This is my favorite dental clinic. I’ve seen Melissa as my dental hygienist and she is so friendly and kind and Dr. Sepi is incredibly gentle. I’m usually someone with anxiety, especially around dentistry, but I’ve actually fallen asleep during procedures because both Melissa and Dr. Sepi took such good care of me.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. They look after your teeth with no judgement if your teeth aren't perfect. Dr Sepi always remembers who you are and she is empathic and considerate, as well as being very skilled. When Dr Sepi wasn't available I saw another dentist who was just the same. I would always recommend this practice.

Due to previous bad experiences with dentists and doctors I have AWFUL anxiety about going to see them. Well unfortunately my tooth decided to crack and so I had no choice but to call the dentist and Isles Dental was in network plus could get me in quickly, so I set up the appointment. I was very pleased with how calm and grounded the staff and office are. Everyone was just so chill and I NEEDED that so needless to say they will be my dentist now.

Since I Haven't been to a Dentist since before the Pandemic..I will admit I was a Little Nervous to see a dentist again. But!... I was Dealing with a Loose Tooth I had No choice but to visit and Take Cate of My Problem. As I walked In.. the Staff was Very Friendly which made my Nervousness Disappear. I HATE THE DENTIST - but hey, I know that is probably most people. Heading to the dentist is something I'd put off for far too long. My reasoning for going was that I had felt my tooth break. Yeah, not awesome and my fault. I walked in, and virtually got back to a room immediately. I explained my issue, the hygienist and dentist had a look, we took an x-ray, the dentist gave his thoughts/opinions/solutions/etc., and we got right to work. I required a local anesthetic - not fun - but it was swiftly and accurately placed. Throughout the whole procedure (~ 40 minutes) I felt like I was in a comfortable place, all things considered. Now that I know I am going to need an exam and to get fully evaluated, searching for a dental clinic won't be part of the process.

No lectures or monologues about dental hygiene which I really appreciated. Their online tools make forms and appointment reminders simple. They did the most complete set of X-rays I’ve ever had. The dentist caught something my previous two dentists missed. So I’m very happy with my experience.

Great first visit. Just did a routine cleaning/check-up after not having been to the dentist since pre-covid. Checked my heart rate on my watch directly after the cleaning and it was at 57 bpm which I think summarizes the experience quite well.

If you are like myself and are someone who has a high phobia in handling medical encounters of any kind PLEASE check out this wonderful dental office! The team at Isles Dental made me feel so comfortable from the beginning to the end of my entire experience. I was very nervous going to a new dentist and the first person i spoke to was a very friendly person over the phone named Julie. She eased a lot of my anxiety by answering all my questions. Walking into the office I was met with positive welcoming energy! I had a root canal done by Dr. Alex (he was AMAZING OMG!). He walked me through everything that would happen. Very patient, supportive and transparent! The team is very dedicated to keeping everything clean and safe for both patient and staff. I have had a few root canals and this was the quickest and painless one out of all!

I have had the same dentist for 25 years, so switching to a new dentist was daunting for me. Isles Dental made the switch and experience a positive one. The hygienist Missy was personable and knowledgeable. I did not feel rushed. She took the time to listen to my concerns and offered suggestions on care for my mouth, specific to my situation. Dr. Sepi was also very kind and knowledgeable, also able to offer me suggestions specific to my oral situation. The facility was clean, all staff kind and professional, and the cleaning and exam very thorough and not rushed. My one issue is that they're expensive, but having had the other dentist for so many years and him not being downtown, I probably have a skewed perspective on how much dentist visits should cost. Overall a very good experience. I am happy I chose this office and I'm glad I found a good dentist. I will definitely be back.

In October, I had an incident where one of my front teeth was close to being knocked out. I rushed in the next morning and Dr. Alex was quick to provide immediate care. They were able to save my tooth and provide a plan of care going forward. Each time I’ve been here, the staff has been nice and knowledgeable. We’ve been going to Isles Dental for more than a decade. The hygienists are the most gentle I’ve ever experienced, the environment is friendly and collegial, and I’ve never once had to wait for my scheduled appointment to start (in fact, they’ve gotten me in early more often than not). Furthermore, they’re on top of their game: no issues with paperwork, medical records, scheduling, or billing. If every dental office was like this one, people would complain less about going to the dentist.

Just moved to MN and did some research online for new dentist. My only bias was I wanted an all woman practice. Found this practice and was very impressed after first visit. Easy parking. Nice front office help. Pleasant and clean office with natural light. Hygienist was a pro and very accommodating (I’m a bit of a coward). They had much better technology than what I was used to. I met Dr Sepi afterwords and we reviewed slides and talked about a 5 year plan. I am a very satisfied patient and my husband has signed up as well.

Me and my three daughters have been going to Isles Dental possibly for 12 years. They are the best dental office I have been to. I currently live in St. Paul but have no problem making the journey to their office in Minneapolis. Upon entering the front door of the office, you are welcomed with a wonderful, calming scent of a candle and a very cheerful greeting from Dawn, the Office Administrator. She makes you feel very welcomed and helps calm any anxieties of dental work that maybe needed. When making any of my appointments she has always been very accommodating towards my crazy schedule. Dr. Taghizadeh and Missy have always been very patient and understanding with my daughters during their times of anxiety. If my daughters were not ready for a procedure, Dr. Taghizadeh would calmly sit with them to help them relax but would not move forward with a procedure if they were not ready. My daughters and I consider Dr. Taghizadeh, Dawn and Missy family. We are always eager to get updates on each other and share in all the milestones of our children. Although my eldest daughter will be leaving to college this year she will continue going to Isles Dental. This is the best family dental office. We love their staff.
