Everyone that took care of me that day was very professional, friendly and explained everything with detail, answered all of my questions and were very gentle with me. I have to say. This practice has turned into my forever Dentist and today was my first trip there. Always been afraid of dentist. I am so glad that I found a dentist that makes me feel so warm and welcome and doesn’t judge my teeth or makes me feel like it’s the end of the world. Dr Núñez amazing so warm and kind. And the way she explains things amazing. I have a few more appointments but I know for a fact that the rating won’t change. Everyone on their staff is so wonderful. What I couldn’t believe was how I got my root canal done at 9pm amazing! Can’t wait air to see the final product!

Came in for my first cleaning under their promotion, i was really hesitant because it was my first time meeting the team, and really going to the dentist in a while...My appointment was with Dr. Nunez and she immediately made me feel comfortable. She's pretty easy going and let me express my concerns for potentially wanting to start some aligners...the hygienist that did my cleaning was good too but i didnt get their name. After trying out multiple dentists in the area, my brother recommended I should come to Nuñez and I am glad I did. Not only did they diligently explain my options for straightening my teeth (I chose Invisalign 😉) but their services have always been professional. Previous doctors would make me my gums hurt and bleed — it was often a bad experience. In the multiple times that I have gotten my teeth cleaned at Nuñez, however, it has always been gentle and done I’m a timely manner. I would definitely recommend checking them out if you are looking for flexible and professional services. P.s: everyone there is super friendly and makes the experience even better :)

7 years ago: I got my cleaning and exam done in this practice a few months ago and let me tell you, I was very amazed at the service that I received from when I first walked into the door all the way to when I walked out. Wait time was nearly non-existent. The little time I did wait, front desk staff offered me many things to help me pass the time with either a drink, magazine or even a slight tour of the office. When my name was called by the clinic coordinator she came to me with a very warm felt smile and made me feel very comfortable before seating me. I met my hygienist, he was a great guy. Made me laugh a few times and I liked that. The whole process was a breeze and I felt little to no pain at all. This office has a HUGE staff of professionals who not only treat you as a patient but as a friend and member of their family. My next appointment for my cleaning I will not hesitate to call Nunez Dental. Heck, I even put them on my speed dial! Thank you Nunez Dental for the great service you have given me. My fear of dentists as been completely eliminated with your help. UPDATE Dec. 2020: I continue to get my cleanings here regularly and they still provide amazing service. My hygienist, Tatiana O., is very nice and was very gentle. While she does take some time, I know it's because I'm getting a thorough job done. If you want to feel secure in getting your cleaning done well, then definitely schedule it with her. UPDATE Nov. 2022: Still great service, and awesome staff. This is the place you want to go to for all your Dental Needs. The environment is welcoming and you will not wait long.

I’ve been coming here for approximately two years and I think the service is great! The staff is super friendly and I love the reminders about my 6 month cleaning appointments because I often forget them. They are very efficient, organized and the cleanings that I have received are always done with care and gentleness. I’ve also taken my wisdom teeth out all four of them here and they were super fast and I didn’t feel a thing. I have been going here for my regular cleanings and now for my Invisalign journey. So far it has always been good and the staff/ doctors are super friendly. The office is very clean and though you wait a little bit for your appointment they will honor the time of it , so arrive at least 15m early to fill the forms and you will be good. Reception desk- efficient and straight to the point. X-ray technician- allows you to assist during the process so you don’t have to have them force it into your mouth of gums. Hygienist- gentle but ensures getting the weeks of accumulated plaque off. I have been to Nunez Dental more than once. The staff is very congenial, attentive and conscientious of my needs and comfort. There is very little wait time which is a plus. Dr. Nunez is friendly, patient and considerate. The equipment is very up-to-date and the entire area is very clean. As with all dental services these days, services for whitening and straightening are explained by a consultant. These are services not covered by most insurance policies.

They are also very flexible when I need to move my appointments around because I work in the restaurant industry and I have to frequently change my appointments. By far best dental place I’ve been too. Doctor Bradford McLaughlin was great! I had to get a tooth removed. And had to get dental Bridge put in. I hated the temps. But he tried his best to make me comfortable and happy with them. Anytime they broke. They took me in immediately. And replaced. The doc did an awesome job the whole time. Nunez Dental is the cleanest dental office around Jackson Heights, however be prepared to spend 3 to 4 hours at their office. Every time I have an appt for a cleaning or just Invisalign, I end up waiting more than 2 hours before it is my turn. The service is ok. everyone is very nice and helpful, they of course take their sweet time with every patient. The girls at front need to learn how to make appts and not put so many people at the same time because people start leaving after waiting for 3 hours to get a cleaning or anything done. If you have all the time in the world and a lot of patience I recommend this place to get your dental things done, it is a very good dental office overall. However, if you don't have time and have things to do I recommend you find yourself another dentist.

What can I say ...I needed a tooth extracted and was in severe pain . They took me in the same day which I was happy about . By 1 pm I was taken in inside and X-rays were taken right away. Too my surprise they were ready to proceed with the extraction . I went to Dr. Nunez’s office the other day. It’s easy to make an appointment through ZocDoc. The wait time was about ten to twenty minutes, but most of that time was filled up by completing patient forms. The office has a large staff. I can tell Dr. Nunez is a knowledgeable physician because she answered all my questions while at the same time she gave me important advice about protecting my teeth. She is also a charismatic individual; she even introduced me to her son (who also works there). The hygienist, Jessica, was very efficient in her cleaning skills. I’m like most people - I don’t like going to the dentist; however, Jessica put me at ease. I can tell that the staff at this office are trained in providing the best customer care. FYI: if you refer a friend and they come in to the office based on your referral (and they spend $250 or more) you get a $25 credit on your account.

It's down the block from several train stations and busses. I've had several treatments here. I've had a root canal, filling of cavities and most recently Invisalign. My silver filling came off, so I just run into Nunez dental. Since I am international student, I don’t have dental insurance. However, they offered me discount check up plan which helps me a lot. I first came to this dentist in January 2014, on a Saturday at that (not many dentists are available on the weekends) for an emergency - an accident at work broke my front tooth completely in half and in a panic, I found Nunez Dental thru the Internet. I was hysterical when I came in and Dr Reyes not only fixed my tooth to the point where it looks completely normal, but the staff was so nice and comforting and they helped me to calm down and feel better. When I first seek for a dentist to do Invisalign for me, they told me that I can't have Invisalign and I should just get braces. But I never wanted to get braces. Luckily, I was able to find this place and they're able to cater my case and told me that They can do Invisalign for me. I'll be starting in a few and I'm excited. 4.75 stars! I would give it 5 stars but that would mean all the great service was free! Let me begin with the frontline inquiry I first made. My first dentist was on holiday and my root canal needs was begging for attention, and so I gave Nunez Dental a call. The lady receptionist who took my call was Cynthia. She was incredibly accommodating, gave me a step by step description of what would happen during the visit: cleaning/x-rays/assessment/discussion with coordinator of procedure and cost entailed/dentist and dental work. I liked how Cynthia’s voice sounded with a smile over the phone. My actual first visit was also pleasant: my hygienist was chatty and fun with our hand signals to mean yes or no or something else versus groaning or arghing sounds from my open mouth. Now your jaw can tire from having your entire mouth of teeth x-rayed, but my x-ray technician was precise and swift and had enough rank to order the dentist to press the machine button each time she had quickly adjusted the x-ray scope. Dr. Nunez herself sat for a few minutes before I was set-up for the root canal procedure. I told her how calming the offices and dental cubicles were. We were on the 7th floor and the view was of the Queens’ Jackson Heights Skyline of brick roofdecks of 19th century residential buildings. The whole clear blue of the summer sky and skyline, I told her, reminded me of Italy! The root canal was not so bad at all. The needles, well, they are always unpleasant, but that is a given. The second visit with Dr. Sylvestre for the post placement was also bearable. I had jokingly told him that we might not be friends after the procedure, but everything went well. I appreciated how he complimented me on being a great patient (perhaps others have snarled or chewed on his hand? am kidding!) But seriously, patients are as good as the positive vibe and energy that flows from all the dental assistants and the dentist himself. For the third visit, I had to renegotiate an appointment schedule that would mean having a different doctor working on getting the impression needed for the crown and the temporary crown placement. This time Judy, another front liner handled that situation very pleasantly. She managed to fit me in with a different lady dentist, who was nonetheless as attentive, as gentle-handed as Dr. Sylvestre was. I don’t usually hug dentists, but I did after the procedure. Oh, Jorge, the coordinator, was also impressive in his explanation of price attached to procedure and the chronology of visits. I loved his diagram explanations alongside the xrays. I am returning in a week’s time for the final procedure of crown placement and I look forward to that visit.
