In under an hour Dr. Mangan had measured and color matched and fabricated a perfect replacement tooth for my child. Can’t say enough great things about this office! Dr. Mangan is great at what he does. He did my crown and I haven’t had any problems with it. He has a program where he makes your permanent crown right then and you leave with it on! No temporary crown and having to go back for the permanent later. Ive been seeing him for a few years now and haven’t been disappointed! The office staff are all so friendly and caring. I missed an appointment and they followed up with me to get me rescheduled, which they didn’t have to do. They went out of their way to make sure I could get taken care of!

I was notified by the Mangan Dental Group a week before my appointment, the day before and the day of. Given instructions by email and text on the day of the appointment was very easy to understand due to the fact we are still dealing with Covid 19 precautions. The staff is very friendly and my hygienist, Tabitha, is very professional and there was no delay for my appointment. Did I mention that Tabitha is very good in cleaning and explains every thing she does while she is working. Dr Mangan is very friendly and checks for any issues that may effect your health that could be addressed to head off future problems. My son and I both have a severe fear of dental visits from numerous horrible experiences. Dr. Mangan is amazing. We no longer dread going. Not only is he patient and understanding, he also has a great bed side manner. He has given me and my son shots in places like under the nose and the roof of the mouth and neither one of us has ever felt the shots. He's an amazing dentist and we will never use anyone else. I chipped my tooth the other day and Steve was able to work me in no time and repaired my tooth. Even though his schedule was completely booked for over a month and he was in Savannah for a wedding when I called to make an appointment , he was able to work me in in less than two days. After scheduling an appointment with my regular dentist for a crown on a broken tooth, I got the call that he was out of commission for a few months due to an emergency surgery. I called around to try to get in somewhere, and a co-worker recommended Dr. Mangan. They were able to get me in quickly for the consultation, but I couldn’t get on the schedule for the crown for another 4 weeks. It was worth the wait. In and out of the office in about 2 hours, with a shiny new crown Dr. Mangan designed and created while ai lounged in the chair. Other than the long wait, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I am not Dr’ Mangan’s regular patient, but everyone in his office treated me as if I were. Great dentist, and professional and friendly staff! Highly recommend!

I have some real anxiety when it comes to the dentist, but with Mangan Dental I never felt that. It was like I was going home each visit to the office. Everyone in the clinic is so nice and welcoming, they really made me feel like family. I could get in quickly if I was having an issue. I never felt like just a patient. Before I came to Mangan Dental I hadn’t been to the dentist in over a year. I was very self-conscious about cavities that I might have and honestly didn’t want to face the reality. From the minute I walked in the door the staff was warm and welcoming. My dental hygienist Robin put my anxiety at ease when she assured me that “I only had a few cavaties and my teeth were far from the worst she had ever seen.” She was so kind and personable. I also mentioned I was self conscious about my teeth not being as white as they once were and she suggested a whitening tray regime. I was able to see results within a week. Dr. Mangan was very personable and had me laughing throughout the examination. I never miss an appointment now and I can honestly say That Robin continues to put me at ease and when I leave I feel like I’ve just had a visit with an old friend. Thank you Mangan Dental for helping me get over my fear of the dentist and for giving me my self confidence back. :)

Okay, it's a little odd to rate my root canal experience five stars. It wasn't really fun at all. But if anyone can make it fun it would be the good folks at Mangan Dental Group. I showed up a few days ago on short notice with a toothache. Dr. Mangan worked me right in and expertly diagnosed my problem. And today he fixed it with the help of his capable assistant Ashley Johnson. I have never built a relationship with a dentist because I would always come away from the experience with a very soar mouth and a very long scolding from the dentist for "not flossing enough" and "not keeping up with my regular cleanings". Mangan Dental was the polar opposite experience. Upon my first visit to Dr. Mangan, I had a really sweet and efficient hygienist. I was also very surprised to actually meet the dentist. My past experiences only dealt with the hygienist, and I only interacted with the dentist if there was a "problem" (cavity/filling, etc.). But, Dr. Mangan spent time talking with me about my teeth, and just getting to know me in general. The hygienist was thoughtful of the fact that I have sensitive teeth and TMJ pain, so I can't hold my mouth open too long. I was not soar AT ALL!!! I have returned numerous times to remove all of the ugly silver filling for pretty ones that you can't see. Dr. Mangan is super nice and funny; I have never felt uncomfortable there. The girls in the front are just as helpful and good-natured as the rest of the staff. I actually look forward to going back for my cleanings because I feel as if I have made friends with everyone in the office!! Dr. Mangan and all of his staff are sweet, professional, friendly AND they do fantastic work! He even fixed a chip on one of my front teeth and matched it perfectly. It looks perfect and natural!!!

I've been coming to Mangan Dental since the spring of 2013. I had a my bottom wisdom teeth taken out during that summer. This was an experience I was hoping to avoid but one that became necessary with increased headaches and pain. I opted to use the sedation medication to put my mind at ease during the procedure (They also had a great special on the medication). The procedure went amazingly and I was back to myself within a day. At the follow up Dr. Mangan noted the procedure was done so well that it didn't even look like I had wisdom teeth. It's been a year and I've not had any issues. The staff and the hygienists are always helpful and friendly and I never have to wait forever when coming in for an appt.

The year was 1999. My teeth needed attention. My young family needed a dentist. I had always known about the excellent personal service that Dr. Steve Mangan provided as a dentist. We gave him a try. And now we have the whitest, straightest (I did Invisalign at age 40) and cleanest teeth! Dr. Mangan's staff has attended to dental emergencies; Dr. Mangan removed the wisdom teeth from my teenagers' mouths, and it has all been done in a gentle and professional manner. I just switched to Mangan due to rude office staff with my old dentist. Seriously, the sweetest people!! Both ladies up front greeted me as soon as I walked in and were so helpful and kind! My hygienist, Robyn, was SO SO sweet and did such a great job! Couldn't be more pleased with the switch!

Thia was my first visit and left me with a positive impression. Robin was both professional and personable. The practice uses some new technological wrinkles I hadn't seen before. The niftiest, if grossest, was a little camera that shows the plaque around your teeth. Its a good motivator for brushing and flossing. I wonder why I haven't seen other dentists use it. Pain control, particularly with my history, is an issue. We didn't get into any of those procedures this time. Based on the pictures though, I'll have a chance to test these in the near future.

I really enjoyed my visit with everyone at Dr. Mangan's office. I have been told by many dentists since I was a teenager that I needed to have my wisdom teeth pulled. I put it off as long as possible, but after getting a cavity in the lower two, it was time to take care of it. My regular dentist referred me to another place that couldn't even see me for a consultation for another month. I did some research of my own and came across these guys. I called on a Thursday afternoon, and had an appointment made for the following Monday. After my consultation, I was scheduled to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed the next day. I opted for just a local anesthetic and good ole gas. I will say, I woke up this morning feeling pretty nervous and unsure of what to expect. But what I really loved about Dr. Mangan and his staff is how informative they were throughout the entire process. I never felt out of control or like I didn't know what was happening. They made sure that I was completely numb, and comfortable and removed all the teeth in a matter of minutes. I was shocked at how little I felt, and was home binge watching Netflix before long. :-D In my experience, it's rare to find a dentist who is willing to take the time to sit and talk with you about different options, what to expect, etc. Most are in and out as quick as possible and I end up leaving with more questions than I came with. This was not the case here. From Kim at the front desk, to Amanda, and Dr. Mangan, everyone was just so nice. I have a feeling I'll be seeing them again for my regular cleanings, as well as to get some other work done that I've been wanting for a while now. My experience on April 20th was a big surprise. There was a lot of work to be done in my mouth, and I wasn't sure how much of it would get done in this appointment, but I knew that it might include one, or even two crowns. So I anticipated spending a lot of time in the chair with my mouth stretched around a metal mold full of cold, pink goop--taking impressions. Then would follow a week or two of trying not to knock off and swallow the temporary crowns that protected the build-up while we waited for the lab to send the permanent crowns. But suprise! The new technology in the Mangan clinic had me walking out of the office after two hours with two permanent crowns in place, digitally produced wonders that fit perfectly in every respect. Great Work! Truly a five star experience.

They took pictures of the tooth every step of the process so I could see exactly what was going on.
