OUTSTANDING! I have terrible teeth and have been to many excellent dentists over the years but then I moved to Middle TN and had a steady stream of bad ones....until I found Dr. Horne and his fantastic staff. I have been a very happy patient of Dr. Horne's now for about 13 years now and can't speak highly enough about him. I also want to add that I have been to dentists who would tell me that I needed work that was not necessary and hugely expensive. Dr. Horne does not do this. He will tell you what is needed and what is optional for vanity. His office is also incredibly efficient - I have never been kept waiting. They are wonderful!

I was appreciative when someone called from the office with specific instructions about the precautions that must be followed. (I called in July, a month prior to my appointment to begin deciding about keeping my appointment. ) I am so very pleased with not only the amended entrance procedures but also how the staff embraced the need to be safe in all aspects of the word. This dental visit was my first during Covid. I checked in from my car and was brought right in and greeted by staff who was in PPE, had my temp taken, asked to sanitize my hands and wipe my cell phone clean. Throughout my visit every precaution was taken and explained to me. I am a nurse who appreciates their care and concern for all of our safety. I doubt if there is an operating room that is cleaner! And, as usual, Dr Horne and his staff is the best!

I was contacted by Dr. Horne’s office to check on me and to see if I would be able to attend my scheduled visit. They have been closed for two months due to the Corona Pandemic. All of my arrival procedures were explained very clearly, and it is OBVIOUS that the Entire Staff is equipped with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), but there is a $10 fee. I arrived with my own gear, my temperature was taken and things went on as usual. 👍 I am NOT an, “Oh, joy! I get to go to the Dentist 🦷 person”, but they are super professional!

We may know your names temporarily, but in this Busy world you & we share—we don’t remember your names necessarily during our treatment. You should have nice looking Bold-lettered (that we can read) name badges, or Sewn-in. - You know our names, but we should know who you are, too, AS A reminder. Dr. Horne has done several fillings for me (once I think I had 5 at the same time). He is gentle, professional, and takes sufficient time for the numbing medications (both gel and injection) to work. I have been very pleased with his treatment. 4/10/23 I had another filling today, and as usual, Dr. Horne's treatment was gentle and tolerable. He explained what he was going to do and the sounds I'd hear. The dental assistant gave me numbing gel so the injection to numb me didn't hurt. Dr. Horne kept me entertained with stories while he was working. :)
