Had a first time visit today. It was one of the most thorough exams I have ever had. They did exams that were new to me, but really helped me understand my dental situation and options. Mary and Brittney were wonderful, took excellent care of me and were all around delightful to be around. Same for Deborah at the front desk (she also helped me setup my appointment.) Very glad I found them as my new dentist.

My two children and I had our first visit today, and my expectations were beyond exceeded! I kids are 8 years old and 3 years old, and all of the staff were amazing with us! Everyone was kind, knowledgeable, honest, professional, etc. They also did a great job scheduling us together and managing time while supporting our individual needs. I have been to this dentist a few times. Not having insurance I was worried about payment. They have all kinds of payment options as well as deals. Every single time I've been to the office I have been greeted. And every person I have met has said hello and then ultra friendly. They genuinely care about their patients. New Hampshire Family Dentistry is so amazing I can't say enough good things about them! I'm awful with remembering names, I'm sorry, but everyone I dealt with was fantastic! I was in serious pain and they were able to get me in the next day. Their office is quiet and comfortable with incredibly friendly office staff. The part that really blew me away was how the staff member that brought me to the back stayed with me the whole time and helped me understand the treatment plan and even helped with the next appointment scheduling - she didn't leave my side until I was ready to leave, I thought it was the best thing ever! I've been really nervous about going to the dentist for many years due to some truly horrible experiences but this staff really listened and wanted to help and put me at ease. I've finally found a dentist's office I can trust and even look forward to going to again! Thank you for being awesome! Edit: After 2 more visits, I have to say how truly impressed I am with this practice! I'm starting to remember names, Mary took my X-rays and pictures and was such a genuinely nice person that was easy to talk to - I really enjoyed the experience! I was dreading the next visit for a cleaning since I haven't had one in many years and I have sensitive teeth, but Taylor was so gentle with me and did an amazing job, my teeth didn't hurt at all and they're so sparkly! Lindsey and Deborah at the desk are super friendly and efficient! Dr. Mandera is a truly gifted dentist who is very caring and wants you to be healthy and happy! Thank you to the whole team!

I usually don’t write reviews but I feel compelled to share my experience. First, I am terrified of going to the dentist and have had some bad experiences in the past. I’ve been searching for over a year for a new dentist and then I found New Hampshire Family Dentistry. I selected them based on the reviews with words like kind and gentle. I was up the night before my first appointment considering canceling; my fears getting the best of me. But I kept thinking maybe this dental practice will be different than the others and fingers crossed this will be my forever dental home. I was greeted by Deborah a very lovely and pleasant woman. I was then escorted in by Mary. Mary asked me some questions and really took the time to listen to me, my concerns, my fears (through my tears) and never once made me feel I was an abnormality due to my fears of going to a dentist or needles. It was like a warm hug to be accepted and heard for once. I was normal in her eyes. Mary stayed with me during my initial visit which lasted over and hour. Not once did I feel rushed by anyone in this office. I then met with Taylor the dental hygienist. Mary had told her that I have sensitive gums and how much measuring my gums had hurt me in past visits to other dentists. Taylor totally understood and said that’s common. She didn’t belittle me like at my last dentist; she heard me and understood me. This is feeling more like my forever dental practice with every minute. I’m smiling and not crying now. Taylor gave me a mouth rinse that acts like a Novocain so when she measured my gums it wouldn’t hurt. I still felt it but it wasn’t painful. And Taylor kept asking me how I was doing; my comfort was top priority the whole time I was in that chair. Every step of the way was explained to me in great detail. I met with the dentist Dr. Praveen Mandera who agreed with Taylor’s plan of action on my treatment. The Dentist was also very pleasant and took the time to explain the next steps for my dental care. I walked into that office terrified, I walked out smiling and couldn’t wait to share my experience with my family and friends. In summary, I’m confident that I’ve found my forever dentist.

I have been going to NH Family Dentistry for a couple of years. Prior to that I hadn’t been to a dentist for over 20 years because of a bad experience. NH Family Dentistry makes me regret not going sooner. They are AWESOME! No more fear of the dentist. I actually look forward to getting my cleanings done. Update 4/21/2021 Tracey cleaned my teeth again. She always take that extra time to make them look great. I love how my teeth feel when I leave. Thanks Tracey! Update 11/16/2021 Another painless dental appointment. Taylor did a great job. Thank you! Update 3/2023 Dr Ru did my cleaning today. Another good experience. Cant say enough good things about them.

I cannot say enough about this dental practice. I have coming here for years and I most recently brought my 3 year old for the first time. They instantly made him feel comfortable and even "experimented" with cleaning his teeth in another room while I was getting my teeth cleaned. He did absolutely fantastic because of how comfortable Brittany made him feel. He went through the whole cleaning process without me even being in the room. On the way home he told me "when I get older, I want to work at the dentist!" LOL ALL the staff here always make you feel like they've known you for years and treat you like family no matter if you are a new patient or an existing patient. Keep up the good work!!

Wow! What an amazing experience my family had at this office. The entire staff were welcoming and friendly. They even played with my toddler while my visit got started. -Update- 10.31.2021 I have continued to make all my appoint here and everyone has been great. Staff is super friendly and are super accommodating when work causes a conflict with my appointments. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for a dental office or looking for a great and friendly place. -end update- Had a broken tooth and needed to schedule an emergency dental appointment. The ladies here where really great on the phone and in person. was able to get an appointment for the same day I called. While I wasn't able to get the tooth removed the same day. They gave me a legit reason why both due to no openings and to get some medication into my system. Originally the appointment was for a week away but I mentioned if possible to call me if anyone canceled. Lucked out and was able to get the tooth removed the next day. Everyone was great the next day and they kept me calm when needed to "jam" a needle into my month. Overall great experience and its has made me to continue using, New Hampshire Family Dentistry as my new Dental place.

I have avoided dentist offices for the last several years, after repeated negative experiences, and I can tell you I had zero jitters upon entering their door as it's a very warm and welcoming place. Great place. From the assistants to the doctors this team really improved my smile and confidence. I had to have a few different procedures culminating in a replacement bridge, new implant and 2 replacement crowns to correct some major damage from reabsorption. The work they did was fantastic and even the referrals worked out well for me.

Hey I'm old and this the best dentist I've ever had. The employees all follow the very friendly, clean, caring environment. This would be a great place to bring kids. The treatments are all explained clearly. Dr. Mandera is superb and very gentle. I believe him to be very well versed in all the available options and he will offer cost effective options when available compared to some other dentists. The cost is average. Hope that helps.

I needed a unscheduled dental appointment for a chipped front tooth. I called New Hampshire family dentistry early today and got an appointment within 2 hours. Dr Vij and her assistant (sorry I forgot your name) were amazing. A dynamic dual for sure. Very friendly, explained everything in advance, exceptionally professional and the results were perfect. It looked like nothing had ever happened to my tooth. Five stars plus. Also Lauri and Lindsay of the front office did not disappoint because they are alway top notch. And of course , Ellie who never fails to find me and ask how I am doing. I am a very satisfied client.

First off, let me say that I NEVER do reviews but I truly think this place deserves one. I hadn’t gone to the dentist in a long time, longer than I’d like to admit. So when I came in I was very nervous. The staff immediately put my mind at ease and made me feel so comfortable. They went over a plan of action for me to get my teeth and gums back to good health, explained it to me and made it very easy. They made my 2 appointments the same day so I could do it all at once which works for my busy life. When I went in to my following appointment I was treated the same as the first day, everyone was so kind and calm, explaining everything that was happening and it was so simple. I’m thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, kindness, and thoroughness with everything. I’m actually switching my family over to this dentistry now!

I was really excited going here based off the reviews but I left not very satisfied. I thought I had scheduled a new patient appointment/cleaning and to address the concern with my wisdom teeth. I was surprised when I was sat down and we went right into X-rays. May have been just a miscommunication so I’m not too upset about it. The tech fiddled with the equipment to get it working properly uncomfortably close to my face. X-rays we’re done and she immediately said she needed to get the doctor. Doctor came in and between the 2 of them I felt like I wasn’t being fully listened to due to having to repeat myself multiple times and correct them. Because of some concerns we opted for a referral to an oral surgeon (not complaining at all. Actually really thankful for the referral). All in all not the worst experience I’ve had at a dentist but am definitely skeptical about going back.

My 5yo is scared of dentists, mainly the bright lights and having someone looking at her teeth.. we actually missed appointments with different dentists in the recent past. I’ve gone to this office for a couple of years now and they are good to me so I thought to bring her here. Fantastic, how Taylor worked with my daughter, was way more patient then other pediatric dental hygienists we’ve seen (visit took 30 minutes just to get my daughter to calm down and agree to the inspection) and somehow cracked the code of a scared child in a dentists office. We love these folks!

As a new patient, this was by far the best experience I’ve had from any doctors office. The front desk lady (didn’t catch her name) was so sweet from the moment I called her to get into the office and we were face to face and even when I was leaving. My nurse, Mary, was 10/10! You can tell she takes pride in building rapport with patients and making them comfortable. Don’t forget my can of sun when you visit Florida! and Doctor Mandera, although our meeting was short. He was very informative and sure to ask if I had any questions, comments or concerns. I did not, I knew what I came in for and he came in and ‘understood the assignment’ as the young ones say. Lol

Very professional and thorough. I was worried because I do not have insurance that that was gonna be a problem. But boy was I wrong. Just had my second visit to NH Family Dentistry, which is close to the airport in Manchester. So far I've had a comprehensive dental exam with x-rays and two cleanings. My dentist and both hygienists were excellent. The office staff is amazing too... very friendly and efficient. Communication has been great, and the office has lots of safety protocols in place. So happy to have found a great dental practice close to where I live.

I'm greeted with a smile and a "How are you?!" every time I walk in, no matter what day or time it is. My appointments have been on time, every time! Andrea and Kelsey did a ridiculously great job scaling my teeth as I haven't been to a dentist in way too long. Now my teeth are white and feel so smooth and clean, better than I think they ever had been and I still have some more work to go. I love the atmosphere whenever I walk into the office I am geared by friendly faces that welcome me. The staff seems to make it not only their goal but their priority to provide great service in a relaxing non stressful environment. I am one of those annoying people that dislikes going to the dentist I have never had a positive experience. Due to an upcoming pending surgery I needed to go. Referred by a friend I made the call. Debra answered the phone and immediately put me at ease. She got me in the next day so I would not have to dwell on an appointment for a long time. Once there I was greeted by a masked smiling face, Debra. I only waited for a few minutes where a very bubbly, friendly and calming assistant Katie. She talked and shared stories of things we had in common and was very knowledgeable about what she was doing. Before I knew it the doctor was sitting next to me going over treatment. No judgement from any of them. Dr. Mandera was very professional and explained everything so that I could understand. Even leaving and stopping at the desk on the way out for insurance and rescheduling was a breeze. I would highly recommend this practice if you are unhappy with your dentist or if you are looking for your forever Denistry. Just one more if not the most important they are very COVID safe. They take all the precautions and then some.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am for Everyone at NH Family Dentistry. Over the Years I have had a few horrible experiences at other dental offices that not only cost me a large amount of money but ended up causing tooth loss and issues with my gums. With these bad experiences came serious anxiety just thinking about walking into another dental office. As I got older the work that was done previously started to make my front gums recede. At the time I was only 25 years old and was so embarrassed to smile with my mouth open. My father who lives in VT told me to contact a man he did boat work for by the name of Dr. Sparks who owned a dental practice in Manchester. They were so nice over the phone and I explained to them my situation and asked if there was anything they could do to help me. I was so nervous about going in but from the moment I got there I felt like everyone there was on my team and really cared about helping me. It was a process but NH Family Dentistry gave me my smile back and I will be forever grateful for that. Its been about 5 years since then and about 2 weeks ago I came down with a horrible toothache. I was nervous since Dr Sparks had left the practice and there was a new dentist there but even after 5 years went by the moment I called one of the girls remembered exactly who I was and they got me in right away. I know how silly it must seem but just getting to the dentist for me without having a complete meltdown is hard and Misty and Mary, have been the only reason I have been able to get through my visits and (occasional crying) Dr. Praveen Mandera did excellent work and I'm finally on the road to recovery. Nobody likes going to the dentist but this office I can honestly say has to be one of the best around and its because of how much they care about people. Thanks again to everyone in the office for everything they have done for me!

Friendly staff, excellent at what they do. I scheduled an appointment to look at a crown that I had damaged. Dr Vij advised me that the crown should be replaced but it could be repaired with no guarantees. She explained both choices carefully but could not guarantee a repair which I totally understood. I chose the repair because of my insurance. So far it’s working.

Great place, however not the best if you have a spontaneous workload. Fees are involved for giving less than 48 hour notice to appointments and you become barred from rescheduling lest you pay. Fees can reach up to $100 per missed appointment, or failing to notify within the 48 hour window. Would of loved to stay, but their practices unfortunately won't fit for everyone and caused me to go to a different dentist.

I haven't had painful cleanings or cut up gums that bleed and ache. Cleanings are so relaxing, I often fall asleep! I've never had to wait more than 5 min.in the waiting area. Appointments are quick and the cost is extremely reasonable. I don't cringe at my bill. Last week I had my first cavity filled since I was 10 years old. Honestly, I was a little nervous. I've recently moved to Manchester with my dad and needed to see a dentist. My dad suggested I see Dr. Mandera. I'm so glad I did. I have always been very nervous when going to the dentist which has kept me away for many years. I am happy to say that I no longer have the anxiety I have dealt with for such a long time. I started with a cleaning with Andrea and she was great, she made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. After my cleaning Dr. Mandera came in to do an examination and found that I needed to have a tooth taken out, this made me a bit nervous. I was fortunate enough to be able to be seen by Dr. Mandera that same day. While waiting for what I thought was the worst part, the needle, the assistant was very nice and talked me through the whole procedure and what to expect. Then Dr. Mandera came in to get me numb, as I nervously waited for the panic attack, i was pleasantly surprised when the assistant gently calmed me down by gently touching my shoulder through the numbing process, encouraging me to breath and letting me know the worst was almost over. Very sweet! The procedure went better than I ever expected! Painless! Thank you Everyone at NH Family Dentistry! I strongly recommend you pay them a visit!

I was not informed of this when the appointment was scheduled... I feel as though I should have been... I would have scheduled the appointment for January instead of December... Be aware of this... Not happy...family dentistry informed me today (December 18) that they arranged with the insurance company to agree to pay approximately $350 of my previous bill. (refund to me). EXCELLENT dentist’s office and staff! We identified NH Family Dentistry as an ‘approved provider in our proximity’ as we always have, i assume as many do by simply by checking with our insurance co. Lets face it: Dentist visits are a grudge visit as in ‘whatever, i hate it but lets get through it’. Weve also never been ‘loyal to’ an office since they’re all pretty much the same :-/ Not the case here! My wife and I are in our 30’s and 40’s, our girls are now 9 and 11. Weve been coming to NHFD for over 2 years now and love them. Even when our dental plan changed and they are ‘out of network and covered at 80% vs 100% prior’, we still come here. Front desk, Hygenists and Dr.s are all SUPER friendly, very good at their job and make you feel SUPER comfortable. HIGHLY recommend, and so long as we live in readonable distance we’ll be coming to NH Family Dentistry
