I was greeted with a friendly smile when I arrived. Although I had a short wait, my hygienist apologized, acknowledging the value of my time. She explained that my dentist had moved and a new one had joined the practice, then introduced me before he performed the oral cancer screening and exam. He was thorough and made sure to ask if I had any questions or concerns. The cleaning was painless and I got my choice of toothpaste flavor. Overall a wonderful experience!

Started off bad...A woman at front desk tried to embarrass me which had me walking away in tears because of a misunderstanding on her part, while in my car one of the assistants ran after me and caught me in my car. She told me it was ok and that she knew what to do. After my children and myself were seen by the staff and Dr. R.Winter I was glad we stayed. Dr. R.Winter gave a father vibe. You can tell he loves his profession And hygienist was honest and gave suggestions from her heart. Like I said I was glad we stayed. ❤

Very nice and polite would give 5 but I haven't got my work done yet but my concern is the dentist that seen me knew I was in pain I ask him for pain medication for 1 to 3 days until the antibiotics start to work he told me he wasn't gone do it call my physician and ask him to do it I can't believe this guy said that and he is the one seeing me wow how inconsiderate and dental neglect basically he said he would give me powerful ibuprofen which I told him I couldn't take I'm allergic he gave me no alternative and basically said fight through the pain the antibiotics gone work eventually I never want him to see me again I'm coming back to get my work done cause I heard good things about the owner etc so I hope the dentist that does my work to my teeth have some compassion because he doesn't at all thanks...🙏🙏

My visit today at Hampton Dental Associates was as pleasant as all my dental appointments. We all know at times some of us fear going to the dentist. However, at Hampton Dental Associates staff make you feel comfortable, with warm greetings as you walk through the door. I received my first temporary crown from Dr. Ariel. It loosened before the permanent was ready. Dr. Ariel fit me in the same day I informed the office. Dental procedures give me a lot of anxiety. I am terrified of the dentist due to a previous experience years ago.I had to go for a dental emergency and also it’s time to start taking better care of my teeth. This office was great from the time I walked in laughing with the receptionist until my after billing update. The medical assistant was a doll - she offered me water and explained to me step by step what was to come.I saw Ariel the dentist and she was calm and very patient with me and my questions. Before coming to Hampton Dental Associates I had some work done that left my mouth sore for months with fillings that cracked after only a year and terrified to go to the dentist. Today I had 3 very deep fillings done and I have almost NO PAIN. Several hours later and I still feel great. Dr. Rich kept me calm and gave such compassionate care. Hampton Dental is exceptional, from the service they offer to how they treat you from the moment you enter. They're careful, explain everything to you before beginning (costs especially), and are kind, careful and sensitive. It's hard to explain Dr. Rick. In one word, I would probably say perfectionist. He is. He's precise and meticulous, confident and efficient. He's the best at what he does, and he makes sure you receive the very best. The entire staff is so helpful and friendly. It's quite unique. Going to the dentist is uncomfortable, always will be. But they really endeavor to welcome and treat you well. Choosing Hampton Dental 5 years ago changed my life. I need significant work due to an eating disorder I developed in high school and through college. The work they've done, the respect they've shown, the type of people they are, the way they've educated me... they've made my life significantly better and -- as tacky as it may sound -- my future more bright.

I appreciated being fit in rather quickly, I called Wednesday and was scheduled for Thursday at 2:45. I had broken a tooth and was in quite a bit of pain, with that being said, I arrived at about 2:47 after filling out the necessary paperwork I took a seat and proceeded to wait for almost an hour before approaching the desk. The woman at desk was very apologetic and understanding, truly the saving grace of this establishment. Please keep her! Once I got my x-rays done by the tech the doctor came in and after making me aware of how bad off my teeth were ( hence the reason I had to seek treatment) proceeded to ask personal questions about the involvement of my child’s father in her life. If discussing the affordability of dental care these types of questions have no place within a dental office! Being offered the most expensive option first that isn’t covered by insurance, and working backwards instead of informing me of what was to happen to help me in that moment to alleviate my pain in that moment did not sit well with me. Nor did being able to clearly hear insurance conpanies being called to see if benefits were in the clear before patients were able to even be called. After all of this I was told that I may not be able to be seen soon so to get my problematic tooth removed, so I was given a refill of my antibiotics. The doctor I saw may not accept my insurance plan personal so someone else may pull the tooth. I am conflicted as to whether or not I want to return. I do not wish to reestablish myself elsewhere, but I also do not want to be somewhere I do not feel respected or more than just revenue. Not sure if it was just a bad day or they are over worked, but my experience was not the best.

Excellent service and award-winning dentists in the midst of the inner city. That's almost unheard of. My dental hygienist Raya does an exceptional job with my cleaning and she makes every appointment memorable. Hampton dental has an excellent team from the receptionists to Dr Bruce and Dr Rick. Many people complain about poor service at other offices. If that's you, give Hampton Dental a try. I would highly recommend this establishment!

I have a really bad history with dentists. I was forced into an unneeded root canal that my previous dentist screwed up twice, and landed me in the ER one night. My last appointments with them ended with 17 and 15 shots of anesthetic because they had to reverse and then redo their work. Needless to say, I have high anxiety from the experiences with them and searched for another dentist. I reached out to Dr. Rick on their website and they immediately worked with me on my fears, and promised I wouldn't need sedative with them. He was extremely gentle and very aware of my situation and body language at every appointment. It started with just getting laughing gas, and now I don't even need that. I don't feel the shots he gives and I trust him completely. Took two years to get back to that. The staff at Hampton dental are WONDERFUL, and it's like seeing friends when I am there. Always professional while making sure I am comfortable. I am eternally grateful to this office for being patient with me, as I was ready never to step into a dentist's office again. I recommend them to everyone.

I cannot put into words the gratitude I feel to Dr. Richard Winter and his associates at Hampton Dental. I had a very unique situation that I really believed impossible to conquer. First, let me say that I had a consultation with Dr. Rick at the beginning of February, and I misunderstood some things and became overwhelmed and ended up writing a negative review. Dr. Rick himself contacted me by telephone immediately to figure out where things went wrong in our conversation and to rectify the situation. He made it clear that he was not contacting me so I would remove the bad review. He truly cared that I had a bad experience. Let me clarify that this "bad experience" was simply ME misunderstanding some things and leaving without getting the proper clarification. After speaking with Dr. Rick for probably half an hour on the phone, he asked me to come in that day so he could reassess me and so we could talk in person to see if there was a plan of action we could take with my teeth. My situation was unique in that I needed new teeth immediately. I am a Travel RN, and I was leaving for Montana for three months in just a little over two weeks. I had only three teeth left in my bottom jaw that were basically decayed and useless and an upper denture that was over 10 years old and made me feel very insecure about my smile. Dr. Rick and his staff were UNBELIEVABLY helpful and flexible. They squeezed me in to see them at least five times to go through every step necessary to take impressions, make a new set of dentures for both my top and bottom, and convinced a local oral surgeon to squeeze me in as well, so that I could get all of this work done before I left for my assignment in Montana. It was amazing how hard they all worked to get all of this done in under two weeks. Dr. Rick also explained that my first set of upper dentures were not made in a way that really helped my features, and he asked me to trust him in making this new denture with different size and shape of teeth. Three days before I was set to leave for Montana, my teeth were finished and I had surgery! Dr. Rick even squeezed me in for a recheck before I left. It is now almost two months later, and I am completely in love with my new smile, and I get compliments all of the time regarding my beautiful smile. It has made me look younger than I did with my old teeth, and has definitely given me a confidence boost. They are beautiful teeth that fit perfectly! Trusting him was the right thing to do!!! I will be forever grateful to Dr. Rick and his staff, and I am now a loyal patient who will see him for every and any dental needs I have in the future, and of course, I would recommend him and his staff to everyone! The first place I've have encountered where they truly care about you as a person and a patient! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much, Dr. Rick. I truly don't have the words to express it enough!

I had been to several Dentists before I found Dr Richard. I had emailed my situation along with a consultation request. I was surprised that he had responded within an hr, on a weekend no less. From the first appointment I knew I was in good hands. He listened as I explained what happened to my teeth in the last a few years without feeling I was being judged. He also listend about my financial concerns as well. Basically I just wanted them pulled, I couldn't financially save them. He wanted to save them by agreed it was in my best interest to do just that!! He referred me to an Oral Surgeon and we started on our journey. He didn't have much to work with and I knew it wouldn't be easy as nothing is with me. With Dr Richard you would not have known how much time and patience he put into working with me and on my dentures until they work perfect. I was amazed at the end result, they looked like my teeth before all the damage. He took a picture I brought in and that's what he worked off of. Always greeted with a smile from him and his staff. My insurance changed and he wasn't in my plan just after they pulled my teeth. Because of the care and attention he gave to me and his work I stayed with him. It was worth it. We are now discussing implants for the near future. They offer different dental plan options. Even without insurance I would tell you to make an appointment it's worth it. His motto,"it's not finished until everyone is happy"!! Thank you Dr Richard and your staff for giving me back my smile!!

I had an appointment set in October of last year for a very painful cavity and the need for some major dental work. Hampton had great reviews and I needed a new dentist, so I was all ready to go. The day of my appointment, I had to cancel because my dog ruptured two discs in his back, became paralyzed, and needed emergency surgery. Dr. Rick emailed me personally and wished me good luck with my dog; that he was an animal lover and completely understood; and that whenever I was ready and settled, set up another appointment. Four months later, I was finally ready again. He actually remembered the situation with my dog, which I find amazing considering I’m a brand new patient, and proceeded to go through options for fixing the tooth, discussed setting a future plan in motion for the restorative work, and took the time to explain things in great detail. He managed to fit me into his schedule (travel nurse leaving for a new assignment in two weeks so that wasn’t easy to coordinate) and I am set for a procedure next week. Dr. Rick is definitely about patient-centered care, which as a nurse, means the world to me since I’m going to be on the other side of things this time. The front office staff is great. I highly recommend them and will do a follow-up review after my [eek!] big ol’ root canal next week. (Oh, and for the fellow animal lovers who may have read this, my doggie is fine and walking again, albeit a little gimpy, but that only makes him cuter. 😉)

Trying to stay local, I went to my nearby Aspen Dental for a consultation and walked out of there with an astronomical quote and no hope in sight for my pain.
