In a nutshell, this dentistry office is: Honest Accommodating Trustworthy Respectful Affordable and friendly rates I urged to receive a procedure that was softly recommended by my home dentist over the phone due to some pain in a tooth. However, the dentist here did a thorough checkup and his first instinct was that the issue is not what I am assuming. I was persistent, so to ensure my health and prevent me from any rash decisions with my delicate teeth, he offered complimentary Xrays which visually demonstrated his point. I am beyond grateful because it gave me the peace of mind and he was more interested in a truthful resolution than convincing me into some procedure that I easily could have been lured into! A+ to this office, so grateful I can trust that their intent is not to send me with a big bill or unnecessary aches :) As a cherry on top the entire staff from the dentist, hygienist, Josh/Daniel and X ray team - are all so well versed in their respective roles. A truly collaborative approach to healing a patient while also remaining one of the most affordable dentistry offices. The team ensures to book patients quite strategically to ensure patients do not have to wait a long time between specialists. A highly organized team that was not at all eager to sell me products/procedures but expressed genuine care and curiosity in discovering the root of the tooth pain. Only experienced dentists have the curiosity to truly get to the bottom of the problem, and best of all, he did!!! Thabk you Waialae Dentristy!

Not bad! Dentists and dental hygienists are friendly and to the point. Flexible scheduling is great and being able to get cleanings on weekends is a game changer. The front office though, is disorganized, specifically with billing. Every time I’ve gone to pay, the total changes. Every. Time. Save yourself the headache and anxiety and go elsewhere.

My family and I has been seeing the dentist here for almost three years, and we are always happy with the level of care we receive. The front desk is very courteous and helpful. The dentists here are amazing. The two doctors that see us are Dr. Dennis and Dr. Matt. I highly recommend both of them! We will definitely will be coming back, as we have been!

An amazing dental office. I wish I got everyone’s names but I want to shout out the amazing team that was work on Tuesday 5/10. I was so scared due to a dental emergency I was having and although they didn’t accept my insurance, they helped me so much in doing all they could to help me with my emergency cost free. Would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for dental work as they are extremely thoughtful, thorough, and made my day with the kindness they showed me.

Our first experience at Wai’alae Dental was not bad, but it wasn’t great. While everyone on staff was very friendly, the processes felt very fragmented and impersonal. For example there were several people checking in and out as we arrived. The front desk staff seemed too busy and a shift change was occurring as I waited to ask about checking my daughter in. The parking lot was full, so I left my daughter inside while I went to look for street parking. This was not a great first impression. Her hygienist was great, she had a positive exam and cleaning experience. When it was time to check out it appeared as though there was another shift change or people taking breaks, so a new set of people were at the front desk. We waited for a while to check out, two people were helped ahead of us, then nothing, no one called us up and they sat there. I had to say, "Hi! We need to check out." They seemed to not know who we were or what services we had received, I had to basically start from scratch explaining what we were there for, what our insurance was, etc. also, not super reassuring. Overall I got the sense that the office does a decent job of drumming up business with mailout flyers but falls short in managing the quantity of business. We felt kind of like cattle being moved through a pipeline. Very impersonal. We have decided to go with an office closer to home and a little smaller and more personal service.

One of the best dental care office in Oahu. Open until 9pm during weekdays and even open on weekends. Don't have to take your lunch hours to visit this office - just go after your work. All of the people are extremely nice here - can't say enough good things about this place. Had my deep cleaning done, got my cavity fixed and got my crown done. All work done flawlessly. Highly recommended.

I somewhat reluctantly switched dentists out of a need for more flexible scheduling. I certainly have been pleased with the service at Waialae Dental Care and have been going there over a year now. Cleaning have been $0 each time (with insurance), and any work I have had to have done beyond that has been very reasonable. I really appreciate how the staff follow up with multiple appointment reminders. They also have consistently been on time when I have gone, and even have taken me early when I've arrived before the scheduled time. The dentists and techs are all professional and I've received great service and answers to all of my questions. Highly recommend.

This was definitely the most pleasant dental experience I've ever had. Everyone working there was incredibly kind and helpful, and the dentists were very careful and continuously told me what they were going to do and when and made sure I wasn't feeling any pain or sensitivity. Unlike other dentists I've been to, there was no shaming here for the status of my flossing habits (which actually makes me want to floss)! I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

They have put together a solid team at Wai'alae Dental Care. It took 12 minutes after my appointment time to start the cleaning process. I think Jen gave me the best cleaning I've ever had. She was super quick yet slowed down at the gum line; all with zero discomfort or pain. I usually get jabbed several times at other dentists. The first phase of my crown went very quickly and painlessly as well. It seemed like the dentist and assistant were highly versed in the process judging by their communication. Throughout the whole visit I was impressed with the friendly, polite and profesional attitude of each team member around me.

First time here, the staff are all so friendly. They made me feel welcomed. Customer service is what I look for because my job is about that. Heline was so friendly and while the Doctor was analyzing my xray, she kept me company by talking stories and such wonderful women. Brittany and the hygienist was wonderful as well. I’m a new patient at this practice and my first visit was wonderful. Everyone was so kind and they made sure I got the work I needed done. I went in for teeth cleaning, they saw my fillings needed replaced and did it on the spot. At my old dentist you would have to schedule another visit. I saw Dr. Tyler Morgan, he was so fun and made me feel comfortable. Neomi cleaned my teeth, she did a great job and was so kind. The front desk was also very helpful and treated me with respect (hard to find when you’re a college student). Definitely coming back here!

It's a process that continues through the entire service, making sure that questions are answered and care is given to take the patient's feelings in to account. Special mention to the ones who helped me directly, who were so compassionate and knowledgeable— phenomenal Macy did not hurt me one bit and was incredibly kind and amazing at her job! Kuni was also great at taking impressions and was so sweet! Dr. Morgan is the best dentist I have ever seen and his fantastic personality, industry-leading experience and overall professionalism are what make him the top Dentist on the island. I absolutely love this place and I am HUGE on customer service because I’ve won awards in that area. They will give you a blanket if you’re cold so heads up; it gets a bit chilly! This place honestly has left me ecstatic. I need a lot of work and they have exceeded my expectations. They have also set the bar for dental care, yes, they are that good. Whoever does the hiring at this place is spot-on. Wow, what a great crew! Dylan, Fay, Mae at the front, Dr. Downs and the rest of the crew I encountered (all front desk staff) are super friendly, extremely professional, caring, and accommodating, they even add extra procedures that would normally have required for me to return more than once - during my time of visit, when they can. So far, it’s been both times. Efficient af, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. They also send text reminders of appointments even several hours before! Recommend times 10!!!

As a new client who is nervous about seeing the dentist, I was comforted by their high level of professionalism balanced with warmth and friendliness. I read all the bios of the dentists BEFORE even contacting them and was impressed by the diversity, level of experience, and their commitment to excellence in patient care outlined in their vision and mission statement. The office is accessible and there is a lot of pertinent information on their website. I was able to save time filling out new patient forms online and received emails and a phone call confirming my appointment. Rhys, the dental assistant, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable -- she explained EVERYTHING to me and Dr. Lewis really put me at ease with his careful explanation, direct style of communication, and thoroughness. The Saturday appointment was what drew me in, but the exemplary service is what will keep me coming back. For such a large practice, I would never have expected such personalized care!

This company has some of the best staff that are welcoming and personal with patients. They are not the get patients in and out type of staff, but they genuinely enjoy getting to learn about patients and their daily whereabouts. The dentists here are caring of your oral hygiene and will recommend treatments only if they see fit. The hygienists are very friendly and informative in making sure that you are brushing and flossing every day, which, in the long run, will protect your oral health and lead to less financial loss. This was my first visit as I was changing dentists. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, and explained everything thoroughly. The office staff quickly corrected a mistake that was made when my appointment was booked. The hygienist was thorough and made sure that I was not in any discomfort at any time. Dr. McCullogh explained all my symptoms, showed me pictures and x-rays of the problems and explained the next steps to correct the problems. This was one of the beat experiences that I have had during a dental appt.

This is easily the best dental clinic I’ve ever been to. For my very first experience with them, I went in because I was having pain in my left mouth. They took my appointment that day, saw that I needed to get my wisdoms pulled, and took them out that day. They treated me as if I had already been a patient with them for many years and took great care of me. They have flat screen TVs in every room and even one on the ceiling to keep you as comfortable as possible. Everyone is really friendly and professional.

100% professional service by Dr. Kevin Leong and hygenist. I had to schedule an emergency appointment for a chipped tooth. They were friendly, on-time, and did such a great job. My smile looks perfect- you can't even tell that there was a chip on my front tooth! I am so pleased with the work done. In 2017 I decided it was time for me to start getting back to more self care. Thou my teeth and gums are in perfect shape, no cavities👍! getting teeth cleaned 2x a year will just add to caring for my overall health. My first trip to Waialae Dental was an exceptional one! Friendly staff in the front. Super helpful with filling out digital forms, the types of insurances they offer since I didn't have any insurance. Simple fast and they offered great options for me to pay for my teeth cleaning plan. My 2nd trip was also a very friendly one. I decided to opt for teeth whitening. After getting my teeth cleaned. I had to come back to get the whitening stuff. After doing my research, I ended up opting out of using a certain whitening gel do to the GMO ingredients in it. What could of been a horrible experience when asking for a refund turned into another amazing experience. They offered a refund or I could try a non fluoride non GMO ingredient teeth whitening. I love the fact that they use all new technology. Meaning inside their services as well as with all their paperless options. Eco conscious! I loved that. I love the fact that they send you reminders for follow up appointments and to even remind you to call to make an appointment if you previously canceled your appointment. I refer everyone I know to this place💞

Late Monday night my teeth went crazy with pain and it was without a doubt the worst dental pain of my life. To call it excruciating is an understatement. I had gone to our family dentist in the late afternoon that day. Of course, it’s now 8pm and my pain is off the chart! I called my dentist as I had no idea how to manage the pain. Do I take Tylenol, Ibuprofen or the medication I am prescribed under my pain management agreement? That’s all I needed. His response left me in tears. “There’s nothing I can do for you.” Was the response I received. At that point I was doing the “ugly cry” and spinning out of control in pure agony. Now what do I do? I am blessed to be under the care of an amazing pain management doctor and his team. I know he’s not a dentist but I was confident he could tell me how to manage the pain overnight. He immediately calmed me down and outlined a pain management strategy. He also suggested I call Waialae Dental Care the next morning. He felt confident I could be seen immediately. He was right! When I called the next morning, they scheduled me for an appointment that day. Their entire staff treated me as if I had been a patient for years and it wasn’t my first visit. Within minutes in the chair my pain was under control and I well numbed up ready for the departure of my two “pains in my mouth!!” (Lol). Now it might surprise you to know that I am petrified of dentists.... Dr. Lee and Skye were so “on it!” A slight pinch and what seemed to be only a few minutes later (although I’m told it wasn’t), and it was all over. I am rid of both the two teeth that were so painful and the family dentist who “could do nothing for me”. Thank you Dr. Lee, Skye and ALL of the staff at Waialae Dental Care. I actually got some sleep last night. I’ve found my “forever” dentist and dental care team. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me.

I showed up in excruciating pain in the left side of my mouth, Dr. Lee found the tooth he believed to be causing it, but I had no feeling in that tooth so the test was inconclusive. The next day my pain increased but I was able to identify where it was coming from. The staff was very helpful in getting me back in promptly so I could be operated on. I got a root canal and a crown put in and I am no longer in agonizing pain. I hate going to the dentist, but when I HAVE to go to one, this is my first and only choice.

Dr. Kevin Leong shows professional care of all my needs while at the same time being very personable. He is very knowledgeable in his work and expertise. He not only gives informed preventive care but is also very aware of my individual future needs and gives good advice to prevent those future problems from occurring. He keeps me 100% aware of what may happen down the road, shares with me my options, while giving me the final decision without being pushy in what kind of decisions I want to make for my own health care. He is willing and able to do all the work and is very respectful in any decisions I make. Quality of work is of EXCELLENT caliber and he continues to exhibit quality of one of the best dentists in the state.

New Patient. Call in the morning around 10am for a cleaning & Xrays.. No Problem. Yes come in. Got there early to fill out the paperwork on a Tablet. Took 18 Xrays with a small device instead of the Big Scary Machine over yr head. Clean & checked my teeth. And was able to stay & have Dr. Dennis fill a small cavity while still there!! They gave me an Estimate for other work to be done. Very Good Staff & Pleasant Demeanour!! Definitely Recommend!! Aloha;)

Absolutely best place ever to go to the dentist. This is coming from someone who has not gone to the dentist for over 15 years due to past experiences that made me fear the dentists. Iʻve been to the dentist three times in the past two weeks and have another appointment this coming week. Dr. Andy Lee is awesome. First visit great, front and back people very friendly. The bad; it's expensive and they don't coordinate properly the schedules, long long time waiting. So be ready for a 2 to 3 hours minimum when you get there. It didn't work for me.

I joined WDC solely because of Dr. Cedric Lewis ... he was a 2-man practice then. Now, he's seldom there. Opening a PC branch. And when I recently had gum-antibiotic treatment by a hygienist, NO dentist came to look at and approve the work afterwards. I fear the Kahala Mall office is becoming something of a "dental factory." Very young dentists without years of experience.
