Front desk staff was very warm and and inviting. I arrived 10 minutes early. Sign in process was very easy. I was taken back early. My dental hygienist was very nice. She explained everything she was doing before she did it and made sure I was handling everything well during my cleaning. Dentist was super nice. I didn’t feel like he was trying to find things to fix, if you know what I mean. Overall I was very pleased and I made my next appointment before I left.

I really love this place. I always have the same hygienist and she is great. Dr Clayton and his staff are my favorite dentist I have ever had. My only complaint would be that they sent too many text/email reminders but it isn’t annoying enough to take away a star.

I’ve had constant dental work done ever since I can remember, and after moving here (and bouncing around from dentists), this is the first team that has really put my worries at ease. It is always a good experience when Ashley cleans my teeth. Dr. Clayton is very personable, friendly, and kind. I appreciate the advice he gave me when I was considering an issue with my dental care involving orthodontics in my 60’s. I took his advice and have been extremely pleased with the results. All the issues were taken care of, and I now have straight teeth for a pretty smile, healthier teeth and gums since the teeth are not so crowded, and a correct bite that took care of ear and jaw pain. I was happy with a good six month checkup today.

The pain in my tooth came in quick and fast, I couldn’t eat or apply any pressure to the tooth in the back. The Dr. assessed the situation and gave me options in minutes. I was able to get the tooth extracted and immediately the pain was gone. So happy!!

I came to get a second opinion about my tooth that a dentist at a different office said I needed to immediately get a root canal for and they would have to crown my tooth. When I met with Dr. Grant Diffee he was very straightforward and informed me that clinically nothing was wrong with my tooth. I cant thank him enough! His assistant was also very polite and courteous. At checkout I met with Brittany and she was just wonderful. She was very compassionate about my past experiences at dental offices and gave me a lot of good financial information. I was really impressed with the crew at CDG. With being a new patient there, the front office made sure they had what was needed to get me in the system, and that I knew what to bring to my appointment. Once I was taken back, Ashlee was really thorough in explaining what needed to be done, and why; going over the costs and insurance coverages; and detailing the timing what would be done that day, along with the next steps. All in all, a great visit for a person who hasn't been to a dentist in 26 years.

This was actually my first time going into a facility where I had to spend time around/close to other people during quarantine and I really feel like the safety guidelines that were put in place made me feel comfortable and safe. I haven’t had a dental home in quite a while because the last place I went to hurt me. Here, I felt that my dentist wanted to listen to me and wanted to help me. The woman that I got (i really wish i remembered her name) was extremely nice and made me feel very comfortable. I really liked her. The lady that I checked in with was extremely patient with me and helpful and kind as well. Dr. Clayton was extremely informative and made me feel comfortable with the concerns he had and how to resolve them. I have only been here once. I don’t know if I’ll be able to see the same dentist again, nor do I know if my experience will be the same. I am going back again for a cleaning and would love to follow up! However, first experience was definitely a good one.

I have been going to this dental group since 2003. It has been life-changing. They have eased my fears in every way. You are in capable, talented, caring hands with any procedure done here. (I’ve had several: cavity, bridge work, crown, cleanings, wisdom tooth extraction, cosmetic, etc.) The staff are kind and professional. The office is also updated with nice decor. The whole experience is worth it, even if you have to drive a little farther. I moved farther away but never considered changing dentists because this one is the best! So grateful for Dr. Clayton and the group.

Dr. Diffee Rocks! I needed a new dentist in my network and I definitely made the right choice. I had to get a crown put on a large sealant replaced they got me in quickly and did an amazing job. All of the staff are super friendly and welcoming and make you feel comfortable and at home. Not mentioning doctor’s knowledge and effective referral of my wisdom teeth recommendations, all staff at CDG showed their genuineness whenever I approached to front desk for registration, was directed by one of the hygienists, and was reached out via phone calls. This made me feel relaxed and trusted of their business and procedures. Entire procedure was accurately estimated by the doctor and utilized professional and dependable equipment brands, such as Oral B, Crest, making me feel comfortable and joyous throughout my procedure. Last but not least, the waiting room has family photos and is clean and well-organized. This is a plus of my review. I will open up and spill the beans on this group or. Clayton's practice (he took over after John retired) and felt as if I was back home yesterday. Same staff who still knew me. Difference was Dr. Clayton. I have been a patient of Dr. John Gholson for at least, if not more than 25 years until he retired. I tried another dentist closer to me, but returned to Donelson where I was welcomed back. Only difference, he's younger than John. And my first experience with him tested him. Had to have a tooth pulled. It broke off and he never paused. Got the whole thing out and had to go as far as the jaw bone to do it. Had a prescription for pain relief for the evening and as it went, I woke up around 9 pm after a short nap and had no pain. Never had to take a one of them So I'll make the trip from Gallatin to Donelson whenever I need to go and be glad to see my friends again. 2/27/2020) Have had another couple of experiences, no emergencies ..but not something I could wait a little time on. You're greeted at the door with a smile and hello and leave with a smile, unless you had work done and your smile hasn't come back because the medication hasn't worn off and your lips won't raise on one side or the other.
