I highly recommend Dentistry of Nashville! If I could give them 10 stars on here, I would. All of the staff are very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Going to the dentist gives me A LOT of anxiety, but the staff here always help me feel at ease. Dr. Vaughan is the best dentist ever! He helped restore my smile, and thanks to him, I now feel confident to show off my lovely smile. Loved ones think my smile is beautiful. In addition, he gave me a small book that included the New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs. I’ve been going through a lot in my personal life that most people don’t know about, and I thought it was a nice unexpected blessing to have been given that little book of scripture. I’ve been reading it daily which has helped me feel more at peace. I will definitely be referring everyone I know who is in need of dental care to Dentistry of Nashville!

These guys are true professionals - they were super flexible with scheduling and were able to fast-track me from first checkup to wisdom teeth removal in less than two weeks. Dr. Vaughn is possibly the best dentist I have ever been treated by - super efficient, very clearly a veteran of the profession, and provided thorough explanations and treatment options. Lisa, who was my RDA, was very patient with me and made sure I had a good experience (as much as pulling teeth can be). Overall a great experience. I cannot recommend them enough.

OK, so this may take a little explaining. I recently was suffering from a bone spicule (as I was to learn), which is a protrusion of bone through the gum tissue. It was very sharp and irritating my tongue when I talked or swallowed. I asked for an emergency appointment, and they saw me within hours. I was treated with sympathy and care. Dr. Fleming examined me, and explained what the situation was, carefully and reassuringly. An oral surgeon could excise it, but they usually healed themselves in a relatively short time. He could tell I was disappointed that it couldn't be magically healed on the spot, but urged me to be patient. "Give it a week," he said, and provided some referrals to oral surgeons if it didn't improve in that time frame. The very next day (!) the bone spur dislodged and my mouth was much better. What I really appreciated was Dr. Fleming's steering me away from unnecessary and expensive care, even though he could tell I wanted my discomfort to disappear immediately. It isn't that he wasn't sympathetic, it was that he understood that my impatience was not in my actual best interest. The turn of events demonstrated that he was absolutely right. These are trustworthy professionals who are not trying to sell you therapies or cater to your panicky self-diagnoses, but who use their long experience and medical expertise to give you the treatment best for you (and your wallet!). I'm very grateful.

I had an urgent need due to profuse gum bleeding and his assistant got me in a first thing appt on a Monday. Dr Vaughn diagnosed an infection and I was promptly prescribed antibiotics. Dr Vaughn is not one to do so "just because" so I new this was serious business. I could not be with a better dental practice. Dr Vaughn and his staff is awesome!

I've never liked going to the dentist. Most people don't like going to the dentist, but we all have to go from time to time. Dr. Fleming and his talented tech Melissa are amazing! My journey with them went from having severe panic attacks on visits when we were just doing consultations (nothing was going to happen) to comfortable regardless of procedure for that visit. I had 4 crowns done (all at the same time) the last time I was in. I was calm and reassured. I didn't even need to take a break at all (though they offered it to me.) Their recommendation for an endodontist for the necessary two root canals before the tooth crown clean up and placement procedure was on point. With the amount done at this time, Melissa even personally checked up on me! From reception to the technical staff to accounting dealing with my complicated insurance company; I don't think you could find a better professional office and team. The heightened (needed) COVID precautions that require added awareness and caution; they have amplified their technology/procedures to ensure your safety and anyone else who may be there. Feel free to ask about me; they *may* remember me and at least can personally confirm my story. Y'all can giggle about it at my expense but know I take pride in it. (If I need to sign HIPPA stuff staff, this is my approval, or I would be happy to sign something else if needed). If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Fleming and his staff at Elam, Vaughn, and Fleming!!! Be kind, pay it forward, and bless.

As to the previous reviews discussing reception staff, I can't really speak to that as I've only really signed in and the follow up was handled by the hygienists. Practice is also very flexible; I've had 3 visits in less than 2 weeks to get everything sorted out.
