Rachel was my dental hygienist today and she was amazing! She took the time to clean the coffee stains around my braces (first hygienist to do that and it's been almost 2 years) and I can finally smile and not think "yuck"! And Dr. Klaus is wonderful, takes his time to explain things. Been going here for years and very happy with their care. Definitely recommend to others 👌

Wonderful staff and service at Northeast Dental Wellness. They have taken such good care of my families dental needs over the years. I came to them after years of neglect on my part and over the course of a few years we’ve gotten my mouth back to being in great shape with mostly cleanings and other small services needed. I’ve also had major things done over the years such as crown and an implant and have had no problems. I even had a crown come out during a cleaning recently, and they were able to sneak me in between patients and recement the crown into place and fix a small cavity in the tooth next to it. It was so nice to be taken care of on the spot and not have to come back for another appointment. Top notch care given by all doctors and staff at this dentists office!

The office was very pleasant and clean and I appreciated that the staff took additional time to walk me through their protocols for maintaining cleanliness and safety in a post-COVID environment. My hygienist Jessica was outstanding! She was so kind during the entire visit, gentle on my teeth, and gave detailed and thoughtful answers to all of my questions. Dr. Clouse was also very personable and thorough. My entire experience was a delight! I will definitely be going back and have already recommended this office to many of my friends.

I've bounced around a lot of dental offices over the past 20 years, and NE Dental Wellness is easily the best I've been to. Dr. Kwon is a true professional, both skilled at his craft and his interactions with patients. The hygienists and other staff all do a great job as well. One thing that sets them apart IMO is how they know when to stop the chit chat and get to work on your teeth. I've been to plenty of dentists where this was a skill they lacked!

I’ve been going to NEDW for years. Michelle has been my go-to hygienist for so long - she is so thorough, and I’ve NEVER left her, feeling the cleanest I’ve always ever felt! She is beyond awesome!!! I started seeing Dr. Clause when Michelle joined the clinic, and he’s always been so thoughtful and thorough as well. I always feel very taken cared of, referrals for specialty work, etc. At my last cleaning, he noticed a filling on my front tooth could use some new work. I’ve always actually been a bit self conscious of some discoloration, and I’m glad he noticed and said something. He repaired it this morning, and I didn’t think I’d be so happy about this…. The discoloration is completely gone, he repaired some additional filing, and I feel like a new person! I have confidence in those teeth that I was actually conscious about before… I love NEDW, the staff (Kaitlin recently went above and beyond re: scheduling for me), the hygienist’s, the physicians… I keep moving further and further away, but I’ll never not go out of my way to keep coming back!

It’s taken me a long time to find a dentist I like and one that tries to help me instead of shame me. I don’t have bad teeth, but I have normal problems like everyone else. My first visit I was met with cheer, professionalism, and a list of ways to tackle some long standing issues like TMJ which I have gotten little to no help with at previous dentists. NE Dental Wellness has been my go-to since I moved to the neighborhood almost a decade ago after years of going without dental care. They're really great, have always been kind, welcoming, supportive, and professional, and take great care with their clients. They've gone above-and-beyond adapting their practice to minimize COVID risk. As a very careful person, I was greatly reassured by both the visible measures (screens, HEPA air purifiers, etc.) as well as the invisible measures (increased HVAC pressure, greater time/space between clients in central cleaning rooms, minimizing use of aerosol-generating techniques).

Dr. Kwon is very professional, he explains everything very well and has a very pleasant manor, he cares about his patients. I trust him completely. The office emailed me to let me know they were back open for business since covid 19. I called and they answered my concerns and assured me it was safe. I made an appointment and was very impressed with all the safety precautions that were taken. I don't know of anything they could do better. Great job! Great clinic, I highly recommend them!

My kids are always excited to go to the dentist. The Northeast Dental Wellness Team is awesome. Their kids' toys are up to date (per my daughter) and cool. The change of name and dentists has been a positive change (although nothing was wrong with the previous practice). Both dentists are personable and informative. The staff make you feel comfortable. For anyone who is looking for compassionate dentists and assistants please consider going here. I have had trouble teeth my whole life and experienced my share of shaming from previous dentists who have made me scared to go back. After 10 years, I had some serious issues which forced me to find a new dentist. I feel so fortunate to have found NE Dental Wellness! Dr. Clouse and everyone on his team have been so kind and gentle with me. They came up with a plan to get everything fixed and reviewed it with me (including costs) weeks before we started doing anything. I feel like my opinion matters and not once have they made me feel bad about the condition my teeth are in. I still don't love going to the dentist, but these people are slowly changing my mind because I do love NE Dental Wellness. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

NE Dental Wellness turns dreaded dentist appointments into positive experiences. My hygienist provides tips, feedback, and support for me to maintain my healthiest mouth. Dr. Clouse is especially friendly and makes you feel like you're right at home, or up north, with his thick Minnesotan accent. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly kind and attentive to peoples' schedules. I even won a monthly drawing my first time going there, it was for a $50 Jax gift card; what a pleasant surprise! On top of that, my sister got a small Caribou gift card in the mail for referring me there! It's cool to see how much they value our business. My one critique is that I used to get mouthwash, floss, toothpaste, a toothbrush, and coupons for dental products. This time I got a toothbrush and floss; not a big deal at all, just something that I noticed. Thank you NE Dental Wellness!

I found this clinic after passing it on a run and being struck by the exterior of the building. It seemed sophisticated, modern, and yet also fit right into the neighborhood. My first experience at the clinic was great. Pam was warm with her initial welcome and processed my paperwork quickly. Nicky was the best hygienist I have seen, she was thorough and thoughtful, explaining things as we went along. She instantly made me feel comfortable with her friendliness and chair-side manner. Dr. Kwon, a former military dentist, was very professional and thorough with his exam. He provided his thoughts on follow up care and clearly explained the different options and why he would recommend them. Nicky coordinated with Pam to get pre-authorizations from my insurance company for any follow up care options so that I could make a decision based on coverage. To top it off, they do a monthly drawing where they give away gift cards to businesses in Northeast Minneapolis. They really seem to value being a part of the local community and I am looking forward to being their dental patient for the years to come!

After too many years of not doing the "right thing" with my dental maintenance, time caught up with me. I was, of course brushing and flossing, I just wasn't doing the necessary dental visits. I finally had a situation that required me to make a dentist appointment. Like most people I assume, I was feeling a certain amount of embarrassment for my lack of care and the state I that had let my teeth get to. It was that same embarrassment and trepidation that had kept me away from the dentist for far too long. Fortunately for me, I was referred to NE Dental Wellness... What a great group of people! All the way from the receptionists to the dentists - I was treated with the utmost kindness and concern for my situation and given the best dental care. Never once did I feel judged or treated with any condescension. In fact, I was contrarily told that "it's all fixable" and given a treatment plan to get me back on track. I had another wonderful visit. I know a lot of people dread going to the dentist, but I find going every 6 months is the best preventive measure you can take. The dentist hygienist used water pressure to clean my teeth , instead of the old method of scraping your teeth with metal tools. My dental Hygienist also helped me picked out a new electric toooh brush made by Philips Sonicare. The Dentist office gets two models direct from the company and offers them you at a substantial discount(cheaper than Amazon or Target) I use Dr Kwon as my primary Dentist there and he does a wonderful job if I should need additional work on my teeth other than cleaning. The staff is friendly and professional. Ample parking on the street and a nice remodeled building inside and outside. I feel you will not find a better place to bring your children or yourself for dental care. I would rate them higher if I could ( 6 STARS +++++). To put it as simple as I can , this dentist office is the standard every other Dental Office should strive to emulate.

I got a new crown on one of my front teeth, and I really appreciated Dr. Kwon's eye for perfection, and willingness to work with me to make sure my tooth in the front of my smile was the best it could be. All of the staff in the office are always smiling, and are very positive, happy individuals, so as a patient, it makes for a really wonderful environment to be in. Both Dr.Kwon and the dental assistants were always checking in to make sure that I was doing okay while they were working on my mouth. I was always doing great, but the fact that they wanted to ensure my comfort through the entire visit, really meant a lot. I was so thrilled and happy with the final result of my new tooth, that I had to stop myself from dancing out of the office :D!! I am SOOO excited now to show off my smile!
