The staff here and Dr. Watson are incredible. They know how bad my anxiety is when it comes to dental work, and help me feel at ease (especially when I’ve had to come in quite a few times!) Always have such a nice greeting from the front desk. It it so great to have a place that is professional, knowledgeable but also helps you feel relaxed. Dr. Watson also makes sure to really assess your dental situation rather then trying to do procedures just to do them. Grateful to you ALL! Thank you Midtown Smiles!

Dr.Watson and his staff are the best I have ever experienced! I am 53 years old and have severe periodontal problems! Have been trying to get a fix for years! Not one Dentist, until Dr.Watson, has had any solution EXCEPT all on 4 case. If you don't know, even with insurance this is out of pocket 30K or more, I can't afford that!! Dr. Watson gave me several probable solutions OTHER THAN all on 4, MUCH LESS COST OUT OF POCKET!! Thank you Dr. Watson and Midtown Smiles Staff Members for giving me hope and smile again!! Ya'll are simply put "The Best". Like most people, I do not enjoy going to the dentist, so I read several reviews for practices in Nashville before deciding on Midtown Smiles. All of the five stars for this place are legitimate. My first experience was great. The hygienist was *fantastic* and super gentle, which I appreciate after having some rough experiences in the past. The dentist was also very friendly, thorough and upfront about keeping track of a couple things he noticed going on and wanted me to be aware of. Overall, they did a great job of making me feel comfortable, and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

I don’t write many reviews, so this says something! I actually really enjoyed going to the Dentist here!! My hygienist Hannah was so informative, friendly, and just lovely, I left wishing I could be her friend! Dr Watson popped in with great energy, a firm handshake. He was kind, fun, and efficient. He gave me an absolutely reasonable quote on fixing one of my teeth. The office was very clean. The did this really neat head CT in the beginning that insurance covers and looks over your sinuses and jaw and so much that most dentists don’t look at!! I was taken back almost immediately when I got there on time which never happens at appointments!! They even walked me out. This has to be one of the best dentist offices in Nashville!! I’m honestly looking forward to the next time I go back.

I just completed my Invisalign with Dr. Watson and I couldn't be happier! I was referred to Dr. Watson by a friend and I'm so grateful for the way my smile has transformed. I wore braces when I was in high school and my teeth began to move in my late 20's. I was self conscious about my smile but didn't want the dreaded "adult braces". My friend was finishing her Invisalign with Dr. Watson so I went in for a consultation and it was a no brainer. I had looked at other online versions of invisible alligners and chosing Dr. Watson and Midtown Smiles was a no- brainer. Dr. Watson and his staff were thorough with every step of the way and made the whole process as easy as possible. I had the support and advice of a professional team that was evaluating my progress and making reccomendations. I truly cannot say enough good things about the experience. Lastly, I am in sales and am on the phone and in meetings alot for work and I was concerned about it being obvious I had retainers or speaking differently. In passing noone even notices the alligners. And as far as speaking differently, the great thing about seeing an in person doctor for Invisalign is Dr. Watson and his team did check ins and evaluated my trays to make sure that my teeth were moving properly and my alligners fit appropriately. If you are considering Invisalign, I HIGHLY reccomend Dr. Watson and his team at MidTown smiles.

During the recent ice storm I needed an emergency dental visit and a family member recommended Dr Watson and his team at Midtown Smiles. I called them up, out of the blue, and was met with a wonderful staff who helped me quickly through new patient setup, and then opened up their facility - in the middle of an ice storm for a new, temporary patient, who was in a lot of pain. So glad I was referred to this practice! I was nervous about cosmetic dentistry but every person I encountered was incredibly helpful and explained the entire process to me. I had wanted veneers but was worried they wouldn’t look natural and as if I’d ‘had work done’. Dr Watson listened to my concerns and the end product was perfect! My initial prep took longer than expected (root canal!) and his assistant Savanah stayed with me the entire time making sure I was okay. I came in at the beginning of last year after not being to a dentist since before I started college. I had a lot of dental work to be done and was a overwhelmed to say the least. Dr. Watson assured me that he would get me taken care of and that it would not be a problem. We came up with a plan that would fit my schedule and budget. Dr. Watson is wonderful and always makes sure I am comfortable before starting any dental work. He is super fun and makes me feel relaxed. His staff is amazing and personable. They always make sure to work with my crazy schedule for appointments. In December, around the holidays, I started having severe pain in my jaw. I called the office after business hours and left a voicemail. Someone contacted me right away that same day to put a plan in place to get me feeling better. They even set me up an appointment with an endodontist, so that I would not have to do it myself. They checked up on me after I had my procedure to make sure I was okay. Melissa is the sweetest and makes sure to go over financials with me before each appointment so that I know what I am looking at. Erin is so sweet and personable and makes sure to get my teeth looking and feeling wonderful after a cleaning. She is gentle and does not hurt me during the process. The whole staff is patient-oriented and makes me feel so welcome when I come in. They go above and beyond to meet any needs I may have.

My experience at Midtown Smiles was truly wonderful. The waiting room was charmingly decorated for Christmas and the staff was friendly and helpful. My dental hygienist Brittany was very nice and did a fantastic job of cleaning my teeth and recommended that I floss more without coming off as patronizing. Hello, I must say im a very anxious, nervous , have extremely sensitive teeth and completely terrified of the dentist. My dentist that I loved and trusted for years had retired. So after years of fighting the fear of finding a new one which seemed impossible, I decided to try Midtown smiles. The staff was wonderful, I must give an extra praise to Hannah. For just an exam, evaluation, X-rays she was very calming and informative. I was refusing a cleaning without being fully numb which I always requested and required so it wouldn't hurt , but Hannah actually took the time to gently walk me through what would be done and she was very concerned about my comfort. I was so comfortable j think I fell asleep at one point. SO FOR THE FIRST TIME I HAD NO INJECTIONS FOR A. CLEANING!!! Then the dentist also WAS AMAZING.. He jokes, checked things out and had a game plan for .my issues, and he stayed positive with what seemed so outta reach to me and my 9 cavaties,. I really believe I have found a new great place!! I've never been to a dentist that truly puts so much time and effort in to my teeth. Even though it has been a wake up call learning that my teeth aren't 100% all the time, it is nice to know that I can always improve my smile by doing extra things daily. I love my teeth and smile and I feel like Midtown Smiles is doing their best to help me keep it around for a long long time! Everyone is super friendly and the location is also awesome and easily accessible, which I was worried about since it is located near the West End/Midtown area. You won't regret going to them (and they also help work with your insurance, making sure you know up front if there will be any extra cost!)!

I can't even begin to tell you how awesome these people are. I'm a comedian and my oral health had deteriorated so badly I was no longer comfortable stepping on stage. I had all bit quit performing live. Last year when I finally had dental insurance again, I did my due diligence in selecting a dentist. With the extensive work I needed done, I didn't want to just pick randomly from a website of authorized providers by name only. I spent days looking at websites, reading reviews, etc. Then I found Midtown Smiles. Looking at pics on the website, the staff had very nice, warm, friendly faces. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived for my initial exam they were all just as warm and friendly as can be. Dr. Watson took his time and laid all of my options out for me quite bluntly. They were very diligent in working within the limits of my insurance and budget. Six months later we're a little better than halfway done! My top smile is been restored to better than it was even before it started deteriorating. I no longer tilt my head downward or put my hand over my mouth when I speak. I've even gotten back on stage! One of the best dentists I have ever had and I cannot recommend them enough! You won't be disappointed.

I have never been so happy coming out of a dentist's office! I filled out my paperwork online ahead of time so when I came in (for my first ever appointment) they took me right in. ON TIME. At exactly my appointment time. My hygienist was super friendly and she gave my hands a paraffin wax treatment while she was doing my cleaning! I have a sensitive jaw and she was very much on top of making sure I was comfortable and checking whether I needed to take a break. Then when the Doctor came in, same thing. Super friendly, asked lots of questions, made me feel heard and didn't try to push any crazy products on me! I cannot recommend Midtown Smiles enough!

My experience at Midtown Smiles was the ABSOLUTE BEST. I always have been very anxious going to the dentist, but Brittany (my dental hygienist) put my mind at ease immediately. She answered every question I had and told me everything she was going to do before she did it.. she was very professional but always was so friendly she also felt like a friend. When I walked in to my 1st visit, Lacey at the front desk made me feel right at home. My hygienist's motto was, "Thorough and Gentle," and she truly carried that out. They even have a paraffin wax for your hands, so you can relax while you are getting your cleaning (May not always be available, but it shows the extend in which they go through to help you feel relaxed and comfortable). Got in pretty quickly, mostly everyone seemed to be super nice. Only time i think I encountered someone slightly rude was once on the phone but I hope it was just a one time thing. I think they were aggravated because I had a question and maybe they just didn’t have time to answer it but maybe they were just having a bad day. Who knows. Besides that, everything else seemed to be pretty good! Honestly, what really and honestly stood out to me was a lovely individual named Brittany. I hadn’t met her before but she came in the room to administer another injection and she was just beyond pleasant. She honestly was the person I needed at that moment she entered the room. I was nervous and others seemed to not be as sympathetic or didn’t fully understand that I just needed someone to explain the process, answer a few concerns/questions and literally just spend a few minutes of their time. I honestly can’t commend Brittany enough for immediately understanding exactly what I needed. She went above and beyond to make sure I was fully informed, prepared, concerns addressed, etc. She was so sweet to offer to stay in the room with me (and I wish she did) but I told her I knew she probably had other people to assist with. Today I returned to pick up my replacement retainers and she greeted me with a huge smile. She asked me how I was doing and gave me a huge hug. Thank you for treating me so kindly and as if you’ve known me for years. I appreciate your awareness of individual’s needs and treating me as if I was family. You made my day today and definitely made my last visit so much more pleasant after feeling slightly like I was a burden/inconvenience to others even though they stated that I wasn’t. I've undergone lots of dental work for 60 years and have never before been treated by a dentist as thoughtfully and comprehensively as Dr. Watson. I'd been experiencing protracted dental/facial neuralgia for 8 months and during that time had sought prior help with multiple visits to a dentist, an endodontist, a periodontist and a maxillofacial surgeon but had received inadequate remedies. Dr. Watson took time to carefully interview me, evaluate my dental structure, and to determine that the likely source of my pain was a bite problem that had triggered my jaw muscles to be locked in a perpetual spasm. Through his over two decades of dental practice Dr. Watson has learned how subtle physical changes to the dynamics of the bite mechanism due to dental repairs and chipped teeth can be the culprit in causing nighttime teeth grinding that results in jaw muscle inflammation and spasms. He proceeded to reshape lightly a few of my teeth (painlessly, without anesthetic) and as he was doing so I was amazed to feel the muscles in my jaw begin to relax! Note that although he does not claim to be a TMJ specialist I think he more than deserves the title of "Jaw Whisperer," and his staff is fantastic too.
