The team at Skyway Dental always goes above and beyond in friendliness and professionalism. They are relaxed and comforting, even when you may feel stressed about seeing a dentist. Dr Fred is really great at explaining everything he is doing and why. I recently had an impacted piercing in my face. My MD did not know how to attack this problem, so he just gave me an antibiotic. The piercing person I saw later, said I should see Dr. I called my dentist, at that point. Somehow I knew Dr Fred would figure this out, and he did not disappoint. He also made sure any dent in my face would be on the inside, by the procedure he used. I have gone to Skyway for any other real dental needs for at least 5 years and plan to continue. GREAT people and SMART dentist.

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Maggie Thomson and the entire Skyway Dental Clinic staff. I broke my jaw and dislodged a tooth in an accident. After getting a referral to an oral surgeon from Dr. Thomson, the earliest appointment date I could get wasn't for another 6 weeks. Cindy at the front desk was AMAZING and a fierce advocate in calling nearby oral surgeons to get me an appointment much earlier so I could get my dental health taken care of. You will not regret going to Skyway Dental Clinic. 10/10 patient care, 10/10 experience.

I had the opportunity to meet Cindy, Eileen, Kim, and Dr. Thompson. All four made my experience at Skyway Dental Clinic phenomenal! I have always struggled with insecurities regarding my teeth. When I went into the clinic, each of them welcomed me with a positive attitude and a smiling face (through the mask, but I could tell). Dr. Thompson listened to what I wanted, gave me the options I had, and explained each option in detail. She is very kind and helpful in finding what would work best work for you. For the first time in a long time, I am very happy with my choice to make Skyway my primary dental provider. If I could give them 6 stars, I definitely wouldn't hesitate!

This is by far the friendliest dental office I’ve been too since leaving my hometown dental office. Fred is an exceptional dentist. He helps us keep our oral condition in an excellent condition for more than 20 years. Fred put crown on of my teeth many years ago. Two months ago, I felt pain on this tooth. Today I visited his clinic. Fred gently removed top portion of the tooth. To my great surprise, at the end, he told me today’s service was free. To me Fred took his dental services extremely seriously! That touch my heart!

Dr. Maggie Craven Thompson did a fantastic job! I think the thing I liked best was that my first visit was just with Maggie. She was there from the first minute, through the X-rays, Took pictures of my teeth, and even cleaned my teeth herself. To me, this is above and beyond. It really shows dedication to taking a new patient in and really evaluating them and getting to know their issues. I had a busted crown, and she offered to fix it same day. I’d have taken her up on that if not for a meeting already scheduled. Subsequent visit the following week to replace the crown was just as good. Maggie was able to numb me up first try! Many dentists struggle to find my nerve, and I’ve had one dentist try three times before I just said let’s get on with it. So I was super surprised, and delighted.

I’ve never had a dentist spend so much time during the visit with me. The dentist even did my actual teeth cleaning. Very personable and explains things in detail and easy to understand. Best dentist experience I’ve ever had. The receptionist (who is also a dental assistant), was also super awesome and helpful... both on the phone beforehand and day of the appointment.

Everything about this clinic is perfect. I have been a client here for a few years now and have had visits for major dental work to regular cleanings and checkups. The facility is well maintained with modern equipment. The doctors and staff are excellent all around and emphasize being informative; it's very nice to have a family-type practice conveniently in downtown Minneapolis. I will never go anywhere else! (Unless I move out of state, I guess) If you are looking for a new clinic, definitely give Skyway a try.

I have never enjoyed going to the dentist until I became a patient at Skyway. The entire team at Skyway Dental is fantastic. They really care about you don't make you feel like you're just another patient they see every six months. Dr. Fred walks you through your exam and talks you through your care and any procedures recommended. I have never had an issue with billing or communication with their office. Highly recommend!

Dr. Fred is very friendly, funny and has a great amount of patience. He likes to make sure his patients know everything that he’s doing on their teeth. He will not rush you just like the other staff. They keep asking me if I feel I uncomfortable or hurt during the procedures and I appreciate that a lot. Although I was surprised they didn’t have the panoramic X-ray machine but everything else is good.
