I called to have an emergency procedure and was literally scheduled for a same day appointment. The support staff and dentist, Dr. Igor, Martha (unfortunately didn’t catch front desk people’s names), I saw were really wonderful. Plus they gave me a lot of tips on how to maximize my dental insurance and a free fancy electric toothbrush that must be at least $100 retail value. I will be coming back and making this home dentist office.

I had a dental emergency on Sunday at 2:30pm. I was calling around to anyone who was open, and Williamsburg Dental told me to simply just come on in. They were 30 minutes to closing but they took me in and fixed me. Everyone was SO kind and made me feel heard and taken care of. They were honest about pricing and didn't pressure me into doing anything. The doctor also fully explained to me what was going on and how he was going to fix it. Absolutely my best dental experience and I will be returning for all of my dental needs! Was so lucky to have found this place!

My wife and I have had several emergencies and go here (for teeth extractions, deep cleanings and filling’s)and they will fit you in. The entire crew is just phenomenal. They work for the people not the money. The gum specialist very good, the hygienist ladies are very clean and cautious like they will handle you with sensitive care! Receptionist have great knowledge and are pretty well rounded as the rest of the staff. Even getting anesthesia, i swear i felt little to no pain or discomfort since they started the procedure. We’ve been going here for about a year and a half and so far we are happy with getting the best bang for our buck. Not even trying to be modest just trust that you will be in greatest hands for a great smile.

It had been a long time since I’d been to the dentist and I was a bit nervous about it, but the entire staff was so friendly and kind from the moment I walked in the door that it put me right at ease. Dr. Black clearly and thoroughly explained everything going on with my teeth and the options for treatment, and he patiently answered all of my questions. The office is very clean and modern, and everyone there was so helpful and organized. I was able to schedule my initial appointment very quickly as well as a followup procedure. I will definitely be coming here regularly from now on!

Had a wisdom tooth pulled, and the process was completely painless, I didn't even realize it was over and I didn't need the pain medication they gave me for afterward. It was also super quick, but I still had time to ask questions and have everything explained to me. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable / understanding about how to deal without insurance and didn't pressure me to do additional procedures or anything - I need to get a couple of other wisdom teeth out eventually, which I did know, but they said "one thing at a time" and didn't pressure me at all. They asked several times if I had questions which is great because sometimes you don't think of it at first and it's nice to have more opportunities. It seemed like they genuinely want you to feel comfortable and empowered. They also got pretty excited about a cool pearl-like growth on my tooth, and I love the enthusiasm for their work. So nice to have such a friendly place with no BS when going to the dentist can be so stressful.

Had a very positive experience with my implant. Staff were all friendly, professional and pleasant to deal with. Dr D was very gentle with the cleanings which were done as a bonus and did a good job with the extraction and implant. Also has good rapport with patients making a calm atmosphere. I never thought I'd be leaving a review for a dentist...but here I am! Williamsburg Dental Works is just that good. The facility is clean and everyone who works there is super nice and knowledgeable. They put on Netflix or music for you while the dentist is cleaning your teeth. I've seen two different dentists there, and both have been great! They give great suggestions and tips on how to maintain proper oral hygiene. Finally, last but not least, the folks who work at the front of the office are amazing! Making appointments is super easy, and they give really great information about how to maximize your dental insurance benefits.

I dont’t think i’ve ever left a review before, but If you’re considering going here for any dental work DO IT. I had an emergency today where my bridge fell out during a cleaning at an another clinic. The other clinic did not have a doctor available, and i was left in an anxious scramble to find help. Williamsburg dental work had same day availability and were so quick and friendly in making an appointment. Not only that, but the assistant Martha and the Doctor were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing is transparent and the people are great. Left feeling so relieved and grateful for this clinic! 10 stars honestly, hope to be back soon (but not too soon)!

I've been to Williamsburg Dental Works twice in the past year and both experiences were wonderful all around! The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and so helpful! The doctor took extra time to answer all my questions, demonstrated helpful cleaning techniques, and did a thorough cleaning! The office is so nice too and they put on Netflix for you which makes the cleaning go by very fast. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I recently moved to Williamsburg and I was looking for a new dentist. I wasn’t too happy with my previous dentist, and I was also having some cold sensitivity for a while. I found Dr. Dekhkanov through a Google search where he was one of the top results for “dentists in Williamsburg”, and for good reason!! When I told them I was in pain, they offered to schedule me in the very next day. The facilities are very modern and super clean, and the staff is friendly, welcoming and very professional. Dr. D took the time to go over my x-rays, projecting them onto a large TV in front of me, and also using dental models to explain what the problem and how he would address it; all in a way that was easy for me to understand. Before starting, they asked me what I wanted to watch during the procedure (I chose Our Planet), which was also projected on a screen in the ceiling. During the procedure, Dr. D asked me several times whether I was in pain, and to let him know if I had any discomfort. I also mentioned that I had bad experiences with dental insurances before, and they took the time to patiently explain and walk me through the daunting process that is dealing with insurance companies to make sure I wasn’t being taken advantage of. Overall, I don’t think I’ve ever been as happy/satisfied with a dental visit in my life, and that’s coming from someone with pretty bad dentist anxiety!! I highly recommend Dr. D and his staff to anyone seeking compassionate, top quality dental care!!

The service, transparency, and care here is unbeatable. I had the best experience with Solomon, who fit an appointment in for my partner’s emergency root canal. There was never a moment of feeling rushed or overlooked, but rather every question and concern was addressed kindly. My partner had an easy time, no pain during the procedure, and it relatively fast. Definitely better that the 5 step/day run down other offices were telling me were needed for a root canal. I highly recommend Williamsburg Dental Works.

Without a doubt the best experience I have ever had at a dentist. Patient and thoughtful in explaining all of my situation and giving me proper recommendations. Incredibly thorough, clean and comfortable space with high-quality equipment, very friendly staff. Incredibly kind and personable staff! Every visit has been wonderful and usually just a short wait before I'm sent to an exam room. Every dentist/dental assistant has been really nice and takes the time to explain any dental issues. As a bonus, the main exam room has a tv on the wall and ceiling so you can watch something peaceful during cleanings. Highly recommend this wonderful dental office!

Very professional and friendly, both the front desk Lidia and Dr D were extremely nice and accommodating. Salomon is super knowledgeable and enthusiastic and can help with all the insurance intricacies. I immediately recommended my wife to go there that’s how much I trust them. The office is really nice, very modern, great technology you can see all the issues with your teeth in detail before discussing any necessary treatment. I didn't feel like I was pressured to do unnecessary work, I just started with them but it was definitely a solid start (I personally like it better than my previous dentist 212 Dental in Manhattan). Also, they are very well organized, wait time has been zero, which is a huge plus compared to most Manhattan offices.

My friend recommended Williamsburg Dental because she also hates going to the dentist and I can’t thank her enough for the referral. Had my first appointment here this past Monday, staff was helpful and friendly during the x-rays, exam, and billing process. Pricing was transparent and never felt pressured into certain services. All procedures were explained and given specific reasons why they would be good or bad ideas, but it all felt like my decisions (which can seem obvious but is not the case at every dentist, I can say with first hand experience.)

They offer a membership deal which is great for those of us without insurance, and their prices overall are extremely fair. Been going here for years, great place, everything is very modern and clean. I've never had to wait at all, they always see me immediately. They are super on top of reminding you about appointments / scheduling your yearly checkups, and handle everything through text, which is nice because I never have to think about it. They'll play whatever you want on Netflix or YouTube while you're getting your appointment, and even have a TV on the ceiling. Not sure what other dentists charge but the bill is never high here. Igor's a great guy and a great dentist!

Dr. Howard Wang is a top notch periodontist. My gums suffered from a rare, almost unidentifiable condition most likely subsequenrly due to COVID. Dr. Wang saw me four times for one consultation fee, which went above and beyond. He stabilized a precarious situation quickly. After stabilizing it, he then referred me to a regional expert to diagnose the rare, almost idiopathic disease. His associates were responsive, skilled and attentive. I highly recommend him and his colleagues.

Glad I found this place. Everyone was pleasant & made it easy for a dental visit. Dr. D was knowledgeable & explained everything very clearly. I have to go back a few more times but he put me at ease for all the work that needs to be done. I like their philosophy that you should keep all your teeth as original as possible, but also improve it so they look & function better. I know for the next scheduled cleaning, I’ll have a full mouth of healthy functional teeth. I highly recommend this place.

I have never known a Doctor so passionate about his job and the health/well being of his patients! Walking into the office you will receive smiles all around that even if you’re having a bad day or are worried, all of that melts away. The staff are so friendly, it’s like you become family instantly. The doctors and staff members will call you after a procedure, just to make sure you are feeling better because their concerned about you. They actually remember you even when you forget about them. Best of all, even if you haven’t seen them in a while, they call to remind you of cleanings and check ups because they don’t want their patients to have any future issues. The doctor wants his patients to keep their teeth and smile happy and healthy for a long time. Honestly, if you see something wrong with any of these aspects than I’m sorry. Take care of your teeth the way you would your body; that’s my advice. 🤷🏻‍♀️ My opinion, is no one else cares enough. I should know, I’ve gone to at least 6 different dentists and I wouldn’t trade this doctor for any one else!

I’ve reviewed this office before, but I felt the need to come back on and give another great review. Since my last, I’ve had two more complicated procedures, an implant and a complicated gum grafting. I opted to do both at the same time and they were done by Dr. Wang. I was so incredibly nervous about pain afterwards, that I nearly had a panic attack in the chair prior. Well, my fears were all for none, because following the procedures, I had virtually zero pain! I took Ibuprofen for a day and that was it. The result was fantastic. My gum line looks amazing, I no longer have sensitivity near that tooth and I am so excited to get the crown done and be finished. I highly recommend this office and will continue to trust them with my dental health for years to come. If you need a big procedure that you are having fears about, don’t. They will fix you right up!

Honestly, they are such an amazing dental office! I’ve been going to Dr. D for over a year now. Since I’ve gone there I’ve gotten Invisalign, multiple cleanings and had a few cavities filled. Great experience with Dr D and this office. First of all, everyone here is super nice and accommodating. They walk you through everything very calmly before they do anything. I am new to this office and came for a cleaning and must say I was super impressed by everything. The prices are very fair if you go for the yearly membership, which allows you two free cleanings as well as *very generous* discounts on all operations / procedures. I saved a huge amount on my recent procedure and was surprised how affordable the membership made these procedures and costs (I am uninsured). I’ve been their patient since they opened about five years ago, and have since referred most of my friends and family members. Excellent team and staff, extremely professional, friendly, they are also quite good about fighting with insurance companies and making them pay their fare share. Unlike some other practices I’ve seen where the receptionist is on non speaking terms with the doctor etc., they have none of that passive aggressive energy, remember patients by name, and in general are really proactive and honest when it comes to benefit explanations etc. They also don’t double book as a matter of principle and generally if you have an appointment at 12:15pm you will go in at 12:15pm. Dr. D. is a mensch, beyond his other professional qualities. Lastly, and this is particularly important these days, they are extremely strict about following all the Covid safety protocols. We no longer live in Williamsburg, but still prefer to travel to this location, it’s not that easy to find a really reliable excellent dentist in Brooklyn.

True Professionals! I had great experience at this dental practice. Dr Dekhkanov is very experienced and detail oriented. Since I was a new patient I had had all the x-rays done as well as a close up picture of my every tooth. I went to Williamsburg Dental Works because I had an infection in one of my front two teeth and was told that there was serious bone loss and that it would likely need to be pulled. I cried in the office that day. They recommended laser gum surgery which was a much more effective procedure than this planing deep clean method that I had done a few years prior and at the same cost. The surgeons and doctors saved my front tooth and two years later, I go for my routine cleanings every 3 mos. I highly recommend!

Absolutely a great dentist / hygienist to visit. The staff are extremely polite, friendly, reassuring and work with an unsurpassable level of professionalism. The dental office is a fully equipped state of the art facility with a fresh modern décor and spotlessly clean! They offer outside office hours which is great - Late through the week and open on Sundays! Dr. D and his staff are so personable & professional. They’re also extremely encouraging through teaching and guidance of student dentists - although only the pros do the actual work. I would HIGHLY recommend this dental office.

I got x-rays done and they showed I needed a root canal, as well as some cavities that needed to be filled. I came here for some emergency work, they took me the next morning, repaired my broken bridge but next day it broke again, so they took me in on Sunday morning, started again , spent a lot of time , strengthening the bridge, and finished the job. This is a very nicely designed place, super clean with new equipment every where. Staff was super nice, explaining everything, and very helpful. They did not charge for the second repairs. I was very pleased with all aspects, and would recommend this business, and will see them again, should the need arise!

Stupidly, I waited close to 10 years to get my teeth checked out. Obviously, I wasn't looking forward to finding out what I needed done. Any concern/fear disappeared when Doctor Dekhkanov gave me a check-up. Not because I lucked out and my teeth were fine. Far from it. I needed a lot of work! But his 'chairside manner,' was great. He patiently, walked me through everything. He had 3-d models and x-rays even! We went through his treatment plan and he allowed me to have active roll in some of the decision-making. 5 appointments later (1 more left), and I'm very satisfied with my experience. His office is really nicely laid out, his staff are friendly, very intelligent and accommodating. Good mechanics and good dentists are hard to find. Once you have one, don't give it up! Highly recommended.

Update after crown done: Got to write updated review cuz ... OMG, Dr D is not doing a good job, but PERFECT job, 5+ stars. Never know 1 day after permanent crown, it feels like your own tooth (using dental floss without feeling there’s gap between crown & gum). Superb! Wish I got my other crowns from him. 1st visit: Need to find a local dentist since to see my decade old dentist becomes tiresome due to long commute time. Luckily, find WDW this dental facility. The office is clean, and receptionists make you very relax (dental office is always make me nervous). Taking X-ray are easy (no gagging feeling). Dr D explained how to continue maintain or repair my teeth (without any push to sale), and then he did the cleaning so quick & “clean” (I always has my teeth clean twice a year, and I feel great afterward). I don't feel like I switch to a new dental office, but just continue with the same team I had in past decade with different looks (that’s how comfortable I feel). Although the price is higher than I had (I know my old dentist gave me lots of discount) in the beginning, but it will go down after second year. Overall, I’m happy to find a new dentist with great satisfaction in my 1st visit. For healthy teeth, a decent professional dentist can make it become true. I put my teeth in Dr D hands, and I know he cares. Happy to recommend this dental facility.

I love this place! I live nearby and they were able to see me same day as an emergency for a wisdom tooth extraction. Everyone was so kind despite how anxious and upset I was. After finding out I had to get the tooth taken out right away I panicked a little (or a lot..) and they put on The Office on Netflix for me to calm down a little and it was so kind and helped so much. I now have a treatment plan in place for the rest of the wisdom teeth & feel so relieved to have found a good spot. So, it is very shy to say, but I have not been to the dentist for years because of my bad experience at a dentist when I was young. However, I was walking by this dentist and saw their special for exam and cleaning and I have made my decision to finally get my mouth checked up. First of all, the front desk staff, Iris and Solomon, are very kind! I could tell that they were trying their best to help me out with financial issues since I did not have any dental insurance. After I was checked in, the Hygienist, Eun, brought me into the room. I was nervous at first, because I remembered that I was very sensitive with the cleanings; however, she was so gentle and great! Did not hurt a bit. She is very calm and informative; she went over in detail about my oral hygiene and how to keep my mouth healthy. Dr. D came in to discuss my findings based on the x-rays and exam inside the mouth. He explained all the treatments that needed to be done in detail and in a way that I would understand easily, which was very nice. He was also very friendly and funny! Since I have not been to the dentist in a while, I did need a lot of works done. But I would definitely come back and get in track with coming to the dentist regularly to Williamsburg Dental Works.

I called in to see about making an appointment and the receptionist was incredibly helpful and helped to secure an appointment for the following day. He was efficient and gentle (needle? what needle?) which made this honestly the best appointment I have had with a dentist ever. Walked in with a massive toothache that I’ve been pushing off to get done. It became unbearable and I was scrambling to find someone to extract it. Found this place and was seen in less than half an hour without an appointment. The doctor and his assistant were extremely kind and accommodating as well as the front desk. During the procedure the doctor constantly was making sure if I was comfortable and if I was in any pain and he seemed very sincere. I’m very impressed with their professionalism and courtesy. I was in need of a good dentist, because I work in the wine industry my teeth were having some serious problems (enamel, discolored and had lots of small cavities). A friend of mine who also works in Wine recommend Dr. Dekanov, and the people that work with him at Williamsburg dental, and I love them! They have been thoughtful, helpful and professional. I have not felt pushed into doing unnecessary dental work (have had experiences like that at other dentists) and have learned more about how to really care for me teeth even if I'm tasting wine everyday! They really explain what's happening in your mouth, what work needs to be done, what looks good and ways to prevent further tooth problems. For instance, I have lots of small cavities but they decide not to work on them because he thinks they're so small and working on them could actually make it worse, instead we are monitoring them and seeing if they grow and I got a special toothpaste- I went to another dentist before and they wanted to fix all of them! My husband sees them as well and he has really needed a lot of work and they have helped him pace it out so that it's affordable and done based on what really needs to get done first and what can wait a little. This includes four cavities, they fixed his crown and he has some more working being done soon. The work itself has been great, healing well and he has had them same positive experience as me. They always check in on him after his appointment to make sure he's feeling okay. I'm recommending them to all my friends! Didn't know I could be so excited about a dentist! Thank you!

I can honestly say that it was such a relief having Dr Igor open during the COVID scare when everyone was closed and I was left to do my own research on a provider who wasn’t just available but also trustworthy. My wisdom tooth was hurting me; I had the dentist do an extraction and I cannot be any more happier with the procedure and recovery. Swelling and pain was minimal. Quick background - I’ve gone to two other dentists in the neighborhood (one on Skillman the other on N.6th). Recently, I fractured a tooth. I was in a lot of pain. I didn’t like the dentists I knew enough to call them in an emergency. The guy on Skillman doesn’t seem to care, and the other place cares a bit too much (for my pockets at least, if you’re loaded maybe it’s worth it idk didn’t feel like it). So I asked a friend who I was just talking about health/wealth with and she recommended this place. They saw me in an emergency, got me out of pain that same evening, and wrapped everything up comfortably and professionally. THANK YOU! I had my teeth whitened here. Top notch service across the board!... A clean and well decorated lobby, a friendly and attentive staff, nearly no wait time, their equipment is clean and clearly state of the art, they give you Netflix to watch while your teeth whiten, Dr Dekhkanov is obviously a professional but also chill and personable. He noticed a part of one of my teeth had a weird notch on it, so he whipped out the drill and worked on it (and he didnt smack me with any additional charge afterwards!)... and after all of that, they gave me custom made whitening trays in case I wanted to do more whitening at home. I am a new patient as this dental office and came in recently for a check up as well as an Invisalign Consultation. What shocked me most is the short wait time. With my former dentist, the minimal wait was two hours!! The hygienist, Eun, did a quick yet efficient cleaning and a technological scan was done for Invisalign.. so no molds!! Which is fantastic cause I hate that stuff. Doctor D. came in not too soon after to discuss the results of the x-rays/examination and Invisalign. He gave me an affordable price and I was able to finalize the payment plan at the front desk with Solomon, the office manager. He and the receptionist, Iris, were great conversationalists and I was able to take care of all insurance payments and other copays clearly without any sort of miscommunication.
