I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Ricci and his team! He is literally the best dentist I've ever had! He's very honest and always gives helpful advice. I went to Aspen Dental in the past (btw they are absolute crooks) and being a patient of Dr. Ricci's was a totally different experience. He never tries to oversell anything and puts the patient first rather than making the most profit. I had some tooth pain so called his office and he was able to squeeze me in same day. He and his team even stayed late to take images of my teeth to fit me for night guards. I am moving out of state soon but wish I could take Dr. Ricci with me! He is honestly the best and will really miss him

I am very impressed with Ricci Family Dentistry. Usually, Dr John Ricci treats me and he’s very kind, compassionate dentist who has a vast knowledge of not only dentistry but medical diseases which can affect your teeth. I called on Monday, after breaking a tooth, and they informed me that Dr Eric Ricci would be seeing me. I called when I arrived and the assistant helped me inside because I am on crutches. I wish I wasn’t horrible with names because both of the hygienists are amazing. I must admit I was a bit nervous but Dr Eric Ricci is an incredibly amazing dentist just like his father. I’m old fashioned and the fact that Ricci Family, really means family for two generations. Christina and Dr Eric Ricci provide the same excellent care that Dr John and Janet have provided for many years. Service for your smile with a smile. I also highly recommend purchasing the special toothpaste, I have already seen an improvement after only one month. I wish all of my physicians offices operated like Ricci Family Dentistry. I rate them with 100 gold stars ⭐️

My kids and I absolutely love going to Ricci Family Dentistry! Dr. Eric Ricci is great with my children and very interactive, which makes their experience at the dentist enjoyable! They’re always asking me when they are going back to the dentist! The environment right as you walk in the door is welcoming and very family oriented. The staff is always right there to greet you and they are very personable! They always treat my children and myself like we matter. My girls love coming, they always get to learn something new about dental health. Dr. Ricci even made a special trip to the office when my daughter had a mouth injury over Christmas vacation and checked out her front teeth to make sure there was no damage, which meant a lot to us seeing as it was Christmas Eve! There’s a lot to say about a dentist who takes their patients well being personal, and that’s exactly what he does. We will be going to this practice for a very long time! If you have the chance, check this practice out. It will be well worth your time!

I very rarely post reviews but would like to share how WONDERFUL my experience was with Ricci Family Dentistry. It is an excellent dental office! Dr. Eric Ricci saw me on a Saturday for an emergency visit and they were wonderful! Both Dr. Eric and Christina were very welcoming and kind during a time when I was very anxious and in a great deal of pain. Although I was going to need to see an Oral Surgeon they did everything they could to help me and my situation, including helping to find an Oral Surgeon and making sure referrals and x-rays were forwarded immediately. In addition to receiving excellent care, the office of Ricci Family Dentistry is clean, bright and creates a very relaxing atmosphere as soon as you walk in. An absolute 5 +++ for a rating!

I had the most pleasant experience this morning at Ricci Family Dentistry! Dr. Eric was very kind, caring, and professional and he is hands down the best dentist I have ever trusted with my teeth. I had a filling done and Dr. Eric made the experience amazing! The care that he puts into his work truly shows and makes the entire experience painless. He explained everything that he was doing and answered all of my questions, while being extremely patient. He really treats you like family and wants the best for his patients. Dr. Eric Ricci is truly one of the best. I never thought the day would come where I actually look forward to going to to the dentist, but it's here! When you go into the office, it feels like you have become a member of their family. Dr. Ricci took his time with me and explained exactly what steps I should take to improve my oral health. Clean and friendly atmosphere! Dr. Eric Ricci is, by far and away, the best dentist I have ever seen. This is saying a lot, because I have seen many dentists; going back years and for a multitude of complicated dental issues. I wish I had before and after pictures of my teeth to show people. Aside from his masterful dental work, Dr. Ricci is compassionate, friendly and dedicated to his craft. He always checks in with me during a procedure, and walks me through everything he is going to do. I never feel judged or anxious while in the chair. I met Dr. Ricci almost 30 years ago when I had to have an emergency procedure. I did not have a dentist at the time and a co-worker recommended his practice. From the very first time I walked into the office, I was so comfortable. Dr. John, his wonderful wife Janet, and their two children, Eric & Cristina, have become like family to me - and I am always treated the same by each of them. It's so hard to find dental or medical professionals who truly care, and the Riccis always go above and beyond. When I tell people that I spend my dental appointments laughing, they don't believe me, but both Dr. John and Dr. Eric have such a great sense of humor it's hard not to laugh! With the addition of Dr. Eric to the practice, there are new procedures and equipment, making this a top-flight dental practice. I am happy to say that I am a patient of Dr. Eric’s. I have always been a “white knuckle” person when it comes to having my teeth cleaned. Well, no more. Dr. Eric uses up to the minute technology in his office and that also goes for cleanings. He uses a method that utilizes a strong water stream to clean your teeth. No scraping, no pain. My teeth were as clean as they ever were, and I was totally relaxed and comfortable, this was a great new experience for me! Dr. Eric also did some work on my front teeth, matching the color of the filling perfectly, he took his time and used his expertise to make my teeth look exceptional. He is always concerned with his patient’s comfort and explains what he’s doing as he goes along. Dr. Eric has a great chair side manner, he really connects with his patients, you can tell he enjoys being a dentist. The office is super clean, modern, bright and comfortable. The atmosphere in the office is relaxed and friendly. The receptionist Christina is amazing as the first contact person, which can truly set the tone of your visit. She is always smiling and friendly, and is very accommodating when setting up appointments.

I had my first cleaning with Dr. Eric this morning. It was hands down the BEST dentist appointment I've ever had! This is coming from a girl who has always been deathly afraid of dentists, so much so that I avoided going for 8 years before today. Walking in, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was immediately comforted by the cozy family setting and the extremely sweet, welcoming receptionist (who is also part of the family!). Not only did Dr. Eric make sure that my cleaning was COMPLETELY painless, he was also extremely friendly and funny. I have been going to their office for some years now and always get great service! Now, I'm happy to say that my whole family goes to their office! The first time I went to an appointment with Dr. Ricci, I asked about his teeth whitening service. He smiled at me and said that it was more for people that smoke, drink lots of wine, etc. He said, "if you go down to the pharmacy and get yourself a nice shade of pink or red lipstick, your smile will look perfect! You don't need a whitening!". Since this moment, I knew I had found the right place! Instead of taking my money, he was honest about the results I would get! Love them very much! I heard about Dr. Ricci's practice from a friend of mine at work . I was hesitant at first because I've gone through so many dentists in my lifetime and I never found any of them that really took care of my teeth and my concerns like I thought they should be. When I went to Dr. Ricci they were very welcoming and I felt right at home. All of the crew are warm and pleasant to talk to and they understand what you're going through with no judgement. I had a lot of work done to my teeth I had root canals I had bridges I've had fillings and each time Eric Ricci worked on my teeth he did such a tremendous job. If your like me you don't like going to the dentist. Yet Dr. Ricci always makes you leave with a smile. I originally went in to get a chipped tooth fixed. Finally a dentist office where I feel comfortable.Family ran and They make you feel welcome to join them. Dr Eric only dentist who fixed a cap that 4 other dentist could not. Cap never stayed in more than 3 months with other dentist but Dr Eric got it first try and is still in place 1 1/2 year later. I recommend Ricci Family Dentist.

Dr. Ricci is a family man and maintains this feel in his office. He goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and show he cares. My nephew had a "tooth emergency" while on vacation so we called the office after hours. Not only did we get a phone call back the same night, his office followed up the following day to check in on the situation and to answer any further questions. When we got back from vacation, he then saw my nephew in his office. My personal experiences with him have also exceeded my expectations. Dr. Ricci does all the cleanings himself but you never feel he is rushing! He is thorough and personable throughout the visit. His staff is friendly and the office is kept very clean!! Dr ricci took me in as a new patient in September TWO days before my wedding! I called Friday and was able to be seen that day for massive face pain and swelling. I went in to find out I needed a root canal asap. With my wedding being Sunday dr Eric ricci and his staff went above and beyond getting me in with a oral surgeon that day to get my root canal. I can't thank Dr Ricci and his amazing staff enough for everything they have done for me. He even went out of his way to keep in touch with me after leaving the office that Friday to make sure I was taken care of at the oral surgeon and to see how it went. I recommend the Ricci's to everyone I know. They truly treat you like family and always make you feel comfortable. I even started taking my 8year old daughter there who is terrified of the dentist and they made sure she was completely comfortable and helped her relax. I am so lucky that I have been Dr. Ricci's patient since 2 years ago. Now that I am in my 40's, I have had many dentists in my life. I had a crown and other fillings done before elsewhere and with some of them, it took me over a year before I could get use to them (sensitivity to biting, temperature, etc...). Therefore, I embraced myself for another year of uncomfortable experience as a new patient of Dr. Ricci when I was told that I needed a crown a couple years ago . But the crown made for me by Dr. Ricci fit like a glove and did not even require any getting used to from the moment I had it. It was unbelievable. Dr. Ricci's are not only knowledgeable and talented, but they also have great partnerships with others such as technicians who made my crown or specialists like my orthodontist who was recommended by Dr. Ricci for my root canal. I did not realize I need all these groups of people, not just one great dentist, in order to get the best care for my teeth until I went to Dr. Ricci's office. It is very comforting to be their patient as both doctors are from one of the top dental schools and Dr. John Ricci even taught there. Because there are 2 doctors in the office, I get 2 professional opinions on the spot. In my recent visit, I had issues with my gum. The two doctors discussed and came up with a plan that best works for the longevity of my teeth and my finance. The hygienists and doctors always work together to find the best solution for my insurance. They are so conscientious of my insurance and they would recommend specialists based on my insurance network. I must also mention how friendly everyone is in his office and all of them are willing to take the time to explain everything on the treatment. They all make you feel so comfortable and welcome, which is just the icing on the cake on top of amazing treatment success, which is the number one factor for me in choosing a doctor. Thank you so much everyone at Dr. Ricci's!!!

This place is top notch. I've had my fair share of experiences with dentists out to maximize their "profit" per patient regardless of whether the procedure or action they recommend is in the patients best interest. Because of this I arrived at the Ricci Family Dentistry with my usual air of skepticism. By the end of my first visit I knew that Dr. Eric and his father were solely focused on the well-being of their patients. The two of them discussed my case with me and gave me an honest assessment of the situation along with a detailed account of my options. And after we found out that my insurance plan would not cover a replacement cap on one of my teeth they offered to do the procedure at cost. On my way out the door I was quick to book a follow-up with Christina, who I later found out is also a Ricci. This place is a true family establishment and their values seep into every aspect of their work. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

We recently took our three-year old daughter to Ricci Family Dentistry for her very first visit to the dentist. We were absolutely amazed by the overall experience. When you walk into the dental office, you quickly realize that it’s the antithesis of anything institutional, as you feel right at home! The cozy waiting room was very inviting and the office manager quickly greeted us and immediately built a wonderful rapport with my daughter. Being my daughter’s first visit, she was of course apprehensive. The office manager was so kind and patient and went so far as to sit in the dental chair and have our daughter sit on her lap. This act of kindness truly comforted my daughter and made the experience completely unintimidating. Dr. Eric exhibited the same level of care and kindness and knew exactly what to do and say to ease any fears that my daughter may have had. During the entire process, Dr. Eric was very communicative, explaining everything in terms that could be clearly understood by a non-dental professional. At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Eric actually let me observe him chart the visit in his EMR system so that I understood exactly what he was looking for during the examination. Dr. Eric is the perfect example of kindness, compassion and competency. If you have a young child and are looking for the perfect dentist, Ricci Family Dentistry is the place to go! Five stars, no, Ricci Family Dentistry deserves 5 thousand stars!

I was so pleased to see how his style of patient care and his mannerisms were so like his Dad's. If the incredible number of 5-star reviews here don't have you convinced yet, let me just say that you'll be hard-pressed to find a more professional, caring and -sincere- group of people than those at Ricci Family Dentistry. Years ago, while he was still a dental student at Tufts University in Boston, I had the privilege of being one of Dr. Eric's first patients. I've lost count of the number of appointments we had during his time there but, once he graduated, it was obvious where I'd be seeking my future dental care--though it *did* mean driving to another state! If you're looking for a dentist--and if you're fortunate enough to catch them accepting new patients--you're not going to do better than the Ricci's. And if you're not near Providence? Well, take my word for it, they're worth the trip. ;)

I had an accident a few years ago where I fell off my bike, knocked out a few teeth and cracked a bunch of teeth. Dr. Eric Ricci has been instrumental in my reconstructive dentistry. To date he has done four crowns and has been more than accommodating to my pain tolerance, come in during off hours to replace a temp that fell off, and has made the crowns fit very well. He is meticulous, and takes his job seriously (in a good way) without taking himself too seriously. I highly recommend for your dental needs. Plus, he takes care credit! As good as it gets! I have been going to Dr. Ricci for nearly 30 years now and have never had a bad experience. He is friendly, gentle and extremely knowledgeable. Found this beautiful place through my sister after not being able to see a dentist for a long time. super duper sweet staff and beautiful office, it's a very homey, comfortable and warm place to be. dr. eric (the son) was extremely helpful as well as his secretaries/nurses Nicole and others. Helped me figure out my pain problems and also suggested a much needed mouth guard that was more necessary than i had thought. made appointments and payments super duper easy and truly cared for me as a person and client. couldn't be happier. also amazing prices.
