This office staff and Dr were amazing. I had a broken tooth no appt. They not only worked me in but went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable during the entire process. Maggie Dr Johnston and the office manager kept me calm and were able to finally extract the tooth so I can start healing. Thank you all so much for working me in. You have a new patient for all my dental needs.

Friendly staff clean environment. I was referred by a co-worker. I have insurance but I had a lot of work that had to be done. They worked out a fantastic payment plan 👏 😀 and did the work. Myself & my children have gone here for years. I absolutely love the staff and they are so professional from the young lady at the front desk, Dental hygienists and Dr. LaRhonda Apata is my all time FAVORITE DENTIST EVER!! She is a straight shooter just like I prefer and she's NOT trying to Hussle you out of more money for procedures but truly care about your overall dental care. I HIGHLY recommended this location

I visited the dental office today and Ms. Liz was awesome as always. Today I was seen by a new doctor and dental assistant. They were both great! Ms. Cindy made me feel very comfortable (I typically hate dental visits), she informed me of everything that would happen on my visit and told me everything that was happening along the way. Dr. Kuhn was wonderful as well, he informed me of the many options I had and he didn’t pressure me to choose. However, I did not like the extended time you have to wait for an appointment and other minor issues. But, I highly recommend Dr.Smith he is knowledgeable and has a passion for his profession.

Today was my first time visiting Monarch Dental. I had an emergency dental accident and was able to get an appointment early the next morning. Liz worked with my insurance company to work through an issue I had. The office was extremely clean and everyone was really nice. The Dentist explained everything in detail and patiently answered all of my questions. They even scheduled my services the same day, which was great so I won't have to take more time off from work. I'm heading back to the office for my rc now. Let's see how thus goes!

I was in the search to find a good dentist and after asking around Monarch Dental was recommended to me. I gave it a shot and boy was I pleased. The staff treated me with the upmost respect. Dr. Tyler Smith was one of the most knowledgeable and efficient doctors I have ever seen. I had a question pertaining to my appointment and he called me back that same day. This is rare and it was obvious that he makes his patients his top priority. I can't say enough about this doctor and his staff. Give it a try you will not be disappointed!

I had terrible tooth pain for a week when I made my appointment at Monarch. They took care of me right away and Dr. Beil, along with the rest of the girls in the office, were incredibly helpful and comforting. I don’t have insurance, so I was able to set up my bill on an affordable payment plan. It’s been 24 hours now and I feel 100% better! That tooth will never be able to bother me again! Wonderful staff and will do their best to see you in an emergency or just for a cleaning. Have used the Ft. Smith, Benton, and Little Rock offices. Followed Dr. Smith to Little Rock, because he is a wonderful dentist and takes care to make sure everything he does is perfect regarding crowns, etc....Cleanings have always been great and Cindy did a wonderful job the other day. I've been planning cosmetic dentistry for a few years with Dr. Smith and the office personnel are amazing in refiguring the cost with my insurance and out of pocket costs. I'd give them 6 stars 😍

Kinda embarrassed to say, but I haven't been to the dentist in a while. The last time was when I had a root canal done in my latter part of high school. I apparently had a temporary silver crown put on, in which I wore for years. Coming to Monarch dental was a great choice for my first time back in a while. They are so friendly from when you walk into the door till your done. Dr. Smith is so awesome and down to earth! Thanks for my new tooth colored crown and everything else being done! Place was great and the dentest and dental assistants were super friendly and great at their jobs. I had a toothache for about 3 months and paid $29 to get an exam. They found out it was a wisdom tooth that hadn't been taken out and had a huge cavity in it. They extracted it the same day for a very good price and the whole process took maybe 30 minutes. The actual surgery only took maybe 2 minutes. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

I have gone to Monarch for years and I would highly recommend them. Recently I had to get a root canal and when the crown didn't fit quite right, they remade the impression and got it fixed. Dr. Smith always takes his time and is very thorough, very good at what he does. The office staff are all great. And they help with financing and they take discount cards, both of which made it possible to get my teeth fixed.

Dr. Smith and the office staff at Monarch Dental on Shackleford Road in Little Rock are totally awesome! Their receptionists are professional and will work with you on appointments. The dental assistants are personable and patient and Dr. Smith does great work. I had a temporary crown for an entire month that did not crack and my permanent crown feels just like a natural tooth! Dr Richard Tyler Smith was very kind and empathetic. He knew exactly what would be the most uncomfortable and took special care to make sure it was very tolerable. I had 3 extractions at the same time and was unaware any of them had been removed when he had finished. Of course there was pain afterwards but he wrote prescriptions for that. Everyone at the Markham location showed genuine concern and kindness. I highly recommend Dr Smith and his staff.

I had received a text from Monarch Dental confirming my appointment at 10:40. However, when I arrived, they had me down at 10 am. MD apologized for the confusion and saw me anyway. I appreciate not only that, but they are the gentlest staff (if that's even a word...if not, I just created one) who has ever worked on my mouth!!! That means more than they know!

Update: I received a call from them this afternoon to come into the office on tomorrow morning. Doctor Smith apologize about everything and fixed the problem. Again he has won me over with his character and his knowledge. I will recommend him for anyone. The pain is normal because of how hard it was to get my tooth out. Prior: The facility was clean and the workers were pleasant. Dr. Smith was very knowledgeable and sweet. But....... I got my tooth extracted on Friday morning. Here it is Tuesday and I have been in the worse pain than I was on Friday before I got my tooth pulled. I have been calling annoyingly all yesterday and today to find out that I am suppose to be in pain. Ummm no I am not, this is not my first time getting my tooth pulled. I told them I believe I have a dry socket and they say I don't without even looking at me. Then I can't get an appointment and when I advise her I will come sit till I am seen she states that is fine. Like really. I be better off going to the er than coming back to you all. I was going to make this my primary dentist so I can get all my work done so I could get braces but it's not worth the issues. I am no longer recommending the office. I also feel as if they are treating me poorly because I have Medicaid but unfortunately I just had a baby and I am not working right now.

I woke up with a toothache from hell on my birthday. This is something I’m too familiar with. I called my denist’s office and noted they answered the phone differently than before and learned my dentist had move to TN. They had no open slots to offer. I didn’t know where to turn, but I remembered a few friends had highly recommended Monarch Dental in Little Rock before. I called and told them what was up and got an appointment immediately. I was very pleased with every aspect of my experience. Everyone was friendly and it was evident they not only enjoyed their job, but were confident and efficient while performing their duties. Now comes the good part. God watches over me very closely and knows that dentists scare the ever loving poop out of me because I’m only 62 years old and I had prayed earlier for the best dentist in every aspect to walk in the room they put me in. Well let me tell you! The younger Dr. Smith walked into the room, introduced himself and within one minute, I was totally calm. He explained everything in detail clearly and concisely. He guided me through a decision process I had to make. When it was time for my procedure to begin, I felt totally calm, confident in his abilities, and was ready for my pain to go far far away. (*I suffer from anxiety and panic disorders.) This was to be my 9th extraction and other dentists had major problems with my molars in the past because the said I had jaw bone of steel. I could keep on and on, but my tooth was in his hand in <8 minutes where the others had taken up to one hour. I thought he was kidding me when he said. Good job Jon. We’re done. He possesses a skill like none other to give the Lidocaine injections. I felt a very slight sting on the first one and nothing on the others. I experienced NO PAIN during the extraction process! Just a little pressure. That’s a biggy folks! I will recommend young Dr. Smith to any and everyone for now on. I have a new dentist for the rest of life my friends. Try him. You’ll like em! Thanks Dr. Smith. You’re the greatest!

I cannot say enough about my dentist! As a nurse, I spend so much of my time taking care of others and neglected my own dental health. By the time I got to Dr. Tyler Smith, not only had I lost my smile (because it looked so bad) but I was in need of MAJOR dental work (root canal, extractions, bridge). When Dr. Smith said, "let's get you back to smiling again" I almost cried! Nurses are good at encouraging our patients to trust that they'll be taken care of...but believe me when I say, I was afraid and had zero interest in pain. The Monarch team met and EXCEEDED my expectations of receiving good care...and it helps that I'm on my way to having a great smile again!

Dr. Tyler Smith is Great!! Dr. Smith was doing a root canal & a Crown but he couldn't find one nerve, so now I have to see Dr. James Penney III. I would give them 5 stars but they failed to keep my boyfriend informed of my progress. It is very important for them to do that because I was under nos & he couldn't find a nerve. Someone should have informed him of what was going on. Dr. Smith & his assistant kept me informed of everything they were doing. But not one person kept my boyfriend, Thomas informed of what was going on! I'm very disappointed in them for this! I can promise you all that will not happen again! Sadly, my appt with Dr. Penney isn't until Feb 15th!?! I can only hope I don't have to wait that long. 🤔
