Had a toothache and Shirley up front was such a sweetheart, making sure she got me an appointment ASAP and working around my work schedule. Their new patient paperwork is available to be filled out ahead of time online which I really like because it’s great to get that all out of the way and not have it take up your time with the dentist. And on that note, Dr. Umeda was absolutely superb. Iris who took my X-rays was so patient, sweet and caring. From my X-rays, Dr. Umeda found the culprit of my toothache—a wisdom tooth. Just to make sure I don’t run away and never have the courage to come back (which did cross my mind), they offered to take it out for me right then and there while I’m already in the chair. I knew that if I didn’t get it done right then, I’m going to put it off again and probably prolong my own pain unnecessarily. Dr. Umeda and Iris were so patient and encouraging during the anesthesia. Despite all my worries, the shot didn’t even hurt. And he gave me more than one! I’m so grateful for their care and will be returning to get my other wisdom tooth out. Thank you, Dr. Umeda, Iris and Shirley!

The first time we visited Dr. Umeda was for an extraction. The experience was beyond amazing!! Dr. Umeda removed the tooth so easily. It was like slicing through butter. Smooth and painless. Dr. Umeda is very knowledgeable and he shares this with his clients. He sets a comfortable environment and you never feel rushed, which is very good. Everyone in the office are very warm and helpful. My daughter's and I truly enjoy going there, it's truly a pleasure. I highly recommend Dr. Umeda and his staff members to anyone who desires to establish a welcoming family oriented dentist relationship. Which is also professional in their work and are very good at what they do. Make an appointment, I promise you will not have any regrets. ^_^!!

Dr. Umeda is the best. He really cares about your teeth and thinks of the longterm effect of your teeth. Minimal treatment is the best treatment! I went to another dentist for a year and ended up getting multiple teeth operations which did not need to happen. Some dentists are in it for the money! Now that I'm back with Dr. Umeda, I am a very satisfied customer. The only downside is that his services are mostly not covered by insurance, but that's the premium you pay for getting the best service. Pay more for better preventative care, or pay physically more for unnecessary oral treatments? I'd rather have healthier teeth in the long run!

DR. GARY IS THE BEST DENTIST!!! I am ecstatic that he filled my three cavities without any anesthetics, and the procedure was without any pain at all. The procedure was in fact gentle and quick. Dr. Gary has been my dentist for many years and he is one of the best. He is up on the latest developments in dentistry and strives for quality and excellence in his care of patients. He has been studying sleeping disorders as they relate to dentistry and gave me impetus to start looking into my own sleeping disorder. As a result I started working with my doctors and Dr. Gary to resolve my own health issues relating to my sleep issues. He is very thorough and practical. I would recommend him highly.

A few days ago, I fell walking across a parking lot and broke a tooth. I did not even think and called the office of Dr. Umeda. Shirley told me to come right away, no questions asked. The lady who was with me was very impressed as not too many dentists would be so flexible and accommodating. As soon as I was there, Dr. Gary told me that he would not let me go home without a new temporary tooth. As he was working on me, he even asked Siri to play for me a favorite piano piece by Chopin. He kept me happy and comfortable. It was really painless and fairly fast and I got my temporary tooth. I felt so relaxed that when there were no fingers in my mouth, I was able to tell Dr. Gary and Iris that I was very happy in that dentist's chair. I appreciated feeling so good there, as I was also in shock from the fall. I am very grateful for the superior care I received that day. I will return in a couple of days to get my new veneer crown. I am looking forward to looking great. Everyone there is loving and caring. This totally transforms the experience.

I always had bad gum n bad bones in my mouth all my life . Whenever I cleaned my teeth I was bleeding everywhere. Since I went to dr umeda my teeth a year later is perfect. My bone is strong n my gum is healthy without any inflammation. It’s a miracle. I must thank the doctor for making me use Waterloo and soft tooth brush n mood tooth paste. And everyone in the office is nice n Uber efficient. I am a super happy patient.

I was referred to Dr. Umeda by someone I trust. After my first visit which included an exam, I was mind blown. I actually took a ton of notes! I hadn’t seen a dentist in 6 years because I’ve had bad experiences with dentists. Dr. Umeda is extremely wholistic and wellness oriented with his approach. I was incredibly relieved and impressed. A lot of fear based decisions in our lives I feel can be traced down to the fear of the unknown. Which is the reason for me not going to the dentist in 6 years! Never know what my previous dentists were doing in my mouth, never knew what surprise unnecessary procedure I’d be facing next. They were like the scamming mechanic always saying other things need to be replaced when they really didn’t. With Dr. Umeda he is very conscious of making sure absolutely no part of the procedure, cleaning, or wholistic perspective of the problem becomes lost in the unknown. He’s always educating me the interconnectedness between everything and how the health of my teeth and gums are a great report card of my overall health. I’m being educated the entire way through the procedures and cleaning with every insight and detail he has to share. Every visit I learn so much and he was also the only person to make me aware of that my sleep disorder is due to an airway issue, which caused me to grind my teeth. I’m blessed to have come across his path and feel very comfortable and confident in the way he conducts business...With my health and wellness being the number one priority.

This dentist is one of those "in the know" kind of guys who is always keeping up with the latest advancements in dentistry and holds his staff to the highest of standards without losing the feeling like they really care. When he tells you something you don't have to research it you can just count on it as reliable information. Especially when it comes to Dentistry. Knowing how hard it is to find a decent health care provider I almost don't want to leave this review because the last thing I need is more competition for appointments!
