Lola and Ricardo were absolutely perfect ! Lola was very efficient with taking my x-rays and was always making sure I was okay; asking if anything was bothering me or if I wanted her to adjust me to be more comfortable. As for Ricardo, he was super sweet and very thorough with the cleaning. He makes it really easy to talk to him and makes you feel at home during the whole process. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Everyone is very kind and they make sure you know you’re the priority(:

All the staff at the front desk are very friendly, helpful and informative. Dr Wheeler did an excellent job fitting me for a bridge. It had to cover the span of 3 back teeth, and it fit perfectly. Ashley is a wonderful dental hygienist. She is very friendly and always makes you feel comfortable. She does a great job cleaning my teeth. I'm glad she was assigned to be my hygienist. I highly recommend Goodyear Family Dentistry.

We are new to the area and are rebuilding our healthcare providers. I found Goodyear Family Dentistry on yelp, read the positive reviews, and decided to give them a call. They were able to see me the very same day I called, utilized very updated tech for my X-rays, and provided clear information and a very comfortable experience. The ladies at the front desk were welcoming, my hygienist was very engaging, and the doctor was very friendly, explaining everything very clearly and laying out my options for treatment. The office was clean, modern, and comfortable as well with easy ample parking. I enjoyed the experience and will be back!

Dr. Wheeler and staff are amazing. They explain what will be done along with options and make sure all questions are answered for all their patients. Dr. Kallen Wheeler, Ricardo, Mya, and Ruth were amazing! Walked in and from the start they were kind and ready to help. Mya was great at explaining the process and X-rays. What an amazing office! Nobody likes going to the dentist. I don't either... but I HAVE to say, I LOVE this place! For business purposes, I was there at 2pm on 29 March 😉 everyone was amazing and I actually was seen 30 min early! Unheard of! Many of the staff already know my personality when I walk in the door. Everyone is loving and I get the important impression that the work area is a happy one. Love you all! Dr., thanks for your honest evaluation 🤗 UPDATE: I have been here a few times now and I still LOVE it! Something important I forgot to mention in my original review is that this office uses the latest practices, technology, and materials. I noticed zero change in my billing, but this might depend on insurance? I probably have slightly less than mediocre insurance so most people should feel safe here!

I was at Goodyear Family Dentistry for a second opinion. First, the reception employees were very friendly and greeted me when I walked in the door. Secondly, the tech was calling my name only after a few minutes of waiting. The tech was very enthusiastic and communicated every move she was going to make. She also explained the difference in some dental issues such as periodontal disease and receding gums. After she was finished, the second tech cleaned my teeth. She was very nice and gentle since she knew I had receding gums. Then, I waited a bit for the doctor. However, the lady from the reception area communicated that the doctor will be in shortly. It is understandable to wait a bit for the doctor since they are seeing other patience at the same time. Dr. Wheeler was very professional, asked a few questions, was very personable and made me feel comfortable with the dental exam. I absolutely recommend Goodyear Family Dentistry. Thank you for the excellent service!

Like many others, I struggled to find a good dentist. That was of course until I met the team at Goodyear Family Dentistry. I came in recently with severe pain in my already crowned tooth and the diagnosis after testing was needing a root canal. Dr. Carbajal was able to get me taken care of and back to work the same day of the procedure. Professional, courteous, and overall amazing staff. I went back 2 weeks later for an actual exam and cleaning and again was beyond impressed. Ashley is an amazing hygienist and Mya was a great assistant. If you are looking for a dentist that actually cares for his patients then I would highly recommend the team at Goodyear Family Dentistry, where you are treated like family.

This place is the best!! Was sent here by the VA for a review, cleaning and fix old fillings. They called me immediately after the VA contacted them, and made me an appointment. Front desk receptionists were professional and checked me in quickly. Back to the appointment on time and greeted with very professional staff. Cleaning was expertly done and painless. Dr. Wheeler confirmed VA findings, set up appt time almost immediately and I was out the door. Great fun people to work with, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I’m new to AZ so I needed to find a dentist office to get my routine cleanings done. Came across this place and gave them a try. I believe Ashley (I’m so sorry if that’s not her name) did my cleaning and she was thorough from the beginning with taking pics and X-rays as well as the cleaning. She was gentle, not rough at all and I appreciated that. When it can to the exam Dr Wheeler came in and explained what they saw and told me what he recommended. It was a hard pill to swallow because I’m really good at taking care of my teeth but things do happen and I’m only getting older. The front desk was helpful and broke down price and I booked right away. I have a phobia with the dentist so I knew if I didn’t do it I wasn’t coming back anytime soon. 2 wks later I was back in the chair having 1 of 2 procedures done and silently freaking out. I opted to getting laughing gas because I knew I wouldn’t make it through with my anxiety. Just when I was about to be full blown into an attack, the hygienist Giselle came through with the nitrous oxide. She even turned on something for me to watch. It was calm from there and the dr explained what he was doing and I was out of it for the rest of the root canal. I had to get this done due to some unknown trauma to my front tooth that started causing me pain. I then had to come back the next day to have my fillings replaced. They weren’t doing the job of keeping my teeth in tact and like I said my teeth are important to me. Second day was good as well. Giselle was awesome, provided me with the laughing gas because it was 5 that had to be fixed. The dr was great and kept me informed on what he was doing. They even played some good music for me! Lol #Beyonce Over all this is a great office. From the front desk to the hygienists I felt at ease after the initial start. I would recommend them and they will be my dentist going forward.

Both the dentist and hygienist, Ricardo, were so patient and understanding and spoke to me with compassion and not only ensured I received top-notch care and education. But, also ensured I was receiving help for my mental health. Ricardo took his time during my cleaning, which was so important to me, he was extremely thorough, and so personable, and ensured I wasn’t in pain the whole time in his chair. I haven't been to the dentist in a bit, so I just happened to stop in while my daughter was at her dentist next door. They were able to get me in for a checkup the very next day! The front office staff was amazing and helped explain everything when it came to the insurance. The gal who took my x-rays and the gal who cleaned my teeth were so sweet! The doctor was great, and I felt he was very honest with what he told me. AND I also got a goodie bag, which I never received that from a dentist office!! I had my first teeth cleaning today at this office. I was shopping for a dentist closer to my house. I am super impressed with the office + staff! Front desk was super nice and quick with paperwork which is usually rare! The dentist Assistant was super quick + kind. My hygienist, Ricardo I believe, was amazing. I’m always nervous when I go to any dentist office, but he made me very comfortable and is great at his job! I have actually never had a male hygienist before and wasn’t looking forward to that, but he changed my mentality! I will always request him. The dentist came in after my cleaning and was great as well! The whole office gets 5 stars, and i highly recommend it. I will be telling my friends and family as well.

This office is amazing. I called 4 different offices for an emergency appointment and everyone else give me a date 3 weeks out without asking me any questions. I called this office and the front desk was amazing to say the least. Ruth was nice and attentive and really listened to my needs and got me in within 15 mins of my call. Had my follow up cleaning appointment @11am......., on schedule👍; kudos to their oral hygienist, self professed perfectionist(OCD), getting the job done first time & not afraid to recall patients for additional treatments!🤗😛 1/21/2021...... 4 month follow-up visit went well ; in and out in 45 mins . Scheduled next visit in the next 4 months.... no hick ups. Very Happy with customer service🤗👍👍👍👍👍 10/14/2022……..I had my routine follow- up yesterday, scheduled for 11 am; I was running late and was able to check-in at 10:57 am. Sure enough, I was called in at exactly 11am. Dental cleaning was promptly started right after my x-rays, courtesy of Ricardo’s flawless handling. Incidentally, he cautioned me about playing touch football for the first time ! Delighted to meet Dr. Carvajal for the first time, who by the way has taken good care of my wife’s partials👍……Great job Team Goodyear Family Dentistry!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely amazing. I’m terrified of the dentist and haven’t been in over 5 years. I had a tooth that needed to be pulled, and I thought I’d never be able to say this, but it was an amazing experience getting the tooth pulled. The entire staff from the front desk, x-rays, hygienist, and the dentist are amazing. They all have great relationships amongst themselves which make for a great time in the office. My face only hurt when I left, from laughing and smiling so much. I will definitely be returning and setting up routine dental visits, which will be a first for me as I normally avoid the dentist. THE BEST DENTISTRY EVER!! I was so scared, nervous and paranoid. I hate everything about going to the dentist BUT!!!! These people are so awesome!! The kept me calm and soothed me the entire process. They did a wonderful job informing me of things I didn't know with my previous dentist and charges as well as that my youngest child had been dropped from my insurance plan which was crazy. I am completely satisfied with doctor Wheeler and the entire staff in this practice. Doctor Wheeler's expertise, professionalism and friendly manner instilled confidence in me throughout the entire process. I had lost a large filing in a hard to reach, upper molar. (#2) When I contacted this office I was given an appointment to see doctor Wheeler that same day. After a comprehensive exam, x-rays and cleaning, he developed a treatment plan that included a root canal and Crown. I am happy to say that within 3 days the root canal, permanent filing and temporary Crown were all completed. And thanks to doctor Wheeler's skill I was pleased that all of these procedures were pain free. I look forward to seeing doctor Wheeler again for the placement of my permanent Crown. The entire staff at Goodyear family dental was a pleasure to work with. The very capable and pleasant technicians that assisted doctor Wheeler put me at ease and took great care of me from the very beginning. The front office staff made a great 1st impression. Also commendable was their professional guidance in scheduling appointments, working with my insurance, and billing. Many great things to say about this place. If you are like me and get nervous around medical/dental people, then hopefully my review will give you some peace of mind. So like any business review, mine will be composed of three parts: staff, location/facility, and services. Staff - The staff is great, friendly, professional yet personable, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. I've looked at many facilities for dental needs when trying to find who I'm comfortable with. The staff greets when you walk in the door and you immediately feel cared for. It's definitely a family dentistry and you feel the warmth. They understand how to explain things to you that its understandable yet you can still walk away having learned something. Location/Facility - The area is very clean and modern in appearance yet welcoming. At times, design and equipment can make a place feel like you are walking into a workshop and receiving a service instead of seeing you dental team. This place has all the right feelings and is very comfortable. They took all precautions, given the time frame, to keep the public safe and healthy. The chairs are comfortable, the mirrors are clean, the equipment is not unbearable and it is actually enjoyable. The feeling can be compared to a day in the life at a dental office. I felt welcome and comfortable at the facility. There was plenty of parking, everything was labeled, both apple and google GPS had no issues providing directions. Service - The service here was by far the best I have received in all my dental maintenance. I had my teeth cleaned, x-rays taken, fluoride applied, and throughout the entire process the staff was aware, attentive and responsive. They showed how to floss correctly, explained dental anatomy, and were very informative. The entire time I felt like I knew these people and I was very comfortable. They checked in often if I was in any pain, or I needed anything, how I was doing, I was well cared for. The staff, location/facility, and services are worth the drive as I live far from the location but the best health care is preventative maintenance. Your smile is often the first thing people notice about you (or your teeth between words if you don't smile) and I am confident and I trust Goodyear Family Dentistry with my dental care and hygiene.
