Clean location. Cozy setting with fireplace waiting area. Friendly staff. Great staff for people with kids or dental anxiety. Has Elevator to 2nd floor dental rooms. Has a kids coin turning machine for a toy after their dental visit. Has a coat hanging area. Has clean bathroom.

Been going here for years, but just had a (dare I say???) FUN cavity filling with Ume and Dr. Nick, so I am finally inspired to write a review! They were efficient and I felt very cared for today. In all my other numerous appointments, I have never had a bad time. (Except once when someone used a new-fangled electronic scrapey tool on me when actually my favorite part is the scraping of the plaques and that was just terrible. But as soon as I said something, they never used it again in any following appts.). They have been great helping my son get comfortable with the dentist too, very patient and let us have an appointment that wasn't really even anything except getting him comfortable and letting him sit in the chair. It's a cozy, friendly environment. I'm glad I found them. Would recommend to family and friends all the way. Oh yeah, and they always know almost instantly what my insurance will cover so I can make decisions easily and quickly. Scheduling is also super efficient and easy. I guess, I just love this place. Never really thought about it but dang. I really do.

Each and every appointment with Larson Dental is a positive one! They are so friendly and informative. I have learned so much about what is good and bad for my teeth and they are so nice while they clean. For anyone looking for a new dentist, there is no one I can recommend more than Dr. Kallie. I have been to multiple dentists myself and hands down she is the best one. She not only knows her stuff; she makes sure you understand what is happening and what your options are. If you want a dentist who really cares about giving you the best smile possible that’s Dr. Kallie! Also to top it off, the rest of the staff is amazing, everyone is super friendly, easy to talk to, and will explain everything you need to know around treatment, scheduling and billing.

I was referred to Larson Dental about 2 years ago. I have had periodontics issues all my life, scaling, surgery etc. Penny, the hygienist, taught me so much and is so caring. When I first went there, I gripped the chair, knowing that measuring pockets would be awful, now it doesn't even hurt. No one previously spent the time to really teach me what to do in detail. Dr. Larson and Dr. Devon explain everything about the procedures and even give you their home number in case something happens after hours. What dentist do you know that does that? Talk about going the extra mile and caring about people. I highly recommend Larson Dental. I tell all my friends how caring and welcoming everyone is that works there.

I have been there for cleanings & fillings with different hygienists and dentists and all have been very informative, gentle, and helpful. Been coming here a couple years now for regular cleaning and fillings. Larson came recommended by a friend and every visit I've had has been great. The staff is wonderful and friendly, and all my cleanings and procedures have been done with minimal discomfort. I've even had two fillings now where I opted to hold off on anesthetic until I felt pain and never did. Easily the best practice I can ever remember going to for dental work.

Larson dental is amazing. Everything is so CLEAR and transparent. They check into your insurance and explain billing/costs to you clearly. The environment is warm and welcoming. Every staff member from receptionists to hygienists to dentists are lovely. My hygienist in particular, Laurie, is seriously wonderful. She's so sweet and explains everything that she's doing, and you can tell she really CARES about the health of your teeth. I'm so happy I found her and I'm actually proud to be a patient here. If you have toddlers, TAKE THEM HERE! The staff was so welcoming and friendly to my little ones. They even played with them while we waited for the dentist. Overall, our experience was amazing and my toddlers loved being at the dentist! They made them feel so special. I have been to Larson Dental since l was a little girl. In fact it was my family dental place.My dentist was Jim and he was a great dentist. The torch was passed to Kim larson who became my dentist and he was wonderful and had a great personality. After he retired i chose Dr. Devon and I am very happy with him. To me, his response showed a good sense of integrity and responsibility that he carries for the clinic. ——————— The hygienists and dentists are fine and do their jobs well. My poor rating is in regards to unprofessional and rude behavior I experienced from one of their receptionists, Julie. When I reached out to Larson Dental with my experience and how I was affected by it, I was not given a reply even 10 days later. I will not be returning to the clinic.

Always a great experience! My hygienist, Angie, clearly cares about her patients. Much more than just a teeth cleaning. Always adding and enhancing my oral hygiene with different suggestions and techniques. At my last visit they helped identify possible dental related issues that could be leading to other health concerns, specifically sleep apnea. I will be continuing to pursue this with Larson!

What I absolutely love about Larson Dental is that they alleviate one of the most dreaded medical appointments we all must face! They do so by hiring staff that is both kind and considerate, doctors who are knowledgeable and relatable, offering a care plan at a reasonable rate, providing a comfortable environment, all while playing a fun playlist to enjoy while being stuck in that chair. Tracy and Sandy at the front desk are always friendly and professional and set the tone for your appointment upon arrival. Laurie is a wonderful hygienist who has a very fun personality. She is skilled and works quickly without sacrificing quality. I’ve seen both Dr. Cory and Dr. Devon over the years and appreciate their approach to dental care, and I've always felt well-cared for. Larson Dental makes a not-so-fun dental appointment way more bearable dare I say enjoyable!

When I moved here 5+ years ago, I was not looking forward to a new dentist... but I can't believe how fortunate I was to have found Larson Dental. I have been going to Larson Dental my entire life, my parents go there, many of my relatives go there and now I bring my children there (even though we live 30 miles away). All of the staff there are wonderful and the environment is very warm and welcoming. Dr.Cory and Dr. Devin are amazing! My daughter had some anxiety about having a couple cavities filled, Dr. Cory went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and that her experience was a positive one. I just visited Larson Dental for the first time this morning for a cleaning and I was really impressed! The moment I walked in the front door, I was warmly greeted. The office and waiting areas are very comfortable, unlike any dental clinic I've been before. The dentist and hygienist were excellent, taking time to answer questions and explain procedures for me. Penny did such a nice job cleaning my daughter’s teeth! It was her first time at the dentist and she was so patient and kind to her. She seemed to really know how to work with kids and made the whole experience very fun, including letting her press the elevator buttons. This dental office was recommended to me by a friend and colleague after I had an unfortunate corn nut incident. I was able to get in right away. Very happy with the level of service and care I have received. It had been an embarrassingly long time since I had been to the dentist, and they were so amazing I have been going back every 6 months. Would definitely recommend! Maybe not as important to some, but the music is great too - lots of variety.

I've always felt like part of the family going to Larson Dental. My kids enjoyed their first trip and Kim was sooo nice to them. We started going here with the reference from my wife's parents and always where totally happy. The staff has always been a huge plus in my mind. Highly Recommended! What's not to love about Larson Dental!? They're a local, small business that's been operating 100 years in NE and they give back to the community in many ways. They have friendly staff that seem to love their job and they're great with kids. My young children have (unfortunately) needed some fillings and I am amazed at how quickly, calmly, and professionally the experience has been. The office is so pretty and comfortable, with a homey lobby and big windows in all of the examination rooms. I've been coming to Larson Dental for 20 some years and highly recommend it. The staff always knows you by sight and greets you with a smile every time. They make sure that everyone is able to pronounce my name, which is something that shows how much they care about their patients. They have dedicated staff who check your insurance to make sure you know exactly what's covered and isn't so you aren't spending a ton, either. Dr. Corey is so knowledgeable and personable that it's hard to imagine going to another dentist.

I am 63 years old and have never used any other dental office. Dr. Bob Larson, Dr. Kim Larson and now Dr. Cory Larson have all been excellent Dentists for me. Dr. Frans Larson (the founder) was still practicing when I was young but I did not have that 1st generation of the 4 work on me. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing and the whole staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Larson dental is the best place for your teeth in Minneapolis. All of the staff are so freindly and helpful-they seem to genuinely care for their patients. It is a 4th or 5th generation dental office which is so rare these days, and it seems like they are carrying on a great legacy in the neighborhood. They have a great NE location in a restored building with an elevator too! I love my dental hygienist Kim, I’ve never had such thorough but gentle cleanings done! And Dr. Cory is great-he listens and explains things completely. They really focus on giving you options rather than telling you what you have to do which is very comforting. They have all the latest equipment and services people need. Plus they are available on call in case of emergency. How many dentists out there will share their personal numbers so you are taken care of? I can’t say enough good things about Larson dental.

I did not receive dental care from Larson Dental but i feel it is necessary to point out the amazing customer service before my appointment. I was notified before my appointment with Larson Dental that my insurance would not cover as much as they would at another Dentist, which is amazing customer service! If they do work like they do customer service, i would trust them with all my dental needs.

Wonderful experience. It had been far too long since I had been to the dentist and had always feared the judgement I would receive which made me avoid going. We visited Larson Dental last week. I'm a long time patient but it was my 3 year old son's first dental visit. I was impressed with how they were so able to handle a preschooler. My son was nervous at first, but in no time my son let them clean his teeth and let them put fluoride on his teeth. They let him hold everything first and he even got some sunglasses to keep the bright light out of his eyes.

This is a wonderful dental clinic. The front office staff, dental assistants, and dental hygienists all seem happy to be there. The hygienists I've had are all thorough and supportive; they won't shame you or make you feel bad. When my parents were visiting from out of town my mom cracked a tooth and Larson Dental saw her right away and did a great job. I highly recommend this clinic.

I had a tooth removed here without insurance. To "save money" they recommend a patient plan costing $30/month to save money on the x-ray fees. Due to their schedule not being able to get me in for a cleaning in a reasonable amount of time and not following my instructions of canceling my plan after the 3 month minimum. I have now paid as much for a plan I essentially didn't have access to as I did for my tooth removal and have nothing to show for it. I feel really screwed over and taken advantage of by this company. My tooth extraction went well, but my experience of getting milked monthly has me really upset and will not be recommending this dentist office anymore.

I had a chunk of orthodontic cement stuck on a tooth (orthodontist would have charged me $85 to remove), and Larson Dental had extra time during my appointment and removed it at no charge. I must have some sort of nerve that wasn't numbed down enough and I felt some pain while they were drilling which made my anxiety skyrocket. I live and work in a town over a half hour away from Larson Dental, but I will make the trek to NE Minneapolis, even in rush hour traffic, which takes much longer, especially in winter. It is absolutely worth it. The entire staff is friendly, funny, smart, talented and efficient. The style of decor and furnishings are warm and inviting. The walls are hung with vintage photographs from Minneapolis past, the curio cabinets are filled with antiques and great books, and leather couches even surround a fireplace in the waiting room. I'd say it feels like home, but I haven't lived in a place so nice--it's more like visiting a spa. I used to dread going to the dentist because other places treat patients like robots on an assembly line. These people treat me like a person, like I am part of the family. The entire experience is pretty phenomenal.

On a Tuesday night at 7p.m. my fiancé comes home in tears because he had such terrible tooth pain. I desperately called around to places that call themselves "emergency dental care." Which were far from that because they couldn't get him in until the next day. I have been going to Larson Dental since I was young and I thought I'd give them a call even though I knew the office would be closed. Sure enough, in the voicemail message it stated if there was an emergency to call Dr. Cory so I did just that and explained our mini crisis. He met us at the office in 20 minutes and checked him out then went over the options. In less than a half hour my fiancé got his tooth extracted and was pain free. I've had two appointments at the Northeast location, both routine exams + cleaning. Larson Dental is clean, comfortable, efficient, and, as far as I can tell, do a good job taking care of my teeth. Notably, my hygienist Penny is very educational on what's going on in my mouth, so I feel better about my dental health when I leave. Overall, I recommend them.
