Dr Costello is a brilliant dentist and puts patient needs and concerns at the forefront. He is great at the “scary” procedures such as crowns, root canals, and extractions. His staff is excellent, and a reflection of him, they provide great service when doing cleanings as well and are very diligent about their tasks! Don’t be afraid to go to the dentist - you’ll feel much better when you do.

This visit was different as I had to go to the downtown location. I was only hesitant because of location. It was easy to find and the directions I was given were so detailed. I located the office with no problem. This visit was no different than any other......every visit to the dentist is excellent! The staff is the best and the office is always so clean with all the newest equipment. Dr. Costello really cares about his patients and staff. You can tell this from the moment you walk in. Best dentist around. I highly recommend them to everyone I know.

I’ve been going to the downtown dental group for 13 years. Since my first day, I felt welcomed and always have educated techs. At first, I was hesitant to go, because before I was there in 2009 I haven’t been to the dentist for a few years. Since then I actually love to go to the dentist. It may be rare, but I do like to go there. Everyone there is nice, educated and know their stuff. If you want a great Dentist, Dr. Costello is your one stop dentist. Check him and his team out. I was treated cordially. The work done by the dentist was, from what I can tell, I’m not a dentist, excellent. She (the dentist) cleaned my teeth perfectly. I’ll be back for some repair work that needs to be done after another dentist, not included in the network of dentists that my insurance provides, did some intentional damage. It was my mistake to trust in people that are not part of my dental insurance coverage. Unfortunately, that can happen. Live and learn..

I’m a new patient but on my second visit Gail greeted me as though I had been going there for twenty years. How pleasant. Dr. Costello is most informative and proficient. Impressive. Felt nothing, no pain, no jolts on my extensive procedures. When the numbing agent wore off, no pain and no problems. Great job. Kate and Hanna are friendly, caring, informative and most altruistic. The charges seem fair enough but there is no cash or senior discount. There is a $50 referral fee paid so if you go there after reading this review please mention my name. That’s all I’ve got going to pay my procedure costs down. Seriously though I am most pleased with this practice in all areas. Second Review: This review comes from the worlds worst patient. I’d rather smash my thumb with a huge hammer instead of going for a dental visit, if I’d have a choice. I know it’s psychosomatic but I can’t help it. EVERYONE at Grant Park Dental are friendly, efficient, professional and most altruistic. Great people. I pay my bills, try to be friendly and cordial but ~ I wouldn’t want me as a patient. Thanks everyone, not your fault. Can’t wait to be done with all procedures.

For those too lazy to read the entire review: Great place. Go there. For everyone else: It's been years since my last dental visit, obviously before this one. I had extreme anxiety regarding any dental procedure. That was short lived once I consulted with Dr. Costello. Not only did he inform me of the procedure, costs, and pros & cons. He alleviated my anxiety. The overall atmosphere was calming; the staff were all very friendly, informative, and accommodating. I had the option of watching tv and listening to it via supplied headphones to help stay comfortable. One of my bigger concerns was the shot... you know, the idea of that huge syringe shimmering under flickering fluorescent lighting, held by the doctor with the sinister Dr. Kevorkian grin. Well THAT wasn't THIS. In fact, true to Dr. Costello's word, I really didn't feel much of anything. I will definitely go back for any future procedures.

From the minute you walk in the door you are greeted by a friendly receptionist, who knows your name and family history, I have had the same hygenist for the last 12 years who does and exceptional job and always concerned about patient comfort and scolds me about my lack of floassing in a fun way. Dr. Costello then does and complete exam, in and out in under an hour and they are always on time. I have had several emergency procedures over the years and the team has always been very accommodating. They are not part of a large chain, at Grant Park Dental you get the personal service and care you always have hoped for.
