Great office! Wendy up front was very helpful answering questions I had about my insurance, the assistant who took my X-rays (sorry I didn’t get your name!) was efficient and quick. I felt Dr Wold was very kind and honest about my dental needs. Jessica who did my cleaning was great, she’s the sweetest and I can tell she really cares about the work she does! Overall it felt everyone was confident and well practiced which adds to me feeling like this was the most comfortable dentist appointment I’ve ever had!

After hearing daunting news with VERY expensive treatment plans from 2 other dentists, a friend told me about Higley Groves Dental. I wanted desperately to find a dentist that would help me prioritize what needed attention first and not do anything that wasn’t absolutely necessary. When I went online to schedule an appointment, I was truly so excited when they began texting me right away! They were also able to fit me into their schedule within just a few days! Dr Wold was compassionate and caring and helped me prioritize. His desire to be less invasive was what I was looking for and I am so thankful! Their pricing has been lower than the others as well. I actually cried on my way out the door after getting my treatment plan because I was so relieved and thankful! I have now had 2 crowns and a cleaning with them and every experience has been as good as it could be. Their entire staff has been fantastic! Thank you Higley Groves Dental! All of you have made going to the dentist a much better experience!

The dental hygienist is very personable and comforting and the dentist genuinely makes you feel cared for and heard. I’ve always had anxiety towards going to the dentist. Wow! I called with very uncomfortable tooth pain, unsure of the problem. Staff was so helpful on the phone and got me in for an appointment right away. I do not love going to the dentist on a good day, but I definitely was feeling the heightened anxiety of walking in with a serious problem. They immediately put me at ease and I actually enjoyed this appointment so much despite having to have a tooth fixed! This visit was certainly long overdue, and I appreciate their approach to fixing my pain level first and helping me gameplan for future second. Truly grateful that the doc was just so upfront and honest with me, saved us both a lot of time and headache, but saved my wallet even more. It was such a relief on every level today. Looking forward to being back in their chair for routine visits soon - I think we've found our dental home!

We have been patients for around 18 years, that should say how we feel about Dr Wold and his staff. Today my husband and I went for cleaning. I was telling the hygienist about my dry mouth and swallowing problems. She took extra care and checking my tongue, throat and the glands along my neck. She suggested some thing for me to use at night for my dry mouth and told me where I could buy it. She was absolutely totally amazing. I wish I could remember her name, I’m not good at that. However, I still rate this dental office with a five star. Everyone there is wonderful.

Jeff took the time to discus a few dental issues and offer practical solutions (including leaving a tooth as is). Frankly, I’ve experienced OTHER dentists of whom I’m convinced have either very high-end rates or recommend borderline unnecessary procedures to pay for a sailboat, huge wedding, etc. (true circumstances). So happy to have found this practice.

Dr. Wold had been my dentist until I moved to Phoenix about 5 years ago. I found out my dentist in Phoenix left this "comprehensive medical office" along with this dental staff when I needed to see him urgently, due to bad tooth pain. No one at the medical office knew (or wanted to tell me) where he went! The tooth pain progressively got worse and I could not take the pain any more. I left a voicemail on Christmas weekend (speaking of bad timing!) at Dr. Wold's office, out of desperation, to see if I can get an emergency appointment. Office staff contacted me first thing on Monday and managed to get me in on the same day. I cannot express my appreciation enough for the office staff and Dr. Wold, who answered all my questions with great patience and care. Thank you!

I always feel treated personally whether it is for a basic exam and cleaning or for more involved treatment. My previous dentist of 12 years recently retired so I was in the market for a new office. I spoke with my neighbor, who is a dental hygienist herself and has worked with many dentists in the East Valley, I told her my concerns that I feel many dentist are very “salesman like” and try to pressure patients into getting unnecessary work done under the guise of being proactive . She highly recommended Dr. Wold. She had worked with him in the past and assured me he was exactly the type of dentist to fit my needs. More on the conservative side, honest and non pressuring and when he says work needs to be done you can believe him. My first appointment was today and I was pleased with the experience. Friendly front office staff. Mari the hygienist was quick, non aggressive but detailed and thorough. She explained everything she was doing prior to starting. Dr Wold was warm and professional. I will definitely be returning to this office and have already referred other family members.

Let me start off by saying I am not generally a fan of going to the dentist. I’ve had a couple bad experiences which have caused me to develop a lot of anxiety around going to the dentist. After suffering all weekend with excruciating tooth pain, I called Higley Groves Dental first thing Monday morning and they were able to get me in within the hour! It turned out I needed a Root Canal. Dr. Wold is incredibly kind and was genuinely concerned about my care. He was able to do the procedure right then to ensure I wouldn’t have to endure any more pain. I am so grateful to this staff! They are amazing!!

My wife Miriam and I have been going to Higley Grove Dental for about 10 years now. Dr Wold is amazing!! Miriam has anxiety issues and hated going to the dentist. Our insurance paid for free cleanings but she refused or reluctantly went even if her mouth hurt. When we started with Higley Groves it has been night and day. Dr Wold has been great with a prescription to help her while she does cleanings or other work she has needed. In the 10 years we have rarely missed an appointment. The support staff is equally skilled, kind and patient. There is no other place we'd rather go!!

Dr Wold is great. Most honest dentist around. Rather than replace a crown that chipped, he was able to fill the chip. I expected a bill in the hundreds and was only charge $61. Integrity is the best way to describe this practice. Update: that crown finally came off, I contacted Dr Wold at 7:15 in the morning and they fit me in for an emergency temporary crown at 8:00 AM the same day. Great service. 2 years later update. On Saturday I had a veneer come off. I told the Dr I was prepared to replace it, instead he determined it was fully.intact and just needed to be reapplied. $41 later and my smile looks great again. A more honest dentist cannot be found.

The place was clean but very dated. It looked like it had been a while since improvements had been done to the equipment or inside the office. The only thing to look at in the chair was a giant screen with a picture of the Dentists family on it, I found this to be a little offputting. After my cleaning I felt like I was in a church interview as he asked me questions about my personal life, and chit chatted instead of staying professional and talking about the condition of my teeth. Their saving grace was the amazing job done by my hygienist. She was professional and obviously good at what she does. I don't go to the dentist to make friends or figure out what we have in common. I want to get in and out asap because I have better things to do. All in all it was just ok.
