I'm new to Nashville and went in for a teeth cleaning. The office is conveniently located in the Gulch and has a nice clean modern look. Reception staff was very nice and professional and I was seated in the chair quickly. The dental hygienist Courtney did a great job with teeth cleaning and Dr. Harris was attentive and efficient in checking that everything looked great and answered all my questions and was diligent in asking if I had any particular issues I wanted addressed. A quick and efficient trip to the dentist!

Can’t say enough about Gulch Dental! I have severe dental anxiety and am always put at ease by Dr. Harris and his team. I’ve had some fillings, TMJ consult, as well as a general 6 month cleaning. I have been going to Gulch Dental Studio for a couple years now after I moved to Nashville. I wanted to take the time to write a good review as most people only write reviews when they feel like something bad has happened. Every time I go in I'm greeted with a smile and lots of kindness. All the staff is very friendly and personable. I had some work done to a tooth that was chipped and Dr. Harris did a phenomenal job with the repair. I also had to have a follow up appoint because I grind my teeth and messed it up. The staff got me right and Dr. Harris touched it up and I was good as new with in 10 minutes. This is by far the best dentist in Nashville, in my opinion.

They’re good at what they do. The work will speak for itself.. they did my two central maxillary teeth and they look amazing. Definitely going back to have them finish my veneers! And I literally worked with the same dental assistant lady each time I went so it made it more comfortable and the process easy and they’re affordable!

The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating, and the hygienist that does my cleaning is very thorough yet efficient. My appointments have always run on-time as well, which is important for me since I'm usually taking time away from work. I also recently had an old filling replaced and I was very impressed with Dr Harris. He was incredibly fast and made me feel as comfortable throughout the process. I've been so pleased as a patient here, and I couldn't imagine a reason to go anywhere else.

So where do I start, I fly in from houston to visit nashville. Eat some hard food and find that my crown falls off. I tried to cement it back, a no go. Called 12 dentists, yes 12 .. all gave me the run around, not helpful. Just when I was about to give up, I call these fine people as a last ditch effort.. and wow!! Nice person answer phone, listens to me.. shows empathy and begins to tell me what they can do for me. Office managers please model yourself after this.. empathy + assurance it goes a long way. They fit me in on a short day (friday).. I walk in, they got to work quickly, with precision. I was in and out in 45 min. World class service, wish they were in my home town. The receptionist wonderful smile and friendly. Doctor professional, assistant professional… highly recommend!

I’ve been to lots of dentists and have unfortunately not been blessed with the best teeth. Every filling and crown done here is exquisite, fast, no issues with my bite after, they’ve taken every insurance I’ve had while I dealt with job hopping the last two years, and they’re super helpful and quick to answer any billing or finance questions I have. Yes I know that wasn’t a real sentence. It’s google who cares. Their scheduling is flexible and the staff is friendly. Not to mention I feel like I’m in Hollywood when I’m there. Cannot recommend this place enough!

They know what they are doing and they are super cool and down to earth! Dr. Harris is amazing. My daughter’s TMJ treatment has been nothing short of a miracle. We spent years trying to find her relief - we tried all the things- and were at the point of considering surgery, when l found Dr. Harris. My daughter suffered so much with TMJ - some mornings her mouth would barely open, within two weeks of her first treatment she had full range of motion - and more importantly - no pain! Having moved from Los Angeles in 2020 I had not been ready to visit a dentist in Nashville until today. Can’t believe I waited so long, almost felt like I was at a (tooth) spa! The dentist is very personable and geared to your individual needs. Jenna was my hygienist and was amazing, gentle yet super thorough. Wait for it, Dr. said I needed no treatment at my 50 years old I was excited to hear! And wait for it again, Dr. provides Botox cosmetic - I literally had the best dentist visit and got my eyebrows lifted in one hour!!!! If there was 10 stars I’d give 11

I’ve gone to this clinic for cleanings and just had two crowns done (and numerous fillings). All of the staff are very courteous; the dental hygienists are capable and friendly! Dr. Scott Harris is great. He answers all my questions and seems to be conservative and clinically sound with his treatment plans. I’ve been to other dental offices that seemed to just want to do as many procedures as possible, but I don’t feel this way at the Gulch Dental Studio. Finally, when I had two crowns and a filling done (whew that’s a lot!), they checked in with me frequently to make sure I was doing okay. Definitely recommend!

This is a very nice place to get your cleanings done if you live in or near Downtown Nashville. The staff was very nice and my hygienist(Jenna) was very attentive. I have to get some extra work done and was quoted the wrong price, but they texted me next day to explain everything and asked if I still wanted to proceed. Good customer service is hard to find these days but GDS delivers!

The team at Gulch Dental are fantastic. From the moment you enter their stunning lobby, you’re made to feel like a priority. Never have I experienced a long wait time to be seen - they always call me back to the chair immediately - so it feels like your time is respected, which is way different than other practices I’ve gone to where you’re left to wait 20+ minutes. Just moved to Nashville and chose Gulch dental as my dentist due to the convenience of living next door. Called for an appointment and they had a 7am appointment available two weeks later which worked great for my schedule! GD employees were very nice and attentive to my concerns during first visit. This office is amazing. It’s a really relaxing atmosphere and I waited maybe like 1 minute after I got there. I have dental anxiety so I chose to get nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and it was the best cleaning ever!! Everything from the really nice staff to the massage dental chairs is amazing. The first available that fit my crazy work schedule was a month out, so the receptionist offered to call me if they received a cancellation. From the ease at which I was able to set my first appointment (they responded almost immediately to my online inquiry), to the professional and efficient way the staff communicates (for me, email is always best and they have no problem with that)—Gulch Dental Studio quickly became a no-brainer choice for me when I was looking for a new dental office. The office itself is stunning... true Gulch vibes for days. And my cleanings have been great! However, the "piece de resistance," as they say, has been the introduction of their therapeutic botox into my life. I have had TMJ symptoms since I can remember and have been an extreme teeth grinder for my entire adult life. Since getting (relatively affordable!) botox in both sides of my jaw, my symptoms have improved dramatically. I have also received botox treatments in my forehead—both for cosmetic improvements and as an attempt to lessen the number of tension and migraine headaches I experience on a regular basis. This treatment has been life changing. I believe due to the nature and origin points of my headaches (the grinding and intense brown furrowing which both worsen under stress, specifically) getting this combination of treatments has dramatically reduced my number of headaches and significantly improved my quality of life. I am sharing all of these specifics because anyone who experiences regular headaches knows they are not all created equal—and botox may not be the answer for you. For me, someone who had never tried botox before and was completely unaware of its therapeutic uses, it has become an unexpected blessing—and I have Dr. Harris and his staff to thank for that! The best part? I was never at any point "sold" botox while I was "in the chair." The fact they offered botox at the office was very casually mentioned during my cleaning in a natural and enjoyable conversation and it was only when I showed extreme interest that more information was shared, not before. Gulch Dental Studio is not out to sell you a cure for your fine lines and wrinkles. It is a dang good dental practice first... and they may just be able to provide you with some other life changing treatments you can trust, if you're into that sort of thing. :)

I highly recommend Gulch Dental Studio and Dr, Harris. I have been in for numerous appointments for cleanings, fillings, crowns, and botox for bruxism. I've had positive experiences with both Dr. Harris and the dental hygienists each time. The botox has helped alleviate me from my symptoms related to grinding my teeth such as headaches and neck pain. I also had botox in a facial nerve after it was causing debilitating pain for months. It has been over 5 months and thankfully the pain has not yet returned. I'm thankful Dr. Harris was willing to listen to my issues and try solutions that might not have been offered by others. Surprised there are so many 5-star reviews. Yes, atmosphere is beautiful, but service is lacking. The office manager was unable to open the x-ray files from my prior dentist and would not call them herself to sort it out. Also, the hygienist’s sprayer was leaking and she sprayed water all over my face during the cleaning while giggling about it. Finally, I indicated on my intake form that I was not interested in anything cosmetic, but both the hygienist and dentist tried to upsell me on whitening products.

I should preface by saying I never leave reviews for business. But for this I simply had to. Gulch Dental Studio is, hands down, the best dental experience I've ever had in my life. From the from desk to the dentist chair, you receive nothing but the best care and attention imaginable. I have never liked going to the dentist. My whole life, it has been a painful, anxiety-ridden, uncomfortable, negative experience for me. So I carried that with me into Gulch Dental Studio for my first appointment. But the minute I interacted with even the first member of their team (Laura at the front desk, who is phenomenally kind and great at her job) I knew something was different about this dentist. The hygienist who brought me back and prepped me for Dr. Harris could tell I was nervous and took the time to talk to me, not like a patient, but like a human being, and didn't leave until all my questions were answered and all my fears alleviated. I am a two-time cancer survivor and the years I fought those battles wreaked havoc on my teeth and my smile. And I have always felt like I was being judged or looked down upon for the state of my teeth at every other dentist office I've ever been to. Not here. From the front desk to Dr. Harris, not one member of their team has ever made me feel anything but supported, invested in, and cared for. And once I met Dr. Harris I understood why. The atmosphere of kindness, care, and genuine investment in patients starts at the top with him and obviously trickles down throughout the entire studio. Dr. Harris is not only a great dentist, he's a good man. He was engaged and invested in my dental journey and took great care and time to figure out exactly what I needed done, breaking it down for me in a way I could understand, and then worked with me financially to determine how to accomplish all I needed done. At one point, one day before an appointment to fix a tooth that was very infected and causing extreme pain, I called him to ask if it would be possible to postpone that tooth in lieu of fixing my two front teeth, explaining that the psychological pain of not having my smile was, for me, way worse than the physical pain of the infected tooth. And that if it was possible, I would rather fix my two front teeth to get my smile back, then fix the infected tooth at a later time, when I could afford another procedure. It was after hours so I got his voicemail. However, within ten minutes he called me back and told me that he understood completely, but that as a doctor he couldn't knowingly ignore the active infection in that tooth, so he would fix the infected tooth AND my front teeth, and then work with me on the bill so I could get my infected tooth fixed AND my smile back, in one visit. I was floored. I have lived in the medical world for many years battling cancer, and I have NEVER experienced that level of care and kindness. And on top of all this, the actual work done on my teeth has been incredible. Definitely the highest quality of work I've ever experienced. Dr. Harris gave me my smile back, my confidence, and overall general happiness with life again. No more covering my mouth when I laugh, living in constant fear of showing my teeth. I feel more like me now than I have in over a decade, and it is all thanks to Dr. Harris and his incredibly talented and empathetic team. If you are looking for a dentist in Nashville or the surrounding areas, do yourself a favor and call Gulch Dental Studio. It'll be the best dental decision you've ever made. It certainly was for me.

I've been seeing Dr. Harris at Gulch Dental Studio for about 1.5 years, and I've had nothing but positive experiences. For many years, I've had a problem with excessive grinding of my teeth at night that has caused damage to my teeth and a lot of TMJ pain in my jaw. Despite wearing a specially made mouth guard every night, I regularly woke up grinding my teeth and in pain throughout the night. Dr. Harris was the first dentist who ever recommended Botox injections in my jaw to weaken the muscles and train my jaw to stop grinding so much over time. I had my first round of injections a little over a month ago, and I literally could barely feel the needles. The injections have already made a tremendous difference. I am sleeping so much better, and I am rarely waking up grinding my teeth. I no longer wake up with a deep pain in my jaw and molars. When I open my mouth now, there is no longer a painful clicking from the TMJ. I highly recommend trying out Botox injections for anyone who suffers from TMJ!!! This has been a life changer for me and something that I will continue doing long-term. I also wanted to give a shout-out to Dr. Harris, who has always treated me compassionately and wanted the best care for me. He is very aware of not causing pain, and he has even followed up to see how I'm doing afterward. He has a very positive attitude and is dedicated to making your experience the best it can possibly be. This is my favorite dental studio I've ever used.

I have been grinding my teeth since i was a child. Only after 20 years old did I start experiencing the long term negative side effects. Im 24 now, and I've lost two teeth and cracked more than I can remember. Not to mention the wearing of enamel, increased risk of cavities, gum recession, and tension headaches. No amount of cleaning, daily maintenance, or nightguards have been able to keep up. I came here in mid November of 2022 for my first masseter botox injection which lasted until beginning of February 2023. During that time, I woke up for the first time in years without headaches or tooth pain. I recently went in for my second visit on February 10th for another round. All the staff and the dentist himself are very kind and professional. I have had no negative side effects from the botox, and I'm generally very sensitive to all forms of medicines and treatments. Very kind and knowledgeable doctor at this establishment. Highly recommended
