From the very first consultation, Dr. Okuda understood my dental concerns, made me feel super comfortable and I completely trusted him after having a bad experience with another dentist. He’s very knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. My experience was beyond my expectations and I absolutely LOVE my new smile!! My whole experience from start to finish with Dr. Okuda has been nothing but the best. First starting with his front office who are so on top of it with scheduling appointments and making sure it works out with my schedule. The staff are all females and they are the sweetest and most caring! They are so gentle with everything and they do the most to make you feel the most comfortable while in the chair. I am always offered tea or water and feel so at ease once I’m in Dr. Okuda’s office. While you get anything done or even just a quick check-up, you are offered a foot massage with heated pads for your neck and shoulders and this makes everything so much more relaxing. On my procedure day, I was super nervous. But that’s usually how I am with anything. But Dr. Okuda and his staff made me feel so at ease that I didn’t feel a thing. I love the relationship I created with their office and I can’t wait to go back for my follow-up appointments. If you are looking to perfect your smile even in the slightest, Dr. Okuda and his team are the way to go.

I will start by saying I was petrified of going to the dentist. My journey with Dr. Okuda and his outstanding team started a little over two years ago. Before seeing Dr. Okuda, three other dentists suggested that I have all my teeth pulled and get dentures. I was devastated and Dr. Okuda was the first dentist to say that I didn’t need to go with dentures. Dr. Okuda came up with a plan despite all the complications caused by my poor oral health. The way they pamper the patients really takes away the stigma and anxiety of going to the dentist. They have this Dental Day Spa philosophy that is unreal. You have to experience to understand. I had a semi-emergency and needed to see Dr. Okuda at his first available opening and I was on a compressed timeline. His staff went out of their way to adjust their schedule to accommodate my needs. I met Dr. Okuda in March of 2018. Although I am very nervous whenever I visited any dentist, I felt very comfortable with Dr. Okuda and his staff. They have a homey atmosphere. AMAZING 10 STAR EXPERIENCE. You would not find a better dental team than the one at the Okuda office! A few years ago, my mom had her 4 front teeth knocked out and I had to find her a dentist that was an expert in cosmetic dentistry because my mom already had porcelains done before. She wasn't very satisfied with her previous set, so we didn't go back to that dentist. I spent a lot of time asking around and reading reviews online to find the perfect dentist for her. I came across Dr. Okuda's office and when we went for our first consultation, right off the bat we could tell how professional the team was. They were welcoming and very empathetic of my mom’s situation. They were helpful and patient with me and mom. After our first visit, I didn’t even bother looking or visiting another dental office. We were sold. They were extremely professional and thorough with mom’s condition and what we had to do going forward. The team made us feel like we would be well taken care of and it was a big decision for us because it wasn’t a simple job like getting a cavity filled, my mom would need reconstruction in her whole mouth so it could take 2-3 years. For the whole process, my mom had her old set taken out, implants done, and new porcelains put in. There were many visits within these 2-3 years and every time my mom went in and out with ease. When Dr. Okuda was busy with other patients, they would send in a masseuse to give her a massage and help her relax. I absolutely hate going to see the dentist, it makes me anxious and its painful, but my mom would never complain about her visits to the Okuda office and would also share with me how well she was taken care of. Mom jokingly suggested for me to save up some money so I can have my teeth done with Dr. Koufax too! THANK YOU to everyone at the Okuda office for taking such good care of my mom. WE ARE SO VERY GLAD that we chose the Okuda team for the job and my mom loves her new smile!

Dr. Okuda was absolutely amazing, he did a perfect job on my teeth. If you have bad anxiety or you are scared of the dentist like me, Dr. Okuda knows how to calm you down, make you feel safe, and that everything will be fine. But besides how wonderful he is and everyone that works with him in his office, his work was absolutely phenomenal, I went from having shark teeth, with a missing tooth and bucked teeth, to having a full bright beautiful smile.

I cannot rave enough about Dr. Wynn Okuda. He has changed my life! His staff is amazing. Dessie the office manager did my initial consultation and without her I don’t think I would have started this process. She is truly a blessing. Dr Okuda I’m convinced is a wizard because he truly preforms magic! But it’s not magic. It’s his skills and education that makes him so talented. He educates you in a way where it’s easy to understand. I had a tough case. All my teeth were in really bad shape due to years of neglect. I was missing 9 teeth and some were black. I kept my mouth shut as much as could whenever talking to people which cause my face muscles to because weak. I honestly gave up on taking care of not only my smile but I gave up on taking care of self entirely. My self confidence was as at a 0. His team has changed my life. First and foremost I CAN NOW EAT! I had one pair of teeth that touched that I used to eat with which was beyond difficult. I was embarrassed about the missing teeth to the point that I wouldn’t go out with friends let alone date. (I would be the last one on the table because it took me so long to eat)alI I do is just stay home and hide. I’m 28 years old and this has been torture for the past 10 years. I also was dealing with infections in my mouth which caused other Heath issues. They have changed my life and I can’t be any more great-full. My experience was amazing. I suffer with anxiety and they made me feel comfortable. Amber his assistant is the most skilled dental assistant I’ve ever met! , Dani the message therapist made me feel relaxed thought out the entire procedure, Debora’s calm energy helped with keeping the stress in the room to a minimal, Lisa the receptionist is so sweet and her positive energy just radiates through the phone and I can’t forget about Irene! She kept me informed through out the process and got me the best smoothie I’ve ever had in my life! All in all I’m thrilled to have got my teeth done and I’m excited about my future. Screw the confidence part. I AM NOW HEALTHILY which confidence will follow after that. His top priority is your Heath! Then cosmetics come after. That’s how it should be done. These people made me feel like I was part of their Ohana and I’m in forever debt to them all. I don’t think they even realize what they have done for me. I’ve been studying doctors For so long and no one compares to Dr. Okuda and his team. He incorporates this spa like concept so you feel like your at a luxury spa while getting your smile make over. My dental work in my younger years started to fail…I had an infection in my gums and suffered some bone loss in the front. My current dentist told me countless horror stories of failed dental implant work. Since my case was severe, I relied on him to refer the best person for the job. He recommended Wynn Okuda because of his exceptional surgical skills in bone grafting, gum, veneers and implant work. Every phase of the procedure was explained very well. My teeth and jaw feel so aligned, it feels great! In an analogy, Mr. Wynn Okuda is more than a “carpenter” that does renovation, but rather a finishing carpenter that works on the finer details to make the entire picture balanced and complete. Lisa and the staff are extremely warm and courteous. If you get fidgety, a massage therapy by Danica, before and during the critical dental sessions, is a big plus!!!! Yes, the remedial work was expensive for me, but I saw the value. My thoughts were “Think for the long term and get it done RIGHT the first time, I don’t want any regrets”. The outcome was better than I expected. My friends and family complemented how beautiful the teeth looks. So if you are looking for that artist with the ultimate brush stroke, please consider Wynn Okuda and his staff, I am glad I did.

I would recommend Dr. Okuda to anyone who wants the best in dental care. The quality of workmanship is unsurpassed. I've had my porcelain veneers (18) upper and lower for over 20 years. I have had no problems at all and the procedure was pretty much pain free. For a person that was traumatized at an early age from another dentist by the pain from any procedure he had done, Dr. Okuda was a savior sort. I actually look forward to seeing him and his caring and wonderful professional staff. His office is not your typical dental office, its a very relaxed comforting atmosphere from the time you walk in, till the time you walk out with a great new smile. My last major experience with Dr. Okuda were putting in 5 implants on my lower jaw, again a flawless procedure. Between his caring chair side gentleness and a staff that that makes sure all of your comfort needs are met the procedure again was was amazing. Dr. Okuda's artistry and knowledge along with his team of professionals have changed my life and given me the self-confidence to smile again. Where do I begin? From the moment I stepped into Dr. Okuda’s office I was greated with a warm welcome. The office is beautiful and well maintained. From start to finish the whole experience was far more pleasant than I ever thought it could be, especially for a procedure as demanding as mine. I received 6 porcelain veneers on my top front teeth. Prior to which my teeth were smaller and had gaps spacing between. As you can imagine this type of work takes many visits and extensive amount of work, but through the entire process Dr Okuda was more than informative and patient. He encouraged me to ask questions and give feedback. Although he was the expert, he empowered me to hell design my ideal smile. I have never had such a pleasant dentist experience in my life, and it’s gonna be hard to beat this one. The staff was more than gracious, helpful, and hospitable. Every detail was thought out to make me experience exceptional, to which it exceeded. I don’t know any other dentist that includeds massages, smoothies, and movies on demand while your getting your dental work. The Dr Okuda business strategy and his charming staff members are unmatched. This truly is one of the best dental experiences available today. My experience with Dr. Okuda and his team has been nothing short of perfection. Dr Okuda is a perfectionist. His attention to detail and meticulousness is unparalleled. Two of my family members received porcelain veneers from Dr Okuda 20 years ago and they still look impeccable. Dr. Okuda not only does the best cosmetic dentistry in the islands, he is exceptionally kind and accommodating. I first came to his practice 5 years ago after crowns and veneers placed by another local dentist discolored severely. Dr. Okuda discovered that the previous work was done poorly, allowing for bacteria growth. He discounted his services to provide me with a new smile, and even offered to write a letter on my behalf to my previous dentist to request reimbursement for the faulty work. He was empathetic, reassuring, and worked quickly to remedy my problem. Recently one of my crowns chipped and Dr. Okuda rearranged his schedule to see me within 24 hours of my call, while my own general dentist stated that he couldn't see me for weeks. In 30 minutes, Dr. Okuda temporarily fixed the tooth so beautifully that you'd never know it was chipped. He is truly an exceptional dentist and artist, and I am always blown away by the kindness and professionalism of everyone in his office. Our initial consultation lasted about two hours (longer than any initial consultation afforded to me by previous cosmetic dentists), and Julie detailed Dr. Okuda’s unique approach in answering each and every question about my individual case with transparency and expertise. She made sure I felt valued as an individual client, explained every aspect of what I could expect and worked through a treatment plan that I felt comfortable with. Julie’s initial assessment, confirmed by Dr. Okuda during my second consultation, came as a surprise to me because it was the first time I was advised that I was not a candidate for an implant due to concerns about complications over time. In educating me about my individual case and Dr. Okuda’s approach in building a beautiful smile upon a foundation of health and function first, I was empowered to make a fully informed decision to invest in my smile. Cost was one of my main concerns, potentially disallowing me to go through with this treatment. For this reason, I am so grateful to current Practice Manager, Dessi Pacheco, for working with Dr. Okuda to consider my budget range, thus ensuring care would be within my financial reach. By the end of my visit, I feel relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated and all I have to do is sit up and watch the evolution of my beautiful smile. ☺ From my very first consultation and visit, right through to my final visit, Dr. Okuda ensured that I understood what to expect, he thoroughly explained any risk or challenges of each and every procedure, and was fully attuned and receptive to my own input as a partner in the development and crafting of my teeth. Each time I left the office, my smile became more and more beautiful. The temporary veneers Dr. Okuda crafted during the course of my treatment were so life-like that even my orthodontist was impressed! Initially, I only wanted the implants but glad I went with reconstruction . I want to just share my story. Two weeks before my wedding I was involved in a work accident and fell off a 25 foot tall platform. I broke my neck and messed up a bunch of teeth. We can probably all agree, going to the dentist is not fun. At least that what I thought until my first visit to Dr. Okuda. This is no typical dentist's office and he isn't your typical dentist. The office and everything in it is comfortable and soothing. More like visiting a friend's home. And he is not just a dentist, but more of an artist. I first went to see him because I had a terrible cap on a front tooth that was more than 30 years old, and was both mis-shaped and discolored. Admittedly, the whole idea of "cosmetic dentistry" didn't appeal to me because I was afraid of getting a smile that was "TOO" perfect. I shared that concern with Doc, and that's when he educated me about porcelain veneers. From there everything fell into place. The cool thing about the way he goes about his business is that he's not there to create a look for you, but rather to help co-create what YOU want as a patient. If put into TV terms, you the patient are the executive producer, and he is the co-producer who works to deliver exactly what you want and envision. And thanks to 3D modeling he can create a physical impression of your mouth and show you exactly what your finished product, or smile will look like. For me it was not about perfection, but rather keeping it real and natural. And the end result was and is exactly what I wanted. And the process is easy. From a comfortable setting, to a gracious staff, to the creature comforts such as movies, music and a massage therapist at your side (and on your shoulders and feet) it truly is more like a visit to the spa than it is a visit to the dentist. Truth be told, I'm always a bit bummed when my appointment is over. But I leave smiling! :)

My experience was absolutely wonderful!!! For years i had been having a problem with my front teeth chipping with the chips becoming larger and larger. I was afraid to bite anything with my front four teeth. Finally I was in Hawaii when I chipped my front tooth around an eighth of an inch wide and longer. I called a dentist I knew and he referred me to Dr. Okuda. ( I was visiting Hawaii). I got in to see Dr. Okuda. He asked me want I wanted to do. Did I want a patch job or a permanent solution? After years of fear, I said I wanted a permanent solution. He explained what it would be and how he would go about it. We went back to California with an appointment for the work to be done. I felt very comfortable. My husband wanted a second opinion because the cost was a lot. I talked to friends. One of them went to Mexico and had two teeth done for a lot less. One of her two teeth is crooked which she thinks it looks more natural that way. Another friend is getting implants at 2k plus the cost of the tooth! I was spending around $1500 a year fixing chips. I returned and got my temporaries which looked completely normal. Only my two daughters and two friends knew. They thought the work was really good and natural looking. They were very surprised when I told them they were only the temporaries. Meanwhile I was enjoying a fantastic bite. My teeth felt great. My bite was so good it had never been this good. The teeth were very comfortable. I ate and drank everything. I always drank water after eating beets or drinking coffee, etc. my temporaries did not stain. Yesterday I had my real set put in and wow! They look so natural. They look great. My husband and I are so pleased. The nice thing is there was just an occasional discomfort during the procedures. Much better than the fear of cracking a tooth and spending thousand plus a year getting them repaired. Dr. Okuda says that I can eat whatever I want with no fear. Im very pleased, happy, and grateful.

There are different skill levels, in every profession. Dr. Wynn Okuda is at the top the dental profession and skill set. There are only 50-60 dentists in the world that can do what he does. Dr. Okuda had to totally rework my mouth and teeth. He listened carefully to what I had to say. After performing his own investigation, he told me the truth at the very beginning. When we spoke next, he had a plan of good oral health for a lifetime. The dental care included, rebuilding my gums and jaw, replace cracked bridges, and replace failing crowns.
