Visiting in town and I guess the pressure from the plane ride sent the nerve in my tooth into chaos mode. Had an emergency route canal done, part of it anyway. My insurance wasn’t covered here but they gave me options of how we could go about it. Very professional throughout the whole process and explained everything thoroughly. I don’t always leave reviews but felt inclined to do it for them. The Doctor along with the nursing staff were great!

Unbelievably efficient operation. I was in a great deal of pain and they scheduled me to come in immediately to the downtown Seattle location. Staff was super friendly, professional and compassionate. I had my tooth extracted within an hour or so of my arrival. Once the Novocaine wore off a few hours later I called them to see if they would call in a script for something stronger than what I was initially given and they did. Thank you Emergency Dental Care USA 😁

I had and emergency dental extraction at EDC USA yesterday. I was a nervous wreck. Dr.Atwood, Hygienist Heriko, (Hope I got that right),And the kind receptionist were all wonderful. They patiently listened to my concerns, and answered my many...many questions. As far as payment, it was MUCH overall easier on the bank account than I thought. Turns out the office didn't accept my plan exactly BUT they honored the fee that I would have had paid had they accepted i which amounted to several hundred dollars off(!!!) The dreaded injection which is usually the biggest issue for me- Absolutely painless. Dr Atwood took his time, and went slowly, and they waited long enough for the shot to take total effect before proceeding. The extraction itself also painless albeit for pressure that Heriko throughly explained beforehand, and took two minutes if that, and done. I was so relieved. Best dental visit in a very very long time. I feel SO much better today- minimal swelling and my jaw is not all beat up from aggressive injection needleing in the beginning. This dental crew is outstanding in every way 10/5 stars all the way. They were kind when I needed it, and that was everything.

In general I had a good experience and would recommend to anyone in need of same day dental care. I was able to get in right away. Dr Atwood took care of the problem I was having with my wisdom tooth without removing it. Hygienist was great.

I was in transit at the airport. Dental pain level got discomfortable. They were able to see me as they opened. Even though i did not like the price i had to pay, i was grateful for that quick response and same day emergency care.

I had a scooter accident and knocked one of my front teeth out and split my lip badly. My tooth cam out whole and un broken. so we grabbed the tooth and put it in milk and rushed to Emergency Dental Care USA. Immediately upon entering the office the dental assistant Lin Qu got me in the char and told me it would be ok, she was so empathetic that even though she was prepping me for x-rays I felt much better. Being a person who experiences significant anxiety around dental work, Lin Qu's comfort made this the best dental work experience of my life. Dr. Talbot expertly stitched my lip back together and re-implanted my tooth and applied a splint to hold the tooth in place while it healed. If you ever have a dental emergency I highly recommend you head into Emergency Dental Care USA ASAP, you will be in good hands.

My crown fell out and my husband's denture lost a tooth. We just happened to be walking by and popped in to see if we could be helped. 6:30pm on Veteran's Day and we both got taken care of! Friendly staff and great tunes to listen to while waiting was a bonus!

The whole staff were wonderful to work for. I went in for an emergency care and it was quite possibly the best wisdom tooth extraction I've had so far! It was best out of 3 and I'll definitely go back if I need a 4th. They listened to my concerns and did everything they could to address them. I felt well cared for and set up for a successful recovery.

After being in excruciating pain and from a dental procedure I had done in Arizona, I stumbled upon this place while I was mid-flight on my way to Seattle for what was the beginning of a 2wk vacation. By the time I landed, the pain was a high 10. After my initial consultation with Dr. Atwood I felt that I was in good hands. Side note, I'm always super apprehensive with any provider regardless of their specialty. Even though they did not take my insurance, I felt that my next move was a must. I ended up getting my #15 molar pulled as my personal dentist started a root canal without my knowledge, didn't finish it, and put a temporary cap on it. I felt that Dr. Atwood was extremely knowledgeable and honest with me about what was going on and what my next options were. During the entire time I was under Dr. Atwoods care, he reassured me that I was in control of what was going on and that every decision made was on me. I'm very grateful for Dr. Atwood and his assistant Sara as they got me back up and running immediately following the procedure. My pain had minimized from a 10 to 3ish. And, I was able to complete my 2wk vacation pain free. I absolutely recommend even if your insurance isn't accepted and you have the means to pay for your services.

If you're wondering whether to take a chance on this place, just do it! My story is probably a common one, I put off getting my wisdom teeth removed for years until they were enough of a bother. Emergency Dental was able to get me an appointment the next day to do an exam and the extraction. Dr. Shorey is the best! I had a lot of anxiety about the process/recovery but he was calm and confident. He even let me take one tooth home, while the other went to science. A few days after the extraction I was nervous that I had gotten dry sockets or an infection, so I made another appointment. Dr. Shorey saw me right away and made me feel much more at ease while reassuring me that the healing was happening normally. The whole staff is very focused on helping patients effectively and efficiently! Emergency Dental Care Seattle, you the real MVP!

Friendly staff. Dr. Atwood was very knowledgeable. Procedure was quick but a little tricky to remove. A no-frills room environment. Overall Good Experience. Parking in parking garages within a couple blocks, so drive your small car and add 15min to your a arrival time to find parking, or Uber.

Went to visit on an urgent issue Memorial Day and while they were clearly very busy. Rock star front desk manager Elizabeth was friendly, knowledgeable and clearly had it ALL under control! She was constantly updating me and everyone else. It took a little while to get brought back but I wasn’t in pain at that time & I wanted other that might have been to get priority. I waited patiently, glad to have gotten a 6 Pm appt.The comfortable, stylish, open air waiting room does not feel at ALL like a “medical dental” office at all. My anxiety was quickly alleviated. The rooms, chairs, equipment in back are all very modern, & comfortable with nice low key lighting. The dentist Andy I think? Had an immediate warmth & kindness to him, I liked him right away and felt even more at ease! I plan to go back to them for additional work... soon. I guess this is kind of the ‘ER of dentistry’, but it doesn’t feel or look that way! I had heard great reviews from another family member who was also grateful to have found them. You too will be glad you did too!

I got my root canal done today. Dr. Chase and Tiffany did an awesome job making me comfortable. They told me I was doing great and that was very reassuring for someone who is just terribly scared going to a dentist. They showed care and compassion while doing the procedure. Elizabeth on the other hand is very knowledgeable with insurance stuff and really provide good customer service. For somebody who hasn't been to the dentist for quite sometime they show no judgement. Great experience. I had a bad experience with a dentist as a kid and unfortunately waited until I had severe tooth pain to make this appointment. I called at 830A this morning and was seen at 2p the same day. The manager who does intake is excellent. She explained the costs of the dental work clearly regarding insurance vs. out of pocket charges. Jessica and Dr. David were FANTASTIC. They knew I was anxious about the visit so they made sure to explain the entire wisdom tooth extraction in detail before actually doing it. If you have a dental emergency, I cannot recommend them enough. Everyone I came in contact with was incredibly kind and patient.

I am so happy I found this place! I broke my permanent retainer while on vacation on a weekend and they fit me right in. The staff was so nice, helpful, and accommodating. Even when my insurance proved to be an issue, they were patient and helped me find a solution to the problem. They fixed me up in no time and for a reasonable amount. I would recommend them 1000x to anyone needing dental care!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and doctor. At many dental offices I have felt pressured into getting 5+ treatments then and there. Here everything and it’s cost was explained before I agreed to anything, everything was left up to me. I had a full evaluation, deep cleaning and two fillings. Additionally, I was able to get a same day appointment that works with my schedule. I’ll be going back to finish my deep cleaning and for regular visits after.

I rarely review a service unless it’s extremely bad or exceptional. I was desperate to find a dentist that would take care of what I thought was an abscessed tooth. The whole side of my face was swollen and I was in dire pain. My girlfriend calls at least can different than us trying to get me an appointment that same day or the following. The emergency dental group got me an appointment at the end of the day. Upon arriving they immediately took x-rays Dr Atwood did his evaluation and found that I had an abscess implant. This was done over 40 years ago. They established a cost which I accepted and an hour and a half later had that baby gone. What a blessing i’d recommend Dr. Atwood to anyone. I just wish he did the 4 implants and a full either fixed or removable plate. The next thing I’ll be doing.

I went to this emergency clinic because I was in a lot of pain and had been avoiding addressing dental work because of my anxiety. However, these folks put me right at ease and I actually decided to continue seeing them for regular cleanings & care because of how sweet they all were and how accommodating each visit had been. Everyone that works there is really kind and even funny, too, just so personable. I highly recommend this clinic for the reasons mentioned earlier, but it’s also a great location, parking has been super easy to find on either 5th or 6th.

Just as advertised; Emergency Dental Care USA is there when you need them. I had a toothache for two days, and finally (my wife) found them on Google. At 3:00pm, I booked an appointment for 6:00pm. Everyone from reception to the technician to Dr. Talbert were nice, friendly and professional. My tooth is already feeling better. Glad I found them. Pro tip: the name of the practice references “Emergency” but it should be your regular dentist.

Dr Atwood is the best dentist I’ve seen in my life and the nurses and office manager are sweet too but the new office lady recharged me my deductible after telling her over and over it’s paid and what I’ve paid before. She then refunded me but that takes 3-5 days. So now I’m out money on that and have wasted 50 min in my $15 parking arguing w her. Jesus Christ.

They were all super nice and friendly and it went great. I fell face first onto gravel floor at the corner before home, busted my lip and half of my right front tooth shattered. My friends drove me to the clinic and my tooth got fixed pretty fast. Dr. Shorey was great, as was the entire support staff. Doctor was thorough and honest about his assessment, and was understanding (as was his assistant) about my extreme fear of the dentist. Gave me all of the options & his recommendation for immediate treatment, but no one was pushy about it, given my financial situation required I take a less aggressive approach. Was clear with me about what I needed to do, given my choice of treatment plan that day, and provided me with a referral, prescriptions, and direction. I would absolutely recommend for emergency treatment, and would schedule again should the necessity arise.

My husband needed an emergency wisdom tooth extraction. We requested an appointment online last night and got in at 10am this morning. They didn’t take our insurance so we had to pay out of pocket, but they did send in a claim to our insurance to see if we could get reimbursed after the fact. An exam and one xray was $125, and the tooth extraction was $425 with just local anesthesia. Overall, a great, easy, quick, clean experience. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. The dentist said he had been doing this for 15 years, which is always nice to hear.

I had a face abscess and a severely infected tooth. They did an emergency root canal and took me after hours. I’ve never felt so seen and respected. The pain was excruciating and they were unbelievably compassionate. My regular dentist turned me away because it was New Year’s Eve. Emergency Dental Care USA was there for me on a holiday, after hours, and with professionalism I had never experienced. This place is a godsend.

I really like this place especially for emergencies. They get you right in and will get you out of pain right away. Only thing is they are way too expensive and the payment plans aren't reasonable. I paid $150 just for the x-rays and exam and over $500 to get my tooth extracted. Looked up and called other places the next day and it was anywhere from $250-$300. Still thankful that tooth is gone.

I’ve had many dentists all over WA state, and by far, Dr. Atwood has been my favorite dentist. He did an amazing job on my root canal and I appreciate how friendly the receptionist and the dental assistant were. Unlike many receptionists and dental assistants I’ve dealt with, the women here clearly explained how much everything would cost without insurance, what my insurance covered and what I had to pay up front. The dental assistant was also very patient with answering my questions about the procedure and Dr.Atwood did great in making the atmosphere a casual one and explaining/letting me know where he was in the procedure as he was working through it. I also created an appointment on Sunday and was able to go in and see them early on Sunday morning to alleviate my pain, which I was not able to do with any other dentist. If you need or are looking for flexibility with your schedule and appointments, Emergency Dental Care is the best option. I’ll definitely be back again for my routine check ups.

Highly recommend their service! I ve had a fractured tooth for six months amd my regular dentist advised it be pulled and replaced with a bridge. it wasn’t t troublesome so I put it off until a Saturday afternoon when it began to hurt a lot. I called emergency dental at 3 pm and got an appointment at 4:30. Because of my knee replacement I need to take antibiotics an hour prior to a dental procedure. They took an X-ray, then gave me the antibiotic prescription which I filled at bartells next door at 5 :30 one half hour before bartells closing. I took the medication right away and after waiting one hour the dentist carefully numbed my mouth and carefully did the extraction in a matter of minutes. Dentist gave me a prescription for pain and receptionist went out of her way to find a local pharmacy that was still open. That I am most grateful for the novocaine was wearing off and I was able to take the pain medicine as soon as it was handed to me which was 8pm That saved the day! Next pain pill was 2 am and I barely needed it. Sunday morning woke up and felt just fine. This dental office is modern and clean. The entire staff is professional and seems to care when a patient is in pain.

The receptionist was friendly. The dental assistants were friendly. The dentist spent a couple minutes with me, didn’t talk much and then removed my wisdom tooth. Fairly painless. Experiencing no pain 48+ hours later. Would go back.

Dr. Cobalt was wonderful and with the aide of his assistant made this journey so easygoing and flawless! Thank God this place existed otherwise I would have been SOL!

I am from Brooklyn here on vacation and was in so much pain with an abscessed tooth. My jaw was super swollen. We found this place on Google and I was so grateful that we did. The whole staff from the front desk to the nurse to the doctor were super nice and helpful and got me the treatment I needed right away! Now I can fly back home pain free. Was referred to this place by my cousin, her boyfriend had had two extractions done. The dental assistant called out today so they were shorthanded, it was just the doctor. This is the first extraction I've had where little care was given and the doctor just based on his attitude didn't give a ****. He barely numbed my gums before he went to work. I felt probably half of the procedure, and even though I complained that I felt pain he was still going at it. I get being short handed, in a rush etc but the way I was treated. Unacceptable. Never coming back.

I had been having referred pain from an infected wisdom tooth for days and the antibiotics I was given by my regular dentist was not working. It was going to take waiting to get into a dental surgeon for a consult and most want a referral first...and I was in pain now. Emergency dental care is good for getting in, taking care of the pain, and moving on with life. I was able to be seen the same day I contacted and got two wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Atwood. Their business model is different from a regular dentist. They are very matter of fact “get down to business” people there, not so much working to build relationships so I think that people can take that the wrong way, as unfriendly, but everyone I encountered was very nice, including the woman at the front desk. She is very nice and very knowledgeable, but has a nonchalant indifferent sort of personality that I think some reviewers have taken personally. If you are in pain and want relief ASAP, do not hesitate going here. Nothing fancy, no bells and whistles, but they are competent and good at what they do.

This is a very nice place to go if you are in a serious dental emergency. Three weeks ago I got hit in the face at work. I was ok. Woke up the next day with a broken tooth. It was like dangling. The front desk lady was very kind. A bit spacy and she misinformed me about pricingand had some weird issues with my insurance. Still I'm just gonna assume she was kinda new. The dentist was amazing. He helped me through the tooth extraction and gave me many options to move forward with treating other issues I had. He had info on everything. Root canals, braces the works. I'm going back today for a root canal.

Although Emergency dental didn’t accept my dental insurance, they were really accommodating about sharing the most effective and cost effective options for me. I ended up getting a tooth pulled, and it was painless. I’ve had a lot of bad and difficult experiences with dentists but this was so easy. My dentist, Dr Atwood, was straightforward about my situation and all of my options. He agreed with my choice to pull the tooth and never made me feel unsure or unsafe. He only took about 20minutes from time of numbing to the time the tooth came out. I’ll definitly be going back for future dental work even if i need to pay out of pocket. (It was $550 for x rays and extraction.)

Had a filling come loose and fall out on a Saturday afternoon while out on a hike. Within 4 hours, I had a replacement filling and was headed home. Took a few more hours until the numbness wore off and I was able to eat dinner. Very fast and efficient, though tended to go ahead and do things and explain only afterwards. (Which was a bit of a surprise when the big local anesthesia needle went into my mouth!)

I came here with a very painful toothache whilst travelling in the USA from Australia. I was extremely relieved when our hotel concierge was able to organise an appointment here within an hour of phoning, despite it being late on a Friday afternoon. I waited approx half an hour once arriving, but this is fairly standard for medical appointments in Australia (particularly when it's emergency and difficult to predict how long other patients treatments will take). My tooth was x-rayed and the doctor said it should be removed, which she could do right then and there. What a relief! I was given pain killers and the whole thing was over in about 15 minutes. Very impressive! I found all the staff to be polite, helpful and put me at ease. The doctor and dental nurse were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The follow up care was also great. Would highly recommend this place if you need to get a dental issue sorted quickly! My tooth healed just fine and I was able to enjoy the rest of our vacation. The cost was also very reasonable and completely covered by my travel insurance which was a further relief.

I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience at Emergency Dental Care. I had a broken upper back molar and was in quite a bit of pain. I needed an appointment right away, and had already been unable to get in to several places that said they took walk-ins when I called Emergency Dental. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much in the way of customer service here, thinking they were probably the equivalent of a dental fast-food chain ...boy, was I wrong! While everyone in the office was extremely accomodating and professional, the receptionist, Teresa, went out of her way to explain to me what the probable long-term consequences would be if I had an extraction (which is what I'd pretty much been set on) vs. saving the tooth (which I hadn't really thought was an option). Teresa took the time to make sure I understood everything, including their in-house financing and insurance plan, which will end up saving me alot of money! So, whether you need a one-time immediate treatment or ongoing regular care and just would like to find a dental office where you can feel comfortable and at home in, I really can't recommend Emergency Dental Care high enough!

Theresa at the office fit me in right away and after xrays, Dr Atwood explained the best treatment plan for my vertical root fracture. He provided me with a prescription for antibiotics for the inflammation and infection and we scheduled my extraction appointment for later this week. I am very happy to learn this office and Dr Atwood are not just for emergencies, I can make them my primary dental care provider. I got an appointment at 6:30pm and after a short waiting period Dr Shorey examined me, explained my situation very detailed and treated the infection. Walked in today because I had swelling on my gums underneath an impacted wisdom tooth. I've only been in Seattle for a little over three weeks so I don't have a regular dentist here. My insurance covers me in California, but they reassured me they could work with it and it sounds like it will work out fine. At this point I didn't really care of the cost because I just wanted relief. The receptionist was really nice and made sure that costs were okay with me before doing anything. They did some xrays and told me that I did need to get it removed. Unfortunately they couldn't do it today (that was expected), but I have an appt tomorrow morning for it. The doctor flushed out my gums before I left which hurt, but totally relieved some pain and then prescribed me some medicine. Super nervous about the surgery, but I think they'll take good care of me.

The front desk staff, dental assistant and the dentist were all really nice and compassionate. I was scared to death because I don't usually have good experience with dental services but since my tooth was aching so much I had to come in. They made my visit a pleasant one just by making sure I'm ok through it all. My procedure consisted of two fillings, cleaning and one extraction of a wisdom tooth. Aside from being bothered by the numbness of the novacaine, I was able to go back to work and was able to eat normal the next day with very little pain. I would come back for my cleaning and check up in the future.

I was flying out tonight (Sunday night) at 10:20 pm for 3 weeks in Central America. I woke up at 7 am with a horrible pain around an implant I've had for years. I knew my dentist was closed today, so I looked for Emergency Dentists and found EDC. I was able to get an appointment at 1:00 pm via the website. I didn't know it until I checked in, but they even tried to contact me to try and get me in sooner. Aside from seven pages of info, the intake was painless and Siobhan the hygienist was the sweetest thing, knocking a point or two off the pain scale with just her smile and caring attitude. An X-Ray, some probing, and the Dr. 'Andy' Atwood recommended that we go ahead and do a deep scraping of the implant and cleanout of the gum pocket, which they numbed me for and did right there and then. In by 1:00, out by 2:30 with a prescription for Peridex and painkillers, which I filled on my way home. After insurance the visit cost me $156 - not cheap, but it scratched the itch as I needed to see the doc *now*. I'm actually writing this review while laid over in Houston on my way to Belize, yes my tooth still hurts but I have the means to deal with it, so great experience all the way around.

Overall my experience was good. I had a toothache, they told me I needed atleast two of my wisdom teeth out. So thats what we did, I did not have insurance so they helped me finance through CareCard which was great. They did seem a bit unproffessional at times; the receptionist wasnt the warmest and they all seemed to sit around on there phones in front of me at one point. Including the main dentist which was kind of weird. Also, they werent super informative about my recovery process. I knew wisdom teeth recovery was pretty specific so i asked a lot of the right questions but I am still finding myself learning things from the recovery paperwork. Not a huge deal just figured they would go over it all in detail with me atleast once. For example i was drinking la croix the first day after and I just read not to drink any carbonated beverages. Over all I would go back and I am rating 5 stars cause they really helped me out. But if I had the choice to do it again I would probably go with a regular oral surgeon.

Okay, first off I would recommend this place to ANYONE ! I had a split #31 molar that was causing me unbelievable pain. I was able to get in on a Saturday to see Dr. Shorey and dental asst Chris . They are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING in every way! Now, I seem to be one of the few people in the world who don't numb very well so Dr.Shorey had to keep stopping to add more of the numbing solution . His whole demeanor was great and gentle. Finally they were able to get me numb enough-to snatch that puppy out. The cost was also very fair. I paid 43.00 and my insurance paid 362.00 . The receptionist ( black woman ) was also very down to earth. She gave me the number of her hair dresser for my daughter ( who was allowed to sit in the waiting area while I was having my treatment done). Listen, if you have a dental emergency and your regular dentist is not available this is the place to go, fair pricing, kind, gentle and available. I can't thank them enough. I kept thinking " I wish I could leave a monetary tip lol !!!! Thanks again Dr. Shorey, Chris and the wonderful front office woman .

The only negative thing I can say it that I told them I am in recovery and I don’t want narcotics. I just wanted antibiotics for tooth infection. I didn’t look at my prescription before I left and it was for narco and no antibiotics. I guess it’s my fault for not looking first. However I made it a point to tell them. Dr. S is awesome. I have a raging infection in my jaw bone and he’s doing everything he can to make me well, comfortable, and to save my tooth. This office also provides sedation if you have dental anxiety. Staff there are awesome. I am without dental insurance right now so I pay out of pocket. The price isn’t terrible. When I do get dental I will keep this place as my go to.

Most importantly, he wants you to be as pain free as possible and gently administers the numbing injections. Disregard the appearance of the ancient equipment, it works just fine. The care here is great and reasonably priced for an urgent care.

I went in on April 1st as I broke my front tooth. It was a Sunday and a holiday, but, was able to get an appointment to have my tooth looked at by Dr Shorey. It was temporarily glued back and was referred to a oral surgeon. The surgery went well and then went back to see Dr Shorey at the Emergency Dental Clinic on April 10th . He reglued my old front tooth while I wait 4 months or so for the new implanted tooth. He was even there to assist on the surgery. Very good care and great service.

Went there to on a holiday to get my crown cemented back on. The doctor cemented the crown without compeltely cleaning the crown off the previous cement. For his credit checked if the bite fits. After smoothing the crown to make the bite fit, left the room without saying anything or giving any instructions. Also they charge up front, which was weird.
