I'm terrified to come to the dentist. I literally was in tears walking to the back. The hygienist I met was the sweetest kindest most patient person. She was gentle and so detailed with everything. Dr. Murray was absolutely kind even though my anxiety was through the roof he didn't seem annoyed by that when every dentist I've met has been. I truly felt like he wanted to do what's best for ME, every where I had went it felt like they just wanted money and not what was best but I didn't feel that here. I'm actually looking forward to returning to start the process to fix my teeth and have a smile I've wanted my whole life!! Thank you to all the kind staff yesterday I've never in my life been so excited to come back to a dentist office!

I happened upon OKC smiles when looking for a dentist close to my home who did dentures. I called probably 10 different dental offices before getting Renee at OKC Smiles. She was able to answer all of my questions and was just so pleasant. I made an appointment and I am so glad I did. Dr. Phan is awesome and all the girls are just so sweet and welcoming. I have to say, everyone is so nice but especially Tracy and Renee. They are just precious! I would highly recommend Dr. Phan and OKC Smiles. #1 in opinion for a beautiful new smile!

We've taken our kiddos to a few dentist and always left feeling like we overpaid and were undercared for. We absolutely LOVE OKC Smiles. They were so kind and personal and extremely efficient. They were able to do our first examination and fill my daughters cavity all in the same trip! Dr. Phan even called us in the evening to check on my daughter. This office is a bit of a drive for us but 100% worth it! So glad we found them!

OKC Smiles always goes above and beyond! I was seen for the Red Light Therapy for a cold sore..and every time I go they always make me feel so welcome and understood! They get me in and out in no time and always manage to squeeze me in. I 100% recommend!!!

My visit at OKC smiles once again was absolutely fantastic! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. My dental hygienist Chelsea always greets me with a smile and does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth and educating me on the best practice of keeping my teeth healthy! I've had work completed by both Dr. Phan & Dr. Murray both take time out to explain the treatment plan and answer all my questions before starting treatment. They both are very knowledgeable and skilled. Great Place to have Dental Work!! Highly recommend them!!

My first visit was awesome! As soon as I walked in, I felt the Staffs' friendliness with their welcoming smiles! Ms. Brooklyn is very nice! Though, my appointment was for a dental evaluation only when I mentioned I needed cleaning she checked with front office if there's still time for her to do it. Since I arrived early, they accommodated my dental cleaning without having me to come back again. Saves me time from taking off work again. She asked me all the time if I have questions. She took time to explain every step and procedure and the details of the treatment plan. Ms. Darian was patient walking me through the financial aspect. I thought they will be expensive but came out reasonable. And Dr. Murray took time to do his checking and evaluation. I did not feel the haste nor that he is on a timed visit with me. Unlike with other doctor's you feel they are in a hurry. I wish I had come to them sooner instead of staying for 14 long years with my former dentist. OKC Smiles made me feel valued and important! Great experience!

OKC Smiles is the best dental experience my family’s ever had. The entire staff is extremely kind and go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and doing well. I’ve had several procedures done by Dr. Murray. He did an excellent job. I have never felt any pain and was actually relaxed because of how well I was taken care of by the staff. I ate a piece of fresh corn on the cob today. I hadn’t been able to do this for years and it’s all thanks to my new denture implants, Dr. Murray and his staff put in. My number one concern was pain when eating with my old dentures. Dr Murray took care of the pain and also provided me with a more confident smile. Y’all. I cannot say enough good things about this place and these people. My husband has had an infection in a broken tooth for weeks. He went to another dentist and was given the runaround and ultimately ended up suffering for another week when all he wanted was the tooth extracted. I called OKC Smiles at 7:25 in the morning and told them our situation. The kindest woman listened to me and was able to squeeze him in at 8 o’clock. He said the staff was very friendly and helpful and saved the day!! We are so grateful for them getting him in and taken care of.

Going to the dentist is something I take very serious, I've always believed your smile is everything, therefore, I'm quite picky with finding a dentist. My dentist of many years had retired and I had tried a couple that I simply wasn't happy with at all before I happened onto OKC Smiles, and I couldnt be happier! Let me start off by saying that OKC Smiles has the greatest staff that goes above and beyond! The team is always professional as well as passionate about what they do and the part each plays! Chelsey has been nothing less than fantastic and I always look forward to my visits with her. My experience with them started about a year ago when I was simply looking for a dentist in the OKC area. I stumbled upon this location on Google and it already had excellent reviews! My first visit was a little nerve-wracking because it had been a little more than a year since my last visit with a dentist. Naturally, I thought I was going to require a bit of work to be done, but in the end the only thing I needed was a deep cleaning. OKC Smiles is closed on Fridays, and this was the only day I could get in. I needed this dental check-up for a job I had applied for and accepted, but in the end Chelsey took the time to fix her personal schedule and take time away from her family to assist me in my dental needs! This is what keeps me coming back! What this staff does and their selfless devotion to give back to the community and to making the world a better place, are reasons that I will continue to visit them time and time again! 6 out of 5 stars…..would 100% recommend!

I have never posted a review about any company, but had to for Dr. Phan. I have not had the best experiences with dental work before coming to OKC Smiles, and find it very difficult to trust a dentist. Dr. Phan, Tracy, Renee and his other team members are gentle and patient, and I have never had better dental work. You would be in the very best hands with Dr. Phan, I trust him implicitly and it is very difficult for me to say this about any dentist. Renee is the office manager and is also so kind and professional, she makes dealing with dental costs a breeze and exudes a gentle understanding. Tracy has been Dr. Phan dental assistant for many of my procedures and she is gracious and caring, I just can't say enough about this team! Thank you Dr. Phan for always being informative, professional, calling to check on me, and having expert technique, you are the bomb!

I have had less than great experiences at the dentist in my lifetime. After reading reviews, I decided to give OKC smiles a chance. I have been to their office a handful of times now and I have had a great experience every time. They don’t make you wait long (if at all) in the waiting room and they treat you like a priority. The staff is great. The ladies up front are always pleasant and the dental hygienists and assistants treat you as if you’re their only patient. My dentist, Dr. Phan, always takes time to answer my questions and makes sure I’m never in pain. If you’re looking for a new dentist’s office, I highly recommend OKC Smiles.

I had a check-up and even had their whitening (their Fall promo). It was an absolute great experience (coming from a person reluctant for dentist visits, it should say a lot). They made sure to do an efficient and thorough job throughout my entire visit. I was able to meet Dr. Murray and much of the staff (Brooklyn, Dominic, etc.) since they were making sure I was attended to in a timely manner. You can definitely see the teamwork that makes the office run so smoothly. Friendly and well-trained staff all around! Highly recommend!!

Can't believe they got me in so quick when I chipped my front tooth. I called my regular dentist who could not get me in until January but OKC Smiles was great! They performed Zoom whitening and then bonded my front tooth in the same afternoon!! I am so grateful since we have photos coming up. I had horrible experiences with other dental offices in MOORE/OKC area, I came to OKC SMILES on a whim hoping I can get seen last minute. The staff is PHENOMENAL from the initial phone call to all 3 of my visits within one week. If you want to be CARED for while getting awesome dental work, come here . I recently switched over to OKC Smiles because they offer sedation dentistry. My first visit was a general cleaning etc to get established and Chelsey (who is also my sis-in-law) cleaned my teeth and made me feel right at ease. I have some nervousness when it comes to Dr offices etc but I was very comfortable. I also just had some work done there earlier today and did the sedation. It was amazing and I highly recommend it if you are nervous about dental work. I can’t remember the name of the girl that helped me today, but she was awesome and Dr. Murray is a very gentle and calm doctor which is always great.

I am always late for everything (lol)...this review is in relation to my Thursday September 20, 2018 appointment. I have been going to this dental office for over a year (my initial review is on yelp) and I must say I am still impressed. This staff is more like a family with one another and it shows because it transfers to their patients. Most places, if they are not assisting you, they ignore you in passing...not here. There is customer service friendly and there is that GENUINE friendliness and OKC smiles shows genuine CONSISTENT care and friendliness to everyone. Gina, who is absolutely amazing, (treats you like a friend versus just another patient) assisted me with getting gum therapy and I was pleasantly satisfied with the results. For it to be dental work, it was not bad at all. The staff always provides a detailed explanation of what your insurance will cover and what the out of pocket will be. If you have a fear of visiting the dentist, this staff will help you forget those fears (I even got my fiancé to switch over, and he was impressed)! Thank you Gina & the OKC Smiles crew for always being great!!!

This is the best dental office I've ever been to! I've gone here and also taken my kids. My 8 year old had a root canal and I had my 4 month old with me and everyone was so nice and accommodating and offered to help with the baby and made sure I knew I could go see how my 8 year old was doing at any point. 8 year old was not scared at all and had a great experience. I knew they would be great based on the reviews, but they exceeded my expectations! I’ve had bad experiences at other dental offices in the past, to the point that I had anxiety about visiting a dentist again, but OKC Smiles has finally changed that for me. From the moment I called to make an appointment to my first visit, they made sure I felt comfortable and at ease. The dental hygienist, Chelsey, and Dr. Phan were very friendly and genuine. Chelsey took the time to listen, ask important questions, and walked me through every single thing that she would be doing and even the tools she was using and their purpose. All in a way that wasn’t intimidating, but more of a down to earth and fun conversation. Also, all my financial questioned were all answered and I was never pressured into making any desisions for future treatments. Overall, it was such a great experience and made a huge impact on changing my anxiety about going to the dentist. I look forward to going back!

I definitely enjoyed my experience at OKC smiles. All the employees were super nice and made you feel at home. I came in for wisdom teeth and to be honest I was terrified but Dr. Mark and Chelsey made me feel very comfortable and safe throughout the entire thing . They answered by questions, helped me with some of the 'big kid' paperwork and really go that extra mile to make you feel comfortable!! As a kid with braces, I dreaded going to the orthodontist for follow-up appointments or other painful procedures to transform my very poor dental health to one that was healthy and happy (happiness was not present until my braces were off). I never had a regular dentist with routine cleanings or follow-up appointments on my dental health, so even planning on having a regular dentist at 22 years old was a mental obstacle for me. My husband and I began searching for dentist offices in the OKC area a year ago and he stumbled upon an advertisement for OKC Smiles. He called their number and set up appointments for us both. To be honest, I was very nervous about my first appointment - with my history with the orthodontist and lack of a regular dentist, it was almost life-changing for me when I walked through that door on that day. All I can say now is that I have never felt more comfortable, safe and welcome at a dentist office than I do at OKC Smiles. The staff are very knowledgeable in their field and treat you with an abundance of kindness and respect and are humorous and positive; they surely do take care of you. My experience with OKC Smiles was great. The first time I called the office I spoke to Renee, and she was absolutely amazing. She helped me work through my anxiety issues about going to the dentist. I use to have to do the sedation process just to make myself go to the dentist, but since I have started going to OKC Smiles I no longer have to do that. I have nothing bad to say about OKC Smiles, The people are great, and tell you exactly what is going on, I would recommend anyone to OKC Smiles. So so thankful I came here ❤😭 -Original Review Below- I metabolize anesthesia very quickly, so the dentist has always been an extremely painful experience for me... which led me to not go to the dentist for 4-5 years. I decided it was time to try again, so I went to get a cleaning at OKC Smiles (because they offer sedation/are well reviewed). Gina, my dental assistant, was extremely careful and attentive with my general cleaning--no gum knicks or scrapes. Turns out I had SIX cavities, and they had me come in the following week to get fillings done. I chose to go with the conscious oral sedation. Dr. Phan did SUCH a great job! He made sure I was 100% numb, and when the anesthesia just barely started to wear off, he immediately numbed me again! I had to go in the next day so they could correct my bite properly (because I kept accidentally biting my tongue), and I wasn't scared at all. I felt very safe and about as relaxed as you can get while having dental work done haha Price-wise, they are pretty good too! Like, literally I cannot recommend this dentist enough. Sounds pretty cheesy, but this place has changed my life! I don't have to be afraid of the dentist anymore! Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend OKC Smiles! I am so so happy with my teeth, and SO relieved I found a dentist I can trust to make me completely numb! tl;dr 10/10!!! Dr. Phan is a PHENOMENAL dentist, and Gina is a GREAT dental assistant!! All of the staff are SO wonderful, kind, and attentive! If you have BIG anxiety over the dentist--the sedation is great! Prices are pretty good too!

I have never been to dentist's other than to have a tooth pulled. I recently needed to make some decisions for my health and appearance. I went to several other dentist prior to going to OKC Smiles. I have never felt as valued as a patient or person as this place makes you feel. All the other places that I was seeking help, the amount of money they would receive only had value, I was just the resource to get their money. I had 6 teeth pulled, several fillings, other cosmetic stuff done and a temporary flipper or partial put in. My fear and anxiety of just going and being there was a 11 out of 10. With this staff and dentist Kevin Murray I was brought to a 3 or 4 quickly. My future visits will be 1 or less. I cannot express enough about the amount of peace and comfort they give you about the process and procedure. My dentist even called to check on me that evening. I am in awe on how great this place and people are. Thanks for everything!

Highly Recommend! I had a fear of dentists due mishaps in the past, however they took me in, and was extremely friendly, and treated me like a friend. I've only recently moved to Oklahoma and was looking for some immediate relief from an infected and broken wisdom tooth. From the moment I called it was difficult to not smile and feel comfortable and at ease. They made the procedure quick and comfortable. They explained all of my options thoroughly and with perfectly valid reasons, but still didn't push me outside of my comfort zone due to my personal finances. I should mention the accommodated me the same day I called in. I've never in my life had that happen with any dentist I'd been to. I was worried for her because having my wisdom teeth removed was a terrible experience and the days that followed were rough. When I entered OKC Smiles, I was literally greeted with warming smiles. The receptionist was very welcoming, and instructed me on what I needed to do. Never for a moment was I unsure or confused about the process, because all of the employees make sure you know exactly what is going on. I was referred to OKC Smiles by a friend of mine, and I was a little skeptical at first, as I have used numerous dentists in OKC that were not great. Upon entering the office for the first time, I felt comfortable almost immediately. The space is nice and clean, like lots of other dentists' offices that I have visited. The waiting room is roomy, which doesn't seem necessary, because every time I have been there, plenty of seats are available, which tells me that they do not overbook appointments. The ladies that work in the office greet you with a smile, and offer a new toothbrush, floss, and toothpaste(as well as mouthwash) to use in the extremely clean restroom. Nice touch for those of us who forget to floss and brush teeth prior to their appointment. All of the Dental Hygienists display both confidence and friendliness, and are very knowledgeable and skilled. They are equipped with all the modern dentistry equipment that you would expect from a modern dental office, and each of the staff members is proficient using this equipment. I haven't met Dr. Stalder, or Murray, but Dr. Phan is very personable and skilled. I have had the wonderful experience of having almost 10 Root Canal/Crown procedures over the years(apparently, my parents believe that dentistry is a scam), I can honestly say that the experiences I've had with this office have been way more pleasant than with other dentist offices. So if you're new in the area and searching for a dental service for you and your family, or the dentist you have is not working for you, I can assure you that you will get great service, and a whole bunch of friendly faces, from OKC Smiles:). I have found a dentist office that the staff and doctors are kind, courteous, gentle and overall care about their patients anxiety, concerns and dental health. It had been over 25+ years since I had been to a dentist. As a kid I had many horrible experiences with dentists which caused me too never want to go back as an adult. But after many many long nights of hurting and the over the counter pain medicines weren't working anymore, I knew it was time to seek help. I knew that I'd need some form of "sedation dentistry" so I Googled sedation dentistry in Oklahoma City and found OKC Smiles. From the very first phone call with the front desk staff I already felt calmer because they were kind and answered every single little question I had. My first appointment went much better than I had expected. They determined what I needed done first (I had a cracked back tooth that was causing me tremendous mouth and jaw pain) and got me quickly scheduled for a root canal. On that visit I was taken to the room and was explained what exactly they would be doing during the procedure. I received my sedation medicines, got a warm blanket to cover up with, a neck pillow and they turned the lights down. I was so much calmer by that point that I forgot I was in a dentist office. The procedure went great! The dentist, Dr. Kevin Murray, was great! The medicines helped me calm down and relax along with the nitrous oxide gas they have me. I kid you not, when the procedure was done I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN AT ALL! Before the appointment I had major pain for over a month, with lots of sleepless nights, before I finally called and made this appointment. Now I have no problems calling them up for appointments and additional work done. Truly this is a dentist you will look forward to your next visit. The front office staff is super helpful and is really genuinely nice. You feel like they want you to be there! As for dental hygienists my family of 4 have had many of them. They take their time, are very kind and really do a great job. Our cleanings have been very well done and very professional. My wife and I have had crowns put in and both of those processes were done very well. They tell you what is needed, do it quickly and don't overcharge or add unnecessary charges. My boys, ages 5 and 7, both loved getting to attend here. We had to switch to soonercare and they don't accept that insurance. Even though they can't go here, my boys still love just popping in to say hi.... when is the last time you heard your kid say that about the dentist? Just sayin!

This place was amazing! I have always had anxiety about going to the dentist. But, Dr. Phan actually listened to what I had to say, and seemed to actually care. After leaving this office first thing I did was tell everyone I knew how amazing this place was. I have always had dental problems but he didn't act judgmental and was very understanding. He never made me feel bad about the issues with my teeth and went over all the details. They worked out a plan on getting my teeth fixed and instead of feeling overwhelmed and depressed after leaving. I surprisingly was in the greatest mood. Chelsey is the best hygienist, period. She is sensitive to my anxiety and my tender gums and teeth. I broke a tooth while traveling to Oklahoma City for work and the incredible staff at OKC Smiles came to the rescue. They were able to work with my schedule and setup an appointment with Dr. Phan on extremely short notice. Driving up to a new building and well landscaped property was only the beginning of an incredible experience. The inside of the office is very new, open layout and filled with outgoing, welcoming, and professional staff that were ready for me when I walked through the door (no delays like I have frequently experienced at other offices). Dr. Phan’s team put me through the works using new technology to not only identify the best solution for my broken tooth, but also found a few cavities that needed some attention as well. In addition to having the crown prep work completed by a light humored, professional Dr. Phan, I was also due for a teeth cleaning as well. The hygienist went well out of her way to make sure I was informed of each procedure she performed throughout the process. I learned more in the time I sat in her chair about the actual cleaning procedure than I have in all previous teeth cleaning combined. She was professional, observant to my sensitivities, super friendly, and my teeth have never felt better. OKC Smiles cares about the patient and the experience; as a result, I will be traveling 3 hours north from Dallas to get all my future dental work performed by OKC Smiles.

Had an old dentist that I wanted an upgrade from. This place was the upgrade I needed. My old dentist never did 3d imaging / x-rays and with this place.. The found out that I had an infection that required a root canal. Without them I would not have learned about it until it was too late... The hygienist was the coolest and every single staff member here is super friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I came here with very little hope that anyone could fix my smile. I knocked out my front tooth when I was 13 years old and had been living with crown for 13 years that did not match and was not a good fit for my gums. I had dentists tell me it would never look perfect. I had dentists tell me I needed very invasive gum surgeries. I had heard it all and felt like no one wanted to tackle my case. After several consults with one dentist, he decided it was too much work and thankfully passed me off to OKC Smiles. Dr. Murray (the 3rd dentist I had seen in OKC) took one look at my front tooth and said "I think we can make you happy and I think people have made you think this is much harder than it needs to be." Well I wouldn't say it was EASY... but I will say that Dr. Murray and his team worked so hard and were so wonderful throughout the entire process of fixing my tooth. He even came in on days he doesn't usually work to make it happen. I can honestly say that I have not been this happy with my smile in over a decade. I love the staff and facility at OKC Smiles! They are always so friendly, laughing, making me and my family comfortable. They are also very patient with my son who has disabilities and has difficulty controlling his mouth movements. I also love their wheelchair station: I can't move my son to a dental chair and he can't move himself over, so the wheelchair station is super convenient! Without that, he would have no dental care whatsoever. There are no TVs, just picture windows opening to the picturesque courtyard; I always look for wildlife and sometimes I see a bunny or a duck from the nearby pond. I just can't say enough positive things about OKC Smiles. But there is a negative: it's a 30-minute drive from home. :-(

I saw Dr.Phan when my wisdom teeth starting causing some headaches and soreness of my gums. Last dentist I had seen told me I had to go to an oral surgeon because they were difficult to extract, but I didn't want to be sedated, nor go through a longer recovery. I read some of the reviews below, and thought maybe he could help me instead. I was so impressed! They had a change in the schedule, and were able to fit me in the same day he looked at my x-rays. It took a full hour from start to finish, and I had such a great experience. His assistant, Kim walked me through each and every step, and let me know beforehand what sounds and feelings I should expect. I couldn't be happier with my experience!

There are so many reasons I will NEVER go to another dentist. I will warn everyone now, this will be a lengthy review. I've always had a fear of going to the dentist; mostly due to a traumatic experience as a child. Everyone at OKC Smiles goes above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable. So, I'll start at check in. The girls at the front are so personable. You aren't just treated as a patient. They know you by name, and treat you as a friend or family member. The office manager, Renee, is one of the most caring, compassionate, selfless person I've ever had the privilege of knowing. After my appointment, I always sit with her and just talk.....about our children, vacations, life in general. And afterwards, we always end with a hug. She genuinely cares about every person seen there. I don't look at her as just "the office manager". She's a friend. Someone I know will do everything in her power to help me or my family. Then there's Chelsey, our hygienist. I can't say enough about her. She has a way of easing my anxiety, she's gentle yet thorough, and has the same compassion as every other employee there. Dr. Stalder is an absolutely amazing dentist. He always makes sure we understand what's wrong, or what needs to be done. He has experience with high anxiety patients, which makes him a perfect match for me. He understands my fear and takes that into consideration every time I see him. The level of professionalism they exude is remarkable. I've referred many friends and family there. (Which I wouldn't do if I didn't have 100% confidence in them.) To end my review (or novel, lol), if you're looking for a dentist, need a second opinion or have high anxiety like me, give them a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Dr. Phan is very professional, kind, and exceptional at what he dose. If you can get him to work on your mouth, it is as close to painless as it can get. I don't usually do reviews, I am not a trusting person but I needed some very extensive work done. I had large bone shelves on top and bottom. I saw Dr. Kevin Murray and he explained we would pull all the teeth then he would need to spend some time grinding all the bone off so I could be rid of the bone shelves. (of course I was sedated) I am so thankful for all they have done. I am very picky and can be difficult but everyone was so wonderful, they showed me they understood and were so encouraging. I was not looking forward to dentures but it was all I could afford and they have gone out of their way to insure they are exactly how I want them to look and feel. They are amazing! It is wonderful to believe in people again and they are the best!

So lately I have been having the worst toothaches of my life on and off for the past 3-4 months. Probably the worst pain I've ever been in. I had a pretty bad cavity that has only been getting worse over the past 3-4 years. Last Friday I had just gotten off work when BOOM, the pain got worse. It was pretty intense. It went away when I woke up Saturday but I knew it was coming back soon. When I got to work Monday it hit immediately and I was in major pain. I had to have my mom call because the pain was so bad I didn't even want to talk. They scheduled the appointment right away for the next morning at 8:00 AM. I had already read all the previous reviews so I had a feeling I came to the right place and boy was I right! The office was so clean, everybody was so nice! Gina was my hygienist and she was great! She took her time to really make sure I was comfortable and thoroughly explained all my options. I haven't been to a dentist in 8 or 9 years but she wasn't judgmental at all and understood my situation. Turns out that I needed a root canal (yikes). My heart dropped immediately because of all the stories I've heard. She assured me they would make the process as painless as possible and even explained the sedation treatment. Since I was still in pain but they couldn't do the root canal that day, they took care of the part that was causing the pain and scheduled me for a root canal. Dr. Stalder took care of the first part and they introduced me to Dr. Phan who will be doing my root canal next week! Both were great people and I look forward to the future smile I can't wait to have! I've only been once and I'm already less afraid of the dentist. (Still a little frightened though but I'm sure more sessions will help with that!)

Felt mislead and unheard. I went in for a toothache. It had been almost 10 yrs since I had been to the dentist due to a traumatic experience. I went thru this all in depth with the hygienist who went over it with the dentist. They offered a sedation option, where I would be out for the procedure, which I thought sounded good. The next day I took the first pill an hour before the appointment and went in, was given more meds and told I would be out soon. I never felt like I was asleep. A short time later he came and was giving me shots to numb the area, during which I screamed in pain, some of the most painful shots I ever gotten, they also did NOT numb the tooth. At least twice during the procedure I asked for more gas or sedation as I was in extreme pain, and got ignored both times. This was a terrible experience and I felt as though I were never heard or respected and upsold the $380 sedation, which I don't fell helped, since I was in pain until the end and only passed out due to trauma at the end. Amended: I was called back by the dentist the next day to check up and he listened and was genuinely concerned. After going thru things with the dentist, it seemed that I may not have responded to the sedation in the normal manner. He made a heartfelt apology for my experience and did what he could to make it right. Excluding the sedation, which after discussion, I feel my case may have been an exception to the norm, the experience was fine. I will say the entire staff was pleasant and delightful. While I would most likely not opt for the sedation again I go back for regular treatment.

My experience with Dr. Phan has been outstanding. I started my extensive implant work at another dentist office that went horribly wrong from the start and I was forced to abandon them and find another dentist. From my first visit at OKC Smiles until present his work has been beyond superb. Beware there are dentist with credentials but lack polish and craftmanship. Dr. Phan is a master of this discipline and his work is well worth the price. Please learn from my painful mistake and give him the first try -- you will not regret it. His support staff is competent and effecient and the teamwork obvious.

Let me preface by saying I have an irrational terror of doctors and dentists so I only go if I have to. After my experience here, that will change. I had an emergency with an infected molar that was causing migraines and excruciating pain. I couldn't sleep at all last night. When I called Darian and explained my problem she managed to fit me in and I was seen within 5 minutes after I arrived. Liz quickly applied something to alleviate my pain. She and Dr. Phan explained my options and we're sensitive to my fears. They were very clear as to the steps they were going to do and answered all of my questions. They took care of my problem quickly, effectively, and with minimal discomfort. The bottom line is: 1. The entire staff are very competent and very caring. 2. Price was very fair. 3. Dr. Phan even called me later at home to check on me and offer to answer any questions. In my opinion above and beyond expectations. 4. They have changed my mind concerning dentistry. I will be a repeat client to include regular preventive care. Excellent group of people here!

OKC Smiles has the most wonderful and knowledgeable staff! I took my young daughter in for a checkup and cleaning and she had a wonderful experience with Dr. Phan and his staff. My daughter was very nervous (what child isn't nervous going to the dentist) but Dr. Phan and his staff made her feel at ease and comfortable. My daughter had to have two teeth extracted and OKC Smiles's staff prepped her so well that she did not even know that she had shots to numb the area for the extractions. Dr. Phan called after hours to check on the welfare of my daughter and to see what questions I might have. What dentist/doctor does this...an amazing and caring dentist/doctor like Dr. Phan! The staff goes above and beyond to assist in the filing of insurance and explains what is to be expected for your out of pocket cost...there are no hidden fees. I have had deep stains in my teeth since a child. I've had multiple dentists tell me there's nothing they can do about them. Dr. Murray told me about a new procedure that could remove deep stains and I gave it a try. It entirely removed the deep stains on all my front teeth and made my whole smile look whiter. I have been searching for a dentist to renew my smile for well over a year, I have consulted with 5 or more dentist and all have deemed my case as too difficult or not doable. i was referred to Dr Phan by a young dentist that I trust and went forth with researching the credentials of Dr Phan. I discovered that he was a very well respected dentist that not only practices but teaches at the OU school of dentistry in advanced dental techniques. As I was grown frustrated with the belief that I could never have a pretty smile again i called Dr phans' office and made an appointment. My call was answered by a fantastic young lady named Renee, i explained my desire for a pretty smile and she responded with an enthusiastic reply of " Dr Phan is your guy", With the awesome attitude of Renee I made an appointment. I hate to admit that I was prepared for another disappointment. When I first met the staff at OKC Smiles i was in awe of the fabulous customer service and attitude of each person, I was treated very well and they made me very comfortable. Dr Phan's staff took X-rays and evaluated my case and to my surprise Dr Phan said that we could start right away and renew my smile. A treatment plan was established and Renee took me through the options and financing offers, every part of the process was PAINLESS! A week later I had the needed implants placed and again I was surprised with the comfort and painless procedure. As of today I have had the upper arch renewed and am on the schedule to have the lower arch done next week. the dental assistant Tracy is a godsend and a very professional and capable assistant, she truly makes the experience a pleasure. I applaud her patience and caring attitude. I am a bit of a hand full when sedated and Tracy takes very good care to make sure i am comfortable, to her I say Thank you!. Wow this dental office/dentist have completely change my perspective. I have had really really horrible experience with a dentist office nearby and that kept me away from getting exams and cleaning for a years because they did awful things and maxed out my insurance with treatments that I never received. So for awhile I stayed away from dental office until one day my root canals were giving me a lot of pain. I found a really good dental office nearby where I live but they only specialize in everything under the sun. So I went there to get my root canals re-treated last November. I have currently completed phase 1 of getting implants and going back in 90 days to complete phase 3-4. The staff here is seriously so friendly and nice and most of all they treat you just like family. Dr. Sterling Stalder and Dr. Phan are genuine people and they do not pressure you to get any kind of treatment that you do not want. They do not perform anything on you without your consent and they give you really good advice. They are seriously there to help their patients and not rip you off. I am a very curious person and every time I ask questions, they're always ready to answer them and always so helpful. First off I have NEVER had a good experience at a dentist in the past 45 years as most of us can attest to, that is until I broke a tooth a few days ago and made a random (emergency) appointment at OKC Smiles. The experience that I had here was above and beyond anything that I had had before. From the start the ladies on the phone setting the appointment were polite and professional showing equal parts sympathy for the unique position i was in (600 miles from home) and a sense of urgency to help get the problem fixed in a timely manner offering me and appointment that day. upon arrival they went right to work getting paperwork done and getting me back to see someone to get the process started. I wasn't in the waiting room a total of 5 minutes. I very much liked the way that they have things worked out there, they assigned me to one hygienist and she followed me thru the process from start to finish (not being handed off like a paton at a relay race) not to mention that she was very personable and knowledgeable about the details of her job and truly seemed to enjoy it. the hygienist took the X-Rays and could and would answer any questions that I had about what i was seeing and all in all did her best to put me at ease through out the whole thing. It turned out that I needed a root canal, not words that you want to hear im sure as I had never heard anything good about this process. at this time I was introduced to the Dentist. Very nice young man soft spoke and very professional with a good bedside manner. He went over what they were going to do and approximately how long it would take, answering my questions as we went. during the procedure both he and his assistant showed true concern about my comfort and whether I was feeling any pain and kept me apprised as to where we were at during the procedure so I had a clear idea what was going on and didn't feel like i was just along for the ride. The procedure was completed and painlessly i might add with no pain upon recovery. I am VERY happy with the service that I received at the hands of OKC smiles and would highly recommend them to anyone in this area. In fact I was so impressed that I am going to wait to have any other work done till I am back in this area and can have them do it. Going to a dentist should not have to be a horrifying ordeal and these guys went above and beyond to prove that they care and there are great dental providers out there. One final note, I was sitting at home about 3 hours after I got done when my phone rang it was the dentist calling to see if I had had any trouble after I had left the office.Just checking up on me. this is not something that you see everyday and of all the things that were done, this was the one that impressed me the most, he took the time to call and check up proving that I was not just a number. this is the type of personal service that we rarely see in any medical profession and its loss is sorely missed. Keep up the good work.

I am as anxiety ridden as they come. My dental health has taken a back seat to everything in my life due to fear and anxiety. I broke a tooth when I was little and that filling was the worst. Then in high school I had braces, but financially we could not finish the process. The ortho company (no longer in business) was more concerned with money than my teeth so they refused to take the braces off until we had paid them off. However, they also were not going to finish the process if we paid them off. Long story short, I had a dentist take them off so I could do Senior Pictures. He cut my mouth up pretty good, especially my lip adding to my fear and anxiety about dentists. I only associate them with pain and it seems for whatever reason, the good Lord put all the nerves He could fit into our mouths. That pain always seems so much worse than any where else. So- 20 years goes by, maybe a few more, maybe a few less, I've had tooth aches, I know I have a broken tooth or two, I am self conscious, I am nervous, but fear wins and I avoid the dentist at all costs. Then I get a tooth that is really hurting. Like worst pain of my life hurt. My pain tolerance is pretty high I'd like to say. I dealt with this pain for almost four months. It was keeping me up at night and my anxiety was going through the roof, even with other things, because of the pain. Leaving places early, talking less, all because of the pain. Finally I decided I have to at least get this tooth pulled. I started reading reviews on dentists in Oklahoma. I read on Yelp! Angies List. Google. Yahoo. Everyplace I could find, I scoured through the reviews. OKC Smiles had great reviews and so I called. Jenea (sp?) answered the phone and I cried. There was a lot of guilt in my dental health issues and also a lot of fear in getting them corrected. I kept telling her "there is a lot going on." She said, "I don't know what all is going on, but I guarantee we've seen worse!" I felt so much better. She didn't care about the past or what might be wrong, she was focused on making me comfortable with getting it right. I've been twice so far. Once for the exam and xrays. Tracy did a great job making me feel okay. I cried like a baby on that first visit. Then my return visit a week later (This past Thursday) to have my top two wisdom teeth pulled. Again, I was anxious and teary but Tracy and Dr. Phan made it a quick and painless procedure. I was literally in and out in 25 minutes and didn't feel a thing. I was at work the next day (Friday) and last night (also Friday), I slept through the night, completely pain free! I will definitely be back to finish the work needed in my mouth. I can't say Thank you enough to Dr. Phan, Tracy, Janea and ALL THE STAFF at OKC SMILES!
