He has the same personable and kind bedside manner as he did when we first started going to him. His staff are some of the best humans. You won’t find a better dentist/dental office. My first visit to Cedar Creek Dental was a great experience. From the moment I walk through the door everyone was so nice. Being addressed by name from the first person at the office is very unusual. Most times when you are a new client you get the standard who are you. Then going back for the appointment I was told what was going to occur for the visit and every step was explained as the visit continued. Then Dr. McAnear came in and introduced himself. He did a thorough exam and explained all the issues. After the visit and upon leaving the great service continued. I would recommend Cedar Creek Dental to anyone in need of a dentist.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. McAnear for close to 20 years and some might say that I’m crazy but I always look forward to my dental care. The service that is provided is second to none. First time I’ve been to the dentist in 13 years. From the staff to the dentist it was awesome. We just happen to have snowfall and the windows in the room were magnificent. Everything was calming about this procedure, as I am a nurse, I do hate dentists, not for, the profession, but for what they do to my mouth. I felt completely comfortable and willing to follow the doctors instructions. He actually made me excited to have dental work done.

I've been going to Cedar Creek for several years. Very friendly and caring staff! Dr. McAnear recently replaced the wire on my permanent retainer, which had become loose after decades of wear. The procedure went pretty quickly with almost no pain. The practice is in a building that seems more like a cozy home than a dental office, complete with TVs on the ceilings and comfy warm blankets. Definitely recommend.

I left the last dental practice I was at after a terrible experience during pregnancy. The hygienist there didn’t even congratulate me, and just seemed put out that she couldn’t do the X-rays she was planning. I never went back there after that. Well, I’m expecting again, and everyone at Dr. McAnear’s office was so kind and congratulated me. The sweet lady who did my cleaning (I believe her name was Brittany), made no big deal about not being able to do X-rays, and was so accommodating for me! It’s hard for me to lay on my back at this point, so she stood for part of my cleaning just so I could sit up a bit. It’s a small gesture, but it meant a lot to me! Very thankful to have found such a wonder dental practice.

We love Cedar Creek! Have been here for close to 10 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. We even drive all the way from Norman because we love it here! Dr. McAnear and staff are wonderful! Going to the dentist is always something you hear people dreading, but I have never felt anything but comfortable and relaxed. Plus the location always makes me feel like I’m on a retreat out in the woods. It’s beautiful, which adds to the relaxation element. My little girls also love it! We have been using Cedar Creek before it was called Cedar Creek. Our first experience with Dr. McAnear was when he fixed a poor filling by another dentist. He was patient and ensured that all pain was taken care of. Every hygienist, office personnel, and Dr. McAnear are exceptional at what they do... and do it with a smile and a friendly attitude. They are like another part of our family. Even after moving 40 minutes away we have continued to come to them for our dental care. They are worth the distance! While not an actual emergency, Dr. McAnear and his office still treated it with great urgency - and showed great flexibility and care to get me in as soon as they could. It was my first crown, but Dr. McAnear and Kristen, the dental hygienist, both helped me through the process. They told me exactly what the process entailed, took measures to make certain it was a pain free experience, and did a good job with the crown itself. Going to the dentist is not exactly a fun experience, but Dr. McAnear and his staff do a great job - both with the dental work itself and making you feel comfortable and cared for. The entire staff is nice, and I enjoyed the music that is playing softly in the background, as well. My family and I did not have a dentist since moving to Oklahoma, but we certainly do now!

Even before my first appointment, the front office staff went above and beyond to research my policy to ensure I would be financially taken care of when I came in for an appointment. For my first appointment the wait wasn't long, the staff made sure I knew what was going on, and that all my questions were answered. I had just had surgery so everyone was extra careful to make sure I was ok. During my procedure I was asked if I needed any breaks, I was talked through ever move and I didn't feel one bit of judgement regarding my current dental condition. During checkout, everything was reviewed once again. We went over the follow up procedures and their potential costs. Once again, we are reviewing potential out of pocket expenses with my insurance provider BEFORE committing to anything. I love this staff! Everything is homey feeling and I got a cookie for being a first time (not that I need anymore sweets, lol). I would recommend this place to anyone is the area or willing to make the drive to have a great experience!

I’ve been seeing Dr McAnear for years and I’ve never been disappointed. He truly cares not just about a patient’s oral health but their whole well-being. I’ve been able to talk on a personal level with him and he genuinely takes interest in you. That goes a long way in my book. The office is a warm atmosphere; nearly like a house. From the time you’re looked in the eye and greeted at the front desk, to the cozy fireplace, to the exam room, you just feel calm. All the exam rooms overlook a beautiful wooded area with bird feeders and the occasional thieving squirrel. You don’t get that view at a run-of-the-mill dentist office! I love Chainey as my hygienist, but all of them are incredibly talented in what they do. The doctor likes to have the hygienist use a high-pressure water instrument to clean the majority of the plaque and tartar off the teeth instead of the usual scratching and scraping. It turns a dreaded cleaning into a much more comfortable—and thorough—procedure. I’ve had other dental procedures done besides just the routine cleaning (new crown, filling, etc) and the doctor or his staff will call you the next day to make sure you’re feeling ok and if you need anything. I love the fact they care about you even after you leave the clinic. Garrick could move his practice to Timbuktu and I’d drive to see him. He’s worth it to me. But thankfully he’s got his roots planted here in okc. Keep up the good work guys!

On a Saturday morning emergency he and his staff member took the time to give me a root canal that was in bad shape from a nasty fall I took.
