My 6yo is terrified of the dentist & made a complete scene when we first arrived. The employees were so understanding & really tried everything from toys to painting nails to distract her. The office is extremely clean & kid friendly. Small in size but big in personality. We left with smiles, prizes & a balloon :) We will definitely be returning.

We’ve been coming to bite sized for the last 4.5 years. My son loves this place. The staff is amazing, the reception is welcoming, and the prizes are my kids favorite. Dr Raf convinced my 2 year old to no longer use a pacifier on his very first visit. He hasn’t used one since that day. The list of insurances they accept is small but in my honest opinion it’s worth it to switch your insurance to attend this place. We switched ours just so my son could stay here.

Happy I found this place! My daughter is terrified of the dentist. We had a bad experience with another dentist in the past when she had a cavity and after coming here, she started to feel relaxed again. The dentist did a magic trick before her procedure, put the movie sing on for her, talked her through all throughout the procedure with such patience and care.

My almost 2 and 5 year old came here after both had a negative experience at ANOTHER dentist. The Bitesize staff was excellent with my boys and both of them liked the office, the staff, and the promptness. They were kind, caring, and explained everything in detail for us. Bitesize will take care of my kids teeth until Bitesize tells us they are too old. Really above and beyond and worth it. Plus mom approves 👏

The team at Bitesize are dental wizards. The care and expertise are excellent but they are also amazing at making my kids feel totally comfortable and even excited about going to the dentist. They did a great job educating my older daughter about better flossing technique and they are very thorough in helping parents stay on top of and preventing any issues with daily cleaning. I’ve been taking my son here since they opened. It is a bright, clean place with state of the art equipment. All of the staff is friendly and great with kids. We’ve had 2 dentists in the past approximately 7 years, and we love both of them.

The best dentist office to take your child to along with their good work performance. From the moment you walk in and leave you are greeted with a full staff of kind people. The setting for your child is so pleasant with TV shows to their liking while the doctor attends to the treatment plan. Let’s not forget the cool balloon that brings a smile to your child’s face and gold token so they can pick their price after. I totally recommend!

Amazing staff and experience all around. The lovely front desk ladies greeted my son by name as soon as he walked in. Facilities were clean and state-of-the-art. It was my two-year-old’s first dentist appointment and they made it so easy! I didn’t think they would be able to get anywhere near his teeth but they did, and he didn’t cry once. The hygienist and dentist were both wonderful- pleasant, informative, and clearly knew how to handle a toddler. Everyone at Bitesize made this daunting milestone both easy and fun!

I brought my two boys for a checkup and cleaning. The office is very safe and it’s still pleasant for my kids to visit. The dental hygienists did the cleaning with a movie on. The doctor checked the X-rays and gave my boys (and me) instructions on what they need to continue doing. My oldest, who’s nine, will need braces, but his baby teeth constantly need to be extracted. Our doctor offered to do the extraction right after the checkup. He was so good at making my son feel comfortable and not scared. My son has had 4 teeth pulled by the same dentist and he still loves coming here. This place is very safe, extremely kid friendly, very professional and accommodating. Definitely the best pediatric dentist office in Brooklyn!! We've been going to the Williamsburg location since our son was 3. So cheerful, professional, welcoming, clean and friendly! It was the perfect way to introduce him to a lifetime of healthy dental hygiene without tears and stress. He loves being able to watch whatever kid show/movie he'd like on the personal TV screen for each dental chair! He feels very comfortable there and has never complained about going to the dentist in the 6 years we've been going! He especially looks forward to the cool prize at the end. We love how advanced their technology is and how knowledgeable and friendly all of the staff and dentists are! Highly recommended! (Wish they'd open an adult practice on par with their kid office!) NOTE: I was hesitant about going for his check up during covid-19 but the staff is doing an excellent job of scheduling appointments so that there are a limited number of patients in the office. They were very understanding and reassuring on the phone and described all of the PPE and precautions they take. I was relieved to see staff wearing two masks (N95 + surgical), a face shield as well as a gown and gloves during our visit. I imagine it's very tough wearing so much PPE for long periods of time but we really appreciated how our hygienist was still so friendly, informative and supportive - thank you! 😊

I have been taking my 3 children to this dentist for over 4 years, and the staff is always the same. They all are so pleasant and friendly. They make sure you are informed step by step with the procedures they perform on the children. They make sure your child younger or older is comfortable. I actually switched to a dental plan that requires me to pay out of pocket monthly, just so my kids can continue to go here. I love this place, highly recommended.

I've been going here for a few years and it's always quick and easy ! Everyone is pleasant and courteous. Almost never a wait time ! They run a tight ship! Kew is hands down the best hygienist I have ever come across. She explained everything in detail to my son, taking her time showing him exactly what he needed to do. Didn't feel rushed at all. I mean...is it crazy that my kids look forward to going to the dentist??? It’s so odd to me. The staff here is so nice and welcoming. The hygienists are angels. Both Q and her sister Carol clean every nook and cranny and are super detailed. They also educate the kids and parents on proper brushing and flossing. They are so patient, talked through every step so the kids are not nervous. The dentist here- Dr. Raf is gentle and works with the kids. He’s good at listening and addressing any concerns. My kids both look forward to seeing Dr. Raf and though I find it strange, I really appreciate the practice and now good they are with the kids. We rarely hear any crying in the office. Always happy faces and the place is very clean.

Absolutely the best in Williamsburg. I live in Fresh Meadows Queens and the drive for the past two years is totally worth it! Both my sons ages 5 and 3 enjoy going to the dentist. Surprisingly its the only doctor they both get excited to go too!! Lol. They are a very kids friendly office where the kids go and feel they are in a playground. I 100% recommend this dentist for any parents with kids especially if they are afraid to visit the dentist! Love Bite Size!!

I took my 21 month old for his first dental appointment this morning at Bitesize and we had a fantastic experience! The office was so clean and bright and everyone was very friendly and did a wonderful job with my son! He didn’t cry at all, in fact I think he enjoyed having his teeth cleaned. I was a little nervous but all my worry was put to rest! The hygienist was so sweet and did a great job with the cleaning! The dentist was also really cool and gave me some great info on caring for his teeth over the next few months before our next appointment. The waiting room keeps them busy with cool toys, the staff is kind and friendly and the best part, my appointment was at 1PM and was out of there after they saw both of my kids at 1:45!! I was looking around for a pediatric dental practice and found this one on Google. I was a bit hesitant at first because when I visited their website, there was very little to no information about the dentists or staff. The website was a cute, but lacking information, such as the names of the dentists and their educational background and training. But the reviews were good so I decided to give it a try. The staff was so friendly and the hygienist (Q) was excellent. She made my daughter’s first dental visit fun and memorable. Thank goodness! I would recommend this practice to other parents. I just wished they had more information about their dentists and staff online so parents can make an informed choice while selecting a practice for their children.

Dr. Rafay is simply amazing! A truly talented children’s dentist. My child just had a cavity filled and it was an incredible thing to watch. He explained the procedure to her so calmly and showed everything to her as he went (minus the numbing needle). When she was numb with a gel, the doc and his assistant did a Slight-of-Hand/ Jedi Mind Trick when it came to the shot. She never saw it coming and had no idea it even happened. The whole thing was over in 20 minutes, no fuss, no childhood trauma. A true master at his craft!

Awesome dentist, hygienist and front desk staff. I arrived over an hour early (came directly from school in Queens) and they were able to accommodate us and see us earlier. The hygienist took her time and demonstrated the correct brushing technique on a toy dinosaur. It’s clear that all the staff love children. Both my kids are going to the Bitesize. My son was always afraid of the dentist, but the personnel over there is so nice, that I don't have any problem with him at all. The place is very clean and well organized. The doctor Rupin is very nice person, smiling to the kids all the time as well as his personnel. They always explain you and your child whatever they are going to do. So the children can feel more relaxing and stress less. They can even watch cartoons during the all visit ;)). I love this place. Very clean and child friendly environment. This was my first visit with my girls to this office and the very first dental visit for my two year old. My eleven year old loved this visit and asked if we could return again for her next cleaning! My 2 year old was also a very happy camper. From the moment she was called in, the dental hygienist, made her feel comfortable and pampered. She never felt tense and even enjoyed her cleaning. She is still talking about her teeth being tickled! A very attentive and detailed staff. My girls loved their goody bags stocked with a toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, and topped with a balloon for my toddler! The girls each received a token at the end of the visit which they used on the vending machines to claim a prize! Thank you Bitesize for making this experience so pleasant for my girls!

I am so please with the quality of service and how friendly the employees are with the kids. My youngest daughter had a hard time at the place I took her for her first dental cleaning. But when I took her for the 1st time to Bitesize Dentistry for her check up, she was so comfortable that she sat on the chair on her own like a big girl. She got these cool glasses, she was able to watch TV and they gave her a balloon and a coin so she can get a prize from the machine. It's a very kids friendly place and it makes kids want to come back. IT'S TOP NOTCH!!!!!! I definitely recommend this place to anyone. You and your kids will not regret it.

I've been taking my daughter, Arianna to Bitesize Pediatric Dentistry for a couple years now. Today's visit was pleasant, as usual. Everyone from the receptionist to the Tech's to the Dentist are very professional, as well as personable. Takes a special something to treat a child w patience, as well as sensitivity, n the Guys at BSPD have it in spades. I wouldn't think about taking Ari someplace else, n as much as a trip to the Dentist might be a scary situation for some, my daughter doesn't seem to mind going at all. This is the third visit my daughter has at this office and it’s been a great experience from the beginning! The staff is very professional and courteous, the doctor and hygienist are very patient and professional! My daughter has always feared the dentist but ever since the first visit she has been loosing fear and becoming more comfortable with the thought of going to the dentist. Quick 20 minute drive from Elmhurst and 15 minutes from Astoria. Can’t think of any reason why I would not recommend them!

Brought both my kids, 2 & 5, and couldn't be more pleased! They were seen on time, received a thorough and attentive examination and cleaning, the staff and the dentist were sweet as can be, and neither of my kids were scared or upset in any way! The office is state-of-the art, clean, friendly and professional! I had taken my daughter to her first dental appointment elsewhere and was not thrilled with the overall experience. My experience today with Bitesize was soooooo much better than that!

Dr Raf was very nice and my daughter quickly warmed up to him. It was my daughters first dental appoinment and I believe it has left a very good impression on her. Everyday after our visit she talks about the doctor who cleaned her teeth with much excitement. Dr Raf was also very informative about the role parents play in their childrens dental hygiene. He also seems very invested in his patients and has made it clear that he is available at all times regarding any concerns I may have day or night. Lastly, the office is very clean, bright and the staff members are very warm and friendly.

He didn’t shed a single tear and even high fived his dental hygienist! Everyone from the front desk to the doctor were so friendly and informative. The office is very bright and clean. The nurses and staff are all friendly and warm, and at the end the kids do not want to leave. The dental office is modern, clean and fun (lots of toys and books in reception area). When i tell my older son he has a dental appointment, he says "hurray!" and has no fear or hesitation. How wonderful, enjoyable and easy they make the visits. I truly appreciate the positive experience and setting a great foundation for the children. Highly, highly recommended.

I love how they treated my very nervous 2 1/2 year old. This is the third dentist we have tried and they are amazing with little ones. The office is also very clean and neat. They have cute toys in the waiting room and everyone was smiling and explaining everything to help a new dental patient. My only hope is that they would reduce their plastic consumption. They give toothbrushes, toothpaste, balloons and plastic toys, all which seem helpful in the moment but I think their are probably more eco freindly options, like bamboo toothbrushes, wooden chinese ladder toys, etc. could be found.

The office is bright and clean, with a fun play area in the waiting room that is good for all ages. For parents, Reunion coffee shop nearby has nice treats and coffee. There is also a kids hair salon and toy shop (Edamama) just steps away in case you want to knock out two errands in one trip.

My 5 year old even said he wish he could come everyday lol Parking was fairly easy I think because of the hour I went (4pm) not sure if its always that way though because the area gets alot of traffic from the BQE. Overall the place was amazing and the wait time was normal about 10-15min before getting seen. The Doctor had great bed side manners and truly took the time to educate me on this new stage of my son's development. Definitly will be regulars!

I cannot begin to say how AMAZING this dentist office is. I brought my 22 month old autistic daughter in yesterday who has only seen 1 other dentist. She has never let anyone including me clean past the 2 front teeth. They were able to clean her entire mouth! The hygienist and dentist were very thorough when explaining everything I needed to know and answered all of my questions. Not to mention, they have a ton of toys in the waiting area and once you are in a room, there is a shelf with stuffed animals and books for kids to hold! They give goody bags with stickers and little cool things for kids and a balloon at the end! They are just the best! If give them 10 stars if possible

Lets start off with saying that I was very impressed with how my daughter reacted to entering the dental office Usually she freaks out as soon as she enters. Right away she heads over to the book shelf and grabs a few books. Then went for the toys. I was still a little skeptical about how she was going to react as soon as we sit on the chair.As we enter the room she lays in the dental chair and sees the Tv which was playing Minnie Mouse. The technicians and Dr. Malhotra are very patient and wonderful with children, and they know just what to do to put a child at ease for their cleaning and exam. In addition to the kind staff, there are flat screen TVs mounted to the ceiling, so your child can watch a program or cartoon of their choice while the exam and cleaning are being done. This helps to distract them a bit and makes the process go more smoothly. I highly recommend Bitesize and Dr. Malhotra.

The staff is so friendly, the entire office, from entrance to back is clean, and that meant the world to me. Most striking was the hygienist (sadly, I can't remember her name), she laid out all her instruments, changed all the heads, set everything up, THEN she put on her gloves. I have been to dentists who first put their gloves on then reach into cabinets, change heads and do all kinds of prep, then reach into your mouth with those same dirty gloves. Bravo Ms Hygienist!!
