The Camenzuli Dental Experience is aptly named and I thoroughly enjoyed my initial visit for a cleaning and checkup. That’s right, I enjoyed a visit to the dentist. The front office was very helpful in preparing for my engagement with their business and the staff was friendly, competent and thorough in assessing my dental health and delivering a great dental care experience. My hygienist, Tamara, was an awesome service provider and offered several valuable pointers for better dental routines. Dr. Camenzuli was a constant presence, guided the experience and offered great advice for a dental health plan. I’m so glad I got my act together to avail myself of the great dental care at Camenzuli.

Dr. Camenzuli and staff are excellent! I have been a patient at the office for over 5 years and keep coming back because they truly care about the dental health of their clients as well as their life outside the office. Dr. Camenzuli has great bedside manners and explained everything he was doing and what he recommends for me to have the best smile and relieve my discomfort, detail by detail. I first went to Camenzuli Dental last year, after I hadn't been to the dentist in 15 years and was kind of terrified of what he'd say. Both he and the staff were wonderful. I purchased their in-house insurance because I wasn't ready to navigate through all the regular dental insurance options and it's now been one year since I've seen him and he will continue to be my dentist forever after. I just had my first two cavities in my life and they were filled by him and all-in-all, it was a pretty good experience, as far as getting cavities filled, I guess! I mean, I don't have anything to compare it to since they were my first cavities, but I didn't feel any pain and it was very quick and they were so attentive and gentle, so I couldn't really ask for more! I would recommend him and I don't give out recommendations easily.

The best dental experience I've ever had. I had an emergency extraction and it was painless and quick. And I mean painless!! This dentist was here for me immediately and was so good at what he does. I have recommended everyone I know and will continue to do that. Dr Camenzuli is great at his work and I would advise anyone to use his service. He's amazing, and his office and equipment is all very modern and easy and comfortable to work with. I couldn't recommend this practice any higher. If you need something to accomdate you, I know this office can do it and it will be an easy and pleasant experience. They listened to my anxieties about dental work and were so sensitive. Dr. Camenzuli is the best dentist I’ve ever had. His work is impeccable and he would do well to patent his method of administering shots. He offers his own plan that, for a reasonable yearly fee, includes 2 cleanings, a full set of x-rays and a healthy discount on all dental work. Last year, I took my 95-year-old demented mom to him after she became terrified of her own dentist. He put her at ease and she let him pull a tooth and take an impression. The perfectly matched new tooth is on a bridge so she can pop it in whenever she wants. Great things to smile about :; - )

I had three extractions, a bone membrane replacement for one of them, and three fillings done all on one the upper side of my mouth. Everyone here is so personable and friendly. The office is very clean and neat. I was immediately greeted and put at ease. I had never had such a thorough exam and everyone talked me through any questions or concerns. After the cleaning and exam the dentist even fit me in for my fillings that day! I am usually anxious about the needles and dental work but Dr Camenzuli is so gentle that I didn't feel a thing. He was quick and I left very happy. Wonderful staff, easy booking, convenient reminders, great dental care. They stay open til 7pm on some nights so you can come after work. They also offer a reasonable in-house dental plan that gets your two cleanings and exams, and a set of x-rays, if you pay for the year up front. They give good advice, are careful with cleaning, and are very nice, upbeat people. I never wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment. The facilities are clean and comfortable, with good tunes and an overall relaxed feel. I've sent all my friends there, and they all loved it, too! I'm sad to move out of town and have to find a new dentist. I think Camenzuli will never be outdone!

An excellent team works here at Camenzuli Dental and I'm blown away by their efficiency and professionalism. I've been living here in Nola for a few years and unfortunately hadn't made a point to find a dentist till recently. They also helped with some fillings and were very thorough with what I had to expect after they were done. They even went as far as to check in with me the next day! Dr. Camenzuli! He saved my life (figuratively) in an emergency root canal! It was done on the same day that I walked in (which is amazing) because I was in so much pain. He and his team followed up with phone calls to check on me and make sure I was doing well. Moved to New Orleans a year ago and have been on the lookout for a dentist. Got a flyer in the mail from Camenzuli and decided to try them since they’re conveniently close to my home. Had a great experience! The staff are friendly and attentive. Street parking easy to find. Waiting room clean and welcoming. Office staff were knowledgeable about my dental plan and efficiently processed the in-plan discounts for what I needed: a new crown and filling a cavity. Camenzuli uses very up to date technology. I’d never had a 360 degree whole mouth x-ray before, but my initial assessment and cleaning included this, which was able to give quite detailed information, for example about the state of old crowns and root canals. The entire process of getting my tooth crowned plus filling a cavity in a difficult location (at the very back of my mouth) was completely painless. Dr. Camenzuli’s assistant gave the wipe-on numbing agent plenty of time to work, so I didn’t even feel the novocaine shot, nor any of the drilling. Also, I had the sense Dr. Camenzuli listened to my concerns and wanted to work within my budget, for example, while his staff suggested replacing some crowns on my front teeth for aesthetic reasons, he was able to check that there was no decay inside those crowns so that new ones were not clinically necessary. Everything was well planned at his office, staff were even quick to bring a pillow to help keep my head comfortable during the procedure. Camenzuli is deft-handed, and the office even provides tinted glasses so the lights don’t bother your eyes!

I was nervous to go to the dentist as the stay home order was lifted. I could not have felt safer. They allowed one patient at a time to enter, then a temperature check and you had to wash your hands. The hygienist had an n-95 and a germ mask on, protective glasses with lights and a face shield, a gown and gloves. I felt very safe and as always they were on time with the appointment, finished within 30 minutes, and I had a great cleaning. Highly recommend!

I visited the Camenzuli Dental Excellence office once a couple of days ago. The lady at the front desk and also dentist's assistants were friendly and welcoming. I appreciate that I could see a dentist without making an appointment in advance. However, I think the assistants weren't well experienced. They took more than 6 X-rays from tooth #28 to get it clear and complete. They said, "oh little mouth". Eventually, they end up with 2 half pictures of X-ray from the left and right side of that tooth. It holds me back from going to this office again. It was the first time that 2-3 assistants had a hard time to get the X-ray right. I am afraid it affects my tooth procedure if I go there again. I also talked to Dr. Camenzuli and consulted about one of my teeth which had root channel a month ago in another office. He was friendly and ensured me that there is no real problem. As far as my single visit experience goes, the dentist himself is expert in what he does. However, his assistants are not much of help.

I recently went to Dr. Camenzuli for what I thought was a jaw issue. However, upon addressing my concern he discovered a lymph nodule on my parotid gland. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to him for this discovery. I will have surgery to remove the mass but since it was discovered while relatively small my chances of any long term/permanent side effects are low. Besides perhaps literally saving my life, I must say that this is the best dental practice I've ever been to. Dr. Camenzuli is as knowledgeable as he is kind and caring. Nothing but the best praises for this Doctor and his staff. Myself and my two boys (11 & 14yrs) went to this practice for about two years. Our previous dental experience in New Orleans was lacking. The doctor is good with kids, will joke around if you provoke him (like I tend to do), and explains everything about procedures and equipment in as much detail as you, or your kids, care to know. I especially like how the practice invests in modern equipment and has the latest gadgets. A great bonus is that they were able to work out the insurance hurdles even though they were note a "preferred provider". I believe they just wrote off some expenses that weren't covered. They also do ALL of the procedures in-house. This means the dentist isn't referring you other offices to do bigger procedures, or scheduling other doctors to come in on certain days of the week. This is the way to go. He handles the whole enchilada. I highly recommend this practice. Parking can be a bit hard to find in front of the office, so plan on walking a block. The only reason we left is that we moved to California.

Truly some of the best service in dentistry I've ever had. I found Dr. Camenzuli's office by just driving around when I first moved to New Orleans in 2013. I am originally from Houston. I was on assignment for work for 1.5 years and then moved back to Houston. I was so happy with his office's services that every time I go back to NoLa for work (around every 3 or so months), when it's time for my check up, I just go see Dr. Camenzuli. One thing that I appreciated Very much was that he now takes blood pressure readings from his patients before check ups are performed. His staff found out that my blood pressure numbers were Extremely elevated and got my awareness level to where it should have been all along. He even offered to have me taken the ER (knowing I'm from out of town and may not have had a car). If it weren't for his staff and his protocol, I could have been a ticking time bomb and things could have been a lot worse. I am happy today that I am on hypertension medication now and my numbers are at a happy 128/85 today. His staff even called me the next day to check in with me. GREAT STAFF and GREAT dentistry. After my consultation, I decided I'd go with it. I can tell you it was the best decision of my life.
