery couldn't have lasted any longer than 15 minutes, and there was only very minor bleeding immediately following the surgery, and a few hours later there was none. They had estimated the total time for my driver (dad) to wait would be 90 minutes and we were together and back in the car in less than that, and the lack of pain was astounding. I couldn't believe how little it hurt. No disrespect to my local dentist, but the only ones I've had extracted hurt WAY more and for much longer, and also bled for much longer, and they weren't even impacted. The staff was friendly and easy to work with from the Doctors and Assistants all the way through to the front desk. I genuinely couldn't recommend them more, my experience was that good. Who would've thought possible how little actually "pulling teeth" could resemble what's implied by the idiom!

Very professional and friendly. Was wise to have lower wisdom teeth removed here (pun intended). They saved me 120$ by using Novocain and nitrous peroxide instead of anesthesia after consulting. I didn’t regret it. Only wish I asked to keep the teeth, would have been cool for a science classroom. The next day follow up call was a nice gesture.

Service date 10/2019. Friendly receptionists. Had been told over the phone a couple of times that I would see someone in the business office about setting up a payment plan prior to surgery. I never met with anyone before or after and have not been contacted about said meeting. Standard waiting room time. Pleasant prep staff and doctor interaction. Panic attack in recovery room not so much ignored as not really commented on. "Time to settle down. That's enough now." I'm sure that crying is something seen everyday but not something that the patient is used to. Aftercare not explained very well, felt a bit rushed out after procedure. Overall an okay experience.

My wife had her wisdom teeth removed there today. Everything was great during registration and pre-surgery prep. But unfortunately the post-op care was not great at all. The nurse must have been having a rough day or something. My wife felt extremely rushed to get out before she was ready and the nurse was very rude and condescending.

I had a great experience at River Ridge. I had a minor surgery done and when I went in the staff was all very helpful with questions I had about the check in/medical history forms. From there, Dr. Henriksen's assistant, gave me a briefing on what they were going to do and was great about answering all my questions. Dr. Henriksen came in and went over the procedure one more time and made sure I was comfortable with every step of the process. The surgery was quick and I was given detailed aftercare instructions to follow. The next day the office called and checked in with me to make sure all was going well. A few days later Dr. Henriksen called himself to provide the results of some tests and check in on me. I highly recommend the team at River Ridge. They took great care of me.

What a great place! I went in for a second opinion after a different oral surgeon said I need a ton of work. Doctor Henriksen was great!! He said there was no reason to remove my implants and we just needed to watch them. I left feeling so relieved. If I ever do need an oral surgeon, I will definitely go back!!

Could not be any happier w/ my experience from check-in to check-out. All-in-all I was there 90 mins. Arrived 30 mins prior to appointment to sign additional paperwork and to give payment. (people, please bring your money and insurance card). They called me to the back at 730a (appt time) sharp. A nice dental assist spent at least 15 mins getting my vitals and the room set-up for the Dr to come in and do his work on removing my 42 year old wisdom teeth. Nice Dr. came in and introduced himself, injected some anesthesia into my arm and the next thing I know (15 mins later) I'm waking up in the recovery room where I sat for 30 mins. Boom, 90 mins in/out. I was able to return to work the next day. My only regret was waiting this long to have them removed.

First, I am not a fan of any type of dental visit - I avoid them. When I have to see an oral surgeon this is the only place I will go. The office staff is pleasant, well informed and easy to work with. The dental staff works hard to make the process as comfortable as possible. The oral surgeon did not make me feel guilty for flinching and his sense of humor helped. I hate everything dental BUT I LIKE River Ridge and will use again if i have to.

My review is for care received from Dr. Brent Hendrickson. One of the best medical/dental offices I have visited. From the front office personnel to the assistants in the back operatories, everyone was friendly, courteous, efficient and professional. They set a model that many other offices should follow. I felt totally comfortable and confident with everyone in the office and the service I received was excellent. The follow up phone call is above and beyond, I couldn't expect more.

Extremely happy. Broke a tooth at root and had severe pain, they got me in same day and extracted it. About 1/2 the price I expected to boot!! After extraction never had any pain it side affects. Did not even have to get pain meds prescribed to me. Have 2 friends that need oral surgery soon and going to switch to river ridge from their previous experience with other company.

I had Wisdom Tooth along with a Molar next to it removed. Novocaine used to numb up the area then pulling began. Process took less than 30 minutes start to finish with no issues what so ever. Moderate pain on day 1 & 2 after the extraction then mild pain on days 3 - 7. I highly recommend River Ridge for tooth removal.

I was referred to River Ridge by a dentist. I questioned if I needed the surgery, but decided to go in and see what the surgeon thought. I chatted with Dr. Holleman's assistant and then Dr. Holleman came in to take a look. He told me that my symptoms were common and that if the area wasn't bothering me it wasn't necessary to do the surgery. I was thankful they were open and honest with me and didn't do a surgery that wasn't 100% necessary. Thank you!

He also has a disorder that we didn't know what the outcome would be with his bleeding. Dr. Henriksen, the next day after our consultation, called me personally and had been doing research on my son's disorder. I cannot give enough gold stars for the research and attention to detail that came from Dr. Henriksen. And also helping us in obtaining the medicines that my son needed pre-surgery as that was not an easy adventure with our health provider. His nurse is also AMAZING and the caring that came from this team is second to none. I so very much recommend River Ridge. Thank you for all that you do and how much you all care.

Overall the Oral surgeon and staff seemed all professional and were kind to us pre trearment mainly- The negative i have against several staff (two staff at the front counter aswering and the other staff m m came to assist the staff at front desk)with the prescription needed made it sound like it was inpossible to have meds called in or electronically sent to my pharmacy at Avera Mckennan campus phamacy which is a normal practice except for certain med tyoes for daughter. The three staff at front desk told me they dont do that, but finally they sis send or call in her prescription after some back and fourth questioning. We dont live next door to your facility instead we love 45-50 mins away, thays what i asked could they please send prescription to my pharmacy to save a hr or two waiting for each to be filled!

I had my wisdom teeth removed about a month ago. The process went smoother than I could have imagined. With this being my first every experience with general anesthesia, there were some nerves going into the procedure. However, the staff were very friendly and accommodating . Getting prepped for the surgery went smooth, it also didn’t drag on which I really appreciated. I know this can differ from patient to patient but I was pretty much pain free throughout the healing process. Just achy but that’s to be expected, but surprisingly I had no pain. With having two severally impacted wisdom teeth, I was sure I’d experience more discomfort. Very thankful I was referred here.
