I'm so happy I can go to Leggio Dental Group again. I had to change my insurer in order to do so, after a horrible experience at one of those Supercuts-style corporate clinics. Dr. Putnam is great; he did in twenty minutes what I needed done, explained what needed to happen next, and overall made me feel like I was in professional hands. The office is warm and friendly, too. I could not ask for more.

Always a great experience at Leggio. Feels like a boutique dentist but it's still covered fully by my insurance. I never waited more than 3 minutes in the waiting room. The front desk staff is also super helpful looking up insurance coverage, transfer medical records, etc.

I started going to Leggio in 8th grade. I have had 3 generations of this family to take care of my teeth, Dr. Ron, Dr Mike, Dr. Michelle. And now Dr. Allen! I live in Texas and I come all the way to New Orleans to see Dr. Mike Leggio for my dental care. He is an amazing dentist and all the staff are wonderful. As per usual I waited until I was in immense pain before I made the appointment to have my cracked filling examined. They were very nice and got me in within the week. I expected Dr. Putmann to examine the tooth and schedule a time to come back and fix it but she was able to fix it that day. It was pretty quick and painless (get the gas, it costs extra but worth every penny). It was a pretty great overall experience.

I’ve been coming to this dentist for 20 years and now I bring my children here. I love this office. They are gentle, caring and actually concerned about their patients. ***Update*** I still love this place. Recently, I had a toothache and called to schedule being seen and they told me to come in that day. The looked at my tooth, heard about my pain, performed a root canal and I was back at work within an hour. This is what I’m talking about when I say they care about their patients. Today is the day after the root canal and I can enjoy my Sour Patch Kids candy once again without pain.

First off, I had a dental emergency and was scheduled for an appointment very quickly. Although I anticipated fewer necessary pruucedures, the staff was very accommodating, both financially and emotionally. We all know going to the dentist isn't always fun, but the staff at Leggio Dental Group made it much less painful, in every way, and I am grateful.

I was extremely happy to get an appointment on a Friday morning after my bridge fell out in the middle of the night. Lindsey was very understanding of the fact I had my son with me so we made arrangements for the following Monday. One I got to the office everyone was super nice and very accommodating. I have never had a Dr. With such good “bedside” manners. Dr. Michael Leggio spent nearly 30 minutes just explain what I needed to have done and how we should go about doing it. He even made a phone call on my behalf to another program that could possibly help. He didn’t pawn the work off on anyone else. He made the call, then came back to explain what the call was call was about. He then had to refer me to an oral surgeon, and again, he wrote the referral,prescriptions, and gave me a copy of my X-ray himself without expecting someone else to do it. They entire staff was awesome and made me feel Ike it was all going to be okay!

Dr. Michelle offered me options for my bad tooth and I felt she guided me correctly without being pushy and judgmental. She always exp lo rained what she was doing, and made sure I was feeling ok. My tooth extraction was a breeze, I did not realize it was removed it was so quick! Everyone was very pleasant and cared enough to explain the process which helped me to make the decision to extract. I felt extremely comfortable throughout the visit although it was my first visit with Dr. Michael. I have not experienced any discomfort since the removal. It was a stress free visit and I am so glad I decided to intrust Dr. Michael to taking care of my nagging issue. I would recommend their office to anyone. They are comparable to a Formula One pit crew when it comes to cleanings and fillings. I really like this dentist office. I've been going for about 4 years and now I even drive an hour to continue going here. The hygienists are always super sweet and thorough and Dr. Putnam is great, too. What I like most about this office is that they're not aggressive as far as trying to always drill into my mouth. They keep an eye on things and only suggest procedures if the cavaties get bigger. I've been to other dentists that try to drill out every little stain and fill it in whatever the heck filling is made of. I really like their approach to dentistry and that is why I'll continue seeing them every 6 months! Also, I do not have dental insurance and they are very reasonable in their costs! Always clean, always on time. Usually the regular hygienists see that I have permanent retainers, and throw in floss threaders into my “goodie bag,” along with sensodyne toothpaste when I mention that it’s what I use (in lieu of Colgate); I always mention it, and I always appreciate this. The last two times I’ve gotten different hygienists, which is different than what I’m used to. At my last visit, there was no Sensodyne or threaders, although the hygienist did throw in a mouthwash that she thought would be helpful to strengthen my enamel, for which I was grateful. Definitely recommend. Excellent dentists and very friendly staff.

I’ve been with Leggio for a couple of years now and have been very impressed with their customer service, ease of scheduling and how they’ve worked hard to protect patients during COVID-19. All patients have to complete a COVID-19 symptom survey upon arrival and staff are decked out in PPP. Cleanings are quick and thorough and patients can be x-rayed in their own rooms, reducing risk and saving time. I recommend giving them a visit!

The absolute best dental experience I've ever had. Everything from the appointment flexibility to the understanding and leniency I was given after arriving almost 30 minutes late and still being seen. The lady I spoke with about out of pocket price expectations was extremely well informed and showed a lot of patience during the 100 questions I must have asked her. She was kind and I could tell she was well trained and knew her job inside and out. She also didn't rush me off the phone which I often times find is the case with other dental practices. The front desk woman was also very nice and extremely helpful. She went out of her way to resolve an issue I was having involving my payment. I really appreciated the extra time and effort she put forth that she really didn't have to do, but did. The assistant helping when I was in the chair getting my extractions was very calming. She knew I had anxiety about the procedure and went out of her way to help me and talk me through it. Dr. Michael was absolutely the highlight of the day. He came in the room very kind and took the time to explain everything he was doing and answer all of my questions. Which I had a lot of them. He gave me the least painful numbing injections I've ever received from any dentist, and I've been to probably 15 throughout my life. He showed so much care and concern as well as compassion for me physically and well as my feelings. His actual performance of the procedure surpassed even the best case scenario I had in my mind. He was able to extract both teeth within a matter of no more than probably 90 seconds. He wasn't forceful or aggressive while removing the teeth either. I say that because I've experienced that in the past and on more than one occasion by more than one dentist. Not only were those experiences very unpleasant but the pain and recovery afterwards was considerably worse. It's only been 24 hours since my appointment and I'm almost completely out of pain. I'm shocked because the extraction sites are almost closed. I had no real bleeding right afterwards and I have no bruising right now. Both of which I've had in past extractions. I seriously couldn't have asked for anything better. I would recommend anyone and everyone to Dr. Leggio.

Been a patient at Leggio Dental Group since 1999. Dr. Ronald, Dr. Mike, and Dr. Michelle are always courteous and professional. I miss Dr. Ron (he retired last year). They always guarantee their work, and when I didn't have insurance, they were always very helpful with me and only told me the work that needed to be done. Old school! The right way! They are not trying to steal your money. This is a family business with family values. Dr. Ron's dad used to trade people services for vegetables. Come on now! You cannot go wrong with Leggio Dental Group. Marsha is my favorite nurse and Lindsey runs the office like a champ! You can call me a weirdo for loving my dentist so much, but when you get great service, you gotta scream it from the mountain top!

I had a wisdom tooth extraction, which was performed by Dr. Mike Leggio, this morning. I started experiencing tooth pain Wednesday, called his office that same day, and was told I could be seen on Friday (today). I was promptly greeted by the sweet, patient receptionist who was really helpful with getting my new insurance information together. The dental assistant was also very nice and quickly started my laughing gas to relax me. Dr. Leggio came in, asked me which tooth I needed to be pulled, gave me my injections and gave them plenty of time to numb mouth, and then started the procedure. Once he started the extraction, it only took about five minutes. Once he was done, they let me relax until I felt well enough to get out of the chair. I go to another dentist for cleanings, but I will be switching to Dr. Leggio for cleanings and other dental work. I highly recommend Dr. Michael Leggio!
