It took us a long time to find a dental practice that we trust. That's what we have with Montz and Maher Dental Group. The Hygienists are wonderful; not just the work they do, but also their personalities. I've never had a bad experience. Dr. Montz is very personable and funny. He's an awesome Dentist and most importantly, I don't feel he recommends work you don't need. He informs you of his findings and the decision is yours. He'll even prioritize the work for you so you know what needs attention first. They are a busy practice but the office runs very well. They offer payment plans if you want or need major work done. Exams and cleanings are reasonably priced so if you don't have dental insurance, you can still work to have your teeth for the rest of your life. I really love and appreciate this practice.

I recently moved to town and in a dental search found Montz and Maher Dental Group. I have to say going to this practice has been the pinnacle of dentistry experiences in my life. From the moment I walked in the door, I was made comfortable and received excellent service. The communication between staff members is impressive and the communication to patients is thorough and respectful. Today was my second visit, and I was just as excellent as the first. I had a filling and not only was it not painful, but I almost fell asleep while being worked on. From the numbing to the actual work, I was well cared-for, and I felt like the dentist and assistant were concerned for my well-being. I’m grateful for a wonderful dentist!

Seriously the most amazing experience for both of our boys! Our youngest (9 year old) is TERRIFIED of going to the dentist! We had a really really bad experience years ago at another dentist and it took us 3 years to even think about trying it again. I can’t even explain how amazing the staff, doctor, and all the women there were to both my boys! ❤️ had them laughing and my youngest even though he was nervous at the start we ended the appointment with him asking “When can I come back?!” 🤩 hands down never going to another dentist ever! I lost a filling and contacted this office for help in the early afternoon due to severe tooth pain. They were able to get me into the office on the same day. Dr. Maher and Erin turned an absolute nightmare of a day into the best dentist visit that I have ever had. I don't live in Pearland, but I don't see myself going to any other dentist again and will happily drive the 30 minutes to their Pearland location to receive the same level of care going forward.

Hands down the best dentist I have ever been to. Extremely attentive to your needs and makes sure you are always comfortable. Courtney is my dental hygienist, and has been since I started coming here in early 2021. She is amazing and I highly recommend her as well. Over the past year and a half they have transformed my teeth and gums to be healthier. They also have given me the tools and advice to continue to practice good oral hygiene at home. On my most recent checkup they were very complimentary on how well I have been doing at home and it shows! Can't go wrong coming here! I use to hate going to the dentist, now I actually look forward to it!

This is a top notch professional facility. From sign-in through treatment, all is provided with experienced staff. Equipment is latest and staff is knowledgeable and helpful explaining procedures. They provide good dental advice in a friendly manner to inform patient of preventative dental care. Their trademark is friendly service and a pleasant, positive experience. I have not encountered any problems related to service and treatment outcomes. Finance department works to assure correct billing.and will make needed adjustments if necessary when brought to their attention. Dentist(s) are very experienced and proficient. Careful and methodical treatment is standard. Nothing is hurried. Desiree is awesome and the hygienists are equally well trained, experienced and friendly. Scheduler also helps keep track of needed treatment per patient plan. I have had a good experience the several times I’ve been there. Receptionists are all welcoming and have a nice coffee/ tea and treats selection to make you feel at home. I anticipate receiving continued good service and treatment based on past experiences. I highly recommend this dental clinic.

Just had my first visit to this office, and it was great. They are very thorough and informative, and they work with you based on your individual needs and goals. I would highly recommend Montz and Maher Dental Group! They are out of network for my insurance, but for my insurance specifically, the cost isn’t very much different when compared to in network providers. Definitely worth the little extra cost for me.

I love going to Montz and Maher Dental Group, it's a wonderful and exciting experience every time I go! It is fun, comfortable, and informative. I learn something new everytime I go, such as proper gum measurements and what my gingival crest is. It is such a comfortable experience not only because of the office's beautiful and homey design but also because of everybody who works there. We have been looking for a good Dentist since the Pandemic started. Fortunately we found Dr. Montz. The staff is friendly and caring. My Dental Hygienist, Desiree was wonderful. She explained everything as we went through the appointment. Desiree took x-rays, pictures of me with a camera, and later showed all to me while explaining the future dental work I will need. She then cleaned my teeth; it felt so good.. Dr. Montz then came in and explained why I would need the work done in the future, and how I can tell when it will be necessary. There was no pressure to make me do it all now. I left with a big “Smile” on my face.

Dr. Montz and his team are very courteous and well organized. Dr. Montz is professional but takes extra time and effort to help one relax. He takes advantage of the latest equipment upgrades and procedure improvements. Dr. Montz saw me twice on off hours in order to make me comfortable over a weekend. It’s been a few Months since my visit to M&M Dental Group so thought it would be nice to finally leave a review. The damage to my teeth happened a long time ago in a tight racket ball match where one of the rackets ended up getting the better of my front teeth. While the original work was decent, time and coffee and red wine and a few cracks and chips and, and, and, had taken there toll and the last chip was the last straw. I went to Dr Montz knowing it was time to get things repaired properly but never imagined just how good they would turn out. I couldn’t be happier with the results and my teeth have never looked or worked better. Dr Montz and team are downright impressive. The process was flawless with every step well explained, and never a hard sell for an expensive fix. The staff is incredibly nice, professional and accommodating and Dr Montz himself, a genuinely good person in a relentless search for excellence in his work. The good thing, his pursuit of perfection gets applied to your teeth. If you are looking for the best, go see Dr Montz!

After much research and raving reviews from my neighborhood FB group, I decided to give Montz and Maher a try. BEST DECISION EVER! They are on point. Super professional, thorough, my treatment plan was very clear, affordable and they use high end technology to break down everything you need to have healthy teeth and gums. I am very pleased with the professional, efficient, and friendly dental care I receive at Montz and Maher Dental Group. My hygienist is Sara, and she is absolutely wonderful. Friendly while being professional, she is extremely knowledgeable and caring. On my first visit to their office Sara asked about my dental health goals. My goal is to keep my own teeth (I’m 56). At the time I was having gum issues and a problem with a tooth. Dr. Mayer provided me with the tools and knowledge I needed, along with a much needed crown. I could not be happier. I have been going to Montz and Maher since it was just Montz. Over the years, even with a growing practice, they have always been accomodating and courteous. I usually see Dr. Montz and he is wonderful but on the occassion that I have seen Dr. Maher he is awesome as well. My dental hygienist is Ashley. She is always in a great mood and does a fantastic job. Last week while Ashley was unavailable I saw my husband's usual hygienist, Courtney and she was fantastic. The office staff is great and very helpful with insurance.

I just became a patient at Montz and Maher and it was pretty cool! Well my previous experience with my former dentist was nothing like the experience I had at M&M (and they're not bad at all either). Nevertheless, everyone was really nice and welcoming, even on their A-game without even trying. They are very transparent towards the findings they come across and they will definitely show you everything! I really appreciated that aspect of being seen there. Moreover, I most definitely do recommend prospective patients to make a visit to M&M! It's pretty cool!

The people here are great and go the extra mile. Until I found these folks I absolutely hated going to the dentist. growing up I had horrible experiences. At my first visit I sat down with Dr. Maher and he listened and was not judgmental in any way. Long story short between the accident I had and the neglect I had to have some rather extensive work done, basically a new set of teeth. He explained my different options and made me feel completely comfortable. I can not say enough good things about the staff and doctors here. I actually look forward to my checkups with them. I visited many places to explore my new teeth options and I can say without a doubt I made the right choice. I've heard my mother rave about Montz and Maher for years as she doesnt go anywhere else for cosmetic work on her teeth which are beautiful. Dr. Montz did beautiful work on my brother and sisters teeth from crooked to braces to absolutely beautiful white straight yet natural looking teeth. I now bring my family here and I have no regrets. We see Dr. Maher and he has done amazing work on my son with filling cavities teeth cleaning and my husband is truly excited after having his consultation. He had confidence i have never seen him have after leaving Dr Mahers visit yesterday. Dr. Maher has such a kind yet professional bedside manner and its comforting because you don't leave without having a plan you are able to execute. I know this is long but I cant leave out the Drs. From the polite receptionist Jordyn scheduling my appointment and helping me with all of my questions, to my very genuine and knowledgeable hygienist Sara who thoroughly educated me throughout the entire exam and teeth cleaning process. My husband and I are new to the area, so I decided to Google best dentist in Pearland and found Montz and Maher Dental Group. Montz and Maher Dental Group is by far the best dental group I have ever worked with. The staff is fantastic especially Dr. Montz, Rhonda, and Desiree. They are the staff I have been working closely with for my treatments. Dr. Montz is very knowledgeable from invisalign to special dental treatments. Dr. Maher is awesome! I used to avoid going to the dentist unless I had a problem. I went to Montz and Maher for the first time a few years ago and I immediately felt comfortable and relaxed throughout my visit. If you are looking for a “Chick Fil A type of service” you definitely want to call Montz and Maher! They are the best!! My fist-time visit with Lacy and Dr. Maher was great! They were both very professional and knowledgeable. Dr Montz has been my dentist for many years, he’s changed my life by keeping my teeth and gums healthy. He’s a detective when it comes to finding the solution to any problem when it comes to dental health. He did an amazing job with my veneers, they’re perfect and I always get compliments on my smile. When my parents needed dentures, naturally I took them to see Dr Montz. He made them feel at ease and again did an outstanding job. I also love getting my teeth cleaned, Desiree is the absolute best! I had my first appointment at M&M with Dr. Maher this morning (7/30/19), and it was the best experience one can have going to the dentist. First of all, they were able to squeeze me in and take care of a small emergency with a bridge I have. Danielle set everything up, and she was very attentive. Rhonda took photos, etc., and she couldn't have been a nicer person. Then, Desiree treated my gums. She was also very nice, gentle, and extremely precise. Last, but not least, Dr. Maher (and Rhonda) quickly fixed and treated a bridge that I was having a problem with. He was friendly, and very easy-going. I'm a little bit of a wimp when it comes to going to the dentist, but this office made me feel so comfortable. I am a full time nurse in San Antonio, but still make the drive down to Pearland for a dental visit. They are just that good! I went here looking to get a new front tooth crown, and Dr. Montz was very honest with me and told me that my teeth are just fine the way they are. I really appreciated his honesty, and it was obvious that he was more concerned with my well being than he was with making a sale. There are some little cosmetic issues here and there that I don't like about my teeth, but he assured me that my teeth look fine and that they're healthy, and that my current crown looks great. He said in his honest opinion that my money is better spent on something fun than on unnecessary dental work. My current crown is good, and it was done years ago by a really good dentist in Houston. I just hoped it could be better, but Dr. Montz assured me that it's not going to be perfect unless I put veneers on the teeth around it, but that the rest of my teeth look great and he wouldn't want to veneer them when there's nothing wrong with them. Went in to discuss my snoring after doing research on different options available to help me get a good nights sleep. I was very impressed with everything about my visit. Danielle was friendly and greeted me by name when I walked in. Megan spent time getting my background and asking detailed questions about my health and sleeping issues. She showed me several mouth guards that were available. She x-rayed me and used a computer to generate a mold of my teeth. No more messy impressions!! Dr Mayer measured my mouth and went over my plan. I took a sleep study device home to wear tonight when I sleep and will drop it off tomorrow morning. My results will be read within a couple of days and we will have a baseline on my sleep issues. I highly recommend Dr. Montz Dental Group for sleeping issues!! I only wish I had done this sooner.

I came here for Sleep Solutions that I heard about from Cowboy Dave on 100.3 to help with my annoying snoring. Turns out I had really bad sleep apnea!! Dr Montz and his team from the moment I was greeted worked together from diagnosis to fitting of my wonderful mouth piece. Now I am sleeping so much better and much quieter. This is so much a better option than CPAP. Highly recommend!! I had the best dental experience of my left yesterday! I was nervously scheduled for some gum grating with Dr. Varesic. I was apprehensive about getting numb, the procedure and most especially post operative discomfort! I am thrilled to say that I was nervous for NO reason. The best office for all teeth needs. Very thorough their work and very thorough with explaining at home care. I went through gum therapy to help clear Gingavitis infection and they took their time to examine, test, and clean my teeth and gave me everything I needed to extend my care at home. They also took time to go over my microscope results (ever had a dentist that will show you how your mouth microbes look under a microscope?) and explain to me each strain of the harmful bacteria, and then at each of my appointments during gum therapy they let me view my progress as well. They took time to also explain exactly how to brush, floss, and irrigate with my Waterpik (which was included in the price of my gum therapy) to be able to have success at home. Everything they have done for me has helped my teeth improve so much in just a few months! Will be returning to anything I need regarding dental work.

I am now 54, and had suffered from such pain I finally surrendered and found Montez and Mayer. From the first point of contact with Heidi, I knew this was the place. As embarrassing as it was, I told her my history and she was amazing. Had it not been for her I wouldn’t have had the courage to go. My first visit was so scary, but as soon as I went back in the room I was told every single step prior to it occurred and offered compassion and comfort. All the decades of fear washed away. My first visit to this dental office to see Dr. Dunwody was excellent! At the moment I walked in the office, I was greeted by the super friendly receptionist, Maria. She was very sweet and personable and made me feel comfortable from the get-go. It did not escape my attention how clean and well-kept the office was. Desiree, my dental hygienist, greeted me and already seemed to know a lot about me. I even got a tour of the entire office before I was seated in a dental chair! This office has state-of-the-art technology. I love that! As far as my exam and cleaning- excellent! I was so impressed with the pictures Desiree took of my teeth. It was amazing to be able to see on the screen what she could see. After my cleaning, I got to meet Dr. Dunwody. She greeted me very warmly and took a few minutes to visit with me before getting started. The communication here is amazing! Desiree explained all the details of my exam and cleaning to Dr. Dunwody, who then did the most thorough dental exam I have ever had! After the exam, Dr. Dunwody provided me with an easy-to-understand treatment plan, her recommendations, and the best part of all: options! From start to finish, my visit to this office was the best I've ever had. Don't change a thing! After such a wonderful visit, I know I have found my dentist for life!

everyone here is nothing short of amazing. they have a level of compassion and understanding i've never experienced at a dental office. due to past experiences i am PETRIFIED of having dental work. i had a tooth break almost 3 years ago but it wasn't hurting so i put it off. one night it let me know intensely it was there and wanted attention. so off to a net search i went. first thing that drew me to this practice is they offer sedation on their site. no other group did that. then i read the reviews, i found an awesome AC guy this way so i sent a request online as it was after hours. i wasn't expecting to hear back let alone as soon as they opened. they also scheduled me a same day appointment. i get there and it's obvious i can't go through with a root canal not sedated. other dentists have pushed me, but erin and dr maher are so sweet. you can tell they both really care about your wellbeing. i scheduled my appointment and wanted my two crowns replaced that food was sticking in between and a root canal with a crown all in one sitting. that's another bonus, no going to an endodontist and no waiting weeks for your crown. well the tooth pain came back with a vengeance and they saw me earlier for it. easiest root canal i've ever had!!! super simple, they give you scripts and administer the meds then off to lala land you go. no IV sticks, which i'm not fond of em, and they give you blankets, pillows, even sunglasses to dim the doctors light! also they are the first group to be sure i'm numb all the way, they absolutely don't want you to hurt. and to top it off they call or text to check on you before bed to make sure you're doing ok, which says a lot about the people they are. i just can't say enough about how amazing this group is. if you're scared of the dentist trust me when i say this group can change your opinion, lessen your fears and make your smile perfect all while keeping you comfortable.
