I hadn’t been to the dentist in YEARS and was very nervous, but the team at Mind Your Mouth was so caring and mindful, it was a great experience! Emma, my dental hygienist was intentional about checking in on my anxiety and my teeth and gum sensitivities. I also loved their holistic approach. Would recommend this place to any fellow friends who also experience anxiety at the dentist!

Really truly the best dental experience I’ve had in Maine!! From the second you walk into the practice you feel relaxed and taken care of… even the dental chair has heated massage seats… the are also nice and gentle, my dental hygienist rocked and Dr. Paret was wonderful working with my unusual teeth. you just feel respected that your time and money variable and they do whatever they can to help .Overall wonderful - would totally recommend and thank yo my friend who recommended them to me!

Such a great experience! Emma was my hygienist today and she’s so great! She makes sure you’re totally comfortable throughout the entire x-ray/cleaning process, which is really important when it comes to dental work! All the staff there are super welcoming and friendly! Definitely recommend!

I had a really fantastic experience at Mind Your Mouth in South Portland, ME this morning. This was my first dental x ray and cleaning since 2017 (yeah yeah....). This is a very unique, wholistic minded dentist office that is also a yoga studio and wellness center! They are very inclusive, very reassuring, professional, thorough and efficient. I had a full exam and x ray along with suggestions to consult a physical therapy specialist for tmj issues and coaching for stress reduction. I'm very pleased and actually look forward to returning, which says a lot for someone who has avoided the dentist for 5 years.

The team at Mind your Mouth was super accommodating, patient and gentle. I signed up for the yearly membership which seems like a great deal. I needed a crown and was talked through all of my options comparably, thoroughly and honestly. I’m so excited to see where their total wellness program goes, specifically how dental hygiene and full physical and mental health can be incorporated with one another. Sounds like a no brainer! Kind of surprised it’s not done this way more often. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

As a patient who has always had moderate to severe anxiety when it comes to visiting the dentist (with past experiences at other facilities ranging from tears to panic attacks!), I cannot overstate how thrilled I am to have found Mind Your Mouth after just my first visit for a preliminary cleaning! My hygienists were kind, friendly, and gentle, and also extremely communicative, checking in repeatedly to see how I was during my cleaning. They also had clearly read through my patient history, and referenced specifics from it on multiple occasions, without being prompted by me. When Dr. Paret came in to check my teeth, she was everything I could have hoped for; just like the rest of her team, she is kind, gentle, and thorough. I felt truly cared for on an individual level, and felt that my personal issues and needs were important, and met! I am actually looking forward to my next visit! I highly recommend these offices for any and all of your dental needs.

Finding Mind Your Mouth Dentistry is the best thing that has happened to me in awhile. Dr Paret and Emma and the entire staff were amazing and took very good care of me. Amazing first visit to MYM! Everything from the check in process to the cleaning and exam was flawless. The exam was super thorough and I love that it feels more like a yoga studio than a dentist office. Today was my first time going to Mind Your Mouth to get a full mouth consultation and xrays. I myself have had some very horrible experiences in the past at other dental places, the people here at mind your mouth were super super friendly and hospitable and took great care to make me comfortable and very gentle. I cant wait to go back and get my filling done! If I could rate 10 stars I would!

It’s a very nice place to take your child and family for dental appointments, my daughter was most comfortable and the services were perfect. All staff were awesome and the hygienist and Dr answered our questions perfectly well. It’s a place i totally recommend and I am coming back. Atmosphere was nice beautiful with a colorful environment. Guess what , they have so many stuff colorful animals for kids with you just having to collect tickets with each visit you make
