I had multiple fillings and wisdom teeth removed last year and they looked after me amazingly. Kathy, the hygienist is wonderful! She's so personable, thorough and the nicest of people! I’ve never been a big fan of going to the dentist office because most doctors are cold and unfriendly. This dentist office has restored my faith in the dentist. The whole staff is extremely nice and very helpful. Dr. Julian is the best dentist I’ve ever seen. He has taken great care of me and all the work I have needed done. He remembers small details that I’ve mentioned in passing and it has made my experience so much better. I would highly recommend coming here to anyone, especially if you have had a bad experience in a different dentist office.

Dr. Lex is a dentist who makes getting dental work done very calming. The dental assistants are super kind, Mike is good at making you feel comfortable as a patient. Tia is funny and makes signing papers a fun time. Sunshine seems like she knows what she’s doing and is also a good assistant. Dr. Abalos talking through treatments really helps me understand what type of work I’m getting done and why. Thanks to her, I now understand the importance of getting my teeth back into great shape.

I’ve never been to a dentists office that I could honestly rate at 5 stars, until I came to Sunbrite. The office staff is always there to accommodate scheduling needs. Kathy, the hygienist, is gentle yet effective and great at teaching good oral hygiene techniques. The doctors— Dr. Ablos and Dr. Calvo are absolutely wonderful and their team of assistants are too. They all listen to your needs, ensure that you are comfortable during procedures, and really make you feel welcome! The office in itself is very clean too, which is a huge plus. Highly recommend this dentist office!

I just had my dental services done at Sunbrite and I would like to say, "Wow!" From the front desk to the dentist Dr. KORI was amazing. They really make you feel welcome and they all to really love what they do. They took me step by step of what I needed done. First off, I'm deathly afraid of dentist. I have had to many bad experience that I would have panic attacks everytime I went. I have been to multiple offices and none have made my feel comfortable. Until today. Everyone in this building cares. They were all so sweet, I had zero anxiety. Most offices I feel judged, I have never felt so calm and at ease. Not only did I get the help that I needed, but I got a mini class on how my teeth work. Sounds silly but honestly it helped me understand what I need to do from here on out. Dr. Abalos and Unique really helped me out during my time here! Dr. Abalos explained everything that would be going on and when it came down to it, the two of them made a great team! Betty did my cleaning and she was so through and gentle though it, she made sure I was comfortable the entire time. It made the cleaning seem like it passed by in no time. I have never been one to like going to the dentist, I’ve just never had good experiences with them. But Dr. Abalos and her staff absolutely changed my attitude about going to the dentist as a whole. She was very informative and helped me understand everything that was going on with my teeth and exactly how it should be dealt with. Staff were very friendly and very efficient at everything they did. If you have teeth you need to go see Dr. Abalos.

I absolutely love Sunbrite Dental!!! I had a really bad experience as a child with going to the dentist, and avoided the dentist until now(about 15 yrs.). Here at Sunbrite they actually care about you as a person. With everything they do they explain it. They ask if you are okay and want you to let them know if there is any pain. I have never been to a dentist that cares this much. They are absolutely amazing and have helped me not to fear the dentist.

For a person who hates going to the dentist, Dr. Julian and staff made it difficult to hate my experience. From the Netflix playing in the background to the friendly faces I felt in good hands which helped calm my nerves. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Idk what insurance they do and don't take you'll have to give them a call to verify. But I absolutely LOVE this office. My kids and I went to several different office that are bottom line rude or make you feel uncomfortable. This place was awesome from beginning to end. Found this gem after a terrible experience at another dentist facility that didn't want to take care of my immediate dental needs. Went to Sunbrite Dental a few hours later for a second opinion, and walked out with a whole explanation of what was going on with my teeth and why. The dentist even went through the financial process with me because my insurance coverage doesn't cover all the dental work. I scheduled my appointment, went in for my procedures and am happy to have reliable dentists who I can trust. Definitely recommend!

I originally wanted to replace a filling that had popped out last week. I knew my teeth were pretty beat up thanks to my negligence, but it was worth finding out all the damage. I would first like to give a 'shout out' to my friend, Karen G. who recommended SunBrite Dental (I owe you a lunch!! Thank you!!) There are several people I'd like to acknowledge starting with Eileen and Celina who helped me get scheduled on my 'Day 1'. Very friendly and patient. Michael, you are a character and a great addition to the SunBrite family. Thank you for being upbeat, caring and gentle during the pictures and xrays. Dr. Kori, thank you for your helpful info!! Dr. Abalos,I appreciated your detailed explanation of what I needed. 'Day 2' Thank you, Kathy for a wonderful laser treatment for my gums!! Once we got that topical in place, the rest was easy. It was fun sharing common memories of the 80's lol 😁 'Day 3' And lastly to Dr. Calvo who got me past the trauma I carried from a root canal I had 50 years ago when I was 16. I ended up having TWO root canals today thanks to Dr. Calvo and his tech, Daisy!! Wonderful experience and I will be back!!

I have lived in Vegas for about 2 years now and the staff here are probably the nicest people I’ve met since being here. I had came in to get some fillings done and they were so sweet throughout, making sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Even after one of the fillings was done I was still experiencing some pain and they brought me back in immediately and redid the entire filling to ensure I wouldn’t be in pain. I've been to several dentist but always disppointed. When I went to Sunbrite they presented a treatment plan, do i decided to give it a go. Doctors and staff are so nice. They're always asking if I feel fine during my procedure. I had a dental implant, filling, deep scaling& cleaning, and laser treatment. I am deathly afraid of dentists, started at the age of 6 and I’m 53 years old now and have bad anxiety. Im writing this review on behalf of my uncle who isn't very tech-savvy. He told me about his experience with his office. His insurance wasn't accepted here and his response wasn't the nicest. He was on the phone with the woman who works at the front, Jureka, and though he was very irate she was still calm and explaining it out for him. It takes patience to have to deal with people like him and still be great at your job so kudos to her.

After searching for a new dentist after the year of COVID-19 I had not been to a dentist for over a year. I found Sunbrite online search's and compared between a couple of Dentist. I was looking for my dentist on the eastside of town, their office is in the Smith's strip mall. The Dentist are Filipino's I was correct in my thinking I they provide excellent Service. When you call for your first appointment you will get one of the Friendly & Excellent and Happy Office staff. When you arrive for your first appointment after checking in you get to meet all the highly qualified Dental Assistants & Dr. Abalos to explain your treatment plan to you. If your plan requires that you may need to finance, it the finance management team works with you to get the best rates. Dr. Calvo will be giving you your special treatment. Extractions, Implants or Dentures. Any of your dental plans will have a dental cleaning three times a year to provide good clean dental hygiene. All the staff work to ensure comfort during any treatment. Yes, I know people will say that the cost for Implants & Denture may be higher side. But you get higher quality products and high-quality service from the friendly caring staff. I would highly recommend their service. The staff is like a big family which you will be seeing on a regular basis during any implant or denture process. So, if you're looking for an excellent Dental Office on the Eastside of Las Vegas Sunbrite Dental should be your choice, so you don't have to drive to Henderson or Summerlin to get the same Quality service.

I came in for a check up to Sunbrite Dental. Everyone in the front office is so great. Mildred and Jureka were so helpful with sorting out my insurance and copays. Dr. Abalos did my examination. She was super informative and discussed all of my treatment with me in detail. It was really good to understand what I needed. Dr. Calvo is the best! I didn't feel the shots he gave me at all! I was anxious about my fillings because I hate needles, but it was all completely painless. He explained the whole procedure to me before and while he was working on me and I really appreciated it. Family oriented environment, the staff was patient and great with my kids both 1 & 4! What I LOVED most was the detailed breakdown where they show a plastic tooth model of decay, next to your X-rays on a screen! That way you get a detailed understanding of what needs to be done first and why! Last but not least, they're gentle and attentive to your mouth while operating! What I appreciate about this dental practice is the great sense of camaraderie among the staff. The staff is friendly, personable, and seem to love what they do. The facility itself is very top notch and state-of-the-art. I was particularly impressed with the educational component provided by the assistants, hygienists, and doctors to the patient. My first visit consisted of an exam of my teeth and finding a treatment plan and preventative plan that was specific to my needs. This family owned dentist office goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and make them stand out compared to their competitors. For example, out of numerous dentist offices I have been to I've never had someone put vaseline on my lips to prevent my lips from cracking or feeling discomfort shortly after. It's the little things like these that really make this dentist office stand out from all others. I would highly recommend Kathy the hygienist! My 2nd visit, which was today, consisted of Kathy the hygienist cleaning my teeth and providing a laser treatment service that kills bacteria in your gums to prevent your gums receding and bleeding. She went out of her way to answer the million questions I had and made me feel like her friend! She was very gentle and caring as well. This alone has made me become a lifetime customer. I had my girlfriend switch from her old dentist office to come over here due to the amazing service I received and we were actually able to get our appointments together today. I have recommended this dentist office to everyone in my family and will continue recommending this dentist office to anyone I come in contact with! This place is not here for the money I can tell you that off the jump! If this place was just trying to take your money, they would not advise you of all the preventative care you need to be taking to take care of your teeth and gums! Let's not forget the front desk personnel and helpers around the office. All of them make you feel welcome and always greet you with a smile and make you feel comfortable. I can continue going on about how great my experience was here at the dentist office but words cannot express how satisfied I am with everyone I've came in contact with and all the services they are providing! I just had my first visit at Sunbrite Dental this afternoon. I truthfully RARELY leave feedback for businesses/services and I know that's especially bad because I absolutely rely on reviews myself! I am as picky as they come with dentists - major teeth sensitivity, anxiety, hate fillings, you name it - and I can truly say that this office is amazing! The waiting room and exam rooms are fresh and clean and adhere to all Covid compliance plus they have great instruments - my xrays (which yes can also be a thing for me) was a breeze with an easy to bite on guide and a neat hand gun for the xray machine. The front staff are welcoming and inviting. My hygienist Kathy was absolutely amazing. She knows what she is doing - you want her to clean your teeth! She was so careful with me around my sensitive areas - I've had good hygienist, but I've never had such attention to detail as with Kathy. Dr. Abalos was so easy to talk to and did not make me feel pressured about anything and her assistant Maria (who did my xrays) was also wonderful. I go in tomorrow for a small filling and for the first time in a loooong time I'm not crippled with fear and anxiety over the procedure. Do yourself a favor and visit Sunbrite! I visited another dentist before going to Sunbrite dental and needed to get a root canal. The numbing process at the first dentist was quite painful. I felt a sharp pain each time they inserted the needle to numb me. I was pregnant at the time and they could only give me a small amount of the numbing medicine. It was not enough to fully numb the tooth and buy the time they began drilling I was in so much pain I started crying. I couldn’t finish the procedure. Now that I’m no longer pregnant I decided to go to a different dentist to get the dental work. I saw that Sunbrite dental had great reviews and I completely understand why. Their office is cleaner and generally nicer. The people are nicer too. They have a care and consideration for their patients that I haven’t experienced before. A significant difference is that when I got my root canal I didn’t feel pain when injecting the numbing medicine at all. I did have a little pain at the beginning of drilling as I needed extra numbing medicine. But I’m very happy I have found a dentist that I feel comfortable visiting. The staff members I had contact with were all knowledgeable and friendly and they care about making patients feel comfortable.

Before SunBrite, I hadn't seen a dentist in years. I knew there would be work and my front teeth were chipped. After x-rays, Dr. Abalos showed me everything that needed work. I really liked how she explained it in a way that made sense. I ended up needing to get five crowns. And, because of teeth grinding I had already chipped my front teeth. Dr. Abalos explained that Invisalign will straighten my teeth and fix it so that they don't continue to chip or break. Dr. Calvo did all of my crowns and they look and feel great. On a side note, while my insurance doesn't cover Invisalign because of my age, I decided to get them because I knew if I wanted it done right, I should get the work done with SunBrite. Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful. They have really cool tech and I got to watch Netflix while my teeth were being fixed. :)

I originally saw Dr. Calvo after my upper middle incisor broke off leaving a jagged point (which would have been great around Halloween). After skipping my cleanings and exams for almost 2 years right when a lot of old work was starting to break down, I wasn't surprised to find that my mouth was a mess. That's all the more reason why I really appreciated Dr. Calvo's pain shot technique – I barely felt a single one! I've also had really crooked lower front teeth most of my life so since a lot of work was in that area we went ahead and capped all the lower incisors. Now, for the first time in over half a century, I don't have to be self-conscious when I smile. They look great! Dr. Abalos was also very helpful in setting up financing, and the staff was always very friendly.

The Sunbrite people were very friendly, very professional. I had a couple of crowns and fillings and extractions done. It's a long visit but they did a great job to make me comfortable.

This review has been almost a year in the making. I’ll try to give you the cliff notes version here. I’ve always had a probably unreasonable fear of those in the medical industry including dentists. 12 years ago I went to a highly regarded dentist & had a terrible experience. Since I didn’t see the actual dentist that was recommended but his trainee or whatever they call those getting their experience, I won’t name the practice. I did want to return w/my own power tools & tire iron to give this guy a taste of his own medicine. So for 12 years I avoided dentist & doctors since I was feeling no pain. A little over a year ago I lost a couple of teeth within a few months. I made an appointment at Sunbrite Dental since it was close to work. I figured if I have to go, might as well be somewhere close. I was told that due to neglect and other untreated health conditions, I was going to lose all my teeth & they couldn’t do anything for me unless I got a medical clearance from a doctor to receive anesthesia so they could do the extraction. Went to see a doctor & they wouldn’t give clearance until my blood pressure dropped to normal levels. This took a couple of months & I went for a “free” 2nd opinion from another practice that advertises all over TV & radio. This “free” opinion couldn’t be given unless I paid for some hi tech 3D imaging of my head that I’d have to pay $500 out of pocket for. Thanked them for their time & hit the pavement. Fast fwd 2 mos & I’m back at Sunbrite Dental, BP down & terrified to let them know I’m ready to lose all my teeth & live on oatmeal & jello for the next 9-10 months while I go thru the steps of getting snap in dentures on 7 implants. That’s when it hit me how much nicer the staff at Sunbrite Dental are compared to the highly advertised on radio & tv practice. I work with the public daily & I do a pretty good job of faking it through the business day (I’m not really a “people” person), but the crew at Sunbrite Dental are some of the nicest to man a front desk as I’ve ever encountered. Dr. Abalos (who did my initial consultation) has an excellent way with patients. Dr. Calvo really is concerned for his patients & makes the experience as pain free as possible. I grew up heavily influenced by movies like First Blood, Die Hard & Conan the Barbarian. You didn’t admit to feeling pain & if it happened, you tried to come up with a funny one liner just like the characters in your favorite movies. I’m not that cool but Dr. Calvo could tell if I tensed up that I was feeling something & always did his best to minimize any discomfort. Multiple visits for bone grafts (spell check), implant insertions & multiple adjustments to the temporary dentures made me much more comfortable. I actually looked forward to when I’d have my permanent dentures. January 2021 I got my permanent dentures. Day 1, taquitos, tortilla chips almonds, crunchy foods are back on the menu! Day 2, barbecue on the skewer, chicharon & bagels are not a problem! Another appointment next week to make sure everything is ok, but as always, Dr. Calvo insists that if I experience any problems or discomfort to call & they’ll make every effort to accommodate me. I can’t say enough about Sunbrite Dental. They have my complete confidence & my highest recommendation. One of my co-workers is now a patient of theirs & also a satisfied customer. So for all the knuckle dragging Neanderthals like me and all the normal people who are in need of a dentist you can trust, I recommend you call Sunbrite Dental.

This team is awesome! I was in LV visiting my son and his wife for their "first" Baby Shower . The morning after my arrival, I woke up to a swollen jaw. By the next day (Sunday), It was even worse and looked like I had a golf ball in my mouth. I got right in to Sunbrite Dental on Monday morning but was too swollen for any work to begin. I was given a strong antibiotic and scheduled for two visits that week after the antibiotic started working. Dr. Calvo had me looking and feeling great in time for the Baby Shower. I did not go to the dentist for many years due to some bad experiences. I was terrified of dentists. I decided to give this place a try. When I arrived I told them of my fear. Everyone on staff from the receptionist to the hygienists to the doctor were kind and helpful. They spoke to me at length and were patient and kind. Doctor Calvo spent a significant amount of time talking to me and listening in order to comfort me. My visit for x-rays went so well I returned for a deep cleaning. I love the staff here and their customer service is excellent! They worked on doing fillings on a lot of my teeth and also doing crowns. The staff is amazing as well as the doctors. The doctors Dr. Calvo and Dr. Abalos always make sure that I’m comfortable during procedures. They pay attention to my body language as well, and always makes sure to ask if I’m okay whenever I seem like I’m in discomfort. I’ve had the chance to speak with one of the staff members as well. I asked her how she liked working there and she seemed like she’s very happy with her job and she says she’s really learning a whole lot from the doctors too. It was late when this happened and she was the only staff member at the office, so I didn’t think she was forced to say that to me lol. (Typically, you can tell the service is really bad when the staff hates their jobs because their management is probably bad too, which is NOT the case at Sunbrite) But yeah, overall, I’m very pleased with the service at this dental office 😊

I absolutely love Sunbrite Dental! They are the best dentist in Vegas! I’ve been coming here for over a year now. This place has changed how I view my oral health and overall health. The dentist, hygienist and staff are very nice and informative. Over the course of this last year I’ve gotten numerous cavities filled and even a tooth implant. I had really bad gum disease and bone loss before coming here. Thanks to the team at Sunbrite Dental I have been able to manage my gun disease and get back on with my oral health. The reason why I love Sunbrite Dental is because they take the time to inform you as to why you may be having problems with your teeth. They educated me on why I had problems with cavities and gum disease and why my gums where bleeding. The customer service here is also second to none. Betty was very sweet she took good care of my baby girl she received her cleaning and everything was pain free… Best dentist in Las Vegas ! Today I had my teeth cleaned by Dr.Abalos and Shauntia and from start to finish it was one of the most relaxing comfortable experiences I’ve ever had at a dental office. To start I’m scared of needles and although I work in the office I still have a BIG fear of needles which cause me to stay away from the dentist or at least out the chair so when it came to my cleaning I let Tia know that I’m nervous. When we got started Dr.Abalos explained to me how everything was going to take place even though I knew what to expect it different when you sitting in the chair. So it was time Dr.Abalos applied some numbing cream on my gums and rubbed it in really well after she let me sit for about to 2 min and then she wiggle my check and before I knew she was done my mouth was numb and I felt nothing after that we proceeded with the cleaning and throughout the cleaning I was asked multiple times if I was comfortable which made me feel more relaxed once the cleaning was done I felt great. Now I see why everyone leaves the office with a smiles .

Everyone in this office is truly amazing! Their phone etiquete is superb, they are all so kind and quick to answer any questions and try to get you in the same day if you say you're in pain. They call you by your name and if they take longer than the usual, they are very conscious about it and apologize for making you wait. They offer care credit and work with you to meet your needs. A lot of places left me feeling like I would be taken advantage of, but this place was heaven from the start. I called a few places asking how much they charged to simply fill a cavity prior to coming in to this office and every place seemed to charge at least the double of what they charge here.

When I searched on Google for a Filipino Dentist, one of the names that came up was Dr. Ervin Calvo. I looked for the reviews and they were mostly 5 stars. So I made the appointment and I can proudly say, I did not make a mistake. Everybody in this Office is awesome, very professional from Staff to Dentists. They make you feel comfortable. I told Dr. Calvo he is the best Dentist I ever have. I had a Porcelain crown put on my front teeth. Very thorough with what he was working on and made sure you are not in pain. His patients get a Tender Loving Care. I highly recommend him to everybody . You will not regret it.

Great Service, Dr. Calvo and Dr. Abalos, assisted me in an emergency extraction in November 2019. My left bottom molar was seriously infected and root canal was not possible to safe the tooth. The front office was professional and courteous, worked with my out of state insurance and was charged for the service at a very reasonable price. Dr. Calvo performed the procedure and Dr. Abalos assisted and I am very terrified of the Dentist with a low pain tolerance. What a blessing. 10/04/17 Dental Implant For years I have wanted to get a dental implant to replace a lost back tooth, but could never find a dentist I felt I could trust with the procedure. Then thankfully I saw the reviews for Sunbrite Dental. My first visit was with Dr. Abalos (who is wonderful) for cleaning and checkup. At that time she thoroughly and unhurriedly explained to me the process for the implant, and introduced me to Dr. Calvo, who would do the work. Yesterday was the big day, and it was amazing. Dr. Calvo was so very patient and kind, making absolutely sure I did not feel any pain whatsoever. The procedure went swimmingly, and although I cannot guarantee this for everyone, even as of today I have had no post-surgery discomfort of any kind. It may sound odd, but this has been an almost pleasant experience. Who knew. The doctors, the staff, even the office environment is utterly fantastic. If someone had told me a dentist office could be this caring and comfortable I would never have believed it. Hate to say it, but it puts everybody else out there to shame. An incredible place.

Like a lot of you I put of going to the dentist because of no insurance but I also suffer from a huge fear of dental treatment. I was referred by my neighbor. I arrived in tears from fear however I now look back and wonder why. I explained to the dentist and she was so kind, caring and went above and beyond to assure I was comfortable and pain free during the entire appointment. Dr. Calvo took the time explain my options and was able to help me get an implant after years of wearing a retainer. To say my implant looks AMAZING would be an understatement. Dr Calvo and Dr Ábalos are what I call “The Magic People of Numbing.” The worst part of going to the dentist for me is getting numbed, but I can honestly say that I did not feel one single pinch when these Doctors numbed me. There was one point when I felt something while Dr Calvo was drilling and when I raised my hand he stopped and asked if I was having pain. I told him that it wasn’t pain, per se, but I just knew that I was uncomfortable. Instead of continuing and saying “we are almost done” like past dentists have, he took the safe route and gave me an extra shot (which I didn’t feel at all). After that there was no sensitivity at all and he was able to finish. This is the ABSOLUTE BEST dental experience I have ever had in my life!!! And I have had a lot of work done in the past: molar and wisdom removals, root canals, fillings, crowns, and braces. Never have any of those dentists come close to the level of service these dentists showed my family and I. I took my 1.5 year old son here and Dr Abalos was not only concerned about his teeth, but she was also concerned about his mental health and the trauma that a dental experience can subject a little one to. She wasn’t at all pushy, never forced my son to cooperate, and was extremely patient. Finally, I have been to offices where the Doctors are awesome, but their front desk staff and assistants/nurses are terrible. This is NOT the case for this office. EVERYONE at this office is wonderful! I couldn’t be happier with my choice in dentists!! Drs Calvo and Abalos, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for not only the wonderful service you provided my husband, son, and I, but also for creating a work envioronment that creates happy staff. Dr. Calvo is the FIRST dentist I have EVER gone back to!! I have horrible anxiety when it comes to the dentist. My smile is my bread and butter so to have people messing with it terrifies me.
